Dr George is great! She is one of the coolest, most interesting professors I have had. She is a little lady but she is full of heart! She is nice but you wouldn't want to get her mad! I am taking my second course with her and she's very consistent. You will know what her expectations are. She is flexible when needed.Would definitely take her again.
TAKE HER. She tried to make the quizzes easy and based off of one page in the book (open book). She tells you exactly what's on the test...they can still be a little hard though if you don't study at least a little.
Dr.George is freaking amazing! I loved her class so much, that now I am a biology major. Text book isn't used all that much, except for like one or two assignments. I wish I could have her as a teacher for all of my classes. Her test objectives pretty much ARE the tests, so study those and you'll def. make an A in the class. She is the BEST!
very nice prof. tries her best to teach her students. she likes it when your involved with teh class if not shell pick on you. overall, easy A class.
Class was fun and easy.
She does not teach anything. Please do not take her for A&P.
I am taking her 1102 class this semester. I would not recommend her. She never answers her email. Her attendence is mandatory & she gives pop quizzes. She picks on you if you are late & she embarresses you in front of class and asks u to write the answer on the board, knowing u dont know it. If u do study, her tests r okay. Mostly all short answer.
I wouldn't recommend her. Her notes are nor very organized. She doesn't really help much. Her tests are hard and long, and she does pick on you if don't participate. Because of her, i now hate biology more than i did before :(
She is a fantastic prof., she provides great notes and her tests come straight out of the notes. Book was rarely used; be sure to participate in class.
I love Dr. George!!!! She is an amazing teacher. The class is a bit hard if you do not pay attention in class. The power points are extremely helpful. She is always wiling to help IF you care. Thanks to her I changed my major to Biology. Disregard the comments below me. If you don't work for your grade you won't get an A its that simple.
Amazing teacher! Seems strict in the beginning and then she builds relationships with everyone! Go to class and take notes, her notes are the test!! Easy to understand and always gives great examples. Don't use your cell phone or you will be teaching class! (And it happened once!) Overall amazing teacher!
Very helpful teacher, difficult tests
She's a very helpful teacher. You can't expect Anatomy & Physiology to be easy, but she makes sure you understand it. She gave us Course Objectives for every test, and it literally came right from there.
Prof George is a good teacher, however her tests are difficult. Lots of tricky questions so you have to know the material inside and outside, not just the surface stuff. She is helpful and she does give test objectives, but they are mostly on all the material covered so not of much real help.
It was when I got to grad school in nursing that I realized how prepared I was. Dr. George is demanding, but also she knows how to move one in the right direction. She is a fantastic mentor with high, but realistic, expectations. LOVE Dr. G!
Horrible professor(even though i still pass the class. would not recommend her as a professor and a mentor
Dr. George was a great teacher. Very thorough. This was a hard class because it was a Summer Session A. Test contained alot of information. She did not skip a beat just because it was a 3 week course. She crammed in at in. If you are okay with fast pace, then this is the class for you. I learned alot.
Dr. George is awesome, but very tough. You will have a great understanding of A&P after her class. If you survive her class and do well, every other class seems like childs play. Highly recommend! Pay attention to her powerpoints and if she hints on certain objectives...her test are very thorough
I took this course this summer. It was an intense 3 Weeks. Lots of information. Study the course objectives n take good notes and u will do fine. I would take her again.
Very nice teacher. Did all the work and earned an A. You do have to do a 30 page paper as a final, however it is with groups. Very fun class
Her tests are tricky and her lesson obj. are useless. After the test she do not even let you keep it to see what you missed to study for the final. She assure you not to drop the class by making you believe that it will get better only to make her look good. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
AWFUL Professor, Awful class. She expects way to much out of you for an intro class. I am not a year behind on my graduation date because of her. She is rude and inconsiderate about things. DO NOT TAKE HER!
Nursing students beware!!!If you are trying to get into nursing school she makes it impossible. Your GPA will suffer if you take her. Her tests are multiple choice however the questions are hard and tricky. All semester long we never got our grades but the last day of class she gives us our grade immediately. Drop after midterm to save your GPA.
I wish professors with a Doctorate stop treating students like they are on their level. The problem is that they know they are smarter than us and gives us tests to show us that we are not on their level....STAY AWAY!!! Don't say I didn't warn you.
