Smart guy. Real world teachings
His reviews from tests are straight from the book. Gives plenty of extra credit. Group projects are a bit hard but he's easy to please being that he'spretty easy going. Would take him again.
This teacher is horrible. Hes a nice guy but not a teacher. The class literally teaches and he doesn't do anything. Its his first semester teaching fulltime and is still learning the techniques of teaching. His tests are very detailed and he puts test review on quizlet.com. The problem is that when printed it is 37 pages just for a 5 chapter quiz
One of the worst teachers I've ever had. Unorganized (loses quizzes and emails), never teaches (literally group projects all year), doesn't answer student questions, and barely knew the information he was teaching. Tests can be confusing and with the 1000 question quizlet reviews he puts up, difficult to study for. I will never take him again.
Awesome guy, but awful teacher. Has a ton of knowledge about subject, but doesn't teach it. Course info presented by groups. 3 group projects, 2 quizzes and 2 exams with extra credit which you need because tests are VERY difficult since all time is spent on group projects. Got an A, but only after MUCH stressing and work. Can be helpful if asked.
I'd never recommend him to anyone. He is disorganized, scatterbrained. Never knew my grades. He lets students teach, which was not helpful at all.
He doesn't understand how to run a classroom at all. He shouldn't be teaching at a college level class. He changed the way he taught the class 3 weeks before the end of the semester. His tests are straight for the book but it is info that isn't necessary to learn for the subject. I got a good grade but going to his class was stressful and painful.
Changed his syllabus rules All through out the semester. I got a good grade but we had 2 group project in the semester I didnt get my grades for them until after the final. You never know your grades, he loses things, inconsistent, doesnt teach, boring and makes us teach the class. I never looked fwd to going to class and attendance was "mandatory"
Mr. Swanson is cold and unhelpful to his students. If you ask him a question he makes you feel stupid. He is inconsistant and does not own up to his mistakes. He was boring and made the students teach the course. The only time he talked was when he wanted to get on a soap box share his opinion on a subject. He's not an inspiring teacher.
The most unclear professor I have ever had. Does not need to teach. Talking in circles is not teaching. And drawing "picture maps" like in grade school is not a teaching method when at the end of the year no one remembered it anyway. Even your own assistant seems unclear about assignments and frustrated at your lack of consistency.
Students whine “they teach” the class; they miss the point. He gets us used to speaking with easy material, making the create a business project less stressful. He respects opinions and listens. Swanson is intelligent, engaging, and has a great sense of humor. Read the book and the class is not hard. He did change one task - to help the students.
You need to come to class and be open minded to do work. Mr. Swanson has a ton of real experience. He could use more examples from that, and less book, but overall okay. He is newer, give him time to get better.
Has a ton of real-life exp. in the subject, and shares both mistakes and positive lessons learned. Quizzes each class that give bonus pts, and 2 easy grp projects. Tests are HARD, but he gives reviews and creates study guides. Wants you to do well, but wants you to make an effort. Seems to have really improved over last year.
Tests are hard with fill-ins, MC and T/F, but he reviews and makes Quizlet study guides. Is very specific about what he wants, but is open-minded about listening to feedback. 2 grp projects, but daily quizzes give bonus points. Gives lots of opps for EC. A little disorganized, but he is working on that. Take him for his knowledge. Great guy!
Knows a lot about subject. Tests are hard but EC will help your grade. Tells exactly what to do to get a B. Attendance is req. and there are group projects. You have to show up and put in some effort, but it's a college class so you should expect that. Still new, and figuring it all out. Take him for his industry exp.
Tests/quizes were all really easy. Group projects were kind of a pain but that is to be expected when working with other people. He was always willing to talk to me after class to clarify assignments. After people struggled on the first test he used quizlet to help us out on the rest of the tests. Take him. He helped me with and internship.
One of the absolute worst professors I've ever had. He doesn't need time to figure out his unorganization, he just doesn't teach. You have to teach yourself and the rest of the class. He gives NO instructions on the two group projects so you have to figure it out yourself, but it better be exactly what he wants. Spare yourself the frustration.
