George is an AWESOME instructor!. He is so friendly and really cares about the students. He really knows his stuff. All the answers to his exams are on the exam prep. sheet he gives. If you study off that you can't get less than 90%. Everyone does well.
doesn't give handouts before lecture, doesn't remember where he left off the class before, he is deaf, or has an ear wax build up and should get that fixed, but he's a nice guy

George is such a nice and caring Instructor! He helps you out if you need clarity about something. His exams are easy, study the prep sheet that he gives. Work hard on projects to get a good mark!
Great teacher. His constant learning checks ensuere your success. He gears his lessons for the learners and really cares to teach well. His notes are so helpful and he really makes it so that you understand not just memorize the material.

The class may seem boring at first but its actually very interesting and usefull when you actually pay attention. George is awesome, his tests are easy if you study. He falls behind now and then but keeps the course going at a good pace. This was a class that i feel i actually took something from that i can use in the future.

well, very unorganized teacher and very confuisng in everything, give mark unfairly and trust a dishonest student and just ingore what the truth is. If you want to give up your team members at the last moment( when the due date is coming) he will accept it ! How nice he is ! If you like being dumped by someone, take his class,good luck! This course is pretty boring but his enthusiasm helps the students learn. Rarely gives homework and midterms are fairly simple. Awesome Prof, i highly recommend him.
An alright teacher....altough he is a little spacey and tends to go off topic. Tests are very easy if you read the text book.

Greater teacher, without a doubt, goes on a "tangent" here and there but his stories are interesting. Helps students understand the theories and topics and a good marker! Make sure you do the review that he gives you before tests because thats exactly the stuff that will be one the exam!

Very dry and boring course. Didn't pay much attention to it but did very well. Overall, George is a great guy. Loved his class and the group work. Just dont get him started on politics.
he's a great teacher. though he goes off the topic too much. his class is fun and he's very helpful. the class is easy unless you study. tests are just memorizing and writing. he is a fair marker. actually easy marker. If you get the question wrong, then try to pursuade him after class or in class whatever, then he'll mark it right. he's a good man
One of the more genuine prof's I've had. Really cares about the class, and very laid back. The class isn't easy, but he makes it interesting.

He tried really hard, and genuinely wanted to help. Unfortunately, he was unorganized, his exam questions and assignments were often unclear and class was dry. His study guides were helpful though, and made studying for exams very straight-forward.
george is a good guy, but give no guidence for the projects, and gives back all grades on the last day of class if your lucky!!! if you talk to him and get feed back you should he able to get an A in his class
Wow. Total stun. This course is super boring and relates nothing to the course description.
George is an excellent instructor. The 3 hour lecture went by in what felt like 1 hour. He posts a study guide for all of his exams, and everything on that study guide is on his exam, no surprises. Take this class if you like working in groups, if not, this is not the class for you. TONS OF GROUP WORK. Downside, George takes FOREVER to mark exams.
he's unorganized, and doesn't allow enough time to copy down notes. notes are not the greatest. he tries, and he's very nice but his teaching isn't very good. i never feel prepared for his tests because i cant really prepare myself due to lack of teaching and notes.
he is a very nice prof and there are no suprises in this course. He gives you an idea of what will be on the midterm, as long as you study all the theories youll do fine! Make sure you know how to apply the theories! attending class helps but u can get through by missing some classes
nice person, but not really a good prof. he's not really organized, but he tries to make the class more interesting and give senses to students about what a real business world is. student cannot get their assignment and group project results even though the final exam held. Good luck.
Never take this guy. He's nice and all but he absolutely CAN'T TEACH. His classes are incredibly boring as he goes of tangent and barely finishes lectures. Zero notes, does not answer emails and is really unorganized and forgetful. Quite an airhead. Don't take him he makes an easy course super hard.

While George is nice...nice isn't what George is paid to do. He is lazy, unorganized, does not respond to e-mails, and does not mark assignments. He is always frazzled in class due to being unprepared. Total waste of time. I spent $400 to learn nothing.

As all the other comments stated, George is such a nice teacher. You won't find a teacher as nice in a university environment, I felt lucky to have him. If you do your work, you'll do fine. He is so helpful but very laid back which explains everyone thinking he's "lazy" which he isn't. He actually cares for his students. I definitely recommend him!
George can seem to be all over the place during his classes, he uses crazy examples but your so engaged in what he has to say cause it seems to silly. But if you listen, he makes the connection and you heard everything he says. Hes a great instructor and wants to see you pass!!
George is a wonderful teacher, extremely approachable and helpful.Class presentations are available online. He will also give the topic lists before the exams.Just Read the book and the presentation slides and you will be fine. Ask questions in or after the class if you have any confusion.He is also a good marker. "This Guy is highly recommended".
I took Essentials of Management with George and it was my least favourite class of the semester. George was a nice and approachable guy but was very scattered in his teaching. Dry classes, nothing but slides. Bad commuinication with what was expected for the project. Only good was the course was easy. I would not take another course from him.
George has an interesting personality, but will keep you engaged in class. Review all material on review sheets for tests and you should receive a good grade.

