One of the best teachers I've had in this dept. Explains a difficult course into basic logical thinking. Grades homework,accounts for attendance. Prepares you for the test- (3 given) the first test results -mean grade 88

An asset to the dept. Extremely helpful & concerned that the concepts are understood. Very forthright. Tests are straightforward-if you've done the homeworks, you'll do fine on the tests.Also very accessible by e-mail. Definately take this professor in whatever course he's teaching.

Took this class during the summer. He simplified the subjects and ideas by relating everything to our everyday lives. He is extremely clear and helpful if you ask him questions during and/or after class. He cares more about you actually understanding the information than memorizing specific textbook definitions.

Took him for Micro in the 3 week summer session. Not much in the way reading or homework assignments, tests were easy, and he consistently dismissed the class early. The only downside is that we covered little material and economics majors may have to learn much of micro on their own.

Pro - his explanations are clear. Con- his grading is not clear (his instructions were to answer in your own words and do not use the text book definitions, etc...however his grading reflects otherwise). Exams are based on text. But all in all is a very good professor. I would definitely recommend him.

Does not keep you for the whole class and very friendly and understanding. If you attend class, put some effort in the class showing him you are trying and do the homework, the tests are easy because they come straight from the the classwork and homework. CAKE! definitely recommend!

I am taking him right now- the material is some how hard. however, Prof Hull makes it look so much easier. Attendance is mandatory as he goes over everything that you need to know. No need for book- only for theories. He is by far one of the best prof in QC. Doesn't trick you on exams but you need to know material. Great Prof- highly recommend!

This prof. is great! I took him for Summer 2011. Attendance not required but helps because everything he covers is on exams. Always there to explain. Hard grader but explains well- you can not get a bad grade if you know what college means. Explains everything and does it well

What can I say that hasn't been said? He is absolutely clear on the material, and on what you need to do to succeed in the class. As a bonus, he also is extremely helpful on developing your resume, and provides good job interview tips as well. Very good professor.

Professor Hull is great!I took him on Sundays last semester and I was dreading it before the semester even started, but he made the class interesting and enjoyable. He explains material in a very common sense kind of way that made it easier to understand, reviews the material before exams. And he's hot,I hope I get to take another class w/him!

I will make this very short and simple. You come to class you listen , you pay attention and you will do just fine, I struggled in the beginning but picked up towards the end. If every Professor in Queens College was like Prof. Hull things would be much better. Take his class you will not regret, he is very helpful and he does not mind explaining!

Loved Pro. Hull. He takes attendance and its 15% of your grade, but if you pay attention to his lectures and explantions you'll do fine in the class. Grading is fair and can be raised if you do better over time. HW counts for 100 points so make sure you do it. Some extra credit on tests. Overall, I learned alot, he made it very interesting!

Do not take anyone else in lieu of Geordan. With that in mind, expect to come to class and pay attention. (Textbook is complete garbage) Classy gentleman overall.

I have to say, he is the BEST. He is super clear and gives alot of shortcuts and tips on how to remember the material, also makes everything relatable. Textbook is only used for H.W. and he will NOT accept late homework, must hand it in at the beginning of the class. Overall loved him, will def. take him again if i can.

I took Prof. Hull over the summer and he is probably the best professor in Queens college! Be prepared to go to class, participate, take notes, and go over the textbook questions that were reviewed in class, and read his PowerPoint slides (not the textbook) He also gives tips on how to nail interviews :)

Professor Hull is a really nice guy. His explanations are crystal clear. He is the only professor I actually pay attention to. Exams are easy if you STUDY! Participation is also very important in his class.

Amazing Professor! Really nice and clear about what he wants. Multiple choice midterm and final with easy essay questions. Class has a project as well, but it is very manageable. Definitely take Prof Hull, he is the man!!

EASY... 2 exam a mix of true and false, m/c, and short answer question. one homework assignment. he teach with power point and real life example and you have to read the text book test a lil tricky. no review sheet

He is a good professor, but did not like the way he does his exams. There is no review, he just tells you to review his lectures and tells you a vague outline of the exam, but not hard. Few multiple choice, true and false, definition and explanation questions and short answers. If you don't answer to his liking he takes points off.

Okay, I see a lot of people talking about Hull being condescending. When i had his class, he only picked on people who were texting constantly or laughing at their computers. He would ask you a question just because he knows you're not paying attention, making YOU FEEL embarrassed. Good professor, Pay Attention, Exams are clear and not too hard.

Is the first time I rate a professor . He is an amazing teacher. Very clear and provides examples from real life to understand the subject. Pay attention to his examples because he will ask some questions on the exam. Homework are easy and all the concept he will try to make it easy for you to remember awns to make sense of them. Prof. Hull is very interesting, makes lectures crystal clear for his students to understand basic material. Easy homework. But exams could be very tricky, and even though you may know the material it can still trick you. Make sure you write down his examples because he can give it the exam.