This professor is awful. She teaches off power point and her tests are multiple choice. After each test you will not even know what you missed to study for the final. She posts grades late no curving or e/c. The only thing I wanted most is to at least see what I missed so I can make sure I didn't make the same mistake twice!!! Unfortunately I did.
At midterm she will give you this long speech on how you're not doing well now and how it your grade will get better. Don't believe her! It is a tactic to get you to continue in her class. Never saw the tests. Just have to take her word for your grade. Very tricky test questions meaning that there could be more than one correct answer.
I read all the comments about this professor but I signed up for her class anyways. Biggest mistakes of my life!! I have never struggled in any science course until I got to this class. Although the subject is hard, she doesn't make your life easier because her exams are super hard and they are not straight forward. Please don't take her.
She doesn't reply to emails or let you know your grade until the end of the semester so you don't know where you are standing. She doesn't give extra credit and she doesn't post hey notes on D2L. Worst professor I ever had. Takes a long time to grade exams. Do not take her.
I don't know why her last couple of reviews were bad she is a great teacher. She explains the information so you understand it. She took the time to help me. Her tests are straight forward and she only tests off her lesson objectives. No surprises she really works with her students.
Take her! She is a great teacher. She takes the time to make sure you understand the information. If you are going to nursing school what you learn in her class will help you A LOT!!!
Great Teacher!! Use her lesson objectives and you will get a A in the class.
Good teacher and I wish Dr George had taught me A&P I. I learned so much more in her class than I did in A&P I.
Dr. George is an amazimg teacher. She has brief power points that she goes over in details with the class. Her explainations for everything are simple and straight to the point. She tells you exactly what's on the test the day before. One of the sweetest and helpful teachers I know. She is also a great mentor if you ever need anything.
Took dr George for A&p 2. When I took part 1 I struggled in understanding everything. With part 2, she made everything more easier to understand. She takes the time in explaining her lectures in away everyone would benefit. She made me happy with the career choice I made. I was starting to worry about my bio studies. Thank you dr. George.
I absolutely LOVE DR. GEORGE! She taught me nonmajors biology and she inspired me to become a biology major. I loved attending her class. Like any class you have to do the work and study to get a good grade. She was always very supportive and available. I was always welcomed in her office. Feedback on projects and tests were always clear and prompt
This class was so much fun. Dr. George was very straight forward. She was always available to help. I would love to have her again as a professor.
Dr. George is an amazing professor. She goes beyond lecturing, she also cares about her students as well. She was very engaging and made learning about biology very fun. I recommend her.
Great Teacher!
I really enjoyed her class. She is straight forward with her notes and test. She really cares about her students. I would take another class with her.
Dr. George is very kind and cares about her students, her class is not easy per-say but I would definitely recommend taking her!!
Dr. George is an amazing professor! She really takes time to explain her lecture so that students are not confused. Her lectures are clear and straight to the point. She provides a study-guide and lets you know what to expect ahead of time so you prepare and there are no surprises. Class is not an easy A, but you learn so much. She's the best!
Dr. George help make A&P II easy to understand. She takes the time to explain. Study her lesson objectives and you will make an A.
I love Dr. George. She is straight forward and explains this stuff well. Great Class.
DONT TAKE HER. u will get B very hard. i had 4.0 GPA and very happy about my science classes just before taking her. she gives you hard time. and make u feel stupid.
never again
Great professor!!!! just study using her lesson objectives and you will make an A.
Great Professor. Wish I had her for A&P I
I really liked Dr. George's class. She explained things and good the time to help me understand. I really think it has helped me in nursing school now.
Love Dr. George she is the best!!! I would take her for all my classes if I could. Straight forward lectures and just study the lesson objectives....
I wish I had her for A&P I. She really cares about her students.
Best teacher I've had. Very nice and helpful.
I really liked her lectures they were organized and easy to use to study.
I loved her class! She explained stuff so I could understand it!
This class requires 100% participation. She expects you to say something all the time even if you have nothing saying which I think is a bit uhhmm crazy. You write a 30 pages long paper of an experiment you create yourself at the end of the semester. Be ready to talk! Ask dumb questions and you'll get your points to pass the class.
She is an amazing teacher! She gives you lesson objectives that are going to be on the test and those are the things you need to study. She expects you to apply all of the information you've learned, so her tests are super easy, but they are not super hard. She is so nice, she will not let you fail.
