Extremely funny guy! Easy and clear materials. Tests are very straight forward. He is not a teacher trying to trick you in the test. As long as you understand the concept, you will do fine in the test. Highly recommend him.

Do homework when assigned. Professor has a great sense of humor. Ask for help if needeD, he will help you. Gives Study-handouts prior to exam ( make use of them ). Exams are relatively easy, part multiple choice, part hand-on. Had a good time in this class. Would take another class with Professor Rupp.

I do not want to be demeaning, but people, THIS GUY is a LONG way from a genius: He in no scholar. It is easy to see WHY student love him: his class is EASY to pass. Took him for online class, and got an A. Overall he is a good professor. all we have to do is homework and movie reviews. Better than most people in this college.

Good teacher, tells lots of funny stories. explains everything. treats you like an adult. i look forward to coming to this class. make sure you read the chapter beforehand tho, it makes it easier to understand what is going on.

Great professor! After reading all these comments, I almost dropped the class, and I am glad I did NOT. He explains really well and goes over the homework. He also gives a review before the tests. He is not out there to get you. Go to class, do homework and study and you will do great. I got an A, and I did not need to take the last test.

This guy is not only histerical but he is a great guy. If he sees that his class is working hard and putting an effort in (doing their homework and studying) then he'll do things like let you leave early or give you a day off. Rupp is one of the best professors I've had and his values are very old school and I like it. I definitely reccomend him!!!

He's great if you can stay on your A game. tests are fair, and if you don't understand the material he'll stop and help you no problem. he's hilarious and quick-witted. Plus very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. Even if you're not going into finance or accounting, he'll still relate finances to investment decisions you'll make one day

In all honesty, professor Rupp can be perceived as demanding, but no one can say that if you show up, pay attention, and do the assignments, you can't get an (A), very easily. As for his wittiness, humor and story telling; it's just part of his teaching style. I didn't mind it in the least. BOTTOM LINE... I WOULD RECOMMEND GARY RUPP TO ANYONE!!!

This guy is seriously hysterical. One of my favorite professors. Moves at a relatively fast pace but will definitely slow down to help you out. I recommend him. I hear his online class is very tough though. Classroom is a better idea.

This professor is great and very funy. His fair with everything. Your in class to learn not to play around. So those of u with bad comments about this professor probably did not do any homework or study at all. He keeps u awake and have so many jokes. Study and u will do great

Funniest professor. Jokes around all class but gets the lesson done. If you have questions ask him cause he will explain it until you do understand. Doesnt check the homework but, doing the homework helps you understand everything 100 times better.

Great Professor. Do the work and do it correctly and you will earn an A. He doesn't appreciate when people do not do their work. Follow directions and you will learn!

His online class is definitely difficult and requires a legitimate commitment in order to do well. He doesn't provide gratuitous feedback but it's enough to get by. The class is 5 assignments for 25 points each. He won't tell you, but the last assignment is all extra credit. It is not an average of the 5. You have the opportunity for 125/100.

Not sure why everyone is giving this guy such a bad rating, really great teacher, all of his tests are open note book & textbook. Do the homework and pay attention in class and you'll do great. He relates all topics to personal stories and make the class interesting and makes you want to go. Definitely taking him again next semester.

Rupp is an awesome professor! He is funny and interacts with the class. You won't be bored. Do the homework and you're golden. He is willing to go over a question as many times as you need. He explains the material in an easier way than the textbook. Tests are fair and he allows one page (front & back) of notes. Super helpful!

Excellent professor. He has helped me over the past year and I got an A in both of his classes. I willing took 404 with him because he was so good in 201. You have to be mature to follow his sense of humor and you have to respect him and he will respect you back. Whenever I need recommendation I know he'll write it for me. Best professor at fdale!

Professor Rupp was great! I took him for intersession 2015 and I actually looked forward to going to his class! We had great class discussions and he was always very interactive with the students in the class. I am taking him again for BUS 404 (online) for Spring 2015 and I am sad that it is not in class! Thanks Professor Rupp! YOUR ROCK!

Ive taken Rupp for 404 and 409. I had him in an actual class and an online class. He has a great deal of knowledge and he is always looking out for his students. The structure of his online class' are awesome. No tests just a lot of responding to classmates and posting your ideas from the text. Got an A in both classes.

