Amazing professor! I will remember him forever, really cares about what he teaches and wants to help. If you think english literature is interesting, he's the one. His accent makes it hard to understand him and he basically gives you what the test will be over and reviews it with the class. He usually expects your answer to be what his was.

I highly recommend him for ENGL 1302. An amazing professor with passion for his work. take your work seriously, finish all assignments and an A will automatically come. Not a tough grader and he strives to make sure you understand what he teaches. TAKE HIM! TAKE HIM! TAKE HIM!

I just finished a 5-week summer course. It was an easy class. You will learn how to be a better writer. The book & Professor explain everything you need to know about the different types of essays and how to format them and cite your sources. People in previous comments complain about an accent, but he is comprehensible.

His class for the most part was really good! The only hard part about his class was understanding what he was saying. Most of the people in class had to figure out what he was saying from each other. Other than that, he's a really good teacher & has an exact way he wants you to learn the material.

Simplified Comp 2 course. Great teacher but HIGHLY disorganized. I would take him again if it wasn't for that. He will tell you exactly what he wants in a paper so just listen and follow. Any feedback given on a paper is never really clear. Definitely show up to class, he will lower your grade if you are consistently absent or late.

Prof Oti is a funny professor who kind of passes everyone as long as you don't slack off. I took him for 1301 and it was almost the same class. Take this class if you want to pass.

Solid choice. Easy to pass his class. Just don't slack. His class mostly consists of helping you write a great MLA paper, by continually editing + reuploading the same paper with more content. Bring hard copies for your peers to grade. Occasional easy grammar tests. His 2 portfolio checks are basically, how "many hard copies do you have with you?"

Taking him now. He appears to humor to relax students. He makes an otherwise difficult writing course easy to follow. I see he has great plans to move us higher and higher. MLA, concepts of an academic paper etc are now his emphasis. The class is quite organized .