Loved Dr. George's class!!! Her lecture are easy to understand and she cares about her students.
I had her for A&P I during the summer. She was Great!! She explains the material and really cares about helping you do well. I am taking her for A&P II right now.
She's a good professor. Lectures are straight to the point and does not give out any hw. I felt like her tests were a bit too directed towards medical students. I am majoring in EXSC and her test questions were real life examples for nursing students but felt useless for my major. Other than that i would recommend for nursing students.
LOVED her class! I just wish I had her for A&P I. I learned a lot and she really takes the time to explain stuff.
GREAT Teacher! I have had her for several classes. She really explains and helped me understand.
Dr. George is GREAT!!! Her tests are directly from her notes. She really really helped me understand the material.
Dr. George is an amazing Professor! She cares for her students and encourages them to push to their ultimate potential. You will learn and understand fully various A&P concepts once completed Dr. George's class. The best part of all ! you don't need a text book because slides are used, and she gives you objectives to study for exams. She the BEST!
If you're looking for a professor that will be straight forward and to the point take her. She tell you exactly what will be on exams/quizzes & offer opportunities to earn extra credit. There's no need for a textbook, she teaches everything you need to know off of a ppt. Come to class, take notes, complete/study lesson objectives and youll get an A
LOVE her. VERY straightforward and will let you know ahead of time what will be on her exams. Work on study objectives and memorize whatever she tells you to and you'll do great.
Dr. George is a great professor. Her lesson objectives were SO helpful for her test. I personally would record her lectures and that was also very helpful as well. YOU DO NOT NEED THE BOOK. She's an excellent professor and she is great at explaining topics and will give you an answer to any question you throw her way. She is so smart. TAKE HER!
Took Dr. George for Anatomy/Physiology 1 over the summer and passed this class with a B. It was a lot of information but she makes sure that you understand the material. Her study guides help with the exams and occasionally gives out extra credit on tests. There's a couple research papers but they're really easy. Overall I would sign up to take her
Not as good as everyone says, test are too in depth and lectures are heavy.
Dr. George is great & explains things clearly, but her tests are difficult. Her slides are all text so if youre a visual learner, youll have a hard time understanding concepts. The lesson objectives are helpful, but mainly you really need to put in a lot of time studying because her tests are not simple or straightforward.
She goes over her power points in class but the power points are very vague and most of the time she expects you to write down what she is saying. So you might write down the correct information and you might not. I basically had to self teach myself because her lectures were so unorganized
There are several quizzes she assigns you to take online. The quizzes have questions on them that are not included in her lectures. You will be asked and graded on material that she has not taught. Then she will tell you that she keeps a separate grade book with the correct grades and the grade on D2L are not correct and up to date
Her exam questions are incredibly tricky. Majority of the time more than one answer is correct and it makes you second guess yourself. Does not give extra credit. VERY LAZY. Her power points have several grammar mistakes in them. She Lies to you to make you feel like your grade is better than what it really is.
Dr. George was an amazing professor. Her class was hard, but Anatomy isn't an easy subject. She gives you exactly what you need for the test. She doesn't post her notes online so you must come to class to get the material. Also do the objectives. She asks questions based on those. I would definitely take her again!
This class is not what you think it is. She said its easy. It started strong, then by mid term you can see about 1/3 people dropped with "W" i stayed b/c i believed she may changes the way she teach a little but no. She did not do review, she let you out 1-2 hrs early instead of help you review for exams. I pay her to teach me, not 100% self study.
Dr. George is a really good professor because her lectures are engaging and explains the material in great detail. Her exams are directly from the notes and the study guide she provides. You will do great if you study her notes well and attend every class. Textbook is optional. If you want to understand and retain the course material, take her.
Dr. George is a Great professor. She gives you lesson objectives which really helped me get an A in the class. She ALWAYS took the time to answer questions and explain. GREAT teacher!!
I LOVE Dr. George's class. She is awesome! I wish she taught Microbiology.
I had Dr. George this semester for A&P 2. I wish I had her for A&P I. She is awesome. She cares about her students. Some student just didn't follow her suggestions. If you study her lesson objectives and use her lecture notes your will make an A. She is the best!
