Kvernadze is a great instructor. He makes the concepts easier to grasp.

He is a great teacher, but doesn't hand you your grade on a silver platter. He expects you to do the work that's assigned and study hard for the exams. I definitely learned a lot though.

Yeah, he is a great teacher who will really challeng e you to learn things. Instead of assignments, he gives little mini quizzes once a week. It is not a bad system, and he includes a (coff... really stupid) math joke on each one. You'll laugh at them, then you'll feel ashamed.

Dr. K is freakin awesome! He makes math easy to understand and is all about helping his students do their best. He doesn't want any of his students to fail so he does whatever he can to help you. Weber's math department totally sucks, but I would recommend Dr. K to anyone!

Awesome. I definitely recommend taking math from him. He has an accent, but he explains the problems and examples well. You must take good notes and attend class, thats pretty much all ya have to do. He gives quizzes every week from the homework, with a lame joke on them. His tests can be hard, but he gives a pretty good pre-test of whats on test.

Very helpful teacher. Test are hard but you get to drop one and quizzes are every week and you drop two of those. Very great professor overall and would reccomend highly. I learned alot from this class.

Great teacher. I altered my schedule to have him for Calc2. His grading is more than fair (he will drop a low test or quizes). Homework isn't handed in, but is the basis for all quizes. You always know what is expected.

I'm very pleased with my experience with Dr. K. His accent is a little tough to get used to, but he really knows his stuff. Weekly quizzes keep you on your game and he is VERY fair at his grading policies, but DON'T expect an easy A. Do your work or pay the price! He teaches a bunch of upper d math and you can tell that he loves it. Big thumbs up!

Excellent teacher; probably one of the best of the department! He has an accent but is still very clear. He's funny and homework isn't turned in; weekly quizzes take its place. We had three midterms and the quizzes collectively counted as the fourth. The lowest grade of the four is dropped. The final is equivalent to two midterms.

He is a great teacher. He loves math and is very good at explaining it in terms that students can understand. He grades fairly as well.

If you don't do the homework, you won't do good on the quizzes you have every Friday. The tests are hard if you don't do the practice test. You don't know what to expect and then you bomb it. Memorizing formulas is a must. If you get lost, it's hard to get caught back up. He's funny and you can tell he loves the subject. Study study study!

It's Math 1010, it's going to be rough with any teacher. When I was in this class I felt that he did a great job teaching and would stop to answer questions. Make sure that you study hard, really hard, and you'll do fine.

Dr. K is a cool, funny guy. Effort in his class depends on your natural skill level. He generally picks easy homework problems for the weekly quizzes, but tests are a bit harder. Take good notes & review them a lot, do not fall behind! If you don't understand something, ask for help so you don't get lost later because his classes move very fast!

He is very good at teaching and simplifies complicated topics. At this level without attending his class you won't do good even though attendance isn't mandatory. He gives you alot of time for midterms and finals and practice tests are a good preperation. Formulas must be memorized.He can be quiet funny at times and you get a math joke with quizzes

Took his 1st block summer trig, and it moves FAST! Ask questions as fast as you have them or he'll move on. If you think you will need extra help, sit on front rows or on the end of isles as he tends to pace and check those papers he can easily review. Good teacher, sexy accent. Willing to help and happy to see you in his office.

Dr. K. is the best math teacher at Weber. He wants you to understand the material and has a systematic, clear way of explaining the topics. He is a very fair grader. If you have questions he is more than willing to answer them.

His tests only include problems related to the topics on the review sheet, so no surprises during the test. Very helpful and quick email replies. Can simplify complex topics by painting a clear mental picture with his explanations. He does not use Mathematica so consider Dr. Ghoreishi if you would like to have that. Also good sense of humor.

He is my favorite math professor at Weber. He is able to explain concepts very well and is willing to go over methods that students should have known from prev. math classes. His lectures are structured in a way that is logical, well-organized, & clear. 12 quizzes 4 tests including a comp. final. But in the end, he drops three of your lowest grades. Dr. K is an awesome teacher! He is extremely fair in his grading, you may get the answer wrong, but if you know the equation and show it in the work he will give you most of the points. He tries to help everyone understand the hard concepts taught. His quizzes are easy, the tests are harder, but he will drop the lowest score. He is very fair.

