FAIRLY EASY TEACHER..GREAT TEST REVIEWS WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS READ TO YOU...VERY CONFUSING LECTURES...HARD TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE BOOK
Pabis has a good personality, and organized teaching style. He provides enough info through lecture, outlines and review to get an A+ if you just show up to class. He gives no assignments except lectures and 1 book report paper for the semester. A+++

Great teacher. Passionate about what he is doing.
Easy A! For a whole semester, I went to about 13 classes. Show up on the days to watch videos, come to the review and find the answers in the book (his test answers are word for word from the book). The correct answer is always the longest multiple choice
Great teacher, lectures aren't had to sit thourgh and teach a lot in a short amount of time, videos are very useful and interesting. He gives thorough reviews. 3 tests and 1 book review essay are each 25% of grade a piece, Great teacher, great class.
He was a good teacher but it was a lot of lecture and for the tests he gets questions from his lecturing and the book.
Very interesting teacher. His lectures are good- he uses a lot of videos which makes it more interesting than straight lectures all the time. Does not use book.
When I took his course, he would always change the dates of tests and reviews without ever telling anyone just so the students would attend class. If you plan on taking this class, make sure you are at all of them.
This professor is very tough. He knows how to teach, but follow directions on your test, or you will not like him. He said we were lucky not to be reading a history novel.
Easy A. Easy to follow....
Pabis is like your high school history teacher. He loves what he teaches and he does it well. He goes over the test the day before question by question. The only way you could fail his class is if you were trying too. He does not use the book.
scatter-brained. notes are hard to follow.tests are hard and there are no make-up tests. no extra-credit. He loves what he is teaching but does not relate what he wants to say clearly, especially after 12:00p.m. Not the best teacher
I loved him. His tests were all multiple choice, but long. He had great notes from the web-site, and was extremely enthusiastic. He kept all interested, even at 10:00pm. Lots of videos too.
He is very helpful on the test reviews. Lectures can be boring at times, but his energy will wake us all up and get us interested. Though some profanity slips every now and then. He gives an objective view with his bias opinions slightly on the side.
great and educated teacher. knows what he's talking about.
Lectures are a bit boring. Gives all class notes on his website which is helpful. Does an excellent review before each test. No chance for extra credit. Three tests, that's it! Must read short novel but it's an easy read.
Fun class, watched alot of videos. Easy A. Gives the test answers as a review so you have to look up the questions. I only opened my book a day before the tests and made an A. Hes nice and pretty funny
This class was beyond easy. The man gives you the questions before the test so all you have to do is find the answers. He is very random but is pretty consistent when it comes to notes. Most of all cuts out most of the bs material in class.
he is a very good teacher. he loves what he is teaching. History was not my thing. But i loved his class. He gives all the questions for the test. all we have to do is find the answers. I highly recommend him.
Extremely enthusiastic and very nice, although somewhat scatterbrained. It takes a bit to get used to but it is quite charming actually. Easy A if you follow in class and actually try, but you learn a lot.
TALKS TOO FAST; IDEAS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. HARD TO TAKE NOTES CUZ HE CHANGES TOPICS QUICKLY. ONE HAS TO BE EXTRA ATTENTIVE TO PASS.
The ratings look like I didn't like him. I really did, but his class was tough. His tests consisted of 3 essays that went on and on. I actually ended up with an A in the class, but only because I slaved through it.
My favorite teacher so far. Very entertaining. Tells interesting stories and makes tests easy. Go to his review sessions!! And show up for the videos, which are important. The one book report is actually on something interesting.
not a hard teacher. After you get used to his way of teaching you'll be fine. If you show up for class regularly and come to every test review and study the night before the test you should do fine. I got a high A in his class with not all too much effort
At his test review sessions, he tells you what the questions will be. Yes, there are essay questions, but you know what they're going to be beforehand, people! I loved this man. Also, he has you write a paper but it's easy. I got an 100% on the paper.
he is AWSOME!! Ok you would be a fool not to take his class. it is interesting and he makes it easy for you, by the whole study guide and him telling you what it is going to be on the test. take him he will make the gpa go up.
Do not take his class. This is the most boring class I have been in. He speaks while watching videos that you must test on and he makes you write all your notes while he stands in front of the projector. Do Not take his course!!!!!!!!!