George gets distracted easily and always wants to share a random story. He is a hard marker for reports. There is a term project worth about 65% of your mark (multiple components). Choose your group wisely because you will be stuck with them! It is tough to get an A in this class. There are no finals and George does not teach you from the textbook.
George is a nice over all professor who is very upbeat and what not but I wouldn't recommend taking his class unless you enjoy participating in every little thing he says. He also enjoys going off topic.. he would say he wants to talk about this but then go off about another. Everything is really scattered and what not and is quite confusing.

No need for text book, everything that you need to know for the exams are in the PowerPoint. Group project was a poster board of taking a product made from Canada to another country. 2 Midterm both had 10 mc and 5 written and final exam was all written. He tells you everything thats going to be on the midterm, and for group projects, he doesn't mind if you kick people out if you have valid reasons. His ppt are almost useless, studied from the text for 80-85% of exams. There is a lot of content for his final exam, but if u study beforehand its fairly easy. He's also an extremely nice guy

George is a very chill instructor. All of his powerpoint presentations are based on the textbook; in addition to that, he is approachable and encourages class participation from time to time. If you want your GPA to boost, you might want to consider attending his class.

In order to do well in his class, you will need to mostly study his powerpoints and the book on your own. I must say his classes are extremely boring and he doesn't know how to get the class engaged.
George is a really nice prof, his major downfall is that he will go off about useless life information for 90% of the class. Prepare to teach yourself everything. He gets distracted by students questions often, but will make some effort to get back on track. I found the class easy and George was helpful. Project was easy along with tests.
Really boring lectures however assignments are very easy and he tells you exactly what is on the midterms and final. Course will definitely boost your GPA.

That being said, it can get a little annoying when you need to contact him or get him to post something up on moodle, but overall he's pretty easy. Friendly and easy-going but has tendency to teach like a Grade 9 teacher and goes on tangents a lot. You MUST attend class to understand concepts. He explains concepts clearly but the textbook/class notes don't. Textbook isn't needed. Tests require some definition memorization, but mainly concept application. Tests are long but no surprises.
His lecture was useless, just read the textbook. Only get grades for two midterms, but have no idea what happened to grades for individual and group report, presentation, and final; he did not post any grades on the moodle site. He missed two lectures due to his own health problem. Rarely reply emails. Spent so many time on this course, worthless.
George is a friendly teacher and he is always there and willing to help you if you need a hand. Class needs participation and there are some group projects needed to be completed during the term. Try to find good group members if you could; otherwise, you will stuck on the work. George is also very knowledgeable and overall I would recommend him.
George is by far the weirdest teacher I've ever had. He often tends to teach the class as if he is speaking to a Grade 7 class. However, his class is very easy to succeed in, he posts study guides online before the exams, and you dont really need to attend class to succeed. There are a couple group projects, the first one is very informal.
Literally the most useless professor I've ever had. I couldn't tell you what we learned because we didn't learn anything. Spent entire lectures ranting about completely random things. Also didn't give us the outline for a giant project worth 30% of our our grade until a week before the due date, after we asked him a million times for it. Brutal

Constantly talked about current events that had nothing to do with what we're learning. all you had to do was the group project (with no clear criteria). No textbook, slides are bad, but overall nice guy.
Rambles on in lectures for at least the first hour about topics not related to school work. Lecture slides are plain and teach nothing. Also, a group project that is based on learnings in class but he does not give clear instructions. He never responds to emails sent to him about help. Recommend to stay away.

Mr. Broderick was an absolute nightmare. Especially in an online environment, he made things super complicated. He never had a clear criteria for his assignments and projects. He did not teach anything. The weekly quizzes he expects us to know based on knowledge from previous courses. Finished course on 11th, still no mark. Very LATE MARKER. AVOID
The best professor i had ever taken. Always extends deadlines for assignments and easy exams. Always try to be practical rather than theoretical. Takes care of his students very much. Highly recommended.

I never used the textbook, his online lectures were good. Can submit assignments early for feedback so you can get a good grade on them, usually answers emails within 2 days. Two groups projects, the second one is big, but he will meet with you and help to ensure success. 4 quizzes, 5 easy assignments 1 midterm, 1 final and the group project

He was behind on marking the entire semester so we got zero feedback until the last 3 weeks. He had to drop assignments because of poor time management on his behalf and numerous technological issues. Lectures were hard to focus on but work was relatively straight forward. No textbook necessary, but weekly prereading required.
George was really great. I got to learn a lot in this class, he also went over some kpu resources which helped me further like the TLC. Aside from that just pay attention to the criteria. Create your own notes, use lots of examples. there was a case study for grp project. and actively participate
George is soo nice, and really does care about his students. That being said the class was a little rough we probably could've gotten all the content we need from him in 30 min - 1 hr and he would use the ENTIRE class chatting and on tangents... Slow on grading but take his class, just bring some homework or something to do during his class times!
He never teaches in class and talks about other useless topics. He gave lots of homework and did not assign any grades till the last day and then assigned some random grade. We were not even able to see the grades and told him many times but he never fixed the issue. Such a horrible experience, never going to take him again.
