Class lectures are useless. This man is hard to understand. Read the book, the tests are hard but nothing really comes from class notes.

I had him for ED PSYch. He was awful! I can't believe he is allowed to teach anything about education. He would teach something and then mark it wrong on the test even though it is what he taught in class!!! (wouldn't admit he was wrong about it either)

He has a hard time teaching because of the differences in the language. A vocab word will have 1 meaning in a sentance and a totally different meaning in the following sentance. The tests are extremely hard to follow.

AWFUL teacher - can't even understand him.....very unorganized - have you seen his office?!! HE LOST A MAKEUP TEST I TOOK and just made up a grade to give me!!

Well...if you had Child Psych. you will be fine, its pretty much all the same. I got an A without paying much attention to him, he really doesnt seem to know what hes talking about, but hes nice enough

I think I listened about 2 or 3 actual times until I realized I was wasting my time and I could teach myself. One day all we did was talk about milk. Some of the stuff he says is hysterical, but only because it doesn't make sense.

This guy should not be teaching Educational Psychology. He knows nothing about the subject. His discussions are irrelevent and a waste of time.

had him for night class..horrible teacher.. Tests are very unclear and a lot of it is things you havent seen before. Most of my class was doing horrible and asked him for help or extra credit and he wont do either. Also did not fallow syllabis

I would defitnitly not recommend him. He is very unorganized and his lectures seem like they are the same every class. His tests are hard because he doesn't go over anything thats on it

BAD TEACHERS.no one can do good on his test sso he tried to help us by giving us a take home test.well 4 out of about 50 students got an A. People told him the ones he marked wrong were right and they proved it in the book and he STILL kept it marked wrong.not willing to listen to students at all!!

He never helped with anything. Didn't use my files, didnt know my name, and I am a senior. Wound up going to other profs to make sure I had everything done. Checks his voicemail once every month if you're lucky...overall, FRUSTRATING.

I thought that this class would be a great class. But with him as the teacher he ruined it! At times it's funny cause its all about sex. Yet he always talks about people he knows who have all these weird sexual behaviors...I think it's him he just doesnt want to admit it.

He is a horrible teacher, lectures are not relavent to tests, texts, or anything even remotely close to psychology. His tests are impossible to pass. You can't understand a word he says due to his accent also every other word out of his mouth is um, um, um. That is very obnoxious. What ever you do don't take MUGGI he is a horrible teacher!!!!!!

He can't speak clear english. Hard to concentrate on lecture with accent.

First the good. He's a nice person. Unfortunately that's about it. Don't bother taking notes. The test ?'s come out of the book and are exclusively about the book content (pointless). If you don't read the book you will fail. Don't skip class, it will reflect on your grade. If you can't avoid him, good luck and godspeed.

His class is difficult. His accent is too thick to understand what he is saying, and the tests are practically impossible. He says all of the tests questions come from the book, but I've read all the chapters and never seen half of that stuff. Try to avoid this one.

Honestly the worst prof I've taken in my three years here. I learned nothing in class, managed B's on the pointless tests, and for some reason have recieved no final grade which translates as an F until resolved. I was told by admins that this was a trend with him. I have been kicked out of pro sem due to this man's ineptitude. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The lectures and the book have no relation to the questions on the test. He rambles on and on about pointless stories that are usually ****ed. He also has a tendency of embarassing people when they answer questions! Not only will your test scores suck, the lectures are manditory and make you want to either fall asleep or die. AVOID!!!

hard to understand...very very biased...will embarrass you and make you feel stupid for answers/opinions...tests have nothing to do with what he lectures on, but they also don't come from the book. annoying. boring. will make you hate him. and yet an A isn't too hard to acheive, due to a curve and him just grading you on being there and stuff.

In ALL seriousness, with absolutely no exaggeration, George Muugi is without a doubt the WORST professor on campus. And you're hearing this from someone who got an A in his class. He constantly contradicts himself and goes on political rants at the drop of a hat. He needs to be fired like no one else I've ever encountered in my life.

Difficult to understand, constantly late to class (total disregard for our time), obnoxious & abusive to people who dared to have an opinion (yet he'll complain about lack of participation), & insanely boring. Great textbook though, read it while you're trying to stay awake...

do not take him! his lectures are boring and often difficult to understand because of his accent, and he takes attendance a lot and has weekly questions for points to make people come to class. his tests honestly aren't too hard if you read the textbook, but i definitely don't recommend taking him because he's just horrible at teaching.

Class was really hard. Not interesting at all. His tests are out of a cd rom that you might get with the book. Can't understand him. Very boring professor.