He's a really nice person. He makes the class interesting by paying attention to aspects of U.S. history that most teachers have shyed away from in the past. Also he reads the questions to his exams to the class on a test review day. Do not take his class if you do not like watching videos.
He's Races and thinks some people are dumb. He's nice at some people but not to all.
fairly easy class. gives a review of every question before the test, so definetly go the day before. He's kind of scatter brained and it takes a few classes to get used to his way of teaching. take good notes on the videos. recommended.

Very fair teacher. Treats all students the same. Fairly easy class, but you must read the book. Wacky, but fun lectures. He will make you laugh. I took him for both World Civ. 1 and U.S. History 1. A+ both times. Great teacher!
He is so excited about history. He gives you a book to read and then you have to write a paper on it, but it is an easy A. His test are right from his notes and his study guide. If you have to take any history take the one he teaches!
This man is far from being a ****. Good grief. He is extremely nice and very well educated on the subject. He is willing to help and answer questions. He gives you one paper, and TELLS you what is on the tests. I got an A in his class. If you get anything below a B it is your own fault.
I thought he was a great teacher...made history interesting! He is very fair when he grades. I would highly recommend!
How can you not love Dr. Pabis? He's smart and his class is interesting. But his class is not for slackers. If you don't care about school and just want to get by on the least amount of work, don't bother w/ him.
Extremly organized lectures, Excellent pre-test reviews, very fair and friendly with students. Everything is from his class notes and videos. Class is enjoyable and interesting. You would have to be a complete moron not to make an A in this class with all the organization and help this proff. gives.
Amazing teacher! Never once enjoyed history before his class. He makes history fun and interesting. Lots of videos but neat if you give them a chance. Excellent PP notes and a review before each test. Gives a book to read but always great books! Take his class...you will be happy you did.
Many times does not finish a sentance he started and jumps to a different topic. Gives hints for tests, but, wach out!, on the test you are going to have mostly absolutley different quostions. I do not recomend this instructor.
dude, pabis is so freakin cool.... if i had to take another world history class agian, i would definetly take him
Fantastic teacher! Get very excited about the material and makes lectures interesting. Tests are straight forward. Will give some review for tests but reading the book is the difference b/w an A and a B. Highly Recommended!
He is very easy as long as you pay attention to the power points and take notes. He gives you everything you need you don't even have to open the book.
He was just an ok teacher for me
Very helpful, very nice, very knowledgeable, interesting class, and tests are easy. He makes lectures interesting and really gets excited about the material.
Dr. Pabis shows lots of excitement when he is teaching. Class is easy as long as you take notes, which are all on power point slides, and pay attention to all the videos he shows during the semester.
awesome teacher!! he REALLY knows his stuff! You do have to read a book and write an essay, but it's easy. Go to class, take notes, and study for a bit before the test and you will make an A!
I LOVED HIS CLASS. AS LONG AS YOU GO TO THE CLASS AND TAKE NOTES, YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEMS. HIS NOTES ARE ON POWERPOINT AND EASY TO FOLLOW. HE IS HYPER BUT VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE MATERIAL WHICH MAKES THE CLASS FUN AND EASY. HE HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY. TAKE HIS CLASSES!!!
Very awesome teacher! Very excited about what he teaches and you also have some good laughes. Tests were a tad hard for me but his powerpoint notes were wonderful. Every teacher should be this good!
He is very understanding and and is enthusiastic about the subject. He knows the subject very well, and he is just a very silly man.
he is really nice and really hyper which make the class very intersting. you can tell that he really likes history. and he make all of this jokes and he is really really nice to student. he is overall a great teacher and his class is really easy
Very exticed make it intresting but sometime goes off on tangents. Watch alot of movies but he uasally will point out what is important in them. Fairly fun to take just don't look at his mouth.
Hard class, but great teacher. You have to read a hugh novel of his choice, but besides that, not to bad. Although I honestly got bored alot, and would sit there and draw funny pictures of him to pass time, he gives great study guides. Strict on attendence!! Easy B or C, hard to get an A!!!!!
He's an awsome teacher and energetic. He is very helpfull. ;p
Very cool teacher... he's really ecited about everything he teaches. The tests are based entirely on the notes, so attend all classes and DO NOT buy the book... or you'll be wasting money!!