I had her for A&P II and she is great. I need to take A&P I over and I am taking her. She explains stuff so you can understand it. I would take her for all my classes if I could.
I am taking her now for A&P I and I am trying to get into her A&P II class. She really takes the time to explain stuff. And her tests are straight forward.
Dr. George is an awesome professor. She really helps you understand exactly what you need to know. She is also able to relate it to other things we have seen or can relate to which really helps understand the material better. I wish she taught all my biology classes to be honest. If you get the chance to take a class with her, you will be thankful.
Dr. George is the best. I really liked how she connected things for us in A&P. I understood it so much better once I got to her class for A&P 2...I was so lost with another instructor when I took A&P 1.
She is the best. One of my favorite teachers at GGC.
She is such a caring professor. I learned so much in her class and I still use her notes in my nursing classes! She is the best!!!
This was the worst professor I've ever taken. She tested us multiple times on things she never tought or told us to know. She told us not to buy the book, said and I quote "if I ever tell you to learn anything from the book then I'm not doing my job", then proceeded to tell us to learn from the book. Her test were impossible. Test only, no homework
This teacher is the worst!! There is no textbook, she only has slides that are available in class only,. She doesn't allow you to record anything & lectures as you try to copy the slides down quickly. She skips over a ton of info saying, "you don't need to know this" but then puts VERY specific test questions on stuff she never taught! AVOID HER!!!
Dr George has been one of the best professors I've had. I actually love her teaching style. She teaches us exactly what we have to know and she's very enthusiastic about her teaching. She made me very comfortable in asking questions and I definitely always felt like I had everything I needed to be successful in her class. Definitely recommend!
I highly recommend Dr. George for A & P 2! Her lectures are not online, so make sure to take good notes or record her. You will learn a lot and she definitely tries to make the information clear. The exams are challenging, but she provides lesson objectives. DO THEM and have her check them to make sure you understand the material. It'll help!!
Dr. George is a great professor. I learned so much in her class. She explains the material well and her tests are based on her lectures.
Dr. George was a wonderful teacher. You really have to work for your grade. But you give what you get. In order to pass her really difficult tests, you have to study all of the lesson objectives and ALL OF THE NOTES. Make sure to put in a lot of time. Her tests really make you think but it'll be worth it.
Dr. George is very intimidating but she does care about you if you care about the class. You won't get by if you just sit there in class not taking notes or by not participating. Tests are lesson objective and in-class note heavy. Doesn't make you read the textbook so that helped me since I get lost in them. A is achievable if you study diligently.
Dr George is an excellent professor! She really takes the time to explain and she cares if you understand the information. I wish she taught micro too.
I really wanted to like this class and the professor. I can tell she cares about the students understanding the material, but the exam experience was just terrifying: a bunch of confusing questions, questions with no apparent correct answer, questions with seemingly multiple correct answers, questions on Unit 4 material in Unit 1 exam.
Dr. George is an excellent professor. I had her both online and in person. She always made help to help answer my questions. She set up several zoom meeting and helped me understand the material. She is great!
Dr. George has been my favorite professor at GGC. I loved her class and she is so helpful. She explains the material so well.
Loved having Dr. George as my professor. I took several classes with her and I enjoyed them all. Dr. George inspired me to switch to biology major after taking her non-majors biology. I would take her again if I could for any course. She is brilliant and an incredible person. I highly recommend taking her for any class she offers.
Although Many people may perceive Dr. George's class as a tough task, I would simply say that she's one of the best professors that I have ever had. She is very clear as to what she looks for during tests and gives students the lesson objectives for an exam with much anticipation. She presents her lectures and is always open for questions.
I choose to take Dr. George because I heard how amazing of a professor she was as well as how accomplished she is as a woman in academia. She is a fantastic teacher. You will work for this class, but the POSITIVE is that she will tell you EXACTLY what you need to study. No more no less. It's a dream. Dr.G doesn't mess around, but she also CARES!
did hybrid class for her, only lab were in person. She is willing to help you outside of the class. You really have to study to do well in her tests. tests questions come from her lecture. watch her videos and study you will pass with B in her class for sure!!
She literally didn't teach. Everything was recorded and we did not meet in person or on zoom ever. She told us to learn the material ourselves and then gave us tests a month later. No powerpoints, no lectures, just you, the book and her videos. I would ask for help and her response was "send me what you think" and would never get back to me.
