Genevieve is an awesome teacher. she is very young and its only her 3rd semester teaching, but she is great. she relates to her students and explains things very thoroughly and has lots of overheads for visual learners. i would definately recommend any1

Gen is a great and fun teacher, she captures your attention, and can hold for the whole class time. I leaned so much in her class, that I now apply it to my daily living. I wish the PSY 210 evening class was not canceled. She made psychology very interesting.

Genevive is a great teacher. Her lectures are complete and are directly from the test. There is no guessing about what is going to be on the test. Only a few VERY SIMPLE writing assignments. She has a great personality and makes the class fun. I thoroughly enjoyed her class. Highly recommended.

I was doing a million things at once such as the class, High School, and a Musical, but got a C, she's awsome, open and when you go to the topic of Seaman, ask if it tastes like Chocolate Chip Cookies because it makes her laugh. Easy class

Very pleasant instructor who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her subject. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and wish she taught more classes. She explained the material very well and provided excellent test reviews. She offered extra help before and after class for those who needed it. The class was easy, but I learned a lot from it.

The most laidback and chill teacher i've had. She really made the class fun and easy. Do the work, show up to class, study, give it ur all, and its a straight road to an A grade. Her lectures are really clear and captivating. you learn a lot and still have fun. I got an A. really easy to talk to and get along with. keep her cool, dont make her mad.

This was my first college teacher and she was a great teacher. I learned a lot through her notes and lecture. This teacher really knows her materials. Human Sexuality- She covers it very well. Text book is used significantly, so make sure to get it fast or you'll be playing a lot of catch up. Gen is the BEST!!! She is truly dedicated to the success of her students. If she says "hint, hint" write it down because it WILL be on the test. You are VERY prepared for tests and gives points for in-class assignments. She is fun and energetic and you will LOVE her class! GEN ROCKS!

Easy, tells you exactly what you need to know and cues you to write it down. Don't expect to walk away with a deep understanding of the material. Incredibly friendly, personable, wants you to do well. Definitely comes off as being "on your side."

Very nice, not the smartest cookie, but her being hot makes up for it. Ask for a study guide, and she'll basically run down what's on the test. Study 3 hours the night before the test and you'll be fine.

Great professor. I definitely recommend her. Just take notes during class and study and you'll be fine. You will have a couple of essays that need to be 7 - 9 pages, but at least they are double-spaced. And she's young and attractive. So take one of her classes!

She was a really nice professor very passionata baout her students. She is young i would say around her late 20's. She knows how everybody cheats so dont cheat she says "been there done that". 5 tests and one group paper but she changes that around every semester so she may make it individually its an 8 page paper. Got a B on the class.

She is great at explaining all of the detailed processes/terms and had a lot of great vidoes to show. This was my first college class and she made me want to learn more! If you take decent notes, do the assignments completely, and write down everything she tells you to review and actually review it there is no reason you can't get an A. She goes through test reviews quick though, so I'd recommend bringing a laptop make sure you get everything.

I took her summer class and I enjoyed every minute of it! Her exams are very straight forward and all multiple choice. The review sessions are super helpful because she tells you exactly what's on the exam, so no surprises or whatsoever. I absolutely loved this class and I highly recommend taking psychology with her :)

This is not an easy class. Stay on top of things. Take lots of notes. Don't be late. She's strict with those things. But Gen is also relaxed in her presentation and her classroom atmosphere (she goes barefoot every so often). Nice to look at. Cool class, all in all.

Excellent instructor. Wants students to succeed and provides overall study guides to assist for upcoming exams. Great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable on each topic discussed in class. No group assignments but 3 individual assignments taken from the textbook (buy it, you'll need it). Would highly recommend her class!!!

Gen is by far the best professor I've had in college! She is very helpful and tries her best to ensure students are understanding the material. She also tries to leave time to review before each test. I took both of her summer classes and enjoyed the entire 6wks of them. I am so glad I took her classes! Gen is tough but awesome. She will work with you to get the grade you want, but you MUST make the EFFORT! You want A's on her exam's be at her REVIEWS! Participate, take notes, do the homework& Extra Credit. She does go off on tangents but it's related to class and she doesn't mind your input. You will need the text, and a good attitude.

It will be easier for you if you take a psychology class before this one. She makes it so easy to understand. She is by far the best instructor, she prepares you for your exams so there aren't any surprises.Just make sure you go to class every day and understand the concepts. She offers extra credit so there's no way you can fail her class

She is the best teacher I've taken a class with at Palomar. She is early to class, she is nice, approachable and very intelligent. The tests are difficult, but if you pay attention in class and read the chapters you should be fine.