He is inconsistent, unhelpful, and unorganized. He is the worst teacher I have ever had. He uses his TA's to do all of the work a real teacher should be doing and references any questions to them unless he wants to make you feel dumb. He gives EXTREMLEY unclear instructions and expects you to read his mind. DO NOT TAKE
Signed up for 2 of his classes and dropped both. The group projects in both classes were students teaching chapters to the class. All grading, lectures, and so forth were left to the multiple TA's. ( Easy paycheck for him) Groups assigned day 1 - they drop out then your still responsible for all their work. "That's life" - Gary
Worst professor I have EVER had! He doesn't have lectures, 9 times out of 10 he talked about his time working for the airlines. No powerpoints. Students "teach" students during projects. Tests and quizzes are super easy as long as you look at the quizlets. He mandates attendance like I have never seen...you have a nametag like you are 10.
I don't know what people are whining about. Swanson treats students like employees in the real world. He requires you to do what you are supposed to, and doesn't like whiners. Quizlet has almost all info needed for test so that's easy, and he gives tons of EC. Act professional, do your work and you'll be fine. It's not that hard. I got an A.
Really knowledgeable about guest service, and shares lots of stories about experience. Tests are kind of hard with some fill in the blank, but he makes Quizlet cards to study. Lots of EC opps. Group projects were annoying but not hard and all classes here have them so whatever. You just have to come to class and study and you will be fine.
Easy class. Gave online flash cards for every chapter to study and gave EC for using them. People complained about group project but they were easy. Very picky about class policies but that is real world. Honestly don't know what the fuss is. I'd take the guy again.
The book sucks, but he tries to make it easier. Uses Quizlet to help study. Group projects were annoying but easy. Syllabus was very long, but you know EXACTLY what he expects. Offered to help everyone with resume or recommndations. I'm taking him again for Guest Management.
People want professors to just give grades away and not have to follow any rules! Students say he's not easy because you actually do have to study and work for your grade. Projects were easy, quizzes & exams also IF you studied the quizlet. If i had the chance to retake him again I would. Grow up were in college!
Not a fan, thought I would learn a lot about risks and events - I didn't learn one thing that had to do with events, only airlines. You have to ask him questions 3 different ways before he understands. I was so excited to take this class and now I regret ever taking it with him. I would avoid if possible
Hard class because of subject. Book is awful, but prof tries to make it as easy as possible. Makes Quizlet for each chapter and test, so you will get good grade if you study. Attend quiz in every class and 1 test per week, but my fault for taking during summer. 1 group project was complex. Swanson really cares about his students. I learned a ton!
Probably the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. He is so unorganized and you can tell he really doesn't know what he is talking about. All directions are super unclear and the class pretty much takes over all of his lectures. He is not credible at all and he is very dull and dry. The class is super boring. DONT TAKE HIM!
This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He is inconsistent with instructions and guidelines. At times it seems as though he is unsure about what he is lecturing about. Attendance and the final are the biggest parts of your grade.
Outside of being a teacher, he is a cool dude that would be cool to have a beer with, but as a teacher he is quite difficult. His guidelines are quite vague and at times I think he's winging it. But don't miss class. He's really strict about attendance as you have quizzes everyday and you get points off for even just going to the bathroom.
Very unclear on the guide lines of attending class, leaving to go to the bathroom will result in a 0 in participation for that class. Tests are fairly easy but the group project is outrageous and time consuming. Classroom time is extremely boring and useless but its mandatory, Don't ask him questions, he'll never give you a straight answer
I took him for guest services and Marketing. He's a nice guy, but very unclear with project guidelines. His classes were basically comprised of memorizing lists and regurgitating them for the test. He creates Quizlet sets for each chapter which are helpful, but the majority of the information I learned was pointless.
Honestly this class was useless. He makes you sign a contract saying you'll buy the book because he takes things word-for-word from the book, sticks it into a quizlet, and that's not only what you're quizzed on daily but that's all you do in class. He has extremely bad jokes and thinks he's hilarious. If you value your education, take someone else.
Took this class as mixed mode & wish I would have taken it completely online. I would have actually learned something rather than memorizing a quizlet for class and tests - that's literally all you do. You "do" need the textbook & there's one group project. Take this class either completely online or with a different professor.
I would not suggest this professor, for any class. I am surprised he is even at Rosen. Very confusing, changes rules w/o notice, etc. Not very "Hospitality Friendly" and he uses too many "forward" examples for my liking. I am struggling and wish I would have looked on here prior to registration. Very disappointed.
