This is an easy class and she is an easy grader.

Tough, but fair. I went to class, I did the work, and I got an A.

I wrote an excellent review about this professor several weeks ago and this site removed it without ANY explanation. If this site is only interested in hearing negative feedback about professors than this site should be shut down before it destroys the careers of these professors. If you delete a remark then give a reason!

Prof. DeLong is one of the best professors at Baruch. I learned many practical things in her class such as making presentations and networking. She's great!

She's well-organized and knowledgable. As long as you go to class, there are no surprises on the exams.

Wasn't realy interested in international finance before I took this course, but professor Delong really made it interesting. exams cover stuff from class, no surprises.

Borning. Teaches off her PP slides. The material is rather straightforward and exams are not that hard provided to pay attention to examples she makes in class ( which is difficult to do because she is boring). However, her grading is something absolutely odd. She definitely favors guys over girls, not very responsive and takes points for nothing

Found the class helpful in a lot of ways, espcially in my summer internship. Was really glad to have gone through so much international stuff that turned out useful on the job. This is a great course, and good prof, for anyone interested in international finance.

She is one of the best professor in Baruch. Fin 4920 is boring class but she tries to make it exciting.If you follow her instructions you will do well.

Absolutely wonderful professor. Extremely humble, soft spoken, nice and respectful. I seriously don't think there is an easier professor in the Finance department. No attendance required. 2 exams 25% each (very easy), 1 presentation 20% (nearly everyone is getting 20/20 on it), 1 page report on someone else's presentation(20%). HIGHLY reccomended.

Professor Delong is the nicest professor in the finance department. She's very kind and tries her hardest for you to learn international corporate finance. She's a very fair grader and she does try to help you do well in her class. Definately recommended.

Wonderful teacher!! Very clear and easy to understand. YOu do a lot of work and exams, but she is helpful. Anyone can do well in her class.

She is one of the most generous professor in Baruch. She is very eloquent, exams are easy, she goes over the homework and provides any kind of help that are asked. 2 exmas, t/f (10q) 2 math problems and a presentation. An easy A for those who will work.

She is one of the best professor that I've had at Baruch. She does not overload with exams and other useless assignments. There's only midterm, Final, Memo and a short presentation. If you go to class and pay attention, it is highly likely that you'll get an A. Take this professor you won't be disappointed.

Awesome professor. Midterm was a little bit more technical and you had to learn how to maneuver currencies. Final was strictly based on articles she assigned from several sources. Essay based exams. No trick questions. No attendance. Easiest 4000 Level finance professor, yet you still learn a lot. Save yourself from unneeded stress and take her!

Professor DeLong is the best professor at Baruch hands down. She's one of the nicest most caring professors or people you'll ever meet. Great professor in terms of workload and stress. If you are interested in the subject, read the textbook. I found it very helpful. She is easy if you do the work and have an interest in the subject. Good thing I had both. Wish the class was a little more fast paced though, but that is just not her style.

She is the best!! This class is about real world and how we as a students need to know about what's happening out there. Textbook is so helpful since she does not go in depth in certain topics. 2 exams, memo, short presentations and you're done! She is very sweet and will make our lives easier! Great Professor! Brings the MNCs that are scattered all over the world into a classroom. She does it through great articles from different prominant financial news papers. One simply cannot get more real life than that. For technical side of the course, she uses material from the book. Well worth your time and energy. Highly Recommended.

She is the sweetest lady. Really cares about students and teaches with passion. 1 fair final (covers only 6 chapters & 25 short articles, short responses), 2 brief 2 pg memos, 1 easy HW assignment & a fun group presentation. Attendance isn't mandatory. Book needed. She has a lot of real life experience and will answer questions after class.

First of all, she is just a nice person. Secondly, sometimes she gets confused, but it's OK. Her class basically lets you understand the fundamentals and some intermediate things that happen everyday in Finance on an international level. Be sure to understand the exchange rate of currency back and forth. There will be writing, and presenting.

She makes the topic very interesting. 2 exams and 1 presentation. Make sure you participate because she'll curve your grade. She also gives an extra credit for 5 points. If you read the chapters and do the homework you'll be do good. Midterm was easy but the final was tricky. Read the questions on the final VERY CAREFULLY. I liked her!

she's very sweet and nice, wouldn't hurt a fly. i dislike how she puts questions about the articles on the exam, since they are made up by the students in the class. if u think this class is hard then ur not good at school, since this is one of the easiest finance classes i've taken. it's a challenging class, but if u read textbook u can get an A

The best professor, Connect hw 10%, 5 min presentation 20%, 1 midterm 25%, final 35%, participation 10%. If you pay attention in class and listen to other presentation its an easy B+, she cares about her students and wants everyone to have a chance to do well.

If you've taken FIN 4910, the first 1/3 of class will be very familiar. The class discussion are pretty lively; she even addresses her "controversial" stances--google her if you care to know. The last test was almost entirely based on articles and student presentations of those articles.

Overall a decent professor. Dont use your phone in class, she goes a little overboard trying to catch you with that. pretty fair with the presentation grades and study the practice midterms and the finals well, the tests are heavily based off them . The connect hw questions are also on the test lots of times

Professor DeLong is a very sweet professor. She really cares about the student's success and hates to fail students (unless they deserve it) Make sure you understand the main points of the articles for both the mid-term/final. HW answers are online, presentation is easy, attendance is a must. Articles, lectures, and homework is pretty much the exam

Professor DeLong has real experience in the International financial sector. She is passionate about the subject and really cares about her students. I would totally recommend as the course is very well organized and manageable.

Prof. Delong's class was well structured. The quizzes were relatively simple if you watched the lectures. Was in her asynchronous class but it wasn't a mess. Presentations were also simple. The 2 memo assignments were a bit much but you can knock them out. Overall, a lovely professor who knows her stuff. Would recommend!

She is so passionate about the international financial sector and gives us real-life situations. Two memos and one presentation based on news articles were very simple. Highly recommend!!

Do not listen to the few negative reviews. Professor Delong is really sweet and explains everything in great detail that is easy to understand. She is also very approachable. I would highly recommend.

A total of 7 quizzes, one each week. There are 10 questions for each quiz and all of them are multiple choice. Just go over the readings and videos!! An easy A!