No homework turning in, he has hw down though, for your own practice. Teaches, than last day of each wk he'll give a quiz. 1-2 quiz prob, and from the hw. he teaches from the book. His test reviews tends not to be anything like the test. Will have to do lots of studying to pass the exams.

Calculus is a daunting course, but Dr. K really did the best he could to help people understand. He did not throw any curve balls your way and you knew exactly what to expect on the tests. Overall, the best math teacher I have ever had.

Knows where students struggle and more time is given to those areas in class. Clear, and makes math interesting without being cheesy. It's ahrd to imagine a better math professor. He makes things incredibly clear, walks you through the work step-by-step, and doesn't make tests or quizzes unnecessarily hard. There are no assignments due, but there are weekly quizzes. I look forward to taking more classes form Dr. K.

Great guy, make sure you DO THE HOMEWORK before each quiz and STUDY the sheets he gives you for each test. If you do that, an A isn't that hard!

I enjoyed Dr. K's approach to teaching this topic. Concepts were presented logically and tied together with previous ones every lecture. Tests were always harder than practice exams, but perfectly passable if you came to class, studied, and did the homework. He's always willing to answer questions after class.

Doctor K is a great professor, he's always willing to help if you have questions the material is hard but he explains it in different ways to try and help you understand it! Take his class.

He knows his stuff. Easily one of the smartest, and kind. Self-motivated students will do best. He gives great lectures, but homework is optional so it's up to you whether you practice what he's taught. If his lecture feels like he is spewing out information from the top of his head, he's not: he teaches exactly from the text he has memorized.

I took the class for 1050. Here is the deal. English is not his first language, yet he still manages to teach the class well. Everyone in my class seemed to understand his teaching. On top of that he is funny and provides a good grading scale to ensure you pass. For example tests have 2 questions, one for full points, and one for partial points.

The class itself is somewhat difficult, but he did a solid job of teaching the concepts. I believe he does a good job. Homework is not required, but you definitely need to put in extra work outside of class in order to get a high grade. Grade is based off quizzes and tests only. I would recommend.

Kvernadze is my favorite math teacher so far. He made good use of time but would stop for questions if clarification was needed. I took the night class, and there was a quiz every Wednesday. He drops 2 quiz scores and one test score. There were 3 tests before the Final. Study really hard and pay attention in class, and you'll do fine.

The absolute best mathematics professor at Weber State. He is entertaining, understanding, and works through problems completely to show as many steps as possible. The effort you put in will reflect your grade. Especially with the homework, his quizzes every week are directly from the textbook homework problems.

He puts your grade in your own hands. There is no curve to his class, but he drops one of three exams, and one of 11 quizzes. If you do the homework(Which is not graded or collected) and study for the exams, Calc II will be an easy course. If you don't show up for class, and neglect the homework, there will be no one to blame but yourself.

Weekly quizzes that go over assigned homework give you a good idea of how you are doing in the class. He does not require attendance, but there is a quiz each Friday at the start of class that you have to be there to take. Quizzes are not worth too much of your grade compared to exams.

I'm a Senior and I can say that this is my favorite Math Professor I've had during my a entire time at Weber State. I've had good ones, but I thought he was the most fair in the way he grades and in what he expects as well as the most helpful in teaching the material and using lecture time to help you understand the concepts.

Attendance isn't mandatory grade-wise, but I'd highly recommend attending his lectures and taking copious notes.

He is one of the better math teachers that I have had. He has a quiz at the end of every week. As long as you do the homework you will be just fine with those. The tests aren't too bad, but he gives you an option between a 10 point question and an 8 point question that you can choose between for every question which helps. He also drops a test.

I liked Dr. K. His testing style was unique and I thought really helped. He would give you the option of two questions to choose from instead of one. One of the questions was easier but worth less points. It was an awesome way to do tests. He quizzes at the end of each week. I'd take from Dr. K again.

Dr. K's method of teaching basically says, "Don't overthink this, use what you know to get what you need to know." He gives practice exams that prepare you really well for the tests and he gives weekly quizzes on important concepts for the tests. He does a lot to help you, you just need to know how to help yourself. Great professor overall.

