If you go to most of the his classes, the tests are easy. He really drills the infromation into your head, even if the class is uberly boring

Cares about students & is open enough to offer outside class time access. He is a tough grader but provides feedback so you can improve your grades - I walked away with 2 A's.

Textbook is a mix of a few different ones, which is not gonna be very helpful. You need to pay attention to everything he says in class in order to do good on tests

Took his online class and it was the class I did the most work in, but I have a sick love for it. He is so smart and has so much knowledge about the industry. There is an unlimited amount of assignments to do but if you're willing to work your ass off then take it! You will learn a lot I love him!

Professor Wolfe leads a demanding class both in the amount of material that is covered and the participation that he expects from the class. He uses a lot of examples from his career in retail and current industry news to illustrate what would otherwise be pretty abstract material.The general tone of the class is casual and open, but be punctual!

What a great man, Gary is one of the most knowledgeable professors at FIT. The Fashion Inventory Management class for FBM requires attention to detail and Gary makes sure you understand the material. Pay close attention and try not to skip class because there is a ton of material that's covered each lecture. Gary makes this course enjoyable!

I had professor Wolf during my very first semester and my very last semester, and I got a LOT more out of his class as a senior. He is an industry veteran that expects you to understand what he is talking about. I brushed him off as fast talking and crass as a freshman, but as a senior I found his tangents insightful and his advice meaningful.

Intro to marketing was very challenging but i feel like I learned so much. Prof Wolf is very sarcastic and tough but its up to you to make the best of it. Prof Wolf is a very knowledgeable in this field but does give off a strong and unapproachable vibe. But he encourages his students to go to his office hours or send him an email if there's any confusion on directions. His hws can feel really directionless but pushes you to really think about what you're writing which I helped me grow as a writer

I have taken Gary Wolf for four different courses including FM224, FM322, FM328 and FM424. I changed my schedule around just to take his courses. He is the nicest man and teacher I had at FIT. He cares a lot about his students. If you work hard and DO THE HW you'll be fine and he is always willing to help. This is a hard class and you want him.

I was really worried about taking this class with him because he can come off as harsh and the amount of reading is a bit overwhelming at the beginning. But, if you just plan week by week the course load isn't that bad and he's willing to curve the test grades when needed.

This was my first time taking his class and I loved him! If you participate in class then you'll have no problem in the class. He's super knowledgable about the industry and has office hours if you need him. His tests rely heavily on the lecture and the lectures are material heavy.

His global merch class is mega PROJECT HEAVY! Other than that if you pay attention and put effort into it, he will like you. He can be super sassy in an old man way which doesn't bother me. He asks kinda trick questions in class but he doesn't force you to answer. If you are not interested in learning don't take him. He is super knowledgeable.

We learn from the presentations given by other classmates & we discuss articles he assigns us to read & from his banter.Manageable work with good planning. Most assignments are quick 1.5 pages with 2 bigger weighted projects. A good class and easy good grade if you simply put in effort and creativity. Gary is a character though.

Professor Wolf is an overall great professor! The bigger assignments given in the course are all group projects with some simple short papers given throughout the semester. He is more of a tough grader but overall wants to see his students do well and does what he can to help you get a good grade!