This class was very easy if you just go to all classes and review sessions. His tests came straight from the review section. Anyone who doesn't make an A isn't trying at all!
He does a graet job teaching, is a little hard to stay focus but his powerpoints are very helpfull.
He is an awesome professor, always happy, and very nice. He has 4-5 tests (one of them you can drop), and you have to read a book and write an essay about it, which sucks. TAKE HIM!
Awsome Guy!!! I'm usually not easly motivated but his class really got me awake!!!Gotta study a little but the tests are really easy if you just glance over the review. He knows his history thats for sure. TAKE HIM!!! EASY A!!!!
Dr. Pabis actually made HIST 2112 exciting. His test come straight from his powerpoints, and he makes his class very interesting. The only issue is that you have to read a book and write an essay. Other than that, he's a great guy and a great professor. Highly Reccomended.
What a great teacher. He entertains as he teachs. Do not need book. If you copy powerpoint and take notes on videos then write down the review you will ace this class and actually know something when done. Do start early on assigned book for bookreport.
Professor Pabis absolutely loves what he does. I was not looking forward to his class at all, but his energy and interest are contagious. Wonderful, wonderful professor!
An absolutely amazing teacher. Dr. Pabis is passionate about what he does, and it rubs off on his students. If you can handle his unorthodox methods (he gets emotionally overwhelmed and strays off onto another topic sometimes - it's half funny / half moving), then you will enjoy his class.
DR pabis is AWESOME! what other teacher tells you exactly what will be on the tests?? gives great reviews. he makes history interesting, not boring!!
Great teacher. Pretty funny too. Simple format of teaching: notes, review for test, and then test. Review is pretty much the test. No lower than a B on tests. Term paper kind of tough (read a book), but managed to get a 97...out of 200. J/K it was out of 100. Passed class with A. Didn't have to take final (drops lowest test grade).
Great Teacher!! He lets you know everything that is going to be on the test the class before, so it's very easy to get an A.
He is a great teacher because all you need to do is show up, listen to him, and take notes. He has a good understanding of what's important to know. Also gives good reviews before test. You have to read a book and write a paper, that's pretty much the only hard part of the class!
Dr.Pabis is very weird. but he takes a boring class like history and makes it entertaining. he is highly recommended He says you need the book but I never used it and I got an A. Take him if you want an easy A he give you the questions on the test the day before you take it!!!
this teacher is so cool, he is extremely helpful and makes learning history fun.
Pabis is probably one of the BEST teachers i have ever had. I'm not a big history fan, but honestly after taking his class i have a little more respect for the subject. He is animated, fun, dorky, and WONDERFUL!
His class is so easy! He says that his powerpoints are helpful though and they're not really, but his reviews are awesome. He basically reads off every test question. Take him if you can.
he is a great teacher. loves what he does. looks a bit like a mix between jimmy fallon and kermit the from. and he dances around sometimes. it is funny.
I LOVED him! He makes history interesting, and his lectures are very clear. Just take notes and do a quick scan over the chapter. He goes over the tests the day before and tells you everything you need to know. You read a book and write a paper about it at the end of the semester, but it's an easy "A" as long as you don't wait 'til the last minute.
He is an awesome teacher. He is real easy, just take notes. He test review basically gives each question. Take this guys class and you should get an A
Good online class, very clear and forward. Weekly tests can be tough but you get three trys no time limit, Three papers includes the midterm and final. Responds quicly to e-mails. Take the class you will get a A if you do the work.
Pabis is the man if you have the oppotunity to take him do it he is an awesome teacher, he is easy but he also makes sure you know everything that is important.
Pabis is an excellent instructor. I had him for US. and World history. Would take him again if I had a need. Easy A, great reviews for test - he uses the questions from the actual test to do the reviews. How can you beat that! Take him if you want a high grade with not too much work. He is funny in his own way too!! Enjoyed both classes.
Professor Pabis is great! Notes are clear and helpful, He gives you several chances to get full points for them. He gives lots of good lecture material, even for those taking classes online (videos, slides, websites, etc). Quizzes & 1 paper, that's it. Good class, better than I thought it would be. I would definitely take his class!
Very clear and interesting online class. Read from textbook (which is very well written) and websites, then listen to his podcast. I must admit that I used the podcast the first few times, then just did the exams whilst reading the book. Very easy A.
