Zinn is everything a college professor should be. Class is just the right difficulty, and hes very helpful and nice. Uses beer for many econ examples which makes it funny and relevent to college life.

loved this class. this man made a subject difficult for me to understand EASY. he helped me out soo much and if you make the effort to go to his office and get help he is extra helpful. do the take home quizes and attend the are points in the end:)

THOSE STUPID CHARTS!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh this man loves charts, he is boring, but he does teach it well. YOu just have to study, he gives a quiz every now and then, but you know what is going to be on them word for word.

Easy class, gives bonus points, study guides, no exam(if you want). Knows the material. Only complaint would be that he is extremely boring and is not funny (but he tries to be, which is kind of funny in itself)

He is a great teacher and will take all the time he has to to make sure you understand something. All you have to do is ask the question!

he is has a great way of getting the matterial across to his students. the tests are a little difficult but the easy quizzes and homework problems make up for it. i would reccomend him to everybody!

Good teacher- gives examples students can relate to. Study the study guide & come to class & you'll do fine.

He's good guy, makes econ easy and explains the material well. Somehow he can always relate something to Beer which is helpful too.

Dr. Zinn is a great professor. Go to class to collect the extra credit points. Do every assignment, if you don't understand, go see him he will help you. Study the study guides because it is exactly what is on his test. Best ECON teacher at ECU.

Just go to class, pay attention and study for the test and you should get an A. Very good teacher explains things very well and is always well prepared.

Good Professor.Gives extra credit for just going to class.He takes attendance by handing out assignments that have been graded and the ones not picked up are absent.Econ is not easy so go to class and read if you want a good grade.

Class not bad, just prepare for one big project. Project not hard just time consuming. Go to class and he will help you if you need it. Good class to take, no final and extra credit

Good Teacher, he makes it very clear what you need to do and what you need to know. Class Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory as long as you keep up when tests and quizes are and go over study guides and you will be fine

Going to class is pretty much pointless bc he'll just ramble on about a graph for an hour, and it is VERY boring. However, before an exam he will post a study guide that spells out exactly what he's going to test on, and he's willing to help anyone if they just stop by his office.

Very reasonable teacher; willing to help when you need it; great teacher... i hate graphs so class was boring and hard to understand but still managed to get a B with the extra credit attendance; optional final too

He is very helpful and understanding. I recomend him to whomever is taking Microeconomics. Go to class and do your work and you will have no problems. Wonderful teacher.

Microeconomics is not my favorite subject in the world, but he makes learning economics tolerable. Extra credit is possible in many assignments that he gives, so he trys to make it possible for students to do well.

Dr. Zinn is a great professor. At first I thought that this was going to become the worst course I ever took but I made an A for the semester. Just see him during his office hours for additional help and he will give it to you. If you do that, you'll be fine.

easy going professor! EXCELLENT professor always willing to help! gotta take him but the class itself isnt easy deals with a lot of graphs and analyzing this and that... but if u need help zinn is there to help. extra credit for attendance... recommend him!

Boring class, not very easy dont take unless you have to

I had Dr. Zinn for both Econ 2133 and 2113. He is a great teacher, and he will do everything in his power to make sure you pass. I got an A in both classes

Dr. Zinn is wonderful. He will do everything in his power to make sure you pass the class, just show an interest in it and he will go all out to help you. There are no group projects, just homework assignments. Make sure you do all the assignments ahead of time so he can check it to make sure everything is correct, then turn it in. Somewhat easy.

Easy class if you actually go.If you like to skip class everyday then dont take this class,you will get lost. The only time he takes attendence is when he hands out grades from quizzes, tests, or homework problems (only like 5 hw prob all semester). He curves test grades and quiz grades and gives lots of extra credit.

Good teacher, but cant make econ interesting if ur not into it. Make sure to go to class when he hands stuff back. Having an optional final is awesome. Plenty of extra credit if ur smart nuff to notice it. You have to do work/read but Dr. Zinn is super helpful during office hours. One day grace periods on take home probs will save ur ass for sure.

Dr. Z lays it all out at the beginning of the semester. Everything in this class is easy and straight forward. He gives plenty of extra points, I made low B's on all three tests and got an A in the class. Very boring lectures but it is economics so that really can't be helped.

