He explains the examples from the book, but good luck with understanding the problems on his test which are much harder than what he goes over in class! (This was an in-person class with online tests)

He's very patient and willing to hlep. He does talk a lot about stuff that does not relate to the class and it gets annoying after a while. He's funny and not hard at all on students. His tests are online and are similar to what you do in class. DO THE HOMEWORK, read the book, know your stuff and have formulas at hand before tests. I got an A.

Our class loved him! He was very accomodating, and always up for suggestions on ways to help us improve our grades. Very nice guy and had good explanations for examples in the book.

This class is very easy. 3 online tests, 20 questions each, 2.5 hours to do it. I figured out all the answers while taking the test by looking at the book. I went to maybe 3 classes the whole semester and got an A.

I liked him. Put Statistics in layman's terms and tried to get rid of the theory and complications with it. 3 exams online. Very sweet. Goes off on tangents but very accomodating and listens to suggestions.

He is boring but nice. His tests are very easy. 2 tests 25 questions. Recommended!!

Class is eazy...need to do the work...you can get an A...when you got to the class his favoirte word is "Mega Stat" or " Bring Laptop to class". So good luck next semester

This is a very easy class. If you are a Stats major, you don't want to take this class because you won't get a lot out of it. If you are a business major, and just want to finish school, take this class. There are 3 Tests, online 2.5 hours, and all the problems you can solve with Megastat.

Wow this class is a joke. Im currently taking it for summer A. If you want to pass this is your class. I mean you will learn how to use Exel OM and thats it!!! Easy Professor.....A-

Waste of time. The only point of class is getting your participation point otherwise not worth it. You have 10 questions per quiz and you have 1 hour and 10 minutes to do it. Good luck

Excellent class for slackers, got an A- for doing absolutely nothing. Come on guys if you fail this class you shouldn't even be in school. Def take this man if you want an easy A and those who complain get another teacher and fail. Def reccomend this professor.

Cant get better then a summer course. Final grade A. If you want to pass this is your professor!=) All you have to do is show up for attendance and get your 10%

hahahaha easiest class at FIU. I had taken this class with larry smith failed it but when retook it for summer A got an A. Easy for those who wants to pass take him you will thank me later =)

easy class although the professor is really bad at teaching. if u wanna learn don't take him, if u wanna do nothing then take him. all u have to do is use megastat for the tests and u're good to go. attendance mandatory

He is so NICE. Really friendly get's off topic a lot. Can take exams on-line, which makes it really easy. Plus this class is just stats at a little higher level in the end. I would highly recommend him. He is the best.

He is a great professor! Good personality. Very smart, helpful, and answers questions. Exams are easy if you know how to use the Excel programs, which he teaches. Provides notes for all classes. Easy A!

I ended up with a "B+" and we were a hybrid class. I did put my time into studying, but if you get a study group like I did, then you will be fine. He is an easy professor and he goes off topic a lot. Take this class if you just want get an easy grade! Good luck!

Took Online. Professor is extremely helpful & answers questions really fast. Hw assignments each week take some time, but he gives u 100% if you complete at least 1/2 of the hw. There is an on-campus final but all the questions are from the hw & quizzes you do throughout the semester. I got a 99.7% in the class, very nice & helpful professor!

This man is an angel fallen from the sky, I have him right now for OM online, and the only reason i have a B and not an A+ is strictly lack of time on my part bc i work... take him he gives you chances he is fair, easy going and has been a pleasure to have as a professor

Took for QMB3200 in campus and MAN 4504 online and got an A in both classes. Use the CD's (megastat and Excel OM) that come with the book to get a good grade. I LOVE Prof Kyparisis! He's So extremely nice and helpful =) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Professor Kyparisis class was clear and simple. He drops the two lowest hw,and quizzes. He gives live lecures, and has regular virtual office hours. He always answers students in the discussion form, and continuously helped me with the class. He truly cares about all his students. The course itself is a lot of calculations, but he made it simple.

Regarding the online section for this class, Professor Kyparisis was extremely professional and answered questions promptly. There is an on-campus final, which comprises 20 percent of the final grade; however, he gives a review with all of the questions in it. Overall, it was an easy and fair class. Highly recommended!

