Mr. Bernard is a great teacher. SCC needs a 100 more just like him.

im taking his intro to business right now and i believe that he is a great teacher because alot of teachers in college don't care about the student but mr. bernard really tries to help you when you have a problem.. def. take his class again...he is funny and always has jokes.

Clear expectations, comprehensive tests. If you can't pass this class, you don't belong in business....

AWESOME TEACHER! One of the few teachers that actually knows how to teach. Very clear on what he expects. Though the content of the material is sometimes difficult to understand, he goes over the it thoroughly. When it comes to teaching, his #1 priority are his students. Highly recommend him.

Very helpful and great looking teacher...to bad he is married. He doesnt just give you good grades but he makes you learn the material. SCC needs more like him.

Great professor. I found him very helpful, he does not mind explaining the material, and will give you examples of how it is used in real life. I would recommend him for all the business classes, he is one of the best!

GREAT teacher, make sure to attend class and look over notes and you'll be fine. He goes through everything and makes sure you understand. Definitely taking any other class he teaches.

VERY helpful if you want to start your own business. You learn everything from different kinds of businesses to starting your own business plan. Actually cares for you to do well and is very helpful; highly recommended.

great. his tests are almost multiple choice questions. he would review clearly, so you can get a good grades. However, i did not like he uses powerpoint to teach, it is so boring.

Mr. Bernard was very helpful and took great pains to make sure his class understood the material. He was very patient with even the most obscure questions. He made accounting ALMOST fun and definately understandable. I recommend him for any class you have to take.

Great teacher! If this class is a requirement, take Mr. B's class. He thoroughly explains the material, make sure you understand it, and gives great test reviews. His desire is that each student effectively learn the material and is able to utilize it in a real-life atmosphere.

Business Math was the first class I had with George Bernard. He uses power points and he took time to explain the work.

this class is kind of hard but he tries to make it as easy as he can. everything is on powerpoint. he does test reviews. he goes over homework in class.

Took the online class & had just enough advice from Mr. Bernard to get it! The text is great - READ IT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE $! It’s an essential read if you really want to make money or start a business/franchise. I'm all MBA now 100% focused on opening my first franchise! THANK YOU MR. B!

ACG financial accounting

This teacher is very helpful. He actually wants to pass his classes with a good grade. He gives good test reviews and even curves on the exames. He also gives additional points just for showing up to class. I have taken him for 5 classes already and will be taking him for a sixth over the summer. I think this shows how much student loyalty he has.

This teacher is awesome! He actually wants his students to pass and understand. He doesn't try to trick you tests. He has powerpoints and HW w/answers for you. Great reviews are also given for tests. He knows what he's talking about. You should definitely take him! This is my 2nd class w/him.

Great teacher. Pay attention and go to class, you will get an A. He is very friendly and relaxed. Other teachers should copy his style of teaching. He made the class fun. TAKE ANY CLASS HE TEACHES.....

Mr. Bernard was awesome! This was my first online course and my experience was great! All the tools were provided to complete the course. He went above and beyond to make his students were successful. I highly recommend Mr. Bernard and will definitely take another class with him.

I took Mr. Bernard for Fin. Accounting and was probably the best teacher I have ever had @ SCC. He makes accounting which can be a tough subject very interesting. He gives plenty of opportunities for XC and his lectures are cut and dry, and to the point.

I took his online marketing class and loved it! Very lenient and helpful if you ask. Only downfall is that he doesn't give you your grade until late in the semester but he's got a lot on his plate so it's definitely understandable. Will definitely take another class with Professor Bernard!

I would ignore the previous posting - there is no way that student took Mr. Bernard's course! I took the same SBM 2000 online course and I found Mr. Bernard to be very helpful and nice! It was a GREAT course!

I took his online class for intro to business and intro to manangement. He is a very staight forward intstructor. For an online class as a single parent this is a great professor to take. You do the work and get the grade. Quizzes are directly from the book and discussion questions are short and sweet. If you fail this class, easy professor

I took intro to business in the summer this teacher was awesome online he responds back to you in a required manner. You could not fail his class as long as you read and do all tests and postings

Not an easy class but he is a great teacher. I have had him for a few classroom classes as well in the past. He is very helpful and fair.

Read, it's the best advise I can give you. Follow the syllabus. The instructions were crystal clear. It would be hard to not get an A in this class. You were told what had to be done at the start and knew what was expected of you. Any questions that I had were answered quickly, and politely. I recommend this professor if you are taking this class.