Dr. George was a great professor and is very helpful if you reach out to her. She is willing to put in the time to help you and answers any questions you have. You have to make sure to put in the time to study for her tests.
Dr. George was an amazing professor in every way possible. I would definitely recommend taking her class to all looking for a good biology professor, who can give valuable information to help with their later studies. Especially those looking for a career in the field of medicine
ONLINE. She does NOT go over test she just tells you to do a study guide and to ask her for help. She only lectures on the hard things. I made a 47% on her first test thinking I did everything right. I am withdrawing from her class because Im a smart student and I am not paying for school to teach myself. I need a professor to teach me!!!
Youre basically learning on your own, she expects you to know everything in her class without actually teaching, and the study guides are somewhat useful for the tests.
She was excellent... online. She meet with me and other students in study groups via zoom. I would take her again. She is the best!
Dr. George is the best. She is so organized. I loved her class. Everything was so structured and she took time to set up appointments to go over stuff.
She seems like a cool person but shes a terrible professor. She doesnt teach you anything and expects you to learn everything on your home by using connect access. The first test we took of the semester and it was already hard by having over 80 questions. I definitely Recommend to not take her, youll regret it.
Honestly I would choose another professor. The hw and study guides were not similar to the exams, the exams were hard, the in persons labs were useless, and youre basically teaching yourself.
Dr. George is Excellent!!! I learned so much in her class. She is so helpful and her class is so VERY organized.
I do not know why she has so many good reviews. This is basically a class you have to lecture yourself. Only some content was presented on video but was not clear and not inspirational. Dr. George seemed to be tired while recording these videos. Exams were very hard - many questions were not related to the study guide.
If you are looking for an easy A keep it moving. I took this because my PA school made me & it was tough. Not content wise but just because u have to teach yourself. READ THE BOOK. Her exams are like her study guides but you have to understand the content to answer the question completely and not superficially. Her class is not impossible, just busy
Dr. George is the best! She explains and she takes the time to answer questions even outside of class. I really understood A&P because of her!
This was my favorite class. I learned a lot. Dr. George was always willing to explain things even outside of class hours. I put in the time but she really helped me understand the material. The study guides are key.
One word for Dr. George EXCELLENT! Take her if you can.
The class was by no means easy. She gave out study guides, but you definitely have to read your book a lot . You also have to do some deep studying for this class. However, whenever I needed help, she was always available to answer any questions I may have. Overall, she really cares about her students.
She is great! In her lectures she take time to explain. She has study guide questions which is what you need for the exams. She has been one of my favorite teachers at GGC.
My favorite teacher at GGC! She really helped me understand A&P. She is straight forward and really wanted us to learn. She was always willing to answer questions.
Dr. George takes the time to explain stuff. I really enjoyed her class.
Her class is great! She even stayed after class several times and explained stuff I didn't understand.
Anatomy and physiology is one of those classes that you need to take the time to study for. Dr. George provides you with the recourses necessary to succeed. She provides lecture videos on concepts that may be difficult to understand. She truly cares about you as a student and making sure you comprehend the material being taught.
Dr. George can rub people the wrong way - for example, one time she said "I don't really care if you do well in my class because I'm still going to get a paycheck," during a lecture. I just think this was very unprofessional and makes it seem like she doesn't care for the well-being of her students. Just take someone else
she is a good professor but she has this weird attitude when she lectures. face to face she's super nice and pretty understanding. make sure you study the notes that you take in class (don't know the notes fail the test). 4 lecture exams and 2 lab exams with a final (cumulative).
Dr. George was great. It's definitely not the easiest class you'll take but manageable if you take the time to read over notes and use the study guides. Just make sure you show up to every lecture for the notes!
I loved Dr. George she's honest and understanding. I took her during summer so everything was moving quick! But she still provides all the resources you need. Pay attention to her lectures! She uses real-world applications and in-class writing assignments and that really cements the information. Highly recommend if you genuinely want to learn
Professor George is amazing. She's organized. Attendance is mandatory because notes are taken during class. Class is very well structured and the study guides help. The amount of content isn't too bad, but the exams will be challenging. Overall a great class and great professor
Dr. George is a great professor. Highly recommend. Make sure you do your studying outside of class. Attend class because you will write down your notes in class. She does not post notes/slides. Start the study guides as soon as you can. Will provide handouts over some material, but would not go over the topic in class. Study, study, STUDY!
