Took him for two classes. You'll either hate him or you'll love him. He loves himself, but he's got every reason to. He's well versed. He teaches us so that we may educate ourselves in the future. He wants us to learn by jumping in head first and involving all of our senses. Be prepared to feel intimidated, but realize there's so much more to him.

This class is ehh. We had quizzes with unlimited tries but they were pretty boring and I didnt really learn much. The professor was caring and sent out emails when quizzes would open up. The final was 60 questions with 60 minutes to submit it. He ended up making the final worth less of our grade so students grades wouldnt be too damaged

HARD quizzes and so many long readings but no assignments. You get unlimited tries and time in the quizzes but you don't get to see which are right and which are wrong. Very strict on cheating. Final was worth the same as other quizzes (100 points) but 60 questions and only 1 minute per question. Recommend for humanities requirement.

Unlimited tries for quizzes. I mostly skimmed the readings b/c I wasn't really interested in religion, but some of the stuff did stick over repetitive tries on quizzes. Pretty chill class, do the quizzes at your own pace but be mindful of the due date.

I took his HUM 345 during the summer and I have to admit that it was pretty intense. But I guess thats the expectation for all classes taken in the summer. They move fast and cram 4.5 months worth of material into 4.5 weeks. His quizzes are easy but you MUST do the readings! He lets you retake the quizzes over as many times as you want.

Professor Leonard explains religion and mysticism in a very digestible way. It is his job as a professor to tell the truths about these subjects, so go into this class with an open mind and expect to learn some uncomfortable things. This class only assigns quizzes with infinite retries. He unlocks several modules at a time for our own pace

Truly eye-opening class about mysticism, culture and human traditions. Leonard was a caring and flexible professor. You'll have a lot of reading to do but none of it is boring. His iLearn page format does take some adjusting too (very wordy) but he's a good writer. Quizzes weren't hard. Highly recommend his class.