EASY! TOOK HIS ONLINE CLASS, HE TAKES A WHILE TO ANSWER EMAILS BUT HE IS VERY CLEAR ON WHAT HE WANTS FROM DAY 1. 4 TESTS, 15 SHORT QUIZZES, A FEW VIDEOS TO WATCH WITH 3 QUESTIONS TO ANSWER ABOUT THE VIDEO AND ONE BIG PAPER THAT IS EASY.

SO EASY! I took entrepreneur and intro to business with this teacher. There is only one major project and a quiz at the end of each chapter and a test after about 3-4 chapters and are all really easy. He doesn't respond to messages very quickly but if you ask other students you can get a faster response. He also provides plenty of time per chapter.

Great Teacher. Can't wait to take another one of his classes.

AMAZING! Professor Bernard is the guy that reminds you why you want to stay in college in the first place. He's a patient, kind human being with a true passion for teaching. A truly great man, if you can take ANY class with him at all I highly recommend it.

I took him twice. Both online classes. He mad taking online classes fun and easy. Just do your work and turn it in on time and you will be fine! Wish he offered even more classes. I recommend taking him for Entrepreneurship the Business Plan is not as scarey as it looks, get the book that comes with the CD. Step by step walk through!

Clear, easy to understand, and lenient. He really cares about his students and goes the extra mile to make sure everyone not only understands, but passes as well. Tests and papers are very easy, gives excellent study guides. Great for business majors and non-majors alike, everyone should take him.

Even though lots of tests and such. I love taking some classes with him, easy to pass. I loved it, took two almost three with him.

I would have to say this is probably my favorite professor for anything that has to do with majoring in business. He really doesn't want anyone to fail his class and i mean he will do anything to help you pass the class.

Professor Bernard is a really good professor. He is there for you and wants to make you life easier. He is pro-student! He will always finish the class early and he'll be very clear to students about what's gonna be in the exams. I highly recommend him!

I took his Financial Accounting online class during the summer. I thought it was going to be easy class, but it's very difficult! All of the homework & tests are on connect. Attend review sessions or teach yourself and faiI. Takes about 5 hrs to finish 2 homework assignments every week. Very time consuming & difficult if you don't know accounting!

Took him this summer online and this is the best teacher. I highly recommend him and you will not regret it.

Took this class online over the summer. I really liked Professor Bernard He wants you to do well and pushes you to excel in the class. I learned a lot in it but by no means is this an easy class. He holds review sessions for the tests, if you can't attend be prepared for a fairly difficult test.

This professor is awesome. Don't get me wrong. This class is tough, and there is a lot of homework. It's accounting. It's not an easy A. However, he gives great feedback and does awesome test reviews. He makes learning accounting fun and interesting. I would highly recommend taking this course with him if possible.

I took his class online and for me it was an easy A. Everything is clearly outlined in the beginning of the class so you know when everything is due. There are assignments for every chapter, 4 exams, and 1 project. He is quick and helpful to respond to questions. I would definitely take again.

Professor Bernard a great teacher and actually cares for his students learning. I took the class online, which I recommend you take on campus instead. Online course are much more about being self taught if you prefer to go that route. He emails you back the same day and provides study guides for all his tests. The course material is tough though.

I was not looking forward to taking accounting but it was required for my major. I absolutely loved this professor because he took the time to explain things. There is quite a bit of homework but the tests are more important. He gives a study guide for each question on the test so no surprises. I enjoyed taking accounting with him. Highly recommend

Homework takes a long time to complete. Homework is a must in Accounting to pass the exams. Everything is done with the book code, so no book needed. Very straight forward of what he expects and just take it week by week. Exams mirror the homework so nothing tricky there. Prof is good at responding to emails quickly. Would def take again.

Bernard is awesome! Responds to emails quickly and is overall a nice dude! Took his small business management online as an elective, and finished it in two weeks. Take this guy!

Loved this prof. Take it online, easy elective. Buy the learnsmart and do the work. I took the 12 week course, best decision ever. Work at your own pace.

Easy A. Allows you to redo homework and case studies an unlimited amount of times through Pearson portal.

it’s a very easy class. as long as everything is turned in on time you should be fine. he doesn’t accept ANY late work so be sure to keep track of your assignments when it’s due!

Easy class. I took this class online and earned an A. I barely made a C in both accounting classes, so I thought this class would be a challenge. Homework, case studies, and a discussion post due every week. You're allowed 3 attempts to get a 100% on hw and case studies. Tests are open book.

You can work ahead in this class. Each week there is a discussion, homework, assignment, a quiz, etc. He uses MindTap! There is a lot of accounting but in all honesty isn't too bad and everything is open note.