Dr. George was one of my favorite professors. Her lectures are easy to understand and she explains everything. She took the time to explain questions after class. If you study her notes you will do well.
Take her class. She explains everything and I understood so much better than when I took it before with another professor. Her class is so well organized.
Dr George took the time to explain things even though it was an online class. She always answered my email questions. I had zoom and phone call meetings with her. She was so much better than other online instructors I have taken.
Dr. George goes above and beyond to help you succeed! She was very willing to help me individually outside of class. Not only does she provide all the material needed, but her material is world class! Her powerpoint explanations and lectures impacted me to this day. She always had a positive attitude that was a joy to be around!
LOVED her class, and she definitely helped inspire me to pursue the PA route. By far one of my favorite professors. You'll definitely need to remember the information for the test, not just recall it as she connects concepts for exams. AP2 is a lot, but she condenses it down as much as possible, but def recommend study groups.
Dr. George has been one of my favorite professors thus far. She is very accessible even for being an online class. She is very thorough in letting students know what they need to study and what will be on the exam. APII is a tough class, but if you learn the topics and relate them to one another, the exams are much easier. Would highly recommend!
Something to note if you take her online. Her lecture exams are textbook heavy, and the study guides only cover enough of the exam content to score you a low A or a high B. Lab exams are easy(labeling pictures). She's very accessible and willing to go over exams with you. In conclusion, not a textbook reader? Don't take the class online.
Dr. George class is well organized and I loved her explanations. I really felt I learned in her class.
Great Professor and class, she is very clear on what to study for the exams, and her lectures are straightforward and educational. No busy work, and numerous extra credit opportunities, but the class is not a walk in the park. Study what she gives you and you will get an A. One of the best professors at GGC, I would take her class again.
Professor Bagie makes study guides that will prepare you for each test; however, I recommend reading the textbook chapter to better understand as she highlights topics. Her study guides are used to force you to think critically about each topic, so if you struggle with making connections, read the textbook. Also, do not forget the quizzes!!!
Dr. George is by far the best science prof I've had at GGC. She is straight forward, doesn't give busy work, and overall treats students like college level adults, all while being understandable, accommodating, and, respectful. If you want to get prepared, take Dr. George. Definitely recommend, especially if you want to actually learn.
Anatomy 2 is a difficult class, I took this class online which made it that much harder. Dr. George wants us to succeed and gives us the power to do so we just need to put in the work. You have to read the book and really get to the know material. Tests were difficult because you have to think outside the box but I would definitely take her again.
She can come across a bit intimidating at first, but don't let that fool you, Dr. George is very caring. Her class is not a walk in the park though, you will have to work for your grade. The tests are based on notes taken in class, so attendance is vital. Her tests are not easy but she is good at explaining things if you need extra help. Take her.
Dr. George is a phenomenal professor. ALL the content on exams comes from PPTs & videos. She tests on your UNDERSTANDING of the material not on your ability to memorize. You can make an A, but you HAVE to study! She will meet with you over zoom to discuss material & go over your exams. TAKE HER if you want to really understand anatomy!
Dr. George is one of the best professors I have ever had, and I have a bachelor's degree so that is saying a lot! She makes lectures very interesting and is extremely personable when it comes to teaching. She provides study guides that are a great reflection of what you will be tested on. Don't think twice-- TAKE HER!!! You will not regret it!
George was great! She encouraged us to understand and apply material, instead of just memorizing it. She is caring and always willing to meet with students and help them with any questions or concerns. Her course is very structured and everything is provided for you in order to succeed. Make sure to be organized and consistent with studying!
I read the reviews before signing up and I am glad I did. She is great! She is organized and explains AP so well. I wish she taught Micro too! I really loved her class.
This class is extremely difficult. She says and always focuses on her study guide...umm she gives 80 question tests and 60% is on the study guide. The rest? scattered in the textbook so try to memorize every single detail. Only 4-5 Tests that will basically determine your grade. The homework is a ton and worth practically nothing compared to a test.
Dr George is the best! She went over the study guide with me several times. She helped me understand the information and I did well on the test. She really cares about her students.