Do NOT take this professor. I took him for event sales and he is not a teacher. he makes a quizlet that you use an assignment on, then in class you take a quiz on, and then you spend the entire class studying. He also changes his syllabus every week and still hasn't figured out when our final exam is. I got an A but this class was a disappointment
This class, mainly this professor, is an absolute joke. He has no idea what he's doing and he expects his class to know exactly what he means. He doesn't actually teach, he takes material straight from the book and makes you sign a contract so he's not in breach of copyright infringement. Don't take him.
This man should not be allowed to teach. He is inconsistent, doesn't know what he's talking about regarding assignments, he gave us a 75 question test with a 60 minute limit (including open-response questions), and he's been trying to schedule the final during other exam times! He's crazy. If you value your sanity, avoid this guy at all costs!
I just loved this class with Prof. Swanson. Very funny guy. Tests are straight forward. Quizlet is your bread and butter. Somewhat of an easy A but that 15-20 page marketing plan (group project) is definitely a killer. Totally worth it though. Would definitely recommend. Attendance policy SUPER strict. Don't miss class. Ever.
Found this class to be difficult by surprise. Even though the class was completely online, he makes you come to class for the midterm and final. Gives you a lot of information to study and has a lot of fill-in-the-blanks on his tests. Also has a lot of quizzes and assignments due through the semester.
DO NOT TAKE HIM! For an online class it is horrible. Midterm and final are in person, fill in the blank 50 questions... And not easy questions, more like "Name 10 out of 13 _____" and you have to remember off the top of your head. Take another professor at all costs! This "online" class will save you no stress!
This class can be passed if you put any amount of effort into it. He does give a quiz EVERY class, he assigns difficult discussion questions and he is very very strict about attendance! IF YOU DONT GO TO CLASS DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!! 2 group projects and 3 tests, he gives second chances and opportunities to pass the class. Overall the class is doable.
He is a very tough grader and takes off points for little things. He also isn't very clear about what he wants for hw and then takes off points. There is a quiz every class, but he posts all the questions on quizlet. If you do end up with him don't buy the book, you will not use it because he puts everything on quizlet. Try to avoid if you can.
I wouldn't wish this professor upon my worse enemy! A LOT of assignments and doesn't give ANYONE full credit for anything. Requires you to meet with him outside of class as well. I worked my booty off for a C
Hard, very critical, the ongoing group project is a lot of work, very unclear in regards to assignments, always changes the assignment objectives.
Wouldn't recommend him if he was the last teacher on Earth. Makes students read everything out loud, disrespected Rosen College during the first class and just all around rude. Only talks about Delta and the airline industry. He is terrible.
There is group project work all semester long. There is a quiz at the beginning of class every single day. Most of the exam questions make no sense, you just have to memorize his 300 slide quizlet folders. A lot of the questions are wrong or phrased horribly. This class should be easy but he makes it so hard because he's terrible. Safe yourself.
Professor Swanson is a great professor, the course and material he teaches is very heavy and in depth. This is not a class that you can skip assignments or not show up to class. There is a an attendance quiz everyday with multiple assignments due throughout the week. Overall he is very caring, gives plenty of X/C and wants you to pass
I took Professor Swanson for Event Marketing online. It was not an easy online class therefore if you are looking for that I would not recommend taking this class with him. However, I did learn quite a lot and although it was not easy, it was a worthwhile class that made me work for my grade, which it what any class should do.
I really enjoyed taking his class! There's a big group project at the end, and if you get stuck with a bad group like I did, it can be a bit difficult, but he is super understanding and I ended up getting a great grade for my portion of the work. A bit of homework, but overall really good class! He's always willing to help and gives great feedback!
Worst teacher in the game. Took him for a face-to-face class and then he picked up one of my online classes last minute the next semester and I actually considered dropping it. Beyond rude. Says up front you wont get an A for simply doing the assignment; you have to meet all the criteria and then do bonus work. Tests are ridiculously hard.
This was the most organized online class I've taken at Rosen. It was a lot of work but definitely doable. Halfway through the course, he started to provide feedback for my work so that I could improve. I wish I had known from day 1 what to expect, but I had plenty of time to improve.
took the online class!! Allows you to re-take your quiz if you get a low score 2 quizzes per week and review questions..6 questions only 2 questions per chapter proctor hub exams but really easy if you STUDY!!! one final and midterm no projects super caring and easily accessible via email or web courses messages 50 questions 2 points per question
This class does have a lot of work, but what summer class wouldn't! With 6 review questions from 3 chapters and 2 five question quizzes based on the reading and videos due every week, you do have to actually TRY in this class. I thought overall he was a great teacher with interesting course material. Take him and suck it up, do the work!
