Lotocki doesnt make anyone fail, if you failed, its simply because you didnt study. He gives a question by question review before each exam. He gives extra credit. It is a lecture heavy class so you must STUDY. A&P II isnt an easy course. You cannot expect an easy A, this isnt a class to take as a joke especially if ur in the medical field.
Professor Lotocki doesn't want to fail anyone but you have to put in the work to do well. The test are pretty hard but he gives opportunities to still pass the class. He cares a lot about the subject and the students and is very knowledgeable about A&P
I loved Professor Lotecki! He is so caring & extremely knowledge about his field. He dropped one absence. He also gives 10 points extra credit, so you can easily earn an A or a B if you put in the time to study. 3 tests - but he gave extra points if a lot of students got the same question wrong. Very through review of each exam question by question
Not an easy A but worth it because you learn so much. A&P is a tough subject but he will go over the material until the students understands it. He is available at all times to help, he wants us to pass I think a little more than we want to. He also gives extra points that count towards the test grade and 1 extra credit opportunity.
Great professor but his lectures are overall tough to understand. Although it is informational, he teaches a lot of unneeded information we need to know necessary for the exam. Wasnt bad for his first time teaching. There are no study guides or lecture slides to help. Everything is out the book. Heavy accent as well . I wouldnt recommend.
I had Professor Lotocki this past fall and it was a great experience. His lectures are very clear and he answers all questions with great detail. His tests are exactly based on what he taught with no surprises. Would take him again again if I could. A real gem of a teacher!
3 test is all he grades through the semester so you need to do good on them all. You Need to show up to class and take a lot of notes or you will be lost. If you dont like to study to much I wouldnt recommend him.
BEST PROF AT MDC. I highly recommend him. He's very specific, relaxed, and such a nice professor. He does teach a lot in the lab, but he is very specific for exams. Loved his teaching and would take him again any day. All the best for future teaching! Happy holidays!
This was my second time taking Anatomy 2 and it was a breeze. Unlike the teachers at wolfson all you have to do is study and show up to class. He simplifies the textbook during lecture. Make sure you do the reviews before the tests if you want to pass. Also, you have a chance at extra credit.
Professor Lotocki is an amazing teacher. Attendance is 10% of your grade. There are three exams about 4 chapters each. Each exam is 50 questions. There is a very detailed review days before an exam. He also gives you an opportunity to do an extra credit assignment and its very simple. Book is not necessary. He uses slides and sends it to you.
Professor Lotocki is one the smartest people Ive met. He knows A&P better than anyone Ive ever met. He is super confident in his lectures and explains everything thoroughly. His extensive knowledge in research shows how much he knows. I was a bit intimidated by him because hes kind of a Cell God. Highly recommend if going in the health field.
He knows what he is talking about. He moves at a pace where you can understand. Your grades are based on 3 test so you have to study. He provides extra credit. Nice guy in general.
Professor was good, got an A and he goes over the questions of the test before you take it, he has one extra credit assignment, I suggest you do it it really helps your grade. He also puts the powerpoint on Black board just in case you miss something in lecture. He knows what hes talking about and is a good teacher 10/10 recommend
Professor Lotocki was the bomb. I loved taking his class. He knows SO much!! He really cares about his students and their grades and I would take him again in a heart beat. If you pay attention to the lecture you will pass.
This is a professor I would advise you all to take.
In his class you will learn, he is always available via email or in person. His class consists of 3 exams that is 2 midterms an a final, also he gives you 1 extra credit that is an investigation (Easy 10 point), the best part is no homework. Best professor.
I can say without a doubt that Dr. Lotocky is one of the best professors I have ever had at MDC. BCS2086 is not an easy class, but with his teaching style, you will actually learn a lot. He gives extra credit and you will have 3 tests during the semester. Thank you for an outstanding class !!! MDC needs more teachers like Dr. Lotocky.
He is a really good professor, goes into details during lectures. There are 3 exams, not confusing but will be hard if you did not study the review or come to class. He also offers an extra credit assignment and attendance counts as a grade as well. Overall he is caring, wants you to pass!
