Professor Odisho is great, he doesn't give that many homework and wants his students to really enjoy his class and don't get stressed. You can easily get an A in his class if you do the discussions. There is a final paper at the end of the course but it is based on the discussions from the semester which makes it super easy,

Professor Odisho is a cool professor who can really connect with students and who you can be comfortable to speak with. The class was only 50 minutes long and does not require textbooks for his course. His lectures are chill and interesting as he can provide many real-life examples with companies. Although attendance is not required, if you go to his class one day, there is no way you will not come back.

Professor Odisho is really chill and a great professor. Attendance is not mandatory but I suggest you go to at least one class because he is super funny and gives loads of real life examples. Expect to have a partner for all assignments but, they are very very easy to do even if your partner bails on you leaving you to do everything.

Probably the only finance class that values class discussions where the professor would consistently ask the students what they thought or felt about a subject. I think I've learned more from Professor Odisho than I've learned from any other professor. It's like sitting through a Ted Talk haha - he's nice, funny and really down to earth.

Caring professor, great life discussions, fun & easy, low pressure, no textbook. 1 thing I do wish that more detailed examples were given on how to analyze financial statements. Perhaps because it was only a 1 unit class we received more of an overview of concepts instead of in-depth. Having said that I would recommend taking his class.

Professor Oshido is very caring and makes the lectures really interesting. The class is a one unit class so the material wasn't hard to grasp and the work is very straightforward. I recommend taking this course with him.

Professor Odisho is one I recommend taking! There are about 9 partner discussions you have to do throughout the semester which is very doable. His lectures are great as he teaches about real world situations and is a funny guy.

I appreciated that the Professor gave financial tips that were applicable to real-life situations but there was a level of assumed knowledge to complete the weekly discussions that we didn't go over in class. Class schedule was also a bit sporadic and lacked some communication, like the link to the syllabus remaining broken throughout the semester.

Super straightforward professor. You have to try to fail, literally, in his class. He is super open and helpful. More worried about teaching real world and practical stuff.

If you need to take FIN3225 I would definitely recommend taking this professor! He is so funny and he loves what he does. He responds to emails fairly quickly and his course is very straightforward. Homework is only discussions, in which you are in groups of 2-3 and split the workload for the whole semester. Do the work and you will pass with an A!

Take this class!! Very easy and straightforward discussion(9 total) based class and the "final paper" is all the discussions combined. Everything is due at the end of the semester and no final exam or midterm. I feel like Professor Odisho uses this class as his comedic debut the way he be cracking jokes. Very fun class I would take it again.

Odisho is a super easy going professor. He understands how busy the lives of students can be and shapes his class to that fact. He gave us the option of choosing in person or online. Amazing Professor! You work with a partner, and together you respond to discusssions. At the end of the semester, you put all those discussions together and that is your final paper. I haven't received my grade yet, you have to wait till the end of the semester. It is all taken at your own pace if you take him online. He is very nice and it was a very easy and fun class to take. First of all, great person overall. He's very nice and all around a very easy going professor with REAL world experience. He does not just read off a textbook and assigns group discussions or anything unrelated to finance. His lectures actually teach you what is going to be expected from you in the real world but he makes it very relatable.

He's a pretty relaxed professor who is funny and really good at responding to whatever questions you might have. The assignments in the class are pretty easy. They are group assignments but if you have a group member not doing their work he doesn't count that against the rest of the group.