Don't look an further-this is the teacher you NEED TO TAKE. He talks on a podcast-gives unlimted time for quizzes-so if something comes up-you can walk away from your computer and come back to it another time-or even day. His websites are cool too-this history class was very interesting-I heard things at trivia nite that were on his quizzes!
Please take this class. There are quite a few quizzes, but you have 2 chances to take them with no time limit. There is No final exam, however, there is one paper. It's an easy class. I got an A.
He is a great teacher!! I took him for the half semester and really enjoyed learning the material. I would take him again.
cool guy just dont plan on missing the tests. Easy tests just study the study guide he gives the day before. make sure to write the paper as well
Pabis is so nice! One of the best profs I have ever had. He practically hands you an A by going over every test question the day before the tests. There are 3-4 tests and 1 essay due toward the end of the semester.
Vrey good professor. I would take him for every history class. Very helpful. Test can be a little hard, but you are able to take them twice, and the questions do not change.
He is a FANTASTIC teacher! I loved him. Everything is online and the class is extremely easy!!! I would recommend him to anyone! :)
I took this class online. I did not have the book, but the questions come DIRECTLY from the slides and pod-cast. The paper was long but extremely interesting to write. I passed this class with a 96%. Highly recommended.. 14 quizzes one Paper. His fall08 section did not have a final, answers emails timely.will take again!!!
Still trying to figure out this professor. Sometimes loses me as his thoughts seem to flow faster than he can get the words out. Gives students a very good chance to get an A. Would highly recommend.
3 words. EASY EASY EASY. Online class was a breeze!!
Very easy. All the tests were online and you could take them twice. I would recommend him to anyone.
Super easy online class, Our section only wrote 1 paper 1500-2000 words, we wrote about ancient women. Great topic and the paper was a breeze to write. we did not have a final, quizzes were all online (obviously)and u have 2 tries. no discussions to answer, interactive power point. even though the class was easy, i still learned a lot.
Pabis is an easy teacher. 14 quizes and 1 epic paper due at the end of the semester. All his quizes are online and you have a week to do them. You can tell he really enjoys teaching!
Entire class periods are either power points or movies. Power points help on tests some, but you can find all the answers in the website or the book, as well.
He is a very easy teacher. I made an A in the class and barely ever went to class. He does mumber alot and gets sidetracked though but really you can make an A in his class and not do anything.
pabis, is a easy teacher, i deff recommend taking him.
Took class online. Professor detailed and organize. A quiz weekly. Only one paper and journal. Gives plenty powerpoint and webcast presentaiton. Grades fair! Easy A. Would recommend to take online.
Prof Pabis is a great instructor for online. He gives you all the information you need to do well. He does a podcast for every lesson. One research paper, an essay journal, and one test per week.
Great teacher test were easy as long as you studied the powerpoint, read through chapters, and listen to his podcast. only reqiures you to write one paper, which he gives the research for. I enjoyed him a lot and learned an abundance.
Not sure if Mr. Pabis really cared about his students. I am taking his class on campus, but the tests are online and you can not review them after taking ( which ticks me off because I would like to know what I got wrong). When I e-mailed him once about a question he did not even answer the question, like he did not want to help. And he is very uno
Very unorganized.
Ummmm.. I'm a little on the fence about him. His class is not difficult as long as you take notes and study? ... (I got an A) but he is completely absentminded. He rambles constantly, interrupts himself and is spacey. He gets through the lectures though, but he can be rough to listen to after 30 minutes. If you can handle that, you'll be okay!
Great professor! There were tests once a week that were pretty easy and a long term paper due at the end of the semester. That's the only work that was given for the class. Coming to class and taking notes from his power points is important since his tests have questions taken from the power points.
He was recommended and I was NOT disappointed. Easy was of teaching material. MUST TAKE.I took him online. I learned alot about history. Websites and lectures are very important, can use any history book that covers the pre-historic times to 1500
I took his class online this summer and would definitely recommend him. Dr. Pabis uses podcasts (important),the book, and websites; questions for the tests are derived from all materials. He was very helpful and fair- take him, you won't regret it!
I took his hybrid class. He's very funny and very helpful. All of the podcasts and slide shows are avaliable always. Enjoyed his class! Essay journals are easy as well. Take him for an easy A!
