awesome teacher. i loved her class. stay when she gives you time to do the homework b/c you will learn the material so much better and if she knows you better it makes the tests a little easier.

She is very helpful and makes a point to let her students ask questions and to come by and see her if they need help. Make sure not to miss class and write down as much of what she sees as you can.

Shes great! It really helps to chat with her and be interactive with her then she will really like you! I recommend her to anyone, shes kinda goofy.

Highly recommend!! 30 minute lect, she lessens hw problems, gives rest of class time to leave or do hw w/MUCH help! not intimidating at all! Lets you know if you will really need to know it or if you can just blow off the type of problem. your in and out

She is very clear and helpful. If you do the study problems and understand material, tests are easy. She gives plenty of class time to do homework and releases class after she is finished lecturing. Going to class is always worth it.

This professor is awesome! She lectures for about 30 mins. But that's all you need! I would definetly recommend her! I hate math, but this class is so tolerable because she is the professor!!

Best math teacher I've ever had! Lec. about 30 min. and lets you go. She is clear and will answer any ?'s. Tests are short and easy. Doesn't collect homework everyday--when she does its 1 problem. Helpful and I recomend attending class!

She explains lessons really well. I sucked at math before this class and now I actually understand. She assings homework, but rarely collects it and tells you before if she is going to. I would reccomend her to anyone.

This is the best math teacher ever. I've been really good with math in the past, but she stives to make everyone understand what is going on. I HIGHLY reccomend her to any student. Her class never runs past 30-40 min. Do homework and you're fine for the tests.

She is a great professor! She is always willing to help you out and offers extra credit. Tests are short and not too difficult. Class is always out early. If you need to take MTH 135 make sure you sign up for her class!

Easy semester. Doesn't do much teaching, rather works through examples of the types of problems that are in the homework. Classes are short, tests not bad and allows you to add points by making test corrections. Easy but I felt unprepared for the final even after I went through the review.

She is one of my fav. teachers. She knows her stuff and knows how to make her students understand the material. She is always there to help if you have ?s and understands that math can be a difficult subject to master. Lots of point possibilities and tests are not too bad.

She explains everything very well, and consicely so your time isn't wasted. She answers questions and gives opportunities for extra credit. Good sense of humor, you'll think she's really sweet by the end of the semester.

She gives you examples on each kind of homework problem you will have and explains everything very well. Answers all questions and you are never in class the whole time. I suck at math and I got an A on the first test. Class average on it was a B. Take her, she's awesome.

She is an extremely easy teacher. Keep up with the homework and go to class for the 10 point quizzes. If you do that, the tests are a breeze (and really short).

I took this class my first semester with Gann and failed it! Ellis was very clear and understandable! Even though I failed the final, I ended up with a B in her class!! Take her if you can, she's Amazing!!

Greatest teacher I have ever had. Gives an example for every problem you will encounter on homework and so forth. Leaves you feeling very prepared and if you aren't, she'll help you more.

Such an EASY CLASS!! She gives you the study guides for the tests, and they are identical! Dont have to do the homework. Just study a bit before the test and your gauranteed an A. Plus, she gives out a bunch of extra credit.

She was very easy, laidback, not that hard, you really didnt have to do the homework. She never really kept us to the end, almost always got out early. She gave you quizes without telling you and you could use your notes. Liked very well, favorite math teacher yet!

Best Teacher and Best Class. This is the math class that you have always wanted. You are there for approx. 30 min everyday. NO HOMEWORK. Tests are very similar examples from your notes! I had a 102.4 in this class and im a regular student. If you do bad in this class, you suck at math.

Ms. Ellis was a great teacher. She gave examples for every type of problem we would encounter and she also gave out great test review guides (they were the tests from the past few years). She was always willing to answer questions. We were always done early too.

She was a very good teacher and explained everything in a way that everyone could understand. Also she was always willing to help you if you needed it.

If you struggle with math, make sure to take Mrs. Ellis. She makes the class very easy to make it through. Although, I am a horrible math student, I still did well.

Very helpful and good teacher all around. Tests are very easy if you study and she reviews with tests from previous semesters- they are just like the exam you'll take. She's a pretty cool person as well!

She is a very easy teacher. She gives you plenty of review for the tests, and if you study those you will do fine. The final is comprehensive, so that kind of sucks, but all in all she is a great teacher and points are easy to get. Take her!!!

She's really straight forward. Go to class ... do the worksheets, take your tests. The homework isn't turned in, so I never did any of it .... She's easy to understand and follow.

I highly recommend this professor. She teaches only what you need. Go to class, do the quizzes (you can get help from classmates) and you will have the information to do well on each test. She is the best math professor I have ever had.

She's a good teacher, and makes the material easy. Bookwork is assigned every night but not collected, it's just to help. There are daily "quizzes" over yesterday's lesson but you can collaborate with other students and with the professor. I'm alright at math so I never attend and I miss the quizzes but study for the tests and I have an A...

Dr. Ellis has a very no nonsense style of teaching that is easy to understand and is very willing to help in the case that you don't. Homework is not usually graded, but the handouts are. It had been 20 years since my last math class and she made it seem like it had only been months. I highly recommend her if math gives you problems.

I never did any homework, but probably should have, and got an A. She taught well and was willing to help if you asked for it. A very smart teacher that definitely knows what she is talking about. Quite a few in-class assignments/quizzes so I didn't miss often. Also gives some assignments for EC occasionally.

AWESOME TEACHER! I HATED MATH UNTIL THIS CLASS! She makes everything very understandable. Do the homework, go get help from the lab and you WILL have an A. She always has enough time to give students help in class. Doesnt confuse students! Often lets students leave early and learn from each other. TAKE HER! STUDY! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Mrs. Ellis is an awesome teacher. Most classes last 25 minutes, she gives a quiz for easy points after almost every class, it's an easy A. Just make sure to show up everyday and do the reviews. I highly recommend taking her.

GREAT TEACHER!! I am awful at anything math related...I still add on my calculator if that tells you anything, but she's very helpful and provides any extra help needed!

I loved Ms. Ellis! She was so laid back and helpful and she gave us alot of bonus points. You should go to class everyday to pick up or turn in homework. We didn't have a textbook but just used an online program called Math XL. She is my favorite teacher so far!

We did not actually have a textbook because everything was online through MathXL, so "textbook use" rating refers to how often we did assignments online.

I never been good at math before, no matter how hard I tried. Ellis was extremely good at breaking down problems and spelling it out so anyone could understand. She's very intelligent and really nice! I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who struggle with math. I would definitely take this teacher again.

Math is my minor, and I thought this class was a breeze. If you attend class, pay attention and do your homework, you should be fine. She does plenty of examples and answer whatever questions you may have in class. Her test questions are like the homework questions, so if you do homework, you should get a very decent grade on her test.

She is a great teacher. She makes sure you get a great amount of practice before tests, and she helps you out as much as possible. However, I don't know if its just because College Algebra is not my thing, but she seems a bit fast. You might want to sit on near the middle of the class so you can see all that she writes.

Always knows what she's talking about. If you go to class, write down her notes, and do the quizes (which you get to do together, and with those notes) you'll end up with an A and out of class early everyday.

She is really nice and the class is fairly easy as long as you take notes, study and do the homework. Thereare quizzes but you get to use your notes and each other. I suggest taking her

She is really nice. She writes all the notes on the board. She gives you an example of every kind of problem that you will see in your homework. All you have to do is copy them. Then you can use them to do your homework. The quizzes and tests aren't that bad either.