Professor Lotocki is amazing! I recommend you take him! He teaches a lot in his lectures and speaks with knowledgeable. I am definitely taking him again for anatomy 2.
Professor Lotocki is a great professor. This is a difficult class, but he is available for questions in class and outside of class. He always responds to the e-mails. He gives an extra credit assignment that was very helpful!
He was a good professor, he encourages you to do well in class. if you pay attention to his lectures and reviews then you'll pass with an A.
Lotocki is a great Professor and if you pay attention to his lectures then you'll definitely pass his class with a good grade. Good luck!!
George Lotocki is a great professor, I like how he is approachable as a professor especially when you have questions about lectures or anything school related! There are three exams which you MUST study for! He does reviews for the exam a week before so attend those as well and please do the extra credit. Also, ask him for extra help when needed!
He makes it easy for us students by giving us extra credit opportunities and he gives us the powerpoints of his lectures. No book needed because its all in the lectures, just review them. I defiantly reccomend!
Professor Lotocki was a real Gem this spring 2020 semester. At first I was a bit nervous hearing there were only 3 tests and no homework, but before every exam, he did an in-class test review where he literally went through all 50 test questions & tell you number 1 will ask about this topic & function, number 2 this, number 3 this. Such a lifesaver
Great Professor, all test questions were straight from the power point. He did not assign any homework other than studying power points and extra credit assignment. Easy A as long as you ask questions and pay attention to power point.
Professor Lotocki is one of the best professors that I have ever had in college. Pay attention to classes, take notes and go over the power points for the test and you will do great. He can answer all your doubts. If youre really interested you get to learn a lot in his classes. Take him for anatomy and physiology you wont regret it.
Professor Lotocki is a great professor, he gives good feedback and gives very interesting lectures, though the only thing on the gradebook is his 3 exams so you need to study.
Go to class ! Thats when you will really learn. He has a review before every exam and he only has 4 exams throughout the semester. Due to Covid-19 we took 2 of our exams at home which made it easier. He has one extra credit assignment and may give out more. He teaches ALOT OF INFO.
Professor Lotocki is awesome, I am in his online class and he gives us powerpoints with all the necessary information, is very flexible, and knowledgeable. I like his class a lot, the quizzes aren't so hard if you study.
Professor Lotocki is the best! His lectures are very understandable and full of information. We can tell that he is knowledgeable. He will help you with any questions outside the class.
The best anatomy professor I've had thus far! I recommend him. He's thorough and have get test targeted reviews. He takes his time through each lecture and from our group chat majority if not everyone in my class passed his class. If you want to learn and pass the semester I HIGHLY recommend professor Lotocki!!!!! 5 stars from this A student!
Dr. George Lotocki has been one of the best anatomy professors I have ever had so far. Dr. George Lotocki is a very respectable man full of lots of knowledge. Listening to his lectures was amazing because now I can proudly say that I left his class with lots of knowledge. He will not confuse you. Amazing professional this professor will go far.
The best professor ever, I took him for BSC2085 and BSC2086. All you have to do is study the review questions and take notes and I guarantee you youll pass with an A. No hw and no textbook required , he also gives extra credit.
Hands down this is the best professor! he teach straight forward and honestly wants everyone to pass! i would take him over and over... For test, he does a review of the test and it is the exact replica.. all you have to do is study/memories! TAKEEE HIMMMMMMM
Don't take this class during a mini-term. There is way too much material even though he does a great job of breaking it down. Your grade is based on attendance and 3 tests which he gives a thorough review for. He is a great lecturer! I downloaded his recordings and I know I'll be referring back to them all the time! Take him if you want to learn!
Take this professor you wouldnt regret it. Amazing lectures and you will never get surprise content on test he will go over everything you need. Very clear in his teaching. Took him for summer semester and had no homework just 3 exams it was the easiest class I have ever taken. Do study and go over the lecture!
Anatomy & Physiology for summer is a real intensive class, so be ready to learn in a very fast pace. However, Prof. Lotocki did a good job teaching with the use of lecture slides and highlighting the most important information. A plus is that he gives very specific outline for his tests.
