Honestly, it was a fairly easy class. I only got a B because I skipped a few classes in the middle of the semester and pretty much bombed a test, but that was my fault. Sister Strathearn is such a cool lady, and I learned a lot about the Old Testament.

Easiest classes at BYU. I have had her for 5 classes. Her reading is light and super easy. Just pay attention to minor details in the reading because she will have an online quiz every week that will cover the reading. Her tests are the EASIEST tests I have had at BYU. Her study guides are exactly what she tests. She is kinda mean though.

AVOID: it felt more like a biblical history class than a religion class. She gives more reading than I've ever had in a religion class, then gives impossible weekly quizzes asking for minuscule details. The tests are also ridiculously tricky - harder than any of my other classes. You can study your butt off and get a C.

Sister Strathearn is a baller. She knows an incredible amount and will make you read the scriptures in a way you never have before. She's the best I've seen at making the subject both academically enlightening and spiritually uplifting. It's not the easy A some religion classes are, but follow the study guides and it's very doable to do well.
