Professor Lough was such a great guy! The tests weren't bad at all, if you study.... sounds like none of these other people ever read their book! I would definitely recommend him...very nice and funny

The guy is easy going and not a boring hag. He talks about anything you like him to. Tests are not that difficult. You will learn a lot! Go to class+participate, for the test ask him to give you only the terms on the test. Easy B! If you read the book = Easy A!

Great teacher and an easy class. As long as you read the book, define the terms that he gives you before the test and do the practice tests, an "A" will come easy. Yes, he does veer off topic at times, but it's usually always related to the chapter the class is reading at the time. Really great guy

look. I read the other commets and they don't know what theyre talking about. the lectures are about related to the subject and not only that they are helpful for everyday life. This class will make you a better person. Just read the book and it is easy. He did get an attitude with a couple of people though. I recommend this class.

I took 2 courses with this professor and had no complaints. He is humorous, clear, and very informative. People who have a problem with him have the wrong idea about college courses. The professors are there to support you, not spoon feed you. The syllabus states all his expectations. The rest is up to you. So for all the babies...GROW UP!!!!!

i thought the professor was really interesting. he does teach you a lot but in his own way, you just have to pay attention in order to get it. he is fun to listen to and gives you enough opportunity to do well.

Dr. Lough is hilarious! He doesn't really lecture in the conventional way. He uses a lot of personal examples to teach the material. By the way, he has the best study guide ever! Just do the study guide and you'll do fine on the exams. Also he drops the lowest exam score - you can't go wrong with this professor.

The most awesome teacher! Incredibly fun and you learn more about yourself than in many other classes. Do the online quizes from the book, the extra points, and you'll be fine. Great Great prof.

awesome guy...although he does not lecture directly on the material, you learn life-long stuff, that, rather than factual, teaches you more about life then anything. Easy class...just do the study guides, thats it! he curves the tests (only for your favor), and clearly explains EVERYTHING you need to do to get an A in his syllabus. RECOMMENDED!!!

Dr. Lough is a nice guy. No need to come to class if you read the book and do the study guides. Lectures are okay, but not relevant to the material on the tests. He curves and is helpful if you approach him. Recommend this class to boost GPA!

You dont have to go to class although at times its interesting. MUST study ahead of time for the tests because there is A LOT of info. Drops the lowest score. Your grade depends on YOU!

Awesome teacher. Some people don't like his teaching methods, but I found them to be very relevant to life & the text book. I took him for 352, liked him so much, so I took him again. Nice teacher, easy (but have to study). drops the lowest test. only assignments are writing assignments for each chapter. pretty easy stuff! use the text website!!!

A very nice instructor. He is very positive and kind. He enjoys psychology and shares a lot of interesting stories. If you need a baby sitter, do not take him. His classes are for independent, responsible adults, not babies.

Very easy class to pass. He's very straight forward. He does drop the lowest grade, and he does not take role so you don't have to attend class, but you do have to complete all writing assignments. I recommend him for those who like very easy classes, but for those who want to learn something about the subject don't take him.

I really enjoyed this class- Dr. Lough is a great professor. The lectures are interactive; the class discusses lecture topics as they relate to real life. Instead of writing a research paper, you complete writing assignments that help you study for each test. I wish that Dr. Lough was teaching other sections, too!

easy professor! gives 4 exams and drops the lowest. i got a D on an exam and still ended up with a B. tests are based off the book- you just have to memorize all the definitions and you'll get an A. attendance counts as well.

EASY CLASS!! I did the vocabulary during class. study vocab for the test and get an easy "A". THAT IS ALL!! no papers and 4 or 5 tests with the option of dropping the lowest score, C'MON HOW EASY IS THAT!

Very good professor. Wouldn't say its an easy class, because you learn everything on your own, however tests are easy for those people who actually do the vocabulary words. He is a very great man, and tries to make the class as fun as possible by bringing some examples with using those vocab words for the test. Go to class and you'll be fine

The teacher was nice. The tests was only on vocabulary. There was a couple of group discussions. The only problem was that it was an 8 am class. So a lot of people didnt show up or fell asleep during class. Teacher gave extra credit points for attendance and handing in your completed vocabulary list.

Easy A, says that next semester he wont require attendance, so you don't really even need to go if you don't want to. just do the vocabulary packet cause that's all the tests are on.

I can understand why some people left negative comments. He doesn't really lecture and you don't learn much in class so it's pointless to show up. However, it is an easy A. He gives you a workbook with definitions which you must fill out.. all you need to study for the test is that workbook. Also, he is extremely funny and a really nice guy.

Easy A class. DO workbook and memorize the questions online they'll be on the test. If you're into the whole lecture scenery don't take him because showing up to class is a waste of time. However, he does count attendance.

He's very nice, wants you to think for yourself. Very easy class just show up and do the definitions he assigns. i got D's on all the tests and got a B+. He can be boring but he is cool. Loved the in class skits for extra credit.

all we do is watch movies, and he rambles. the tests are based on the vocabulary words in his workbook and that is all. he's just there for the fun stories! attendance is mandatory. study the vocab words, turn in the definitions and you will get an A. he's a really nice and cool guy :)

Took his Motivation class over the summer and honestly it was a breeze. He only gives four tests (no final) and the only writing you do is the workbook to fill in definitions which helps tremendously for tests. Learned so much about myself and can use this info for my future! Definitely take it!