He was awesome! Got good grades on all quizzes and hw and the only quiz I didn't do that great on he offered me a second chance to get a better grade. I also goofed and missed the final and he was understanding and let me retake it the next day.
I liked the class overall. A lot of the work is preparing you for life outside of school; like preparing your resume, cover letters, interviews etc. Quizzes everyday for attendance but he dropped the lowest 3 class and gave you a chance to make it up if you missed more. Very helpful but Quizlet study sets are HEAVY! You have to put in the work.
This class requires a lot of work, but its deffinitely not horrible. Get ready to write a ton, but he grades farely and will give any extra help if needed. Deffinitely some long lectures, but you really do develops some great skills and papers to use in your professional career.
This class does require a lot of work, but well worth it. When I first saw the amount of work I had to do, I considered dropping, but it honestly taught me a lot. He was a good teacher, especially if he felt that you were trying. There is a attendance quiz every day, but if you look at the quizlet that he makes up, you will be fine. Good Teacher.
Professor Swanson is an amazing teacher, but if you were going to take his communications class, you definitely should not take more than three classes. I took three classes the same semester I took his class, and his class basically counts for two classes. There is a lot of work, and a lot getting ready for the career fair. Helpful but just ALOT.
His class has a lot of busy work, but is very doable. He does give a quiz for attendance each class, but he gives you the questions and answers before hand on quizlet. He does the same for the Midterm and Final. Literally all of the questions and answers are word for word. He is a nice man who really cares about our success in class and in life.
Prof. Swanson is the best. He may seem tough from the start, but he is hilarious and cares so much about his students. It has been the most helpful/useful class I've taken, you work hard, but it pays off to be successful in the future. He is a great contact to have in this industry. Daily matching quizzes, text is only needed for the group project.
This class is not for the lazy or procrastinator! It has a lot of work but it is all worthwhile and teaches you a life lesson. Prof. Swanson is extremely caring and funny. Dont listen to the negative reviews- he is nowhere near as bad as everyone says. 2 Group Projects(not hard) & quizzed every day before class (make sure to get there early!)
I freaking loved him! At first, it was a lot of work, but you cant get out of that because its basically the hardest class at Rosen. He gives amazing feedback. He also makes you keep a binder full of everything in order for it to be easy to access for great information for when you are applying and interviewing. HES THE BEST.
Do not skip the class you wont pass. He truly cares about his students, yeah the class is A LOT of work but its worth it. He gives you less work than the rest of the Com teachers (trust me) but hes good. His feedback is relevant too, a little old school, but relevant to the real world industry since he used to work at Universal and Delta.
Great Professor! There are attendance quizzes almost everyday, or some assignment that counts towards attendance. If you get good grades throughout the semester and participate, theres a good chance he will be generous with bonus points and extra credit. Very caring indeed. I would definitely take again!
Overall great professor, truly takes an interest and really wants you to succeed. Great connection to have when you are looking for jobs, extremely helpful. Mandatory attendance, also a lot of assignments. Take in mind HFT 4286 is a lot of assignments regardless of the teacher.
DON'T LET THE RATING SCARE YOU AWAY! Mr. Swanson is truly one of the most influential, caring, flexible, and brilliant teachers you will ever have. The course requires a lot of busy work, but he will tirelessly help you every step of the way and guide you to a PROMISING career. I'm far more confident in my communicating skills, because if him.
This class is intimidating when you first begin because there is a lot of work, HOWEVER, all of the assignments are useful and all he wants to do is help you land your dream job. If you follow his instructions on assignments, you'll do well. He gives great feedback and truly cares about helping his students. I would 100% take him again.
His class is A LOT of work, but if you can get passed the first couple weeks, the rest is a breeze. He is super understanding about things that come up, and is willing to work with you. If you make an honest effort, YOU WILL PASS.
I was extremely hesitant to take Prof. Swanson but he was the only class time that fit my schedule. I never would have known that his would be such a blessing in disguise. Yes the class is a ton of work, but I have never had such a compassionate and caring professor. He is such a great man and provides great feedback. I can't wait to take him again
Don't be overwhelmed in the beginning. The course is front loaded with a lot of work. On the flip side, Swanson really does genuinely care. He given back detailed feedback on everything you do. The book was needed for group chapter but I scanned the pages from the library copy. His quizlet set up is awesome! Take advantage of it.
