best teacher you could ask for

Literally one of the easiest classes I had this semester. She is super nice and caring and just wants all of us to pass. There are only 2 major papers that I wrote in this class, everything else was little journal analyses.

Phenomenal professor. So kind and caring, very understanding! She loves what she does and you can tell! 100/10 recommend!!! And I hate literature and English but she was great! A gem !

Professor Walsh is an excellent professor as she provides great, useful feedback to her students and gives out extra credit points! Her assignments are not difficult, however, be prepared to read from the textbook as most of the homework is based on it. I am hoping to have her as a professor again as she is kind, sweet, and patient.

She is really nice and understandable. Some days she might let you read a book and in some classes, you watch some youtube videos to learn the topics. Nothing in this class was that complicated or hard.

This is my second english class (1101 & 1102) that I have taken with professor Walsh and if she taught every class I would sign up for her each time. She is what every professor should strive to be like. She is very understanding, funny, and inspiring. She does not give busy work, grades with compassion and gives plenty of EC. TAKE HER!!!!

Nothing too complicated about her class, just make sure you have good time management as there was a lot due in the accelerated class. Really sweet, you can tell she really cares about her students and her teaching.

This class was very truly easy and I don't even like poetry but she was an amazing teacher, if you are taking this class though you have to remember the due dates and make sure you have a good schedule to get everything done, other than that I would definitely take it again! :)

This is a great professor. She's very articulate, warm, and understanding. Whenever you have a problem, you can count on her. As for her work, it's pretty easy and simple. The essays aren't elaborate nor lengthy. They're easy and straightforward. I even signed up for her lit class next semester!

She is honestly THE best teacher I have taken at Palm Beach State. She really cares about her students and the material that she is teaching and it shows. She had us analyze poetry, a Shakespearean work, and Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers book for non-fiction. While there were a lot of details in writing papers for each, she was very supportive with her feedback and answered any questions we had to understand the material better and/or understand what she wanted from us in the assignments. 2 thumbs up!

Professor Walsh is awesome! She tries to breakdown our assignments (which were easy) in order to avoid confusion and also offered her assistance when we needed it. I loved learning about different poems, plays, and non-fiction works with her. She's also very caring and understanding towards her students and that made our learning experience better!

Professor Walsh is an amazing professor and her ENC1101 course was relatively simple. Although I was online, Professor Walsh provided a number of videos to explain assignments. Most of the coursework were notes, discussions, and there were 4 essays. Professor Walsh also gives numerous extra credit opportunities making it easy to succeed.

Professor Walsh gives very helpful feedback and additional sources relating to the course content. After completing her ENC 1101 course, I made sure to register for her ENC 1102 course; I strongly suggest others to take her courses.

This class was the best English class Ive taken so far, because of this prof. Shes an easy grader as long as you follow instructions, she only has 3 papers due. She gives a lot of extra credit. The works are really easy as long as you take the time to read the book wick is less than an hour. Awesome prof. I would definitely take her again.

I honestly hate writing I am a math girl all day, but this was one of my favorite classes overall. I had surgery and she gave me extra time on one of my papers. I had a great time in this class. When a student needs assistance, the teacher is very sympathetic and keeps in touch with them frequently. She doesn't make you work in circles or do tasks that won't be useful to you in the future; instead, she gets right to the point of what has to be learned.

The required reading for each module was not too difficult. The work load was very reasonable and spaced out. Only four papers were required and there were few restraints, so any aspect of the literature being analyzed could be explored in the papers. If you're looking for an amazing professor, THIS IS THE ONE. She is so kind and listens to all of her students. The work is not anything crazy; there is notes, a few papers, and discussion boards. I've taken Prof. Walsh twice and probably should have done it a third time. The material is very straightforward and simple. That being said, prepare to write a lot in this class. There are many writing assignments but don't worry as long as you follow the directions you will pass.

Professor Walsh was a very easy English professor and was extremely lenient on due dates as long as you weren't taking too much advantage of that.

I would take this class again 100%. She provides clear instruction on how to do the assignments. It is a couple papers and most the assignments are taking notes. She says that there is a textbook but it is not required. When she assigns notes she provides links to websites as an alternative to using the textbook.

She did take a while to grade a few assignments, especially the larger papers, but once each assignment was graded, the feedback left clearly explained why there were marks off and how to fix them in the future. She was the best English teacher I've ever had. Her detailed feedback on assignments helped improve my writing significantly. While the workload might initially seem overwhelming, it's manageable with effort. Writing is a lifelong skill, and her guidance ensures success. If I could, I'd retake her class without hesitation!

Great teacher, She is very understanding and responds to emails fast if you need any help. Doesn't give a lot of work just one or two assignments a week which is doable.

Walsh is a great teacher who offers very supportive and encouraging feedback on assignments. Responds to emails quickly and is helpful to communicate with. She is also lenient when it comes to deadlines, for example, students being affected by a hurricane. Despite her assignments often not being worded clearly, you can still reach out for help.

Professor Walsh is an excellent teacher, she cares about all her students, gives amazing feedback on every assignment, responds quickly and explains everything clear.

She was a fantastic teacher not a lot of coursework that needed to be done outside of class. She was also very understanding when it comes to turning papers in if things come up.

Professor Walsh was the best choice for an online class mode. She made the assignments very clear and nothing complicated. No midterm or final exams she gives genuine feedback, she's caring. Only 3 papers to write and all assignments are open with a lot of resources for students to use and facilitate the assignments that are easy to do and learn.

