He is a GREAT teacher! Attend class and take notes and you will do well. He has lots of stories, and really enjoys teaching geography. Very lenient with assignment deadlines. Tests aren't easy, but the format stays the same. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

#1 strategy: STUDY ! and thats all you will need to do in order to ace his class. He is extremly nice and courteous. He will answer any question you may have. Study maps and terms for each section and you should do just fine. I highly recommend him.

He's a very nice person and extremely helpful and supportive in a one on one basis. He definitely loves what he does. However, unless you are extremely studious, you won't do well in his class. He has a tendency to teach fast.

Very entertaining! This class was not designed for anyone to fail. Do your projects and you will be fine! Tests were sometimes difficult - you must pay attention to the lectures. Highly recommend this teacher.

He is an unbelievably helpful teacher. Definitely one of the most decent human beings I've met. Highly recommend this class, because this professor goes out of his way to make sure you understand what's going on. Tests are challenging but again, he will review anything you have questions about.

This guy is my favorite teacher. He tells you exactly what is on the test. You have to be a retard not to get an A or a B in his class. He is also one of the greatest human beings Ive met.

Great class, great teacher. You will need to study for the tests, but he is very clear on what is important (especially if you ask). Requires a few class projects that are VERY SIMPLE for easy grades!! Go to class and listen and this course will be EASY!

Excellent teacher. Study for test. Do virtual tours really help, more than you think. Very clear on what is on test and what to know. He is a teacher that has a true passion for geography. Very nice.

Intersting Subject and nice teacher but every morning was sports from the day before so it is hard to stay focused on the information needed for class. Read the book and study the terms along with all online help and the class is easy enough.

I had him a while back for a mini-symester. I recieved an A. His class is intersting and you will get something out of it if you pay attention! He also loves the Oakland Raiders! So learn to like them too!

Dr. G is one of the few instructors that can teach without any notes in front of him. He is passionate about his subject and presents material in a variety of ways to make the class more interesting. Don't take him if you want an easy A but if you put forth the effort you will enjoy the class.

i talked sports with lonberger almost everyday after class. man knows what he is talking about both in sports and in the class. too bad he likes the raiders though. classes were boring but the work was fairly easy. tests were pretty in depth, may have been that way because i took his honor course.

mr. lonberger is a good teacher but his tests are a little bit tricky, they require a decent amount of studying but his lectures are pretty strightforward and he gives a review of the tests beforehand.

very hard tests

Lonberger is awesome. His tests can be hard as hell but he gives homework assignments maybe once every two weeks and they couldn't be easier. He's really entertaining and usually doesn't talk about class related stuff. Really fun teacher. Just make sure to study your ass off before the tests and you will do fine.

If you need to take Geography, I hope you take it with him. This guy rocks. Do the little assignments and go to class--you'll have no problem.

He is a very knowledgable teacher. He has a passion for geography. His class is easy if you study. He give you a study guide with most of the material on the test. Fantastic teacher. One of the coolest I've had. He is a very nice guy, extremely helpful and wants to see all of his students do well. Oh, and he LOVES football, so if you're a fan you will likely enjoy talking football with him before or after class.

Dr. G is a riot! He is so funny that he kept me rolling all semester. I especially loved his references to "empty-headed jays". He is so old school it's cool. I never saw him show favoritism to any student be they brain or hot babe. Take his class and enjoy the ride!

Dr. L's Honors class was wonderful. Yes, he tends to ramble, but somehow his ramblings ALWAYS go back to the lesson at hand. Amazing! I learned SO much more than simply where a place was on the map. READ THE TEXTBOOK and you will be FINE. Do not think you can simply skate by on the lectures. DO THE WORK ASSIGNED and you will come out with an "A"!

Super teacher! Gives very little homework, his exams are very fair and pretty easy. I made an "A" in this class because Dr. Lonberger made it interesting. FYI---TURN OFF CELL PHONES! Huge pet pevee.

Very funny teacher! He's great! Trys to make the class interesting. He might get off subject but gets all the material in. His famous quote: "The blind sqirrel finds an acorn in the forest." He says this when students locate correctly on the map even when they are not sure at first. Overall, A fairly easy class.