Dr. Pabis is a great and funny professor! I took him for his hybrid class, and enjoyed it! The online tests were difficult for me. I would recommend him to anyone! Great man!
I took his summer hybrid class and made an A. Attendance and participation are required. Just go to class, take notes (which you need to write the essays) and read. Test questions come from the book so you do need to buy it.
Pabis was very good I enjoyed his podcast. I took Pabis as a half a semester class. I had two tests a week and a discussion question. I was in an accelerated course so that's to be expected. You will use your book a lot so make sure to buy this one. He's pretty clear and to the point and grades fast.
Very much enjoyed this class--which is a huge surprise! Taking this online could have been a challenge, given the subject matter, but it was a very straightforward course: watch the documentaries (which were very interesting), listen to his podcasts, and discuss! Easy A (given that you like to discuss what you read/watch)! Great professor!
Dr Pabis is a Great professor. He is very responsive, quick to grade, and VERY clear and organized. If you watch his podcast and do the discussions, you will pass his class easily. His online class is much better than my on-campus classroom experiences. He is passionate of what he does. I made an A in his class.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!
Had him online for half the summer semester. The class no doubt went by very fast (3 weeks) with several discussions a week, but it was well worth it. Do the discussions and watch the videos and you'll make an A. It's inevitable. He is fast at grading and very passionate about history. Highly recommend!!! :)
don't need to buy a book for this professor, even thought he asked his students to buy one. He usually gave you everything what you need for his works! Easy A, take his online course! only 10 discussion, one midtern, one assessment test, and a final! should be a easy A for everyone!
Nice teacher. Watch the videos and screencasts and make sure your discussions meet all requirements. I didn't even use my book. The videos are interesting and the screencasts are not too bad - the professor has a nice voice! :)
Two discussions per week, one midterm essay, one final essay, and a final acessment test. Very clear about what he wants, documentaries were very interesting. BE SURE TO DO THE DISCUSSIONS! they are worth a lot. I took him for half-semester btw. No need to purchase the book.
WAY too much work! So much you'd think he thought we had no other classes. Very time consuming and the videos to the discussions are always LONG! The screencasts are very slow. He is very clear on things and not lenient with anything. If you want a lot of work to do take him, but I will say it's somewhat easy so that was the only upside.
Took World History online and have an A. Keep up with when discussions are due and actually do them and you will have an easy A. I highly recommend his online class whether you are good at History or not.
Just do your discussion and replies and you'll be fine! No need to watch videos all notes are in power points! He references handouts all the time, but I never saw one all semester long. Great Guy willing to help and will always tell you if he hears of a problem with Galileo, iCollege, or his videos. Do your part and you'll get a good grade.
This is a great online class. The videos and screen cast with the professor's comments helped a lot for the discussions. The videos are long but interesting. If you have the time to read the book and see the videos, you'll be able to understand history in another level. Great professor!
Mr. Pabis is a great professor. I took his Survey of World History course online.Very interesting. He was clear cut, you know what to expect. Just watch the podcast and videos for each assignment. Please do make sure to complete your discussion questions and responses every week and you will do fine. This class was awesome and i HATE HISTORY .
Mr. Pabis is a great professor. I took his Survey of World History course online.Very interesting. He was clear cut, you know what to expect. Just watch the podcast and videos for each assignment. Please do make sure to complete your discussion questions and responses every week and you will do fine. This class was awesome .
Mr. Pabis is a great professor. I took his Survey of World History course online.Very interesting. He was clear cut, you know what to expect. Just watch the podcast and videos for each assignment. Make sure to complete your discussion questions and responses every week and you will do fine. This class was awesome .
Professor Pabis online Survey of World History course was very good. He is fair and clear cut.Not much of textbook use. Watch podcast, videos complete discussion questions and you will be fine
As an online class, you must have the time to look at podcast and do the discussions. If you can do this, you will definitely pass the course.
Take his class. He hosts discussions from his podcast and videos. They are very interesting. He doesn't impose his personal beliefs and respects others opinions. There are 2 papers which he grades fairly. I enjoyed his class and learned SO MUCH. Top notch professor.
very time consuming. do not take him if you have a full load. he is not helpful at all
I took this as a half semester class and made out with a 99 He is very clear on what he expects. There are a lot of discussion post two discussions post of 300+ words with 3 responses for each of 200+ words. You don't need the books, just watch the videos that he assigns and you'll do great. I would take this class over again in a heartbeat.