If you're a Psych major looking for a Psych elective, take this one! Easy A class that takes info from Psy 150 & 250 and applies it to how a person is motivated. There are 4 tests, your lowest grade is dropped, and grades are curved. You get a workbook that you need to fill out with term definitions, which helps you a lot with studying.

Dr. George is a real nice guy and is approachable if you have any questions. He doesn't really lecture so much as he likes to tell stories that relate to what is being learned. The class overall is easy, just make sure you do the writing assignments and look over the definitions since that's basically the whole test. Oh, and you watch a lot of film

I took him in the summer session. He was very laid back and friendly. Will answer your questions. Talks for the first half and then shows a film the second half. Utilize the workbook it'll help you pass his tests. He curves the tests and had us write two papers but were not difficult. Definitely recommend him!

Easy class, just come to class and do assignments. The book is very important to have! He isn't very good at answering students questions and sometimes comes off kinda mean. But he is a good professor and knows a lot!

I took Dr. Lough for Psychology 150 on Saturday's from 8:00 AM-10:45 AM and while it was an early class I still learned a lot. Buying the textbook and his quickcopy which contains study guides is important to do, and read the lectures before he teaches them so you get a general understanding. I got an 86.3% B in his class and so can you, take him!

I took him for PSY 150 in the Fall 2012 semester and learned so much and even though I got a B in this course it made me realize that I want to minor in Psychology as this class was very interesting. He is a great professor and his class isn't the standard lecture it's interactive. Just be sure to read ahead and do the study guides and you're set.

U won't regret taking this guy as he's very nice, funny, easy and allows the use of electronics in his class. He loves technology! His movies are very touching and made me cry. Overall, very knowledgeable and selected the material for the class well. Tests are easy, his lectures are available online.

Very nice lectures. The exams are based on the book and the workbook is very helpful as an study guide. Overall his class is fun.He doesn't take attendance but every class you earn points by using the clicker so I recommend that you assist to class.

Professor George is so wonderful! He's a really caring person and he offers so much insight to the subject. He's got all the wisdom of an older man with the spirit of a young man, so his lectures are always engaging. He's the perfect teacher for this subject. Straightforward grading; if you study and engage in the material, you can surely get an A.

Make sure to do the workbook, study before the test and you will be fine. His lectures are a little dry.Yet, you have to go to class to get the clicker points. Overall not a bad class.

probably my favorite professor in psychology so far. Has a really chill way of presenting the course. Just do the HW, the reading, and attend class for some clicker points. Nicest guy ever and VERY interesting when it came to the spiritual side of Gerontology. Really hope his spiritual Psychology class gets picked up so i can attend that.

3 exams, 3 voc papers, & 1 interview paper. extra credit opportunities are available. he's easy, just do the work. he doesn't take attendance but you should show up for his ppts because they will be on the test. you will need the textbook because a lot of the materials in the text book will be on the test as well. highly recommended!

Class is based heavily out of the book. He provides a study guide for each quiz. He keeps class interesting, is very personable & makes you want to come to class. We watched movies, held discussions & worked in groups. Guest speakers very helpful if you want to work in the psych field. You can tell he loves being around students.

Dr. Lough gives a clear cut syllabus at the beginning of the semester which offers extra credit. He tries to give study guides that specifies if the terms are from the lecture or from the book which makes it easier to avoid having to read full chapters. His lectures sometimes seemed long, but he is a very enthusiastic character about the field.

Really amazing professor, please do yourself a favor and take PSY150 with him. Although he speaks quietly, he tries to relate to us with examples and experiences. His tests are super easy as well (print out the study guide and fill it in and you'll be fine) , one term paper. It's impossible to even get a D, let alone an F in this class.

Dr. Lough is the best choice for this tough class. Class consists of a paper about self, 9 ICW assignments and 4 quizzes. This was my third class with him and hope to take many more with him. I ended up with a C but learned a lot. You will need the book to understand the lectures.

Professor Lough is the most dynamic psychology professor. Perfect for the introductory course; it ignites a curiosity about other psychology courses. the class is easy, do the reading and the quizzes will be a breeze. Lots of extra credit opportunity; which are also fun. He's great!

I loved Professor Lough's class so much, definitely one of the best professors I had this semester. He sets clear criteria on what is going to be on the quiz and uploads all the power points, if you go to lectures, take notes, and study you'll do well. I'm finishing off the semester with a 101%, because he does a big curve

One paper on anything in the book, terms for each exam for points, HUGE CURVE (free points) amazing guy. No final exam, you dont have to worry about the material after the test! Started the class of with meditation, grades on a curve, and is pleasant. There was a number of outside presentations and current event discussions that did not pertain to the exams though. If you're a good student, you should get a good grade regardless of content presented, but that's just me. (No + or -, just solid grades).