I took Psych100 twice w/Genevieve Griffin. She's a good teacher who knows what she's teaching. Tips for her future students is to turn stuff in on time,do whatever it takes to pass her tests, don't get her ticked off. She cares about her students. If you ever have any problems, talk to her. If she ever tells you, to retake it with her, do it.

Awesome teacher! Had a really great semester with her. She is really funny and gives interesting lectures. She cares a lot about her students and the tests are easy if you study the notes. Getting the textbook is important because you will use it. We had 3 tests and a final, not too bad. No formal essays just outlines and reaction papers.

Literally the best psyc professor I've ever had! Her lectures aren't that long and they're really interesting. Her tests are super easy because during review she will tell you exactly what to study. She puts all of her power points online so if you miss a class it's not a big deal. Also she's super nice and helpful.

She's so engaging, she's really lenient. She gives great examples during lectures. Textbook wasn't really necessary unless you want some supplemental reading, but her powerpoints cover the exam questions. Final was open notebook. She had 3 major papers that were basically covering what we learned in the powerpoints. Not bad! Would take her again!

One of thee best teachers at Palomar. Shes relate-able to students and does a great job at giving example to understand the material. I suggest taking her for your classes as a psych major. She is very approachable and is a great class.

Definitely my favorite Psyc prof. to date. She has great lectures, tells you EXACTLY what she wants for the exam, is very easy going and was just a pleasure to have for a prof. I wish I could take her for all my Psyc classes!

I never felt overwhelmed with work from her class throughout the semester. Work is easy. Through teaching lectures and before the test, she makes an effort to point out what specific concepts students need to know for the tests. As a psychology major, I benefited from her class.

Gen is a great professor. She's funny and I actually remembered her lectures during the test. A few easy papers and mostly PowerPoint notes every class. All test material comes from power points which are also in blackboard. Really easy to study for tests because of this. No real homework except for the few papers and to study.

I took the 8am class and Mrs. Griffin really helps waking us up with her loud voice and her personality. We usually did powerpoints of the chapters in class but they're very interesting topics. So if you miss class it is on blackboard and for up coming assignments are on syllabus so make sure to keep that! Overall one of my fav professor/course

Really encourages class participation - always goes over what will be on the test with you so don't miss the class before the test. Open book final. You will not regret taking one of her classes, I really enjoyed her lectures as well - she really is HILARIOUS!!

Gen is hilarious and down to earth. She has fun lectures and has lecture slides available to print to take notes on which is super helpful. Tests are kind of difficult, but she goes over what will be on them before hand. Only complaint is she says with this every couple of sentences and once you notice it itll get annoying. Gen was a great professor, made lectures entertaining and funny. Overall she gives 4 tests, one 6-7 page journal article, final exam, study guides for each test and 2 outline/reaction papers. Study, study, study... Gives a good amount of extra credit. Very nice lady.

Professor Griffen is very kind and can be funny. Her class was extremely easy, and you have to try to get less than an A. If you need to fill out a class for your IGETC certification or just want to take a psych class i strongly recommend her, she definitely makes an attempt to keep her class interesting.

I definitely recommend her she has you do 3 outlines and a couple of worksheets. The material isnt hard but you this isnt a class you will pass without studying. She gives you everything necessary to do well in her class and she really makes her lectures enjoyable!

Shes a wonderful professor. Having her for Abnormal Psych was fun because you could tell she was genuinely passionate about the material she teaches and encouraging of class discussions. Shes a fair grader and fair when it comes to the schedule/pace of the class. Stuff happens and we were off track for a while but caught right back on schedule.

I loved having Genevieve as my professor! I took the fast-track course as a high schooler for an introduction to psychology, and I learned so much. There were two parts in a week: the first part included a discussion board and usually a lecture, while the second part usually included a test or an essay. The essays were so easy. Take her!!!

Great teacher and very understanding she wants her students to really grasp what she us teaching, This can be a very sensitive class because of some of the topics you learn about. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.

Shes a real one

She seems like a cool person & her lectures were always quite nice to listen to, but she falsely accused me of committing plagiarism & even threatened to put me on academic probation. That caused a major headache trying to prove to her that I didn't do anything wrong. Tests were easy, and she was available to explain things though.

She is a good professor, and the classes are mostly lecture and note taking. If you do the study guides she offers, and take notes, you are guaranteed to be successful in this class. She is funny and the assignments that are assigned are very straightforward. Also, every test is a multiple choice scantron.

This was probably the easiest class I've ever taken as the exams directly correspond to the information in the textbook (like verbatim) and are 100% multiple choice. There are 8 discussion posts and 3 exams, its really straightforward. Beware, she trauma dumps A LOT in the lectures, but lectures are still interesting to listen to. Would retake!