Best professor, I took him for summer semester during the pandemic & had no homework just 3 exams. Amazing lectures and reviews before exams. He does go over everything you need. Very clear in his teaching. Study and go over the lectures! I got an A, just be on time for class especially tests because there is a time window that you could access it
Best professor, he is very clear in grading and he outlines exactly every single thing you will be doing throughout the semester. He knows what he's doing and we only took 3 exams, 1 every 2 weeks for the summer. He has a bit of an accent but it's understandable. Attendance counts as part of your grade so don't miss class, its worth 10% of grade.
Get ready to listen and take notes. Very lecture heavy, but Prof Lotocki does a good job of explaining concepts. I took this course in 6 weeks during remote learning and still got an A. This course requires a lot of studying. I didn't have the textbook, but I think it would have made my life easier if I had it. 3 exams. All m/c.
Prof Lotocki was great! Had mandatory lectures 3 days a week but was totally worth it cause he would speak the entire time and would explain concepts thoroughly. I took his 6-week summer course and all I did was a study for the 3 tests he gave us. However, they were pretty simple and he made powerpoints for us to study off of. Was all online too.
A&P is tough- period. Dr. Lotocki is AMAZING. Book not necessary/no HW. Powerpoint lectures w/ plenty of real-life explanations. Tests (3) are no joke and worth 90% of the overall grade. Don't want to study? Good luck. If going into any health science, learn from him & retain it for the future. Whole class loves him. Very friendly.
Took Professor Lotocki Spring 2020 for Anatomy 1 and Summer 2020 for Anatomy 2. Both levels I got an A. i learned so much from his lectures. He never let us out early though. Exam reviews were very detailed and he basically went over all 50 questions that will be on the exam saying what he will ask in each question. TAKE HIM WITH NO HESITATION
Dr Lotocki is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and cares for his students. Does not want to fail anyone but you MUST study as tests are 90% of your grade and proctored. You can tell he loves teaching and it really inspires you to learn the material, talks throughout the whole lecture. Answers to emails super fast. Attend class, study and pass.
Professor Lotocki does not teach anatomy he teaches ONLY PHYSIOLOGY! He will ask you in the test things that doctors are supposed to know. I got a C in his class and Ive always got As for all my classes. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
I took Professor Lotocki for the Fall 2020 semester as remote learning. The review that he gives for the midterm and final exam are not what he says that are going to be on the exams. Both exams are 100 questions He does not give extra credit. He grades very HARD. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR GRADE TO SUFFER. TRUST ME.
Take this class! You'll work for your grade, but you'll learn and it'll stick for future classes/career, esp. if it's allied health. He's easily accessible via email (rare at MDC), and he's given me some great advice about which direction to go with my studies. 3 tests 30% each, 10% attendance. Cannot recommend enough. Also taking for 2086!
Professor Lotocki was excellent! I took him in the fall of 2020 and received an A. We had three test and no hw. With that said, be warned that you do have to pay attention to his lectures. All test material comes from what he says during his lectures. If you need help he is extremely helpful. You can call him outside of office b/c he wants to help!
Professor Lotocki is generous. Grades are based on exams only which might make you panic at first, however, the professor has effective teaching methods and offer many chances to boost your grade. Most of what he teaches is in his exams and will specify in his exam review. He gives enough time to study before exams, typically a week.
This professor is pretty good. He doesnt give homework or assignments. Your grade is based only on three exams and attendance (Go to all classes!). He provided PowerPoints but if you go his lectures and pay attention(with notes) youll be fine. Its not an easy A but he gave extra credit opportunities. He responds quickly your concerns as well!
Had this professor during pandemic, it was honestly the hardest class I've ever taken in my life. I only managed to get an A because of the extra credits he gave us, but if it weren't for that, I'd pass with a B or C. His lectures are great and he is very knowledgeable, but 3 exams counting 90% of your grade, you'd really have to study super HARD.
THIS IS THE WORST PROFESSOR EVER AT MDC. This professor does not encourage his students to learn he will defined not help you prepare for midterm and final he does not give you a study guide for nothing. He expects you to learn on your own. He does not know how to teach and expects that you know everything. 0/10 avoid this horrible professor
Great Professor overall, verging caring about his students. Is available outside of the classroom and responds to emails pretty fast. Will definitely take again.