Dr. Zinn is a great teacher, he explains how the entire semester will go at the beginning so you know what to expect. His class is challenging but he is a good professor and if you go to class and pay attention you can get an A without a whole lot of work. I recommend him to anyone.

just go to class! try to pay attention. the book is key for learning alot of the material because this class in the am can be rough. homework problems are saviors! when he passes out papers, thats when he can tell if your in class or not since its a huge lecture hall.

Dr. Zinn is the most boring professor of all time. Its an easy class and he has no attendance policy. You will have to count ceiling tile to stay awake in class, if that tells you how exciting his class is.

I didn't find 2113 to be easy even though I did earn a "B" in the class. He does give you every opportunity to suceed with extra credit and attendance bonuses. Go to him for help if you need it and you WILL do well. He genuinely does care about his student's success. I went to him repeatedly for help, and he was always willing to answer my question

I took him for 2113 and earned a "B." I just finished 2133(Macroeconomics) under him and earned an "A." I think he is one of the best professors at ECU because he takes the time meet with students outside of class to answer/clarify questions. He really does care about his students as long as you are willing to work hard for a decent grade.

Just finished this class and got an "A". Dr.Zinn knows his stuff and his office is always open to students who need help. Make sure you attend class, attendance points are very important. His exams were brutal so make sure you study. I would highly recommend Dr. Zinn.

Great teacher I had him 4 times for 4 different classes. You will really learn this stuff in his class. If you don't do good in Dr. Zinns class your just to doggone lazy.You will work in the upper level classes he teaches.

a very good prefessor, i recommend for econ 2113, the final is optional, the test and quiz are not hard

Dr. Zinn is a good teacher. He trys using a sense of humor sometimes to keep the class interested. The class material is challenging, but he makes it easier with his lectures, graphs, and real life examples. He gives 5 quizes, 5 take home problems, 3 exams. A lot of work- but if you do bad on one thing- you can make it up with another.

Dr. Zinn is amazing. The subject matter was mundane and boring, but he can't help that. Extremely helpful and does everything to help you succeed in his class.

Dr. Zinn is a good teacher, he will work with as long as you put forth an effort in his class. His test are multiple choice, he also gives quizes along with take home problems. I would recommend Dr. Zinn. If you do your work you shouldn't have any problem.

prof. zinn is a great teacher and he really cares about his student if you just do the take home prob. and do pretty good on the quiz's then you should have a descent grade o yea he has horrific hand writing and he says that attendece is mandatory i missed a bunch of days and he had me only missing 3 and i had an A- he is great!!

All you need to do to get an A is to attend class and ask questions if you need to but most of the time his assignments are pretty self explanitory.

Attendance is not mandatory- he doesnt check it every day,but when he passes back quizzes,tests,or take home problems and you dont pick yours up,he marks you absent(he does take attendance that way and that does count as a grade).His tests are hard and his class averages are not good-lots of C's and D's,and he is supposedly the best econ teacher.

teaches very very slow, which is great because it is hard to fall behind. goes over detailed notes, basically gives you the answers for his take home problems, the quizes are easy, and if you stupid the tests arent too too bad. i recommend him. i am taking micro and macro with him and loving it

He wasnt bad..you had to buy the book and aplia online for $30. The tests we're really hard but he curves them alot. Some of the online quizzes are tough but if you go to his office before its due he will work through every problem with you. Gives attendance bonuses, especially when no one shows up, and gives you extra points in the end

Dr. Zinn was a very good teacher. aplia quizzes are kinda tough, but if you go to his office hours before its do he will walk u through each question and almost do it for you...tests are hard but he gives the craziest curves ever, on one test a 43 was a C, periodic attendance and bonus points at the end, always available to help TAKE DR ZINN

Dr. Zinn is probably the best professor at ECU to teach Macroeconomics. Go to class and if you get credit for all the days you get attendance you get bonus points at the end. Though the material is dry and I had no interest in it, Dr. Zinn provided lots of opportunity for help. Go to his office hours for help on Aplia! You won't regret it!

Tests are very hard, but he does curve tests & homework when needed. His lectures are boring, but they do help if you go to class. There's weekly online homework, occasional attendance & 4-5 exams. I would take Dr. Zinn again, he is very helpful (if you take advantage of office hrs he will basically tell you the homework answers)