Unfortunately I can't recommend him. Weekly quizzes at the start of every class about the content you are about to learn. He then has the class read off of an article and talks a bit about it, so doesn't really do much teaching. Wastes 3 weeks of class with presentations that don't benefit our learning. Unnecessarily heavy on homework. Don't take.
Having Swanson in previous classes, you learn quickly that you will have to study for weekly in class attendance quizzes. There was at least 2 assignments a week. And he is willing to help you after class. He is always willing to help his students achieve a good grade in his class. He wants his class to succeed.
Need textbook for discussions which are the biggest stress of the class. I felt the class was harder than my grade reflected. Exams are proctored online. Lecture heavy and he basically explains the premise of the discussions that week in class so its logical to follow.
This class is literally a part time job. He's one of those professors that 'doesn't believe in perfect scores' and gives you a B on practically everything. The amount of work for this class is outrageous and his lectures are very weak to be honest.
Swanson is not a professor that cares if you work hard. He is extremely strict and he works against his students , instead of helping build better leaders for the industry. He doesn't even teach helpful material, he just makes students read articles out loud to the class. There are better professors for Communications class, take them instead!
Took him for communications and I can honestly say it was one of the most beneficial classes I took at UCF. He actually teachers real life skills and doesnt waste time on things that dont matter outside of the classroom. There are lots of presentations but that can be expected in a communications class. HIGHLY recommend or any class! He is great!!
The class starts off very intimidating, but after the first few weeks it calms down a lot. He works with you if you miss assignments or have things that happen. You just have to talk to him. There are 2 major assignments other communications classes have they he doesnt, but he does add another assignment. He just wants his students to succeed.
My grade doesnt reflect how great this professor is. I was overcome with a new job and a hospital visit due to an injury that made coming to class hard and hurt my attendance However, I do think this professor is great. He is always encouraging and supportive in those high stress moments. I took away so many skills/advice that will help me further
Professor Swanson is a wonderful professor. His grading is a bit harsh and attendance is mandatory but if you keep up with the assignments you will definitely pass. Make sure to always speak with him and he will work with you. Great guy!
Like other comments, his class does start off intimidating but it's truly one of the most beneficial classes I've taken at UCF over my 3 years. I learned real world skills that I will continue to use in the future in work/interviews and real life situations. He's a character sometimes but he means well and really does want you to succeed.
I would definitely take him again. Weekly homework was a bit tedious but worth it. There was a paper instead of a group project. He truly cares about his students and was constantly emailing us with updates & just to check-in on us. Weekly HW & quizzes, 1 paper, 1 midterm, & 1 final. Do the work right & youll pass the class with ease!
Prof. Swanson was a good solid choice for the online Guest Services Management class. Weekly review questions required reading of the text, but it helped tremendously in the understanding and application of the material. Also, the end of term paper seems long, but based on the criteria, it was easy to write. I would definitely take him again.
I'm sure he's fine in other classes, but I strongly suggest taking someone else for managerial accounting. He set up his class like his other hospitality classes which just doesn't work for this type of material. Did a lot of self learning since he couldn't explain problems without answer key. He can be very nice and curves/gives extra credit.
Great professor. Truly cares about his students! The class was pretty content heavy I wont lie, and he has a very specific grading criteria. Its all doable though, and never is too overwhelming. Stay on his good side, and show interest in assignments and he will make the class easier for you in the long run. The best teacher for this class.
Professor Swanson is a one-of-a-kind professor who genuinely cares about the careers of his students. You will receive a fair amount of class work, but his class is the reason I am successful in my career today. Professor Swanson will prep you for: resume help, interviews, speaking to VIPs, confidence etc. Take Swanson if you want success.
I really loved taking Gary Swansons class. Its the ONLY class that I actually use in everyday life and prepared me for the real world upon graduation. There are a good amount of assignments but each and every one piggy backing off of the other and preparing you for interviews and your future. The assignments lessen w/ time. Thankful for this class
I'm currently taking this class, and this is the most content heavy class I have ever taken. There's a paper each week, and by the fourth week of class, they're all mandated to become peer-reviewed, so you have to submit 2 copies of your paper. Not to mention, he has very specific qualifications for a good paper, so you have to be really specific
DO NOT take this class. I am taking 5 classes this semester including this one and the homework for my other 4 classes combined isnt even close to the amount due for this class. This teacher has got to be breaking some kind of rules assigning this much work. Two full essays, a 500 word peer review, plus multiple quizzes due every week . lol smd.