I took Dr. George's class a few semesters ago and now I am in nursing school at GGC. Her course and her teaching helped me so much. I used her notes to study for the TEAS and I still use them in my classes now. She is a great teacher.
Dr. George is an amazing anatomy professor! Anatomy is not an easy course so don't go into this thinking it's going to be a walk in the park, HOWEVER, the way she structures the class makes it easy for you to focus on the content you need for exams, quizzes, etc. If you put the work in, come to class, and ask questions, you will succeed!
Very helpful with the course and any nursing related questions. She explains everything in her lectures very thoroughly and if you have questions she makes sure to answer it and beyond. No hw, quizzes often (open notes/book), exams weigh your overall grade. If you study the content that she gives you, you will do great on your exams!
I like the way she had everything organized for the online class. Also she answered all my questions quickly. She set up phone or zoom meetings so I could go over my questions. Great class and teacher.
She makes everything very concise and boils it down as much as possible. AP2 is hard in general and it's a class you take because you need it for your future (If you're pre-med). You must study and attend lectures, but she's always willing to meet up with you and help you. Take this class if you actually want a good teacher and to learn.
She is very organized. I took her online (A&P2) and in person (A&P1) and I would take every class with her if I could. She made time and set up multiple appointments to answer my questions when I took it online. She has everything set up so it is easy to follow. She is the best.
Dr. George is an amazing professor. The course is hard of course but with her; she bumps down the difficulty a slight bit. You just have to put the work in. Attending lectures and study guides are extremely handy in her class if you want that A.
Dr George was an amazing professor! A&P 2 is a tough class but she made sure if I didn't understand a concept she would help me over the phone on a personal call! She responds fairly quickly and always has time to help in any way possible. With good studying habits and dedication you will receive an A!
Dr. George is an exceptional professor who excels at breaking down complex concepts into understandable parts, ensuring that all students can grasp the material. Her teaching style is highly engaging and interactive, encouraging student participation and fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter.
I took Dr. George's on-campus class, and though nervous as it was my first at GGC, I followed her guidance and earned an A. She's organized, committed to student success, and excellent at communication. Her study guides are key to good grades. I recommend her to everyone, but her class fills up fast!
Professor George is excellent - super organized and always willing to help. The class is challenging, but her study guides are spot-on. I found unstuck AI really useful for test prep along with the textbook. Definitely take this class if you want to learn.
The BEST. I didn't start off well (my fault) but she really helped me learn the material and I pulled my grade right up by the end of the semester. I would take for for another class if I could.
She is amazing!! Her lab exams and regular exams study guide set you up for success in her class. I was asynchronous so she had video lectures which were very helpful. None of her work is hard, just do it and you will get an A. TAKE HER, THERE IS A REASON SHE IS ONE OF THE FIRST PROFESSORS CLASS THAT IS FULL for A&P I/II.
Professor Gorge is a very knowledgeable person and very well-organized. I would definitely take her again.
Dr. George took the time to explain stuff to me even though this was a online course. She never rushed and she made sure I understood the concepts. Great class. It was all organized.
Dr. George is a great professor, she is kind and understanding. Her lab exams are super simple. The packet that she puts on D2L is EXACTLY like the lab exam. STUDY IT! Only bad thing, she bases lecture exams purely off HER personal notes. Do not use the textbook or any other source. Come to class or you don't get the info.
this the bad experience of any science course I've had in my entire collegiate career. This professor has made every exam insanely difficult, tricky, and baseless. After studying 10 hours each day for two days not even I was able to score a C on her last test. Everyone fails, she curves to get the average she wants. Awful
Dr. George is an incredibly smart and organized instructor. She provides study guides and designs test questions that really make you think critically. Her teaching style is clear and structured, and she connects the material to real-world examples. Overall, she's an excellent professor who challenges you in the best.
Dr. George is EXCEPTIONALLY clear on exactly what you need to know for ALL lecture and lab exams and most online HW. Rarely need the textbook. Come to class, take good notes, and memorize her study guides to a T. Be present & extra credit is easy to gain. Also, Prof. George is extremely considerate of emergency situations, just let her know!
Dr. George is an amazing professor! A&P 2 is tough, but she explains clearly and makes sure students understand. Very interactive, quick to respond, and gives feedback after exams. Tests are challenging and require real understanding, so study hard. Attendance matters! If you want a professor who truly cares about your success, take her class!