She takes a little while to grade, but it's because she gives solid feedback that helps you get better. You'll be fine in her class as long as you stay on top of things!

Professor Walsh is the BEST. She's so sweet and caring, and even if you do an assignment wrong, she will still give you credit. I have nothing bad to say about her. She is the best, and her class is SO easy. I took ENC1102 as well, and it was also the easiest class ever. TAKE HER!!!!

She is a great professor! The workload is pretty moderate, but she provides great feedback on your assignments. There is 3 papers, and notes to take for every couple of chapters. Overall she grades very fairly and offers a couple of assignments for extra credit. There is one required textbook for the class.

Professor Walsh was very kind and understanding! I was always able to get my work done a week prior. However, she was always willing to give extra time or answer questions if anyone was struggling. I would only say her wording on assignments could be unclear at times. But if there was a misunderstanding she was willing to do her best.

The overall rating for Professor Walsh speaks for itself. On my course evaluation I emphasized her being The BEST professor that I have taken thus far!! What to look forward to- 4 discussions post, textbook notes, about two separate papers, and extra credit. Very understanding with late work. She also gives Individualize feedback on assignments.

Easy class as long as you keep up with the work. There are a few papers that are 2-4 pages long, but shes not a tough grader. Gives helpful feedback on all assignments.

Easy to pass as long as you do the assignments

This class was super easy especially when I compare it to my friends and what they had to do for English. There were only 3 papers in the whole semester and the rest of the assignments were easy like notes. You can tell Professor Walsh cares about her students and her feedback is so generous.

Professor Walsh is amazing! So respectful, thoughtful, and encouraging. If there are any questions or concerns, just ask and she will do her best to answer. The class load is is heavier in the beginning of the semester and lightens up towards the end.

AMAZING teacher and SO easy!!! I passed the class with an A+ and really didn't have to put much thought into it. The assignment wording can be a little tricky, but ultimately easy and she pretty much takes whatever as long as you try.

Great Professor, her class is very easy, and not too much work. Most of the assignments are notes from the textbook, the essays, and the discussions. There were 3 modules and then the final.

Professor Walsh's assignments are well organized, with note-taking assignments and 3 research papers. Provides very well feedback and due dates so that assignments can be done ahead of time. 100% recommended!

Very easy class, amazing professor. I've turned in late work maybe 2-3 times and she's never penalized me for it. Couple of books, poems, and plays to read but if you enjoy literature, you'll be fine. Please take her!

This professor was amazing it's my last semester I had her 4 years ago for English 1 then I came back and take her again for 1102 … She gives great feedback on essay and actually cares about her students along with many opportunities for extra credit

This was a hybrid class. Professor Walsh was terrific. She was very responsive to questions, and sent out several very helpful links for creating essays and MLA citing. She cares about her students and really wants them to succeed and it shows. I loved her class so much that I tried to take ENC 1102 with her too, but she wasn't available.

Professor Walsh's course is well organized, assignments are clear, and the criteria are defined. Consisted of 4 discussions, 3-4 papers, and weekly assignments with plenty of time to work on. Walsh clearly cares for her students and gives good feedback on all assignments. Only issue was that she never emailed me back, but this course was a breeze.

One of the best profs I've had. Her class consists of maybe 2-3 or even just 1 assignment per week. She does do discussions about 40 words, and you do have to respond to 2 peers. Not bad though at all they were all easy. Yes, there are essays, but they are SO easy. Overall, the class is easy. TAKE HER FOR ALL ENGLISH COURSES

I was nervous taking my first writing college class, but she made this experience very enjoyable. She is the best, very sweet & is very passionate about what she teaches. There is a good amount of writing as it is a writing class, but I honestly expected it to be worse. It was not bad at all. I would take her for every writing class if I could :)

I took Professor Walsh's English 2 online class. The class was very simple and easy to understand. She links a lot of good resources and gives plenty of time before a paper is due. there are only 4 modules with easy assignments if you learn the concept. They're interesting to learn too though. Easy A if you do what's needed.

As long as you stay on top of your assignments, you should definitely succeed in Professor Walsh's class! I took her Express A course online and Chapter notes and an essay on the Chapter would be due just about every week but it's super simple :) I plan on taking ENC1102 with her next semester

The class is easy so long as you stay on top of things. She is very sweet and understanding. Textbook is required and is used. She also has a lot of resources for you both inside and outside of class.

Honestly, this was the best online class I've ever taken. It was extremely easy, and technically, there is a textbook you have to buy, but you can go on ChatGPT and ask it to pull up specific chapters. She actually comments on assignments which is nice for feedback and also it is a work until youre done type of class so i worked far ahead. TAKE HER

She gives amazing feedback on every assignment. She actually reads what you submit. The are 3 papers and a few more smaller writing assignments such as discussion posts etc.

She is a great professor. Just be ready to write some papers and discussion posts, but other than that, we don't have any actual exams. She is also very helpful and gives very good feedback on the assignments, and doesn't grade harshly as long as you actually try your best, and is a great writer.

Prof. Walsh is very caring and enthusiastic. There's no final exam but she does have extra credit that is towards the end of the semester. Your writing many papers and a few discussion posts which isn't bad! Overall super helpful and reliable when it comes to feedback and answering your questions.

Professor Walsh is a great professor. She teaches hybrid classes, which is great for people who don't like attending classes all the time. She actually doesn't give many assignments throughout the semester. She accepts late work and is very understanding as long as there is communication. If you fail her class, it's likely due to your own actions.