Professor Gary Swanson is so nice. I am really grateful for his teaching and helps. Hope everyone will enjoy his class face to face.
Professor Gary Swanson is so nice. I really like his class. Hope everyone has a chance to experience his class face to face.
I took Professor Swanson through my Hospitality Degree. He was one of, if not the best Professor I had. He is clear and straightforward and he genuinely cares that you succeed. He’s not just another Professor that will give out assignments and leave you be. He is hands on and it helps you to be the best version of yourself you can be.
This course is really hard no matter who you take it with. I took 3 classes with Professor Swanson. His lectures are funny, engaging, and bring his executive experience at both Delta and Universal to the table. His course is the reason why I got my dream job as a Front Office Manager at Disney. I was so prepared with the assignments from his class.
Truly cares! To do well, complete assignments and show up. Lots of work in the class, but worth it. Many assignments are geared toward personal/professional development-resume, info interview, etc. Throughout the class, think how the material will benefit you now and in the future. He provides detailed feedback and wants students to succeed.
Awesome Professor!!
This Professor was one of the best I have had through my entire college career. He really cares about you and your grade and will work with you. His class taught me how to be more professional and how to tackle real life obstacles. He does give quizzes every class but as long as you do the reading you should be fine. I highly recommend him.
He is one of the best professors I’ve taken so far. Though his class is very content-heavy, and you will have quizzes and papers due weekly, he will work with you, and you will learn a lot. My advice is to plan, double read his assignments, and do it EXACTLY as he says it.
One of the best professors I had during my bachelor degree, really cares about knowledge, not just grades. Professor Swanson provided very detailed feedback on many assignments which can be useful beyond class time.A lot of information from the class will be used in real life, including portfolio, interview and LinkedIn skills.
This professor genuinely cares about your success in the future. He is avery valuable mentor to have in your professional career! He really helps with Linkedin tips as well. I also learned very valuable life and career skills in this class as a whole. You have to put in work but it is worth the pay out, just like life in general.
Prof Gary’s lectures are humorous and can arouse students' independent thinking and attract everyone to listen to him. Assignments can help us review the knowledge well. In a word, it is very attractive to have a face-to-face class with the professor, and I hope I can have the opportunity to attend his class again.
One of the best at The Rosen College. It’s work but you will learn things that help you out in the workforce especially when managing a team/ working together.
Professor Swanson is tough but he teaches you skills that matter in the real world and he was one of the best I had at UCF. Reach out to him if you need to! He cares about his students and he is a great person to guide you.
Professor Doc is an amazing professor and has a robust amount of experience, knowledge, and most importantly connections. He cares about his students and his courses are clear and direct. You can earn the A if you simply complete the work and have takeaways from the class. my favorite part is the interviews with higher up industry professionals.
Professor Swanson is one of the best professors I know. He truly cares about you and has a robust amount of experience in the industry that connects you deeper with yourself as a growing leader and learning student. Group projects are managed well and he is always available to talk if you need anything. Work hard and you will have lots of takeaways
Professor Swanson's class has been extremely helpful for my professional career. He can be a tough grader, but he is extremely clear with expectations and gives great feedback. Taking this course online is not the best option because it is so content heavy, so try to get him in person so you can actually make a connection!
Professor Swanson pushed me and the class to our limits making us believe in ourselves more than we ourselves did. I feel more confident now going into the workforce having taken communications class knowing what skills are needed to be done. Also I love how much experience and knowledge professor Swanson had in Communications.
I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr.Swason and his teaching style. By no means is this class effortless snooze, be prepared to put the work in and engage during activities. Quizzes daily, plentiful projects and assignments galore, however knowledge you will leave with will help elevate your career to an exceptional level.
Professor Swanson is one of the best professors I have had! He sets clear expectations for his students. The course material can be challenging, but he shows genuine care and kindness towards his students. He is truly dedicated to helping his students succeed.
Professor Swanson is one of the best professors at Rosen. While the assignments may seem tough, he gives clear guidelines and expectations for projects. What you learn in his class goes such a long way outside of just getting a grade. He is helpful, approachable, and genuinely wants his students to succeed.