I accidentally registered for a half term online class. It was a lot of work but was fun and learned a lot. Hardly used the book but learned a lot. Taking him again for 1111. DO THE REQUIRED DISCUSSION POSTS!
MUST TAKE! I took him for an online half smelter class, he was great! I got a 100% on every assignment ! EASY A+
Great teacher! He really has a class that will hold students interest by creating screencasts and including videos that are very interesting and enjoyable! DON'T COPY OFF THE INTERNET. Put some effort into your posts, and he is more than fair. Responds promptly also. I got an A+
Easy A if you do all of the discussions and 1 paragraph essays.
Professor Pabis is great. Discussions and discussions. You do have to watch his podcast and another video or two, but they are pretty interesting. The videos can be long, but it's better and more educational than reading to me. TAKE HIM!
Enjoyed this class. No tests at all. Just discussions, about one per week requiring a total of 4 posts each. Posts are responses to the lectures and videos. Super easy and don't waste your money buying the book. You don't need it.
He is awesome! I have never gotten a A in history before until now. This was by far the easiest A that I've ever earned. All you have to do is do weekly discussions (300 words) and two responses (200 words) and you are all set!!
Good teacher , Do discussions and follow instructions you will get an A
Great class! Its an easy a. There were no quizzes or tests, just discussions. If you participate like you are supposed to you will get an A+. You don't really need the book.
Don't need book at all, only discussions, no tests, 1 research essay as final, READ the syllabus and don't risk asking him stupid questions and no matter what you do, DO NOT miss a discussion. The second you mess up ONCE, it's over- he hates your guts which means harsher grading on your discussions, late email replies, etc. Stay on his good side A
Ignore person below- that student didn't miss just 'one' discussion, either way, he's a good grader, always gives feedback, open to communication at any time, easy A, don't have to buy a book, you can use online resources just fine and watch the videos and films he links- fun class that lets you learn at your own pace. He's awesome, helpful
Professor Pabis was amazing! His knowledge about the course was well worth experiencing. He was always on top of his sub. Please do not Google anything concerning this course. The discussion information has to come from the lectures. You will pass this class if you follow his guidelines.
Easiest history class i've ever taken & I hate history. Every week is the same. One lecture (10-20mins)one BBC video (45mins) & 1-300 word discussion post and 3-200 word replies. Final and midterm is the same just worth more points. Some weeks you have 2 weeks to complete the work others you have 1 week. You don't need the book. Take this class!
Regarding this on-line honors class, we had weekly reads with mandatory discussion post. Very good professor regarding the subject and gives feedback. Midterm and Final were discussion post based and final research paper was a breeze. If you read and are active in the discussion post you will do great.
I hate history with everything in me!!! I actually learned something from this class. Took it online, which I never expected to retain anything. The screencasts are extremely helpful. You can pass with the screencasts and videos. Textbook is not really needed even though I purchased it.
Great professor! ! He makes history interesting with the Screencast and videos. I use the book for further details on each chapter. My recommendation would be to take this professor.
Prof. Pabis is GREAT! He cares for his students and very helpful. I am taking his class online and he has his lecture slides that help me to understand history. There are a lot of papers for the discussion, but overall I love him.
Professor Pabis is the best! Hands down one of the best history teacher ever. He gives great feedback, no test, just discussion question and two exams. Be prepared to read and listen to his screen cast. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE.... overall its an easy A! Just do the work.
I had him for online and he was great! On all of his lectures he was very specific and not many tests or quizzes, but a lot of discussion questions! He reads every little bit of information and that you respond to classmates on what they wrote. I would take him again!!
Pabis's class is a good class to take online if you have other demanding classes. Every week you watch screencasts & a 1 to 2-hour video (i took notes on them because I was interested in learning more) & had to do a discussion. As long as you do the discussions and respond to two other students you're good. The final & mid-term are easy A's.
All you have to do is listen to his lectures and watch videos, it is VERY time consuming but he is an easy grader, good communicator, and wants you to do well. Very nice.