I took this class online and but it was amazing. The ppt are very detailed notes of the textbook- AMAZING!!! Just study the ppt like crazy and you'll be good (slides range from 50-140 per chapter). The midterm and final are relatively easy if you study hard- both proctored. The only way you don't do well is if you don't study but that's on you.
His course consists of Attendance which is 10% and three exams that are each 30% so a total of 100%. This semester he gave us all extra credit and he curves your letter grade if you are very close to the next one. His lectures are straight forward and cover things that will be on the exam.
Great Professor and very easy on his lectures, if i could i would choose him to be my Professor again for any subject. You won't regret choosing this professor.
This is a very clear class Be prepared to study Grading is on three tests with attendance Professor answers email within the hour Always is available for questions
Entire grade based on only 3 exams. Lectures heavy and no text book. If you dont pay attention in lectures you wont pass and even if you do its still hard. He gives Pearson exams and lectures on his own PowerPoints which dont always match up. He is a nice person, very accessible and does answer back but still extremely tough.
Professor Lotocki was the best professor I have ever met at MDC. You can tell he really cares about the students, & if we really understand the lecture. If you don't understand the lecture, he will kindly go over it with no hesitation. His class is very easy, just focus on his lectures, study and you will be good to go. hope this helps.
He gives all semester to finish online book homework. (purchase required) he is understanding if you are ever late, and will go above and beyond to work with you if you need his help with anything school related. really caring teacher. the only online professor ive seen take his time to do a video call chat with students to prepare them for midterm
Anatomy and physiology is a very important class for my major and definitely it helped a lot to take it with Professor Lotocki. The lectures highlight the most important aspects of the class without missing any information, and the professor use different audiovisual material to make the learning process easier.
Make sure you get a head start on the huge amount of homework. His reviews for exams were the worst, everyone in the class did horrible (Summer 2020).
Professor Lotocki is a very knowledgable and caring professor in my opinion. I took both BSC2085 and BSC2086 with him and he has been consistently organized with lectures, syllabus, and grading etc. A&P is very challenging and if you are someone truly wants to learn, he's the one for you. He cares about the students and very fair with grading!
Dr Lotocki is an excellent professor and gives informative lectures. You will learn a lot in his class if you listen, take notes, review the lectures, and study. You will be well prepared for your future career. He gives a lot of extra credit, so you are likely to do well.
Hes an amazing professor and hes accessible out of class. Hes open to work with you and help you pass. This class is not an easy A, so expect to study a lot. His tests consist of what he says during his lectures so you have to pay attention. Overall, he is a great professor and I would take him again any day.
You can tell this professor cares. Anatomy is a very hard class to study and I studied a lot but he gives extra credit and reviews for the exams! take him, you wont regret.
Took for 2085 & 2086. If you're going into any health science - take him. I was trying to prepare for the TEAS exam during the semester and his lectures were extremely helpful. Very knowledgable and quick to reply to emails, even offers to call to explain things. Gives great career advice, too. Not an easy A (you have to work for it), but worth it!
Professor Lotocki is a caring Anatomy teacher. Get ready to put in the work, its not an easy class. As long as you read the chapters and study the material, its not difficult. You will need to put in the effort and actually care about this course. Lotocki is very understanding and will answer any/every question during his office hours and email!
Dr. Lotocki is the quintessential example of a fantastic professor. The information presented in his lectures is essential for many Healthcare professions. He does not hesitate to discuss the nuance of many physiological functions. Moreover, he encourages students to ask questions. It is evident he wants to see his students succeed. Study.
He lectures on the powerpoints. He tells you which ones are in the test. You study what he told you to study. You take the test. Its very no none sense. He doesnt have a lot of homework because people take this with the lecture so theyre already learning most of the material anyways.
He is a great Professor, makes sure that you understand entirely. He gives a review of the test before hand. Just make sure to attend class and listen to what he says. everything he says ends up on the test. He will help out if needed. definitely an overall good professor.
love him. This class is very easy. PP was very useful. 3 test NO proctored. NO homework. He's kind and sweet I email him a couple of times because I wasn't able to assist in the class and he was always very understanding. I didn't get a bad grade but he said if you did bad on a test you can talk to him. So, I believed he gives extra credit.
