George P. Burdell rocks!

He's freakin hilarious. I love how he's been all over the world, so he spends the class period just telling stories. Most quizzes are crossword puzzles. Class projects usually involve some sort of catapault, or something exploding. Best teacher ever.

George Burdell is the most wonderful human being since the history of man. He's like 1/2 Jesus Christ, 1/2 Aristotle, 1/2 Steven Hawkins, and 2/3 BA Barracus. I would sell my soul to the devil to take this course again, just to be in his presence.

What can one say about G. P. Burdell? This dude will still be kicking backsides & taking names centuries after Chuck Norris' sweat glands have run dry & dusty. The only other person who comes anywhere as close to being as worldly & enigmatic is Dr. Wha, But he gave up teaching. LONG LIVE BURDELL!!

Professor Burdell is one of the best instructors that I have had so far at Georgia Tech. I have never had him explain a complicated topic to me that I was not able to fully understand. His class is not easy, but you learn a great deal and the grading is fair. It is exciting to have a teacher who was also a student as he was able to share so much

What else is left to about the man? But I will try. He once counted to infinity, Twice. When Google cant find the answer, they ask George. He can lead a horse to water AND make him drink. He hits blackjack with just one card. Superman wears George Burdell Pajamas. George checkmated Bobby Fisher, using only his king.

Dude, this guy is the best! I heard he once beat the entire UGA football team by himself, with a score 45-0. And how cool is it that he answers your questions before you even ask them! He's got to be psychic. He is the cheese to my macaroni!

The greatest professor/student Tech has ever had. He encompasses what ever student and professor should strive toward in their career here.

Dr. Burdell has been teaching since the 1930's, and is still going strong. If he ever retires, it will only be because GT shuts it's doors. Whenever I talk to a fellow GT alum, we trade stories about him. He is simply awesome!

Above-average for Tech. His office hours are more accessible than most profs. Knows his subject, knows the school-- he's been here FOREVER. Worth taking the class just so you can hear how he stole the T when he was an undergrad. I think everyone can agree that NO ONE is better than GPB.

This guy has taught every subject it seems and is damn good at them all.

Excellent professor. Literally so hot, he's a legend. Can't wait to take more classes with him! Teaches everything from GT1000 to Nuclear Radiology Master's thesis.

Dr. Burdell is faultless. As if his classically handsome good looks aren't enough, he is a true scholar and so accomplished. His THWG101 class was inspired, and his research on the devastating effects of the red and black color combination on brain cells was fascinating. Highly recommend going to his office hours (inside the T of Tech Tower).

Best professor I've ever had by far. Was a student here so he knows what Tech kids go through. He's crazy smart (apparently he has at least a few degrees from Tech). Very spirited and has lots of stories to share that keep things interesting. 10/10. You can do no better.

One of the best professors I've had the pleasure of taking. Always captivating with his lectures. He's one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever known; apparently he has multiple degrees from Tech, which is pretty astounding.

Just an incredible professor. He has a great sense of humor and great personal stories. I don't think there's a better teacher anywhere. His class is a must-take before graduating!

Honestly one of the best professors I have ever had the honor to take a class from. Every teacher at this school is top notch, but Burdell is truly leagues above the rest. I'm so lucky to have had the honor to take his class and I will never forget the lessons I learned from this inspirational man.

Mr. Burdell is just one of those dudes everybody says you gotta get. In class he's the man, cracking jokes left and right while also lecturing. Class went by so fast it was like it never happened. Leaving, I always felt a warm fuzzy feeling and a wanting to return, none of my other profs are like him. Anyways, you'll get an A, 'nough said

If you go through tech without having Dr. Burdell as a professor you're doing something wrong. It's a must have. A perfect balance between not being stressful but still being informative. DON'T MISS OUT

Dr. Burdell isn't just the professor you want to take at Tech, he's the one you absolutely need to take. His lectures go beyond the subject matter to learnings about life itself. The class harkens back to an earlier era when the goal was focused on building the student to someone better rather than just making a grade.

Hands down the best professor to take for this class! Just study the old tests, and you'll be fine. Lectures are hilarious and prof. is very accessible outside of class for office hours. If you have the opportunity to take his class, do it!