Economics classes are very theoretical and could get boring, but Professor Hull gave real world examples and made a concrted effort to make his own powerpoints that summed everything up. His tests are a little tough but if you take the time to study you should be fine. You would have to do nothing to fail as online hw and attendence is 25% combined

One of the best professors I have ever taken, he really cares about his students. He gives hw on launchpad, which are really easy. The tests are fair. Just study and you will do well. He also gives easy extra bonus points. The only bad thing about his class is that it takes place on a Saturday, but his class is worth it.

This was my second class with Prof. Hull. He is AWESOME. I wish he taught another class at QC. One midterm, one final, and a group project. Read the textbook and participate, you will get an A! He is also accessible outside of class and gets back to students quickly.

nicest professor willing to answer as many questions as u have even outside class. know a lot about job interviews and the job market and is willing to answer questions about that as well. mc tests a short paper about 2 pages and one hw a week easy and quick. wants u to do well

He teaches Economics in a way that makes it simple to understand by giving real life examples. His exams are fair. If you pay attention and do whats required, you will do great!

Best economics professor at QC. He makes lectures interesting and digestable, and gives the class real world advice for job interviews etc. His tests are multiple choice, easy if you study the power points he posts on blackboard. He values attendance and participation in his class also, so make sure you try to speak up in class.

Professor Geordon is a knowledgable professor who makes the class interesting with his lectures and give a lot of information about the real world. His exams are multiple choice and his finals are not cumulative which makes the course less intense. Just make sure you attend classes regulary since class participation is graded.

Great professor. Recommend for econ majors and non-majors alike. midterm chs. 1-5. final chs. 6, 7, 11, 22, 23, 25. final paper 3 pgs minimum. All homework is due approximately 1 week before the last class session (hw is online through launchpad). Easy class.

I took prof Hull for both ECON102 and BUS243 and got A in both. He is pretty good at explaining the material but you have to put in the work. Go to class, study his slides and do the homework. You will be fine.

Prof Hull is very caring and cares about his students. Grade is based off of attendance, participation, midterm, final, homework, and a easy 3 page paper. He also gives extra credit. He makes his lectures really easy to understand, so even if youre tired or dont want to may attention, its not hard to grasp the points he tries to get across.

The class is very easy. He's very clear when teaching and gives a solid review before the tests. Tests are usually 45-50 MC and very easy. He gives you all the equations, so no need to worry. He gives a small curve, as well. He also assigns one short essay, which is graded leniently.

Professor Hull is an amazing teacher. If you have the chance to take him, it's a no brainier. You can ask him a million questions during class and he will reply with enthusiasm. On top of that, he goes over the prev chaps in class! His tests are very easy and he's a great guy,I cannot recommend him enough.

Can't deny he is a great prof. No surprises on the midterm/final but worth 75% of your grade, and very easy homework with 3 chances. I've passed his class with an A- but wouldn't say he is the best professor I've ever had though. When the main points are already stressed, he tends to babble on, confusing students who initially understands it.

Sent an email to the class about a month before the session begun. From reading the intro email, you can tell he is very outgoing and enjoys teaching. Come to class on time, keep your phone away, and pay attention. Failure to do any of those things will result in him calling you out. He's a great professor, and assists with any questions.

his tests r easy cuz it's just applying concepts from the slides to the word problems. no hw but there's 1 paper that he makes you write. the paper is easy & lots of freedom since he lets you pick the topic you want to write. he does grade particip. the 1 thing i didn't like was the $100 online textbook that expires after the class is over.

Very nice guy but will call you out in front of the class if you're clearly not paying attention. A midterm and a final exam that are each worth 37.5% of your final grade. Homework is worth 15% of your final grade. No quizzes. Attendance does matter, so be there, take good notes and ask questions if you have them -- he responds with enthusiasm.

Class drags on. Is very boring. He has a thing against laptops. Will call you out for looking down too much. Overall, pretty easy, 2 tests (37.5% each), both online, 15% hw, 10% attendance.

Overall, Professor Hull had good lectures and was very approachable. you definitely come out of the class with atleast 70% understanding of the topic he lectured that day. The only thing I didn't like was the vague reviews we were given. You basically have to study his slide maliciously in order to be guaranteed an "A". 100% recommend.

I took Professor Hull for ECON 101 and 102. He has been absolutely amazing. His lectures are very thorough with lots of examples. His homework is all online and all due at the end of the semester. His exams can be taken online or in person. Attendance is taken every class on a sign in sheet, so he does deduct points for excessive absences.

Outstanding and knowledgeable professor. The class is online, but makes it engaging by asking students questions and calling on them randomly, so be ready. The material can get boring, but he makes it interesting. He shares the slides and opens the HW for three weeks. Wants your camera on and gives a quiz every day but they are only 1-3 questions