Usually with difficult classes if a student doesn't receive the grade they want... They blame it on a bad teacher. Sometimes, it does depend on the teacher. However, that's not Prof K. He does teach complicated subjects that can be difficult to understand. However, he is one of the best math teachers I've taken; Hard work in this class does pay off

The final was way hard but in his defense, he didn't write it because it was a general calc 2 final. All of my other math grades were C's but Dr K test were really straight forward.

His class is based only on tests and quizzes, no required homework, would recommend doing it though, his quizzes are straight from the homework. his tests are difficult, but not impossible. Attendance is not required, but I would recommend it. Don't have to have textbook, but it is helpful. Has a Russian Accent this thick at times

Dr. K is great! I have taken all my Calculus classes with him. He is very intelligent and knows the material very well. There is homework but you do not have to turn it in because the quizzes are based off of the homework problems. He drops your lowest 2 quizzes and 1 test at the end of the semester which really helps.

Dr. K is amazing. I first took Calc 1 with Walters and completely failed. But when I retook it with Dr. K everything made sense. He wants every single one of them to succeed. If you do his study guide you will do just fine. He prepared us for the final so well I went in overly prepared. The final was so easy compared to his midterms.

Professor K is amazing, but a fair warning, TESTS and QUIZZES are EVERYTHING!!!!!! If you do not do the homework, you will not get a good grade. Do the homework, and you will do fine! Take it from him!

Dr K. provided video lectures for this class so daily attendance isn't strictly required, except for the end-of-week quiz. He drops one midterm and the lowest quiz. Both really help take the pressure off. I will take Dr. K for every math class I can.

great professor. Gives you a test where you get to choose 8 pt or 10 pt questions, so if you don't know how to do the 10 pt question you still get a chance to get 8 pts. He teaches well and is a good guy. Use the website slader and you will do just fine.

Pretty solid teacher, but can be can be a little tough to understand sometimes. This was a half-block course, so it was pretty tough, but he was fair with the amount of homework/quizzes. The one midterm and one comprehensive final were pretty hard.

I have never liked math and this class intimidated me, but I enjoyed Dr. K's lectures so much. I took this as an accelerated class over the summer, it was the first time it was done this way and it was great. Dr K would record all of his lectures and post them if you didn't make it to class. He also does excellent test reviews. Amazing class!

Dr. K is amazing. He records all his lectures live and posts them on canvas so if you can't make it to class, or need to revisit a topic, you can just watch the lectures. His reviews are extremely useful and he also writes lecture notes which are definitely worth reading. You can tell he really enjoys teaching and wants his students to succeed.

He also does give out partial credit which is a huge help. He also records his lectures so if you ever miss a day it is no big deal.

He teaches tricks and tips to help make things easier to understand. You don't need to be in class due to recorded lectures but it is worth your time to be there. He's a fantastic professor. I liked that he allowed us to choose between doing the homework and a quizusually given on Friday. Toward the end of the semester, when I got extremely busy, that was a godsend. I also liked that he recorded all of his lectures. He'll give you the formulas in the tests so you don't have to deal with rote memorization.

Enjoyed his class quite a bit. PreCalc with Dr. K was much easier to understand, and much more fun, than other attempts at the course in the past. I've recommended his classes to any of my friends who mention difficulties with the subject.

Hes excellent at choosing hard homework problems to do in class so you know how to do them, hes already recorded his live lectures, so covid online classes are almost like being in class with him, you just get to pick when you watch the vids. It was such a great setup for me.

Many math instructors have struggled to adjust during COVID. Dr. K has excelled. He recorded all of his pre-COVID in-person classes and posts these as his base lectures. This means you're free to (re)watch them at any time while maintaining the effectiveness of a live lecture. We met 1-2 times a week on Zoom to ask questions and review for exams.

He is an amazing professor! He was easy to get a hold of outside of class and didn't care that I had a tone of questions. I had the class virtually, which I could attend when I wanted, but I would recommend that you attend! He will work with you if you contact him ahead of time!

Calculus is definitely a hard class but Professor Kvernadze was absolutely amazing. He was always asking for ways that he could do better and gave amazing lectures that were easy to understand. He also does weekly homework questions and will walk you through every step so that there's no confusion. He is the best professor I've ever had.