I've had wonderful opportunity to take Burdell for CS8803, a notoriously difficult class. Burdell made it so much better, it's almost unbelievable how much of a difference he made.

I took MGT6969 with Dr. Burdell and it's the best class ever. He is nice, funny, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone shows up for his class, even for his 8AM lecture. His motto is "make scheller great again" and we are all inspired. Just by having George as a professor, Scheller should be #1 business school in the nation (Wharton who?).

Dr. Burdell knows everything about everything. You can't ask a question he won't give an answer to, and his explanations are always unbelievably clear.

George P. Burdell is singlehandedly the best professor- nay, person- on the Georgia Tech campus. No one else even compares. Who else can say they have a degree in every major offered at Tech, or won Time's Person of the Year? Taking a class with Burdell gives you the inside knowledge you need to get a 4.0 and steal the T off of Tech Tower. THWG!

I took ME9999 Perpetual Motion Devices with Professor Burdell over the S'Winter semester. It was a really difficult course but with Professor Burdell he made everything fun and engaging.

Dr. Burdell is awesome, don't pass up a chance to take his class.

I took BMED6969 Genome Regeneration with Dr. Burdell on my last semester; it was super hard to get into his class, but I'm glad I was able to take him on my last semester. Would definitely recommend any BME to take any of his courses. Best professor at Tech!

Burdell is out of this world. He is the ideal professor. He gives out soooo much extra credit, and the tests are take-home and very straightforward. Attendance is optional. Just be there in spirit lol. He fed us lunch every week with cheesecake and allowed us all to take naps in class. He's legendary.

I cant believe it, this prof single handedly raised GT as a top engineering school in the country. It is insane how much this prof knows, they are the peak representation of all of humanities finest achievements concentrated into one person.

It seems like Dr Burdell has been at Tech forever. Even so, he is still mentally sharp despite his advanced age. He sometimes brings his dog, Sideways, into class. That dog gets along with everyone. The wisdom that Dr Burdell shares with his students extends well beyond the scope of this class. I will be forever grateful to him for his insights.

I am a better human after taking Professor Burdell's class! So is my wife! We don't have kids, but when we do, they too will be better humans because I took this class! I have never experienced a class like this. You walk in the door, sit down, and then walk right out 1000% smarter. Opposite of that dump in Athens. Thank you Professor Burdell!

Absolutely amazing prof! Cannot say enough good things about him - truthfully so much better after taking his class, he really showed me what it meant to be a Helluva Engineer! His feedback was always EXTREMELY helpful - Honestly a hero.

He was my Hindi professor freshman year, I can't even begin to list everything he's done for me. He doesn't even speak Hindi but I'm fluent now. Prof Burdell is a legend in every sense of the word. If you ever get the chance, take his class.

George Burrell is by far one of the BEST professors at GA Tech, if you couldn't tell by his 139 5-star ratings and 0 1-star ratings. I had him for THWG1000: his hatred for UGA was apparent in every lecture. He taught us how to say "To Hell With Georgia" in Hindi, Welsh, Arabic, Hebrew, and Uzbek. I will miss having him as my professor.

Walked into class and saw Dr Burdell swimming through land on his way to the lectern. About halfway through the lecture he got a call from the avengers requesting his assistance so he had to leave a bit early but it was alright because on the way out he dunked on Shaquille O' Neil from half court.

Professor Burdell is a legend at GT. His THWG1001 class is a blast - lectures at 3:33 AM, learning to diss UGA in multiple languages, and ChatGPT/unstuck study to ace the course.

What an amazing professor. He is the GOAT when it comes to this class. He is very knowledgable and seems to know everything. Not very accessible outside of class though, don't really ever see him. But he is great and would def take again.

BUZZZ BUZZZ GIRLIES!

I remember finding Prof. Burdell's class as a freshman, wondering if I'd made the right call coming to GT. I sat in on his class after getting lost, and was enraptured. By the end, I was ready to take on GT. But when I came back the next week, the classroom wasn't there. It was then I realized, you don't find Prof. Burdell. Prof. Burdell finds you.

He's an incredible teacher who taught us the ways and traditions of Georgia Tech, including how to be helluva engineer. Everyone gets an A++ except business majors and u[sic]ga students but you learn so much as well. 10/10 would recommend.
