These ratings made me nervous to take him and my whole class loves him. Sorry you got a bad grade. I dont know how. but dont delete good ratings. That's pointless.

It's sad that he's gotten such poor ratings. I LOVE him! He's hilarious, cracks jokes all the time, and the SOC1160 class is probably the easiest class I've taken, and I've still learned a lot. TAKE HIM.

This teacher is honestly amazing. His ratings are definitely too low! He is opinionated but he is hilarious and cares about all of his students. He is easy to get in contact with. I took him for a summer course and loved it. He grades very reasonably. EASY!

He is a great and passionate teacher. He does have an accent, but it doesn't affect the class. It will take time to get used to but, he will tell you everything you need to know beforehand. Take him if you are looking for an easy A.

I really enjoyed his intro to marriage and family class. He can be opinionated but not in an offensive manner. We had a lot of awesome class discussions and it was a very easy and interesting class. He is laid back and very nice. I definitely recommend him.

He is a great teacher. He made class fun. Took the maymester, was pretty easy, but alot of stuff in a 3 week session. Take him, he is wonderful.

Very good teacher. Walks thru the info, you have focused learning with study guides & test are the same as study guides. You appreciate your community/others once you are finished. Highly recommend. I took it may semester, it was intense, but informative. You will do very well if you simply do the work.

Professor Danns is so smart, he'll walk you through all the powerpoint. He's funny and tries to make class fun. His test are the same as his study guides so if you study them you should be okay.Just a few papers to write and a group presentation.

i'm suprised that there would be any negative comments on here about Professor Danns. he is really a great guy. always approachable & willing to help out w/any questions you might have. as far as too many group projects, there are a few but they are soooo easy!!! he was awesome. this class is a breeze & so easy i often forgot i even had it.

Dr.Danns is a great professor. My only complaint is that his accent is a bit hard to understand sometimes. Its not about reading and memorizing book material but about learning. I took more in his class than I have in any other at GSC in my last 4 years here. It was practical and it was real. Highly recommended.

Professor Danns is one of my favorites! His test are really easy they are straight from the study guide and his lectures are interesting! He makes you want to learn and come to class! You can tell he loves teaching and he is great at it! I am so glad I took this class!!!

LOVED Dr. Danns. A lot of work in the class, i.e. projects, food drives, papers, quizzes and tests but very worth it. Test come straight from quizzes. Very entertaining prof who delves into sociology and it's problems. A lot of good discussions in class on how to fix society's problems. Very funny prof and helpful. Wants every student to succeed!!!

Dr. Danns is a wonderful teacher. Very realistic. Thick accent, but had no trouble following along. Gives answers to quizzes, which are identical to the test. Online discussions, some small essays. Made this course very relevant.

Easy class if you do the work. He gives you a study guide exactly like the test. Thick accent that you can get used to after 3 days. Friendly, funny, easy to get along with. Fun class

He is an absolute hoot. Easy class and assignments, do not really need to buy the book except to use on one assignment. He gives all the answers to the tests. he loves videos, will lecture. But he will have you cracking up. If you dont do good in this class, you didnt try,

We had 4 modules, tests 2 essays per module (25 pts each) and 50 multiple choice ?'s which he goes over before the test. Also one group project, a biography essay and family biography essay. Just SHOW UP for class. Attendance is only 25 points overall, so it won't affect your grade much, but he HATES it when people skip class. Great class overall

Honestly, I wish he taught every class. Only con is he has an accent. He cared about the class and the students, and was an awesome life coach. He was helpful with late assignments and easy to work with. I definitely recommend taking his courses any chance you get.

Great Professor! Its hard to fail his class. Somewhat lenient on due dates and gives study guides for his test. Would take him every semester if I could.

He is a great teacher. Took online intro to social problems. A discussion& quiz every week. (EASY) 3 Group projects online. If someone in the group doesn't do their work he expects you to do it, which sucks but I got through it. Would def recommend if you're looking for an easy A. Also is willing to give you extra points on papers and quizzes.

