She is an interesting teacher and very helpful. We had open note tests and group tests. I made an easy A in her class and learned a lot from her too. I would highly recommend that anyone take Dr. Stevens. She is definitely my favorite college professor.

I took her class in the mini term at fall 2007. She was awesome, funny, and friendly. Chapter test exams was online but you will have the whole time to finish it, and you will have a presentation in front of class and the Final. That's it, easy an A if you perform in her class usually. She's the best that i ever took.

Super teacher. Wow. Love the online tests. Hybrid courses are cool. Dr. S. is a good person who really makes learning psychology fun. I recommend her without reservation. People here say the final is hard but it is only 20% of your grade, so if you get an A on everything else you can still get a C on the final and get A in the class.

Dr. Stevens was great! I took her summer class while having an 11 month baby and it was easy. All you have to do is read the required chapters and the tests are straight from the book,2 hrs to take each test. I passed that class with an easy B. Just finished this course online this summer. A lot of reading required from book. Ea chapter you read you take an exam. Participate in discussions, do workbook (which was long but duable), a practice final, and the final exam at the DL campus(take pencil). All exams and final are MC. I procrasinated a little but did all the work and got a B.

I just finished taking the course on line! Easy class, lots of reading but overall very easy. I received a B in her class, but because I procastinated some. Make sure you do the workbook as you are going along so you don't spend days or hours working on it at the last minute. Also, study for the final and you will make an EASY A.

Took her for Summer II and got an A. Didn't read the book at all. 2 hours is plenty of time to find the answers in the book for each exam. The final workbook is annoying, but it helps prepare you for the final. The final is SUPER easy. It's mostly application of definitions.

I would not say class was easy for me, I had not been in school for 40 yrs. Lots of reading, and I hung in there. Dr. S was a good instructor and responded to all my emails. This online class was a lot of work but it is really nothing more than looking for the answers on google though. There is an ON CAMPUS REQUIRED FINAL that consists of 100 questions, and you need to get a 50% on the final to pass apparently, regardless of your grade in the class. I took her 5 week online class right after I took a terrible online sociology class and OMG! What a breeze it was! Her online set up is so nicely laid out. Lots of reading but pretty straight forward on what she wants. I never once had to email her for instructions or had any questions. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Beware, if you do not have a working computer or you forget easily do not take her hybrid class because all of the work is online. She is a very good and funny teacher. She always goes over the material and is very VERY lecture heavy so it's recommended you show up to class.

I took this class for second start online and mostly looked up all the answers online. A departmental final which was the only assignment that I couldn't Google search the answers for brought my grade from a B to a C, if I goggled all the assignments from the beginning this could have been an easy A. Timed quizzes, and exam but all doable.

I took her class for the Winter Mini course. There was a lot to read at once since it was such a short course , but overall it was very easy. Instructions were clear and assignments were graded fairly.

There is a department test at the end, that I needed to take, but I forgot. without it you wouldn't pass the class, so I emailed her, all frantic, and she actually opened it up for me! Professor Stevens syllabus is clear and you WILL NEED the textbook or online code. You must read the chapters in order to pass the quizes. There are 10 chapter quizzes, 2 article summaries, 1 practice final, and a department final. This is not a hard class but not as easy as some may seem since it's online. You will learn so much in this class.

I took Dr. Stevens for abnormal psyc and loved the class! Assignments included video summaries on interesting documentaries involving mental illness. Article summaries were easy. Tests were burdensome with 100 questions to answer for 1 point each, open book & no time limit. She's a generous grader & gives speedy and encouraging feedback.

Bio psyc is easier to understand and more intriguing than regular BIOL 1406/1407. Be sure to get the textbook as exams are long and straight from her ppts AND the textbook. This class is definitely time consuming, however, it's very interesting and you learn a lot. She's very responsive and gives good feedback on your assignments so you know if you're missing the point or not. Lots of videos, and plenty of research and reading involved, but still an easy class if you do the work.

I took Dr. Stevens for the second phase of summer 2021. I'm telling you she is the best! Get your work done with the textbook and Quizlet.

You can find free book on google. There are 10 quizzes, 2 exams, 2 summary articles ( you can choose the article you want ), 1 review for the final, and a final. Look over it; there are many lessons, but actually very few because the exercises are multiple-choice questions and are available in the book. Your misfortune is not to take this class.

This class is very easy and simple as long as you do your work and also a great Professor.

I really enjoyed taking PSYC 2330 with Dr. Stevens. I personally enjoyed getting feedback on written assignments. Feedback is so helpful when motivation might be running on fumes. Keeps me going! Additionally, I contacted Dr. Stevens via e-mail regarding a research topic and her response time was great! I'd definitely take a class with her again.

Because it was a 5-week course, there was a lot of information to absorb, but Professor Stevens made it manageable. Despite the fact that it was an online class, she made a point of providing timely feedback on your work. I would strongly advise you to take her lesson. Overall, I learned a lot about psychology from the materials supplied.

This class was an easy A. As long as you complete all of your assignments you are good to go. There are power points and an inclusive text book provide in the course which are really useful tools. There the assignments arent overwhelming and Dr.S is always available for assistance. I would take this course again but in person to learn more.