This professor is very helpful, he gives us more time to work on the chapters if we need to. He is one of the best professors I have had at FIU.

Easy. Took him online and he is very helpful and will postpone due dates if students are having difficulties. Each chapter has a homework and2 quizzes one of which is based on the hwk. I recommend (and i really hate online classes)

Very easy. Each chapter has 3 assignments with due dates. 1 BBquiz, 1 HW on MyOMLAB, 1 Quiz on MyOMLAB. If you need more time - he postpones. Final is on campus cumulative of the HW/Quiz from MyOMLAB. Gives a list of the ones he will use - 1 from each chapter. Has lectures based on the OMLAB HW - very helpful.

Very easy class if you keep up with the reading and homeworks. There are BB quizes OMLAB HW and Quizzes. He moves dates if necessary. Makes lots of changes - final was changed from on campus to home last minute. Constantly check your BB for updates. Overall the best. (Book was unbinded this time around and required a lab).

GREAT PROFESSOR! I took this class online. Only a final. Online quizzes and homework. Flexible with dates. There is work but he extends it. Overall Easy :)

This class is extremely difficult! Not an easy A. You must learn to use statcrunch. If you don't learn how to use it you will have a hard time passing this class. He is very nice and helps you as much as you can. But the material is not easy.

Professor gives you all the due dates at begining of class. You have to do blackboard quizes for every chapter. You will need to pay a subscription to MYOMLAB where you will do HW and Quiz for each chapter here you will do the mathematical parts. Class is easy overall but you need to do the work. He has one on campus final.

Took online for MAN4504. Lots of work but extends deadlines if necessary and is always quick to respond to e-mails. Not an "Easy A" but if you do all the work in a timely manner than you should get an A. Worked hard and that's what I got (:

I agree with the rating below. This is not an easy class. You have 2 quizzes and 1 HW for every chapter (which you have to read on your own). Then, the final at the end has 1 problem for each chapter. The prof. is helpful and extends all deadlines. However, success and the grade depend on you. If you do it all and understand, an A is doable.

The deadlines are a pain in the neck because he does not follow the calendar in the syllabus. He will extend deadlines for each homework and quiz. If you organize yourself to do everything youll probably will end up with an A or A-. The class can be considered time consuming.

Professor extends deadlines for you. You have to sign up for My OM Lab to do assignments. Took this class online and you have to do 1 blackboard quiz, 1 My OM Lab quiz, and 1 My OM Lab HW per chapter. It is NOT an easy A but if you do all your assignments you should be fine. My OM Lab has the option to help you solve the HW problems - helpful!

easy class as long as you do the HW. The midterm and final are similar to the Hw. He will explain if you have questions. I didnt learn much, but it boosted my GPA. Recommended

Statistics is a difficult subject and there is no sugar coating it. I would take him again as he is very accessible via email and attendance to class is not mandatory. Everything you need to learn in order to pass is available through Stat Crunch -- make it a priority to learn Stat Crunch from the very beginning and you should be fine.

He helps by providing video lectures, but you don't need to watch it. If you follow the examples on Pearson you'll be fine to do your homework and the test. Statistics is a difficult subject, so you do need to dedicate time to it. He is very flexible and always extends the due dates of the HW. Would take him again!

Professor Kyparisis is a nice guy who believes robots will take over the world sooner rather than later. With that said, this class consists of 10 BB quizzes, 9 OM quizzes and 9 OM HW's. My advice is to take this class in person in order to learn how to use excelom. He always extends all assignments meaning you can do them whenever you want.

This was a very easy class. Excel OM practically saves you from all the unnecessary calculations the hw help gives you. Attendance is not mandatory and you can take the final online. Just make sure you stay on top of the hw since it can pile up.

Three assignments per week. Excel Om tool used to solve the majority of the problems. Turn in assignments on time and prepare well for the final and you will be fine

Easy class overall, excel is used to solve mostly all of the problems. Lots of assignments but he often extends them every week. Final is online.

Amazing and funny professor. Make sure to do HW on MyOmLab and easy quizzes on the BB. Final open books. Save all excel sheets from HW and you will be fine to take an exam. It's better if you go to classes where you'll do HW in class.

not bad. he's very caring class consists of 1BB quiz, OMlab hw and OMlab quiz thats suppose to be weekly but always extents, 1 final (save hw excels). He wants you to pass and its easier to watch his adobe connect video rather than doing it yourself, though he's a little unorganized, poor thing. he's a great guy though i took him online.