EASIEST A EVER. I was literally so close to making a 100 in the class.. Tests answers were given clear as day.. Only down side was that you had to study 200 and he only gave you 50 out of those 200. He also lectured before exams.. AKA more time to study. EASY EASY EASY. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK

VERY easy. Goes on and on about race and gender inequality which gets annoying fast. Test are super easy. Study guide with exact questions given. 1 major group project. Does not care if you have slackers in your group. He will make you do it all. Overall, nice guy and very easy class. Don't buy the book!

Professor Danns is a nice, easy going professor. His lectures do tend to drag on, but he's charismatic enough to keep you interested. His class in incredibly easy, and if you don't do well, you only have yourself to blame. I don't know if I would recommend his class to a sociology major though. Still, he's very helpful, and a good man. Good class.

He gives you the study guides which are identical to the tests. However, he doesn't lecture on sociology, but he tests on it. As long as you can memorize you will get an A.

Super sweet professor! Does a great job in lecture. Lecture can get off topic.. Best to take for a May-mester or first session summer class. Four tests and a final plus a couple easy projects.

The easiest A on your college transcript. No book required. You don't need to pay attention to his lectures. Memorization and regurgitation skills need to be on point. Study guide for each exam is around 200 questions, and 50 of them will be on the test-- all identical. Put some time aside for studying. He allows retakes.

Really awesome professor! He is a very sweet man and he genuinely cares about his students and people in general. Yes he can be quite opinionated but if you sit back and listen you can definitely learn from his presentations. My advice would be to pay attention in lectures, study your practice quizzes, and you will pass with an A.

Take him! I never took notes. Just memorize the study guide questions. Easy A! 4 test, 1 final, 1 group project. It an easy A. Don't buy the textbook.

He is a very funny but opinionated person. If you are easily offended, get ready to be triggered every class. He responds to questions and gives grades back very quickly and he is not a tough grader by any stretch of the imagination. The toughest part of of the class is the group project but I did it the night before and got an A. Overall, not bad.

I took his online course and it was a breeze if you go through the material you can get an A and most things have quizlets to help you study especially for the quizzes! There's a quiz weekly along with discussions but very few assignments in between.

All he does the entire class is lecture off slide shows. I didn't speak up one time in the class and never was asked to, he actually prefers you don't speak up. Practice tests have the identical questions and answers as the real test and he gives you the answers in class. The only hard assignment was the second paper.

I took Dr. Danns for an online class and it was probably the easiest class I've taken in college. If you're looking for an easy A I would recommend taking his Intro to Social Problems class online!

Study Guides are exactly like his tests, his class is super easy and he does not make it difficult at all. Attendance is required for grade. Listen to the reviews, hes awesome!!

One of my favorite professors at UNG. Gives great feedback on discussion posts, challenges deeper thoughts, and is always smiling when you see him in the halls. He is a fair grader, and grades quickly. For an online class, I would recommend taking him. Hes super organized, fair workload, and very communicative.

Greatest prof at UNG if youre looking at grad school after you graduate- he has so much knowledge to offer, is passionate about sociology and politics, and really cares about his students. If you show him respect, participate in class, turn in quality assignments, you will earn his respect. UNG is lucky to have him in the sociology department

He's a great professor. Very passionate about sociology. Lectures are fun and interesting. Study the practice quizzes because they are extremely similar to the exams. Group project is easy as long as you follow his instructions. Very easy A.

Dr. Danns is incredibly intelligent, and he expects his students to work hard for their grades. His SOCI1101 class includes a weekly 50 question proctored exam that counts for 700 of your 1135 points in the class. If you arent willing to commit to the process of retaining the info, dont take his class. If you commit, it is an easy A.

Dr. Dann's online was not a bad professor. There is a lot of reading and weekly papers, but they were not too difficult. He likes it when you put things in your papers that relate to your life. There weren't any group projects or multiple choice tests.

Dr. Danns is a wonderful professor. He is incredibly caring and genuine in his approach. He does require participation and effort in his class, so do not take him if you are not interested in putting in the effort.

I am a poli sci major, so I took this class as an elective. It was an easy chill class. The weekly reading and assignments are clear. Each week it will flip between a CAJ and a Unit reaction essay. With a small discussion board every week. Later there is a paper and the final exam. As long as you read the book you will do well! He replies quickly.

He was amazing! Kind professor and very helpful with any questions i had. Very fast feedback. 10/10 would recommend !