Trust me i couldn't have asked for a better professor. He's the best.
Honestly a great professor. Very kind, always willing to help. PowerPoints are straight to the point and helpful. Exams are not proctored. Overall, great class!
awesome professor! take him! you won't regret it. 3 exams, 1 extra credit, no homework, and no book! his powerpoints are very useful! he's very understanding and accessible outside the class
If you're going to take him DO NOT PROCRASINATE! There is SO MUCH homework. 22 HW assignments and some have over 100 questions. HW is worth 25%. 16 quizzes worth 25%. Proctored Midterm & Final worth 25% each. Get a head start on the work bec there is so much to do. 2 due dates; half the work before midterm and half before final - this was the nice.
Very caring and understanding professor that made this class a breeze. Requires a textbook but not strict with which one, no homework. Exams are easy, only 3. Grading is clear and easy, 3 exams and attendance. Lectures are quick-paced but fluid enough to follow. Shows diagrams to drive home the vocabulary and functions of anatomy. Definitely great!
Great professor for the lecture of BSC2085; for lab, lots and lots of homework. Helps to prepare you for 2 exams but can pile up quickly. Make sure to take this course carefully. Mid-term and final are based on homework, especially diagrams and vocabulary. Easy to talk to the professor, regardless.
Great professor, his midterms and final are very similar to the quizzes
He's amazing. Thorough, organized, and punctual with emails. Great professor. Really cares.
Wish I could take him for every single course. Caring, accessible, helps students with their overall goals by giving detailed feedback. No textbook required. Straight forward. Hardest course I've taken, yet I learned so much. The best of the best of the best.
This Professor was AMAZING with capital A, this class is a bit difficult due to the amount of info to learn but he makes everything contribute to your learning and the homework and quizzes help prepare you for your exam
He is a really good and caring professor, he wants every single of his students to pass and is very fast when replying to emails. His class is test heavy and each of them are 50 questions so you have to be prepared to put in the effort and study if you want to pass with an A. you won't regret taking him as long as you study, he is totally worth it
Professor Lotocki is one of the best! Only 3 tests, 50 questions and he also gives extra credit.
I highly encourage to take this as a 16-week class. The workload is heavy but manageable. I had this professor for BSC2085 and BSC2085L. He is organized with his work, answers emails efficiently, and is well respected. The midterm and final are proctored. The questions are exactly from the quizzes. Take pictures and study to do well.
8/10. If you love anatomy this class is for you
I took him because, I went by the ratings on RMP. However, I wouldn't give him a 5/5 more like 3/5. He's a good professor. But it was a lot of work in 6 weeks. The exams are proctored.I wouldn't take him again.
Professor Lotocki is simply on a level of its own. His style of teaching, the way he breaks down material, and his willingness to help students understand it were amazing. Very organized, has clear grading criteria, and answers emails extremely fast. To do well in his class, you need to put in the work. Overall, 10 out of 10.
Amazing professor, his teaching style is incredible. Only grades are exams but if you take notes and study you will do well. He tests you on what he teaches! Extremely fair professor. Best science lecture I've taken thus far
This was the worst experience i had with a professor. For this subject to learn so much his teaching wasn't the greatest. He has boring lectures, didn't really interact with students, grades are only based on 3 exams that consists of 55 questions, and doesn't give homework. kinda sucks cause I like to understand what I learned based off questions.
If you actually pay attention you'll be fine!
He records the lecture so you can go back and watch it. The test are 50 multiple choice question and they are 3. test. He is cool. Take him.
I had this professor for BSC2085 and BSC2085L, I took both courses online he gives you loads of material and study guides to make sure you pass. We had a mid term and final that was proctored but if you study you should do good. Lots of pearson assignments though. I would recommend him.
Lots of hw on pearson which are long so dont wait till last minute to do it. He has mutiple canvas quizzes (not proctored). There is a midterm and final, both proctored by ProctorU. Class was easy and he was very quick to respond to emails. Class is very midterm and final heavy, so try to do well. Exams are heavily based on canvas and pearson Qs.