He is the sweetest. He made the final one day only and I asked him if he could open it up early for me and he allowed it. He extends homework and quizzes so the syllabus might say its due in a week but if you ask him he will offer help or extend it. If your failing he assist you. Lots of work in the class but he goes over every question weekly.

The class consists of online canvas/blackboard quizzes, and Pearson quizzes and Hws. Watch his lectures! They are very useful; he goes over every single question of the HW. The final is on campus but you can take it online if you are out of town. Always extends the Hws and quizzes, even though they are usually due every other week.

Kyparisis is by far my favorite professor throughout my entire college career. FIU is a huge school and professors are usually fast to brush you off. Kyparisis on the other hand is extremely caring, thorough, and actually takes the time to help his students. Take him for sure you won't regret it.

Professor Kyparisis is the best professor that I have taken at FIU. You will have quizzes from the video lectures on canvas, Hws and quizzes on MyOMlab, plus the Final Exam. It's not an easy class, you will have to dedicate it time to study, but this professor makes it easier to understand the material. I will definitively take him again

Chapter quizzes on canvas (answers online) HW on pearson and quizzes as well. He does an adobe session every week showing you how to do the homework. Quizzes sometimes have questions on them that are not on homework. He drops the lowest grade for canvas quiz, hw, and quizzzes on pearson. Great professor.

The entire course is on Cengage. Grades are made up of biweekly assignments + quizzes, and final. He does weekly live Zoom lectures which are a big help since they are interactive. He truly cares about his students is available via phone at all hours. Quizzes and final are made up of the homework problems, just different numbers. Easy A.

I hope FIU can have more professors like him . He is so caring , goes over the material . The subject is so hard to understand by yourself but his zoom videos he goes over problems and explains everything and makes it sound easier to understand . He truly cares about the students learning. He has been my favorite professor on the program so far .

The class is not easy, everything is on Excel using formulas. This was an online class and he does have zoom sessions every week where he goes over the homework and explains. After each homework, there's always a quiz. Homework and quizzes are 30 of the grade each and final 40%. He is very understanding and will work with you if you ask for help.

He's an amazing professor, cares a lot about the students, and goes above and beyond to help you understand the material. I wish I had more classes with him. I found the material of the class is easy. Be resourceful if you don't understand something Google is your friend, and so is the professor!

Wow, what a great and flexible professor! He is so understanding and if you message him asking for one more day for homework or need to reschedule an exam he is very responsive and helpful! I think he actually cares that students pass his class. One of the only math classes and professors Ive actually enjoyed! Highly recommend

Proffesor Kyparis was an excellent teacher. He truly cares for his students and responds quickly. This class overall is a lot of material wise but he makes it a breeze. I would record him!

Excel courses are miserable, yes. However, this professor gives you a perfect roadmap to acing the course. He solves everything in the homework ahead of time for you to figure out how to do it exactly. He also moved back due dates every week to ensure everyone had plenty of time to pass quizzes and homework. A real G.

I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to review professor Kyparisis, no the class isn't easy and taking one professor over another won't magically make it easier. However throughout the semester the professor showed he genuinely cared about his students and seeing us pass his class. It takes some effort to learn the material but very passable.

Professor Kyparisis is flexible and cares about student success. The class is challenging, but manageable with effort. Use resources like the textbook, study sessions, and unstuck AI to ace the Excel-heavy coursework.

Very kind professor, clear schedule for class with quiz/hw due every week that is manageable. Responds to emails and tries his best to make class easy to grasp for everyone. Best teacher for this course. Did not have midterm exam, ends with cumulative final. BTW DO NOT PICK GLADYS S for this class.

This professor has 10 homework assignments, all of which consist of the one question taught in class. This class is impossible to fail unless you bomb the final, which is 35% of the grade. The final consists of the same questions shown in the homework. He also has recordings of how to do homework problems if you miss class.

Great teacher super easy however a lot of group activities and solving problems as a group . Even if you are an online student you will still be required to participate in group assignments and be graded on your participation. Take him!!