Dr. K was a great Calc 1 professor. I had to put in a lot of work but it was worth it. Go to class! HW was optional, you could either turn it in or take a 2 question quiz every week, your choice. I always did the HW to be more prepared. Tests/exams are about 60% of your grade but he drops one midterm and two quizzes/HW assignments.

Dr. K is the most intelligent, but humble person I've ever met. He makes some of the hardest, most abstract problems seem easy, which can be intimidating at first, but his ability to explain things is next to none. I can't imagine taking calculus from anyone else. quiz or homework due weekly, except for exam weeks. 3 exams and the final.

Professor K. is a swag guy, i took his online calculus 2 class and throughout the semester there were 11 homework assignments, 3 exams, and a final exam. as long as you watch the online lectures and do the homework and exam reviews, you'll do fine. he also drops your lowest exam score and a homework assignment or two at the end of the semester.

If you're not taking your math classes from Dr. K, you're doing it wrong. Calc 3 was tough, but the way he grades and his testing format is awesome. You watch, but it was a covid summer, so I can only imagine in person would be better. But the videos were great, he is very accessible and willing to help.

He is a real gem! The way his tests and quizzes are graded is very helpful, with fantastic and concise feedback that leads you to the correct solution. Really helpful! Definitely, the best calculus prof I had. His office hours are very helpful and he breaks topics down really well. He doesn't just teach the how of math. He helps you understand what exactly you're doing which was helpful in Calc 3 especially.

He has his past lectures recorded and records the lecture during class for reviewing later. He wants to make sure you know the math not just pass the class.

This teacher is the absolute best math teacher I have ever had! This is your set you have one homework a week with AT MOST 8 problems or you can take a 2 question quiz at the end of the week he only grades those two questions that were put on the quiz. The nice thing is he goes through examples and goes through homework problems as a class.

This professor is amazing! His lectures are so clear and he actually explains why the math works. He also includes quick reviews from previous courses on things you need to know to understand the current math, so you aren't going into the assignments confused and frustrated.

I took the summer online course from Dr. K and it was amazing. All of his lectures were very helpful with the homework. The homework is the test bank for the quizzes, which are due weekly. He goes over everything you need to succeed in this course and is always available for help. He is very engaging as well

Great teacher, when you take the class from him, you will understand all of the information in the course. The thing that I liked about his class the most though was the test, he would give you a much easier option for the majority of the points or a difficult question for all of the points.

Second semester taking his course, I took Calc 1 and now Integral Calculus. He did get a little mixed up during the semester about which sections we were going over, but he did good at making sure we understood the material. A lot of formulas to memorize, but knowing he's recorded the lectures helps a ton. Wouldn't recommend anyone else

Dr. K is a fantastic professor. He records his lectures with a good quality, solves complicated examples from the textbook, and his reviews cover all the topics seen in the tests. He is willing to help with any problem and cares about the solution process rather than just if the answer was correct or not. He explains math in a way that makes sense.

Dr. K was a great professor and I would recommend highly recommend his online MATH 1210 course. The course material was presented in a way that was really easy to understand and learn from. Not too heavy on homework. Three exams and a final. I liked the "differentiated assessment" exam format. Best math professor I've had.

Amazing professor. Made the mistake of not watching any lectures. Barely passed the class, couldn't rely on textbook alone. He has amazing lectures and the homework/tests match closely, very reasonable grader. Knows what he's doing and enjoys his work. Respect him as a professor and would like to take future math classes from him.

Dr K. is the best math professor I've ever had. He made calculus 2 a super enjoyable class. He has 10/8 pointer options in the exams and he will drop your lowest exam and homework. He cares about his students and his lectures are AMAZING.

He was an amazing teacher, honestly probably could've gotten an A if I studied more for the last test. Been teaching for a while so everything's laid out and mine was an in person class but I never went and just watched the videos he posted online and he was fine with that. He's a really good teacher and knows what he's talking about. Loved him.

Best math professor I have ever had in my life! I like to delve deep into math concepts to understand how they work, and Dr. K always took as much time as I needed after class to make it click. Some topics in Calc II can be quite challenging to grasp, but he gave intuitive explanations that were easy to follow and gave me that "aha!" feeling.

