I took two semesters of psychology with her back in 2006 and I still remember a lot of the stuff she taught us. I took notes in class and read the book, so I didn't find her tests difficult at all--although they were definitely comprehensive. The course covered a very good area and got me ready for the upper level psych courses at my university.

I see why she can be viewed as firm or intimidating to some, but she's actually a very caring, witty, and vibrant person, and that really shows in her lectures! Very lecture heavy & lots of textbook use. Grading criteria, assignments, and due dates clearly stated. You have to work hard in this class--not an "easy A"! Really enjoyed coming to class

Very fast paced person, which I found hard to follow. Lectures based off PowerPoints but they just have a few points and mostly lectures from her memory which makes note-taking hard given how fast she goes. I pretty much took my own notes from the textbook outside of class. Tests are way too long for the time periods given.

Professor Britt has an admittedly difficult class. If you don't show up or, in the case of online class, put in effort throughout the week you will struggle to get a good grade. Each time I picked her class I only passed with a B, but mainly due to me not trying my hardest. Still, Professor Britt is very caring and helpful and I would recommend.

I first was introduced to Dr. Britt last semester. Her class was across from my sociology class and I was more interested in her lecture than my own class'. I'm glad I got to have a very relative guide into the mind-state of people and the medical approaches as well.

I personally did not like the format of her presentation slides, but teaching wise she was amazing and fully explained in great detail during lectures. Study-guides were not provided prior to the exam which was a downfall. Make sure you read the textbook and stay along with the lectures in order to succeed. Also, this class is writing intensive.

I can not stress this enough, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. She is unclear in her instructions, and will not give you an A no matter how hard you try on anything. Maybe she is better in person, but just do yourself a favor and take a different professor!! I am a straight A student, and I am currently barely holding on to my C in this class!!!

Absolutely the worst professor I have ever had. I have never gotten a grade below a B but it's impossible for her to give you anything above a C, the average final essay grade was a 57 for the entire class and a 59 for the midterm exam... she doesn't give study guides. If I could go back in time and not take this class I would.

Overall this was a very fun and enjoyable class. I will admit it is a lot of reading, and having solid time management will make your life easier. However, she is a good professor with just the right amount of energy in her lectures to keep students interested. As long as you keep up you'll be more than fine. I even had spare time to relax.

Professor Britt goes above and beyond to provide plenty of resources and feedback to students. She truly cares about her student's success and therefore will not just give an A for effort but rather She provides plenty of constructive criticism to help you improve. She also has a quick response time even outside class hours!

With Dr. Britt, what you see is what you get. She was straightforward about her testing style, each test was multiple choice & questions were pulled from the learning objectives. Her lectures are crucial because she gives you tips on how to remember all the info. Emails back fast and thoroughly answers questions. Includes fun/engaging activities.

She does not teach. She relies on the textbook 100% so if you aren't good at textbook reading don't take her class. Also, she will not give you an A whatsoever. Nice Lady, but too tough of a teacher. If you're looking to actually learn and pass the class, choose another professor.

Professor Britt's course is test/paper heavy, but if you keep up with the notes & due dates, it's okay & interesting. She is very respectful & understanding that we have lives & will help you out when she can. I recommend Professor Britt, as long as you're a student willing to put in the time and effort for a fast-paced and strictly graded course.

Dr. Britt has a great personality and she's very nice, however the structure of her class is very difficult. It's relying on the textbook, but the tests are very hard, and the study guides (objectives) do not help. Also, on her assignments, her perspective of what the answer should be is the only correct answer. I took this class twice.

This professor was very nice, but her syllabus rules were a little ridiculous. For example, you cannot turn in any late assignments or you get a zero on the whole thing. As well as, the rule of having no excused absence for a test even if it is a family situation. I think that is quite unfair especially for people with sick grandparents.

I ultimately chose to take this class as asynchronous due to my busy schedule, but I never felt a lack of attention or instruction. Dr. Britt was my advisor and professor at Brightpoint. She was so kind, funny, understanding, and showed each student that she cared. I worked at the ARC in midlo and whenever she was there, we would chat about findings in the textbook and new things I learned. She was a great listener, and she gave such good advice. Highly recommend her.