This was my first time taking psych and I really enjoyed it. There wasn't too much work and if there was you had time to really get it done. I would take it again.

Professor Stevens is a very understanding and overall good professor. She doesnt give much work and helps you incase you need it. Overall, I would take her again if I could and would recommend taking her for phycology.

I enjoyed taking this psychology class. Expectations were clearly articulated and I learned a great deal about mental health that will be valuable in my own personal life. The practice final exam and the final exam are quite long, so be prepared. So long as you stay on top of readings/assignments, you should be able to get an A.

Pretty straightforward class, read the chapter and do the section quiz then there were 3 exams. Super easy class and everything is open note. Also, the professor is easy to get into contact with if you have questions and she replies back in a timely manner. 10/10 would take this professor again if I had to.

Great professor, easy class. I took her for an 8 week course she's very understanding just make sure you communicate with her if something comes up. The course is pretty straight forward and actually interesting. Would definitely recommend!

shes such an amazing professor because she always encourage her students to have the work done. shes very straight forward. she gives a full grade when u just do what is required. also shes very kind person and responds very quick.

She is an amazing professor who gives good feedback and nice scores. She is really caring, but for the only fact that she gives a lot of work to do especially the video summary where you have to write up to 400 words. Other than that, she grades well and her class is easy! Her unit exams contain 100 questions and some answers are hard to find.

Dr. S, is an outstanding professor. She is a professor who shows compassion towards her students. Took her 3 week course for a May mini, and man was she great on the amount of work as well as the difficulty of understanding the material. Overall she makes the class fun to learn and you will not regret taking her. Enroll now and you will be grateful

Dr. Stevens is a fantastic instructor. She is sweet, accessible, and always encourages you to do your best. I was afraid I would not do well since I work and this was a 3-week course. But, if you do what you're supposed to do and try, there is no way you can fail.

If you are willing to do all the work on time, then this is who you should take. She grades all the assignments very quickly and provides good feedback. The assignments are very clear and interesting. Get ready to read the textbook materials. She also responds to messages very quickly and tries to solve all of your queries. A genuine professor!

Excellent course to begin my study in psychology. You're guaranteed a good grade if you do all the work. Dr. Stevens organized assignments on Canvas well and provided enough time for completion. I enjoyed her feedback on the written assignments and would definitely recommend her to anyone considering a General Psychology instructor.

Great professor

Prof. Stevens is a great instructor. There are very few to no negatives to say towards someone of her kind nature. If you're able to, take her immediately, you will not regret your decision to do so.

She is extremely easy, to be honest, if you actually want to learn I would not suggest her, coz her course is just so so easy, she gives the same grades to everyone, but if you need to increase your GPA then definitely take her because you will get an A without any effort.

Don't have any expectations on 3 weeks session (in fact 2w+1w, last week for exams). Professor was supportive. I wish I could have taken her in person for the full term. You will have 10 LONG chapters (textbook+slides+quizes), 2 articles review+4 unit exams. All tests are in quizlet. If you're ready to make chapter per day, you're good then

I just want 2tell students that if you have the opportunity to take Dr. S, do it. She is so sweet; She genuinely cares about your grades and performance. I took her during a mini-mester and the course work was quite a bit, but not unmanageable. She is very clear about her deadlines and even goes the extra mile to release announcements 4due dates.

I took the 8 week session and it was the best! 2 video summaries every wk. 1 article summary every wk. 1 research paper and 4 unit exams. This class is very doable with other classes. If you do the work and put effort, you will pass. Communication is key! She is an easy grader, you do not need to be a psych major. Do yourself a favor and take her!

Professor Steven's summer class was a smooth class

Easiest and kindest teacher you will ever come across,Very reasonable deadlines. Exams un timed open book. Excepts late work , very encouraging ,kind , and caring. She really cares as a person . Pretty cool stuff to learn in her class. 1 journal summary and exam each week . I don't think its possible to fail her class. This teacher is a blessing!

4 exams and a quick little summary per unit, one exam and one final paper that's just summarizing a research article. sweet lady, easy grader, gives good feedback, responds to emails/canvas messages really fast.

Dr. Stevens is a great professor. I know students always say on RMP that "It's hard to fail the class" but it's seriously hard to fail her. She is not a tough grader and gives great feedback on assignments. She also has many resources to help you succeed in the course. Although this was an online course I can tell that she's very caring and sweet.

4 quizzes, 4 research articles, 1 essay, 1 exam. I found EVERY question on Quizlet so I never studied. AI helped when I was stuck on the essay. Fastest replying Professor I've had in all four years. Work was very light. Perfect for those that are busy. Everything is open the first day except the final exam so you can complete it all the first week.

Just take her class. She's so nice and is easy to communicate with. I took it as a mini and there's a lot of reading but it was so easy. Not many assignments but you still have to do the work. Dr Stevens class has been by far my best online classes and the material is interesting!!

Awesome class, easiest A ever. All quizzes and tests that are all straight chat-able, textbook isn't necessary. Can retake quizzes as many times as u want, and tests might be 3 times besides the final. Great and understanding person, she truly wants u to succeed in her class. TAKE IT