Dr. K is a great professor. Practice exams are essentially the same as the real ones, with different numbers. He provides up to 5 extra points for identifying errors, whether they are grammatical or mathematical. He's also funny which is good since math can sometimes get boring. He also records his lectures which is a great tool for review.

Makes math a whole lot easier, explains things in a really great way. The tests are just what you would expect from the homework, very fair, and he often provides easier, alternate problems on the tests that are worth less points.

Incredible professor. The class is graded on 11 homework assignments, 3 mid term exams and 1 final. He drops your 2 lowest homework scores and your lowest midterm exam. All lectures are live streamed via zoom and later a recording is uploaded on canvas for further use as necessary. Your final grade will match the amount of effort you put in.

I usually struggle with math subjects, but Dr. K made Calc II a breeze. His lectures are incredibly thorough and make the subject very easy to understand. He also seemed really nice and approachable. I wasn't able to attend classes in-person, but he records all of his lectures and posts them after class. Easily the best professor I've had.

Hands down best math professor I have ever had. By an absolute incomparable quantity. This guy is a legend. Complex ideas broken down into simplicity. Super organized. He also makes funny little memes and videos during the semester which is a cool bonus. If I could afford to tip this guy I would. Probably the best professor I have ever seen tbh.

Like many I found Calc 1 terrifying going into it, Dr.K eased my worries so much. He was an awesome professor and made Calc 1 a breeze, highly recommend.

Dr. K made Calc 1 a breeze. His clear lectures, fair assessments, and helpful resources like unstuck ai made this challenging course manageable. Definitely take MATH1210 with him if you can.

I was skeptical about taking calc online but I'd prefer his online class to any other. Being able to pause to take good notes and process info is a huge help. Light, easy workload. Reviews every wk and before each exam. Great practice exams. He makes it easy to understand, fun to learn, and easy to not just pass but place well. Plus he's hilarious.

Super great professor. He is great at simplifying tough math concepts and really taught me so much. He's pretty funny and doesn't just teach you he also learns from you and adapts the class to the needs. Though this is an in-person course I was able to take this class online. I learned a lot and had a great time doing. Would highly recommend!

I was terrified of taking an online calc class, but Dr K is an amazing teacher. The course load is surprisingly light. You get one assignment weekly and 3 exams + final. If you are good at studying for exams this is the class for you. 4 credits online, but it feels easier. Not a cakewalk, but also not crazy hard. Dr K is also an awesome dude.

Incredible professor I took calculus 1210 and 1220 with him. These classes were easier than math class I've taken before. He teaches clearly and takes the time to make sure students understand the material. The way he does homework, quizzes and exams is different but ultimately benefitted my learning and eased test anxiety. 10/10 Would recommend!

I took Math 1210 and 1220 with Professor K. He made hard concepts easy to understand. His test are fair, assignments are done in class (quiz is optional). He is very funny.

The in person lectures are incredible and they are posted online usually the same day as the lecture in high quality. I learned so much in his class and benefited greatly from his teaching.

Professor K is fantastic. He clearly loves math a lot, and he makes learning enjoyable. He's strict about homework deadlines, so make sure to turn homework in on time. He makes sure to give the class breaks when needed. I withdrew from the class for unrelated reasons, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Professor K's class.

Dr. K's teaching style made Calculus actually enjoyable, and while he is a tough grader, if you pay attention in class you'll do fine. I got lazy towards the end and got a B, but he also drops the lowest midterm grade. There's usually a waitlist, but if you can take this class, absolutely do it. PS: HE IS ONLY AT DAVIS CAMPUS OR ONLINE, NOT OGDEN!

I am not a math savvy person and was very scared to take calc. Prof K made this class a BREEZE online. It's very well set up on canvas and his lectures are incredible. The homework/reviews actually match *exactly* what is on the exams. Drops your lowest exam and homework grade. Hard class naturally but very doable online with this professor.

The greatest math professor at WSU. I was initially worried about Calc II, but it is a breeze with him because his teaching style is very clear and you are well prepared for any and all exams. He uploads the lectures and the quality is great. I would not want to take math from anyone else because it is so good with him.