Do everything in your power not to take this professor. I promise you, you will not do well. This is coming from a student on the Dean's List every semester I've been here. His lectures are worthless. The tests are ridiculous. He seems like a jolly fellow, but the man can't teach. Just don't do it.

If the staff knew how worthless he and his classes are, he'd be fired in no time. He is mean and says/asks inappropriate (not funny) things in class. He is boring beyond comprehension, he will have no guidelines for assignements & then springs them on you while youre handing them in. I did well in his class, but he is terrible. I want him fired!

I got an A in his class by reading the book on my own. He takes the questions directly from the practice quizzes on the book's website. HUGE waste of time; the lectures are worthless and incomprehensible. This man needs to be fired like no one else I've ever met. The man is a poster case for the abolishment of the tenure system.

He is one of the worst profs on campus. I am amazed that he has a job teaching. He is so unclear about his expectations! He assigned an 8 page paper and it was only worth 20 points! 20! he's terrible!!!!

This is the worst prof I've ever had. His accent makes it difficult to understand what he's saying. There are things on the test I don't ever remember him mentioning. He assigned a 2-3 page paper only worth 10 points! And he took a point off of mine because it wasn't stapled. His lectures are worthless and he doesn't make sense. Don't take him!

I had Muugi for Ed. Psych and was horrible. I never wanted to show up but attendance was required so I spent my classtime doing other work. If you take Muugi you will feel like you have wasted your time. I sure did.

He is a TERRIBLE professor. He was not helpful at all. His classes have attendance required, but anything he lectures about is rarely on tests. Everything is from the textbooks. So class is a complete waste of time and it makes it hard to force yourself to go. Don't take him!

It's a good course, I personally can't understand him that well to keep me interested. He's a good teacher though. He goes over all the materials.

He mumbles when he speaks, he does not speak clearly at all, and he cannot pronounce most of the words he says. He goes through his notes quickly, and his tests are ridiculous. If you read the book, you'll pass. And by read the book, I mean each chapter front to back at least 4 times. Avoid this class if possible, it will save you time and money

I already rated him, but here I go again. When he gives you the questions for the tests, he only gives you half of what to study. The other half of the test is on material he never even MENTIONED in class. He's not helpful and I find he's rude when you do ask for assistance. You're better off not taking his class. You can't even understand him!

Out of my 4 years in college, I have never had such an unhelpful teacher. HE DOES NOT TEACH. I got an A.. but his class was a joke. Attendence is mandatory, but his lectures are off topic,pointless, and terribly boring. He doesnt give any notes in class or online,and you can't understand him. You need to read the book and do the study guide questions to do well. He does,however,put huge curves on the test. Try to avoid him if possible

His lectures are absolutely useless and you can't understand him. His tests are pretty hard. I learned absolutely nothing in this class. He will never admit when he's wrong, and if you go in for extra help it's useless. Don't waste your time.

Attendance made up 5% of the grade but I hated his class so much that I barely attended and just read from the textbook, and I got an A-. It was fine because you learn literally nothing form his lectures, although he wasn't happy about my constant skipping.

Nice guy, unqualified to teach. I've found his lectures unbearable. He rambles and uses book verbatim. If you do poorly on tests, he gives an outrageous curve: one brought me from a 50 percent to an 83 on a test. Attendance counts for 10%, but you're basically just teaching yourself anyway.

Muugi is the worst professor I've had at Kutztown so far. He's hard to understand and he barely understands his students. You never know what your grade is. His class is boring and if you don't read and take your own notes you're pretty much bound to fail.

Textbook required -- professor optional. Everything is from the book, and you will be teaching yourself. His lectures consist of figures from the book that he talks about for way too long. He tells a lot of anecdotes that (very) loosely relate to the material. He doesn't go over anything that's not in the book. There are 4 tests, and 1 paper.

Easy grade BUT it is not worth it. He is traumatically offensive. He also assumes everyone is spoiled with a mom and dad, doesn't take care of themselves and straight. Refuses to take no for an answer when a student does not want to answer due to CLEAR DISCOMFORT. I was able to picture a sexual assault that I did not witness thanks to his details.

Worst professor on campus. Do not choose him as a professor if you are interested in psychology because he makes it boring. He doesnt teach, you have to teach yourself by using the book. He has a heavy accent and tells random stories that dont connect to the curriculum. Doesnt upload grades so the semester is a guessing game. Terrible professor.

Im sorry but do not take this professor, he does not know what he is doing and just talks about his personal life. If you email him, he will never answer you. just do not. Also, if you ask him a question, he will not answer it.

All of the grades rely on tests and one paper at the beginning of the semester which was a very easy A. He does not give rubrics or any type of specification on assignments. He tells stories during his lectures, but his lecture information is never on the test. Everything is from the book.