I took this professor at the recommendation of others on this site. I must say, it was a great choice. I took his class to replace the low grade from my younger years. Each week, you'll either have a discussion or a quiz - Discussions one week, quiz the following. He expects your post to be 300 words, with two 100-word replies. Strongly Recommend.
Took 4 week summer course. Professor Pabis was considerate of the fact it was a 4 week course. 5 quizzes 25 questions each 5 discussions main post 300 words and 2 class replies min. 100 words. midterm and a final. Creates his own lectures and selects videos based on the chapter. Wont find his quiz answers online. Do not need the book.

The most straightforward teacher I've had since I've been at Perimeter College. He will do everything to ensure you're successful at the course but complete the work for you. Take his class, work hard, don't cheat, and you'll be successful
Professor Pabis is such a great professor! I took 2 of his classes and I wish I could take more. I learned so much!
EASY A!! Every week he assigns a video or two (hour long) to watch and asks about 3 questions for a discussion post. The original post is 300 words and 2 replies with 100 words each. Most everyone that participates receives a 100% every week due to his easy grading. Other than that, just a midterm and a final which are both papers.
Easy A! Weekly discussion posts and quizzes. Can't use internet for anything or you will get major deductions! Everything is based off of his monotone youtube podcast. Still super easy though if you put in any effort!
Best Professor ever for a History class! I honestly hate history! However, I truly learned alot! You do have to post a 300word discussion and 2 100 word replies!! Easy if you actually listen to his podcasts and YouTube vids!! His videos are ver easy on your ears! I would mos def take him again no dobt what so ever!!!
I took his 1111 online class after not being in school in a over decade! I was worried itd be too much but it was EASY! We had 9 discussion posts (300 words) and 2 replies (for each discussion/100 words). He is clear in what he wants. Watch the lectures, dont plagiarize, dont use the internet and youll pass. He sets you up for success!!
Loved his class! Do the assignment post your 300 word discussion easy peasy A. I loved his videos/podcasts very informative
This class was straightforward and I enjoyed learning about World History. The screencasts/lectures that Professor Pabis made were very informative and I learned a lot. You have to use the screencasts and the Galileo videos in the lessons to write 300 word discussions and respond to someone else with 100 word responses. That's it! Great professor.
Great professor! He has a unique way of giving his lectures! Makes it fun and interesting .
Best Professor i've had a GSU. Don't get me wrong, you have to write a lot of papers but, I learned so much and his feedback was very helpful. As long as you touch on the questions he asks, you will get a A on the papers. I wish he taught more classes.
Professor Pabis is amazing and so easy. I took him online, all he has you do is 1 discussion due every week that's 300-500 words and respond to 2 discussions thats at least 100 words. If you just listen to his screencasts you'll do fine. Made 100s on all my discussions except the first one. Very easy class.
listen to podcast and complete weekly quiz. VERY EASY!!!
Dr. Pabis made this class easy. Lectures and chapters were downloadable and free. Everything pertaining to weekly discussions was clearly grouped together.
This class does include reading, but he gives a video with him speaking and a transcript, there were a few videos but just a discussion every week and he clearly says what to talk about they have to be at least 300 words and 2 replies at least 100 words and that's it. Very easy and he is so nice and helpful. I made a 100.
This is by far the best class I have had at GSU. I am taking him online and he doesn't overload you with work. He give one assignment a week. His discussion require 300 words, which you are answering questions that he gives. No midterm or final exam. There are a couple of quizzes, but they are easy. Great professor!
Loved him. It's a mini semester so the class is very short. No final or midterm. Free textbooks online on icollege. Just discussions and quizzes. As long as you read and study you'll be fine. Only downside is that he does not show the mistakes you got on the quizzes.
Mr. Pabis is by far the best online professor I've had. For HIST2110 Online I had one assignment per week, either a one page essay or a 15 question quiz. Super easy to find the answers to both. He's super lenient on essay grades, I always got 100's and barely tried on any of them. Do the work, and it's an easy A.
Mr. Pabis is the best history professor I've had by far. Easy A
Professor Pabis is a wonderful history professor, especially for an online course. His essays (2-5 pages) are incredibly helpful and easy to digest. Every week there is either a quiz (20 questions) or a discussion post based on a short documentary (4 discussion posts total). If you do the readings, the quizzes will be a breeze.
