Dr. Gannage is one of the most helpful professors I've had at KSU. He will always work with you to correct your mistakes, is prompt in answering emails, and is so encouraging!! Definitely take him.

Professor Gannage came mid-semester and replaced our other teacher .At first, he was more tough than she was. But, in the end the class was an Easy A if you did the work and studied. Powerpoints posted online, tests online. Study guides not very helpful, but he saved my semester by bumping me up 2 points to an A. He will help however he can!

Dr. G is an amazing professor. As a marketing major, I learned a lot in his class that prepared me for future endeavors. He has experience in the field translates concepts learned in the class with real-world experiences. There is one long group project in the form of a marketing plan, but with a good group, work can be divided up and isn't bad.

He does put people on the spot a lot, but its more of a conversation class- he wants people to talk with him. The case studies are lengthy, but he gives great feedback. I took his Basic Retailing, MKTG 4300, over the summer and it was a great experience. He had long lectures, but he kept them amusing and interesting without seeming to try too hard. This was a pretty straightforward class. The retail game was interesting and better than doing a business plan! The tests were difficult because you have to have a full understanding of the terms, so READ THE BOOK!! He lectures but it's not dry because he adds his personal experience.

He is a great professor. He wants you to pass and gives out extra credit opportunities. Quizzes are easy. Tests are a little difficult make sure to study quizzes and notes for exams. Participation matters if you want the extra credit he gives for attending. Grading criteria is clear and helps with examples for the major group project.

Dr. Gannage is probably one of the most respected professors at KSU. He is understanding and has a great personality. He makes class entertaining and uses real life experiences to connect with the course criteria. His tests are pretty tough but he's a fair grader for other assignments. IT WAS REALLY HARD TO STUDY FOR THE TESTS BUT ALL OTHER ASSIGNMENTS ARE SUPER EASY!

Tests are tough. Give study guide. Not many assignment for the class. Group project wasn't bad.

Dr. G replaced initial instructor just after first exam. Transition: painless. He engaged the class in his lectures and made each session interesting. Exams online with grade being the best of two attempts (1 in lock down browser). Group marketing plan and presentation mandatory. Non-marketing major but would take another class, if it's with Dr. G.

Dr. Gannage is a professor that gives as much as he receives. If you don't go to class(required) or participate, then expect to learn much. He is probably one of the most approachable professors at KSU and always willing to help. Take advantage of the extra credit opportunities, do the quizzes and you will do fine in the course.

This class was overall a quality class. The professor taught what needed to be taught, but watch out for the group project. You will be teamed up against the whole class and there's a 15 page paper at the end of it. The case studies are easy and he has 2 tests and a final. Don't skip and study hard, you'll do fine.

2 Exams + Cumulative Final of all 24 chapters of the book. He did not create the exams so what you learn in Dr. Gannage's class isn't always what you will be tested on. The Exams are challenging to say the least so prep hard. If it weren't for the Exams, this class would be a breeze. 4 papers and a group project over the duration of the semester

Dr. G is a great professor. I highly recommend taking his class. He lists all projects, exams, and papers in the syllabus. He provides great guidelines and examples for all projects. He gives a study guide for the 3 exams making it easy to study. As long as you show up to class and follow the syllabus, this class will be a great class for you.

I strongly recommend taking Dr. G. He is a fair grader and if you mess up on a assignment he gives you an extension on the assignments. Test are straightforward. Take good notes open note test you should pass the class. Instead of doing a traditional marketing project you play a pretty cool simulation game instead. Good teacher

I enjoyed taking Dr. G class. This semester was extremely rough for me and he provided me with the assistance needed to pass his class. Professor Gannage tells you from day one what he expects from you as a student and the key to passing his class. He gives clear instructions and is always willing to help after class if you have any questions. He is knowledgable about the topics discussed in class and explains them in detail, in a way that you can understand.

Great teacher for Marketing 3100!

Dr. Gannage is very strait forward and is very flexible. He works with his students and allows for tests to be proctored outside of class. He offered two separate dates to take the final exam which is not cumulative. Only two other test other than the final. He is very animated and is passionate about marketing. Definitely recommend taking him.

Easy class, hard test.

His style of class is all over the place and test are made from a giant test bank. The material in the test is not common knowledge so you better find a good way to remember the test bank questions! The test are open note though, didnt help me.

Dr. Gannage is very funny and easy going. Assigns two case studies, two article reviews and three tests. Everything is pretty clear cut from his notes. Tests are open notes and provides a test bank to study from. Overall if you do the work, you'll make an A.

Dr. Gannage is a good guy. His tests are very tough, though. The quizzes use a test bank that he later uses for the tests. The key to this class is to study the test bank after the quiz. The bank is huge. You have to get the book for the 4 papers you will write. The papers are simple, even though instructions are not very clear for any assignment.

Tests are based upon the quizzes given weekly. Keeps lecturing interesting and how it relates to the real world. Would def take again!

Dr. Gannage is intentional on teaching the material. He also posts all of the power points and provides a database of what the tests will cover. The book is essential due to case studies and a couple of essays. If you are not clear on anything, then he would be glad show you.

This class was not what I expected but in a good way. Gives extra credit. Can use notes on the test. There is a group project/game that is important and impacts your grade greatly so pick wisely! He cracks jokes, and makes the class time worth it.

Study quizzes to pass the Tests. About 800 questions a piece to study for each one. Group work that is not difficult but requires participation. 2 articles reviews, 2 case studies, 10 quizzes.