The optional Recylcing Drive instead of the research paper was really cool...even though I have to do it in an hour.

Prof. L is really cool. LOL i sit smack dab in the middle of the very front row so I get called a lot out of nowhere(when he catches me spacin out). Besides that tests are simple if you study homework is also simple. He keeps you laughing with his stories. Overall an excellent class.

Plenty of extra credit also. And yes I enjoyed spending just a couple hours picking up trash and making the community better rather than researching and writing a paper

Great professor and overall funny guy with all his stories. Offers extra credit opportunities to throughout the semester. Only homework is doing virtual field trips which were pretty cool.

Mr. Lonberger is definitely one of my favorite professors! He is funny and I found his class to be quite interesting. There are opportunities for extra credit. Overall, this was a pretty easy class.

Dr. Lonberger's class was a lot of fun. He doesn't do the traditional lecture, instead he puts the notes in the background and discusses the material with the class. He uses real life examples to explain the material. I really enjoyed his class and would recommend it to anyone who needed to take Sociology.

Professor Lonberger is very knowledgeable about more than just geography, I learned more in his class than I have in any other I have taken in college. He is extremely fair and nice. His tests are not the easiest but not to hard. over all great class and I really enjoyed it.

BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!! I struggled on my tests and did not pass them and I still made a C. passed all my virtual field trips and even let me make up my points when I missed class and sprained my ankle. His quizzes were a little confusing. sweetest guy ever. Take his class you wont regret it. :-)

I found Dr. Lonberger to be tremendously helpful during the class Introduction to Human Geography. He is very clear in what he expects from the students, is remarkably funny during lectures, and is extremely helpful in preparing students for upcoming exams. Not only would I recommend him, but I would definitely take him again.

12 Summer Course:There are 4 tests and 4 discussion posts. Just read and use the companion site and you'll do well. Tests were 100 questions each, but these were the only 8 assignments for the class. Must do everything on time, and he's looking at grammar when you write. Only gripe is he really isn't teaching Human Geo, but Regional Geo.

I took the online class and It was the best online class ever. Very straightforward , he is clear on what he expects from the students. The virtual field trip is very interesting, and he doesn't give to do, make sure you discuss, turn the worksheets and take the test on time. I highly recommend this class!

He is an amazing professor. I never thought that it would be so interesting and fun to learn about geography and the world until I took this class. He is so caring and informative. He wants everyone to succeed and get an A in his class. He goes above and beyond to help everyone. Responds to email quickly. I highly recommend him to everyone.

He'll email you the slides for the tests as long as you email him first. You can tell that he makes an effort to remember students. He calls on people to answer questions a lot, but don't be intimidated! He's not scary. He doesn't usually get too off topic, but he's pretty funny (he loves sports). Study well for the tests!

Four Tests in Sociology. Every other assignment is mostly completion with exception of noticeable lack of effort. Allows 5x8 inch notecard for tests. Highly recommend.

Hes caring. He genuinely wants you to succeed and one day become a sociologist. Funny guy. 4 tests, 5x8 notecard allowed. 2 projects outside class, easy 100. The more you attend lectures or in class activities, the more chance you have of up-ing your grade if needed.

This class was just right. Fun, with interesting textbook reading that wasn't too hard. Put a little effort into the discussions and assignments and you'll do fine.

I took this class online for a mini-mester course and it is the easiest class you could ever take, all the material is online and as long as you read the book for discussion posts and take the tests there is no way you will fail. ALL THE MATERIAL IS ONLINE. 4 discussion posts and 4 tests for entire mini-mester nothing else.

Take his online class and you will love it, It is the easiest class I have had since I started college, the material is also very interesting. He is very clear about what he wants so if you follow directions you will get an A

The smartest and sweetest cornball at GSU when it comes to geography and sociology. I understand choosing classes can be intimidating, but you certainly won't regret this one.

I took him during a summer semester, and the workload is very light. The exams are 50 questions per exam, in which he drops one. A 250-worded discussion with a 150-worded response and a field trip PDF file worksheet that you turn in weekly. The class is easy to pass if you keep up with the curriculum.