Very easy A. Only one quiz a week, which was easy and a one discussion every few weeks. No exam
highly recommend
Easiest class I've ever had. I took a mini-mester, it was only 7 quizzes and 3 discussions. The discussions are based on a 1-hour video each and all the reading comes from his own 3-5 page essays. Super straightforward class, just read/watch something and then do the assignment. Easiest thing I did during summer.
I LOVED HIS CLASS! honestly I learned so many things and PLUS I GOT AN A+! He does not grade heavy but be careful what you write about because if you just write whatever, he notices and marks off. Not speaking from experience... ALSO! QUIZZES AND EXAMS ARE ALL ON THE ESSAY/ONLINE!!!!! TAKE HIM PLEASE! EASIEST A EVER.
Very easy class. Also, textbook is free. He is a nice professor.
Professor Pabis' class was one of the easiest class I've ever taken! All we had to do was read his essays and sometimes some chapters from the free textbook for the quizzes or watch videos for the discussions. All the quizzes and final exam were open book. I definitely recommend him!!
Honestly, Dr. Pabis is a wonderful professor, I was not looking forward to taking History but he is a very easy-going professor. As long as you do your discussion posts, read over the pages he posts for the quiz, you WILL earn an A in his class. He is a MUST HAVE!
TAKE HIM ! EASY A !
Absolutely LOVED his class. Only one assignment a week, he switches between a 20 question quiz or a discussion post with 2 replies. The quiz answers can be found in textbook or his powerpoints. The discussion posts require you to watch an hour long video, but he grades really easy! He has no midterm or final exam! Take his class.
Hes a really easy grader and his feedback is amazing. I took his online course and the work was really easy. All you need to do for this class is participate in the discussions and do the quizzes. The reading was really easy and quick so you dont spend a lot of time doing that as well.
TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!easy 100 mimum work
Professor Pabis was an excellent professor. The class consists of just 9 discussions the entire year ( basically a discussion every week). He grades very easily and wants you to succeed. He writes essays for each unit and the Pabis videos are very insightful. Take him if you want a chill yet resourceful experience!
I took his Honors class during the Fall Semester, and the course consisted of multiple discussions that would have to be submitted 300-500 worded minimum with two replies of 150 words to two students. We did have an Honors quiz to do in the course, but as long as you stay on track, and you learn new things about World History.
So far the best class I took this summer. The professor George Pabis is awesome!!!
If you are on the fence about taking this professor, PLEASE TAKE HIM!!! I got a 100 in his class and I absolutely love him. All of the grades were discussion based.
Its one of the easiest class I took in college beside psychology, all we do it participate in the discussion, you will have one quiz. Everything in the class, he give you a very good amount of time to finish, there should not be a problem on taking this class along with all your other classes.
Very good teacher. Easy assignments and grades very quickly
Professor Pabis' class was a breeze - just read his essays and ace the quizzes. unstuck ai was a lifesaver for quick review before tests. Highly recommend this easy A!
US History - Very easy class, only one quiz and no final. Just discussion posts, 300 words each, and 2 100 word responses to other students. Grades generously and quickly. Also, he seems very kind. His class is an easy A!
I would say 95% of the class is discussion based. He is a very compassionate and understanding professor I would reccommend to all.
The goat. He gives out reasonable assignments every week and great resources to learn the material. He also gives out the textbook for free once the class starts. No midterm, no final. The hardest assignment was reviewing an event and comparing sources that recorded the event from different points of view and periods. Take him, no matter what.
Took Honors online, super duper easy. No major tests, just one assignment a week: just a discussion post or quiz (open note). Grades fast and clearly wants everyone to succeed. Take him for a really easy and chill class!
Super easy grader and very minimal assignments. Would definitely recommend.
Everything said about this professor is true. Full stop. One discussion a week, a couple of quizzes here and there. All so easy. Take this class!
His one of the best professors I have ever had for HIST 2210 Online. He gives amazing feedback on discussions and very lenient on deadlines and easy grader if you met the rubric. I would highly recommend to have him if you are taking HIST 2210. His essays and videos are very helpful and beneficial for his class.
The class was very easy, and all of his videos were extremely helpful—only about 1 assignment per week, usually a discussion with a few quizzes throughout the year. The final was also an exam, and there were no tests.