Professor Lotocki is a great professor but he has a very tough class. All exams(3) are proctored and the first one was without notes so study hard for that one. No hw, extra credit(1) not proctored. Quick to respond emails. Recorded lectures, exam reviews(give topic about questions), slides/book is provided by him(don't get the book).
Organized and selective materials. Clear objectives: Attending, listening, studying. No overwhelming homework (already doing for the lab anyway!). 3 tests instead of 2 (I loved this!) Patient with all students. Responds to questions/concerns immediately. Cares about subject and student. Xtra-credit. Notes use for some tests. Not easy content.
Consider carefully before taking this class if you struggle with exams. Despite some reviews suggesting a balance of assignments, the grading primarily relies on three proctored exams. Interaction with the professor during lectures is minimal. Hard work may lead to passing, but it's not recommended unless you're prepared to put in extra effort.
AMAZING Professor, he is understanding and records and posts all his lectures just in case you miss class. He gives you extra points for just showing up to class. He also allows you to use your notes during the tests. I would definitely take him again.
Professor Lotocki is very nice and caring. He's very passionate in what he teaches and for me his lectures were very fun to listen to. Diffidently will be taking his class again. He does grade mainly from 3 exams but all the questions come from the lectures, so make sure you study! He does give extra credit though that will help your grade a lot!
Professor Lotocki is a great professor he is very passionate about teaching. He recorded his lectures so you can go back and review. He teaches so you understand the material.
If you're taking anatomy 1, TAKE HIM!!! Assignments, Mid term, and Final are all weighed the same. You can find everything online for assignments and quizzes. Midterm and Final are Honor lock but he repeats questions from the previous quizzes.
Professor Lotocki's class is challenging but rewarding. He's passionate about the material and makes lectures engaging. Utilize resources like recorded lectures, study guides, and unstuck AI to excel. Exams are heavily weighted, so diligent preparation is key.
Dr. George Lotocki is a passionate, knowledgeable professor. His class can be challenging, but he is fair and always willing to help. There are extra credit opportunities all throughout that help you gain more point and knowledge. If you're ever stuck, he'll make sure you get it because he truly cares about your success. 100% would take again!
No homework!! Dr. Lotocki is knowledgeable, his lectures are fun, and he makes real world connections. He also posts lectures on Canvas to make it easier to study. 3 exams (2 open note) and a few extra credit assignments. He will bump your grade if he sees your efforts throughout the semester. Kind, reachable, and professional. Would recommend!
This professor is really good, I had him for my Anatomy 1 class. He uses his own PowerPoint to do his lectures and he only gives out 3 tests. He responds to emails, and makes sure you know what you're going to be tested on. Take him If you want to learn and pass!!!
He's a great professor overall. He is very clear in his lectures but you have to take good notes. His exams are on lockdown browser. I recommend taking him but you need to put in the effort. He will help you with your grade but you need to put in the effort.
Professor Lotocki is great! He records lectures so you can go back and take notes, which is super helpful. Quizzes are tough, so you have to study! He's really nice, understanding, and wants you to succeed. Attendance is a must, he gives extra credit for showing up and there's an extra credit assignment too!
Nice Prof but the test are heavy i do not recommend his class
i took him in a mini term so it was a bit tough buttt he gives amazing lectures that are prerecorded! and really good and thorough reviews for the exams. would've loved to have him for A&P 1
Great!! Recorded lectures are tedious to listen and take notes on (in addition to the lecture) but helpful for tests! He does a review class before tests which was super helpful/clear. He wants you to do well and rounds your grade up (79 to a B, 89 to an A)! Accesible via email and even offers to call if you need more help understanding something.
All these are good reviews are fake I took this prof because of the reviews and I don't recommend don't take him it's only 3 tests if you fail one you fail the class he literally just read the PowerPoint for the whole class period DO NOT TAKE HIM exams are double proctored you take them while he's walking around the class on lockdown camera browser
No homework just 3 tests and each one of them are 50 questions this isn't the class for you! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