I took Professor Rupp for BUS 411, he was very clear and precise from the beginning of what he expects from you. My suggestion, if you finish the work asap, and subscribe to the discussion to receive alerts on when conversations are started. Do the work, finish everything quickly.

Professor Rupp is a very good professor. I took him for Accounting 2, and he gave homework every single day that we had class. However, he doesn't check to see if you did the homework or not because he says it's up to you. But I do advise to do the homework because he gets all the questions from the homework. He lets you bring a cheat sheet on test

I took him for accounting 2 and signed up with him the following semester. Down to earth professor that treats you like and adult. If you don't do your work or study you won't pass, and thats the way school should be. Makes lectures enjoyable and creates easy exams if you know the material. Easy A.

Deadlines are VERY important to him. You are expected to start online assignments the first week, even though they aren't due for several weeks. But as long as you do the reading and submit assignments on time then you will pass.

If you get anything less than an A in this class you don't care about putting in the effort. I took him online, there are no tests and there are only 6 modules, which include 6 discussions and 6 homeworks. He gives you a chance to have 125 points. You don't even need to do the last module. Such an easy professor, do the work!!!

Professor Rupp is a tough teacher, but great. As long as you follow his requirements (which are clearly laid out) then you will be fine. He expects you to work early and submit quality work that has been well researched. Just work on-time and you will be fine.

He is a straight shooter and is very knowledgeable in the area of accounting. He tells you what he expects upfront. If you show up to class and do the work its an achievable A.

Only 5 modules but usually 3 diff topics that need to be posted on, you have to post 3 diff days, answer other posts, ask a question. You earn the most points doing all of that, hw can be ridiculous how many questions he assigns on top of outside questions being multiple pages long and multiple outside sources. You have to work, don't be lazy

HW and assignments can be 20 or more questions long out of 18 points usually. Get 1 question wrong takes off multiple points, ridiculous. 3 diff discussions each module so about 15 for the semester, make posts on 3 days or get no credit, have to use support articles for points made, answer other posts, ask questions to engage class, lot of work.

Took this professor for the spring 2018 semester. He gives 6 very long homework assignments throughout the entire semester. You must post 2 questions and at least 3 detailed responses. Seems like ALOT at first glance but super manageable and easy A. You get nearly 30 extra points to play with. You can miss an entire week and still get an A. g4it

Hes HILLAROUS!!! You will laugh in class every day. Makes accounting easy to understand and has many funny stories from his work as an accountant.

Professor Rupp is at first intimidating I feel and the grading was a bit confusing to me at first. But overall it was an easy A. You get used to the course work. I recommend him if you're just trying to take a intro to bus class. There were no lectures just Tedd talks and youtube videos. Textbook is required b/c he assigns Q. to A. in the text.

Rupp has a great way of teaching complex business material in a manner that is easy to understand. He gives you all the tools you need to ace his course, and best of all he's hilarious! You will enjoy having him as a professor!

Should I say it? Ok,Ok, I'll Say it! Professor Rupp is amazing! He's very funny and you will learn a great deal from him if you pay attention and show up to class. If you do all the work he assigns it is not difficult to get an A since all of his tests are open book! Thanks G A R Y!

This was a really great Professor! His teaching method was great a lot of Ted Talks and very interesting videos. Very communicative. I wrote him a lot of emails and he always responded and helped throughout the course. Really happy I took his class

Professor Rupp is a great professor; he cares for his students; he wants you to succeed in his class. He makes sure you earn the maximum points when he assigns work. I highly recommend taking his class; you will learn a lot and do the discussions.

I do not understand the low grading of Prof Rupp by my fellow student in Fall 2021. He gives almost 30% in extra credit in the form of discussion post. Yes, he is very strict about deadlines and wants you to post discussions over three days and answer two students. No test, just home work. Again strict deadlines. Its an easy class to manage online.

Professor Rupp, great guy if anything he wants his students to succeed in class. Lots of work which is understandable from 400 level class. Go to class, pay attention, ask questions or interact, and most importantly do all the required work he demands becuause if you do both you and professor Rupp will be smiling at the end of the semester.
