His classes require you to do a lot of work. Good guy & his style of teaching is different compared to the avg professor. If u dont care for tons of work and want an easy A without doing anything, then DONT take him. Personally, I enjoy his classes.

probably the coolest proff. in CSI, i mean who else would make you do paper airplains and then compete with each others. Im not going to mention the whole money part expirience, let it be a surprise.The key is to read everything he assigns and take notes.

If you actually want to learn something in college this is the prof. to take. After taking Stern for MGT 110, MGT 310 and MGT 320, I can honestly say that his lectures, reading and writing provided me with tools that I will actually use in the real world

He's an awesome teacher who thnks outside the box..if you want to learn a different and interesting new way to look at things take his class...its challenging but a good experience

The guy is a great teacher but it's a business management class and all you learn about is self management... you have to read four books including one that he's the author of... and he's and egotistical maniac so i don't recommend you take this class

I think Stern is a great professor and he cares a lot about his student.All you have to do is be motivated and do the weekly papers.As long as you abide by the rules,you will not lose any money and in terms of the rules,it teachs you how to think on your feet and think outside the box.Have fun.

He knows his stuff and want you to do the same. Give alot of reading and papers but gives good feedback. Just do what he asks and you'll do fine. He keeps you awake and gets the class involved in the work.

Well I hope you like to read a lot-because there's 4 books in this class to read! The assignments in this class are easy-but the tests are not so easy! Take good notes, read the books-you will be tested on them. Mostly essays and short answer on the test. If there's one word in this class its 'change.' Prof. Stern wants you to think outside the box

If you are lazy, dull, boring and 'don't like to be noticed', don't take him. If you like challenges and want to learn something, take him. He's the coolest prof in CSI and he will make you learn. I like most of the books he made us read. The class was not easy at all, but it was worth it.

really good professor, not boring, knows what hes talking about. i took management process, no expensive textbooks or exams, but just a paper due every week and one group oral presentation accompanied by a research paper. if you'd like to get your moneys worth, take him, it's a great challenge, opportunity, and class. btw, i got a B.

a GREAT prof i've ever had, tho many "tools(books)" are required to read. Very Fair!

Another sucessful symetser with Prof. Stern. If your'e looking for a challenge, this class if for you, but if you want to get off easily then forget it becasue its the toughest MGT 110 class out of all of them. Not too many people showed up for the party either its shame (its always the few that fiancne it). Good luck!

By far one of the best professors I have come across in CSI. Be prepared to work very hard but more so be ready to learn. Makes the topic interesting and challenges you to think. Most rewarding class I have taken.

without a doubt the class was a challenge, lots of work, and sarcasm. helps in two ways loosens you up if your a square, and squares you up if your slacking.

This class was one of the best classes I have ever experienced. You come away with lessons you will remember and implement for the rest of your life. If you want to succeed in any endeavor and you want to get hyped in business take this class but be prepared to work. You will come away feeling you have really achieved something great.

This was a fabulous class. I guess you have to be in a certain place in your life to appreciate where he is coming from. Take his class if you want to learn a life lesson. Every class was inspirational. Not for the fainthearted. And all his "tools" are things that should be read and incorporated in your business career anyways.

College is optional. If you want to learn how to succeed in life come to school, work hard and make a difference. If you are attending school to waste some time and delay getting on with your life take a lesson in how to whistle behind the garbage truck or say "would you like fries with that." College is about learning how to succeed in life.

These comments make me laugh. You don't get Professors like this often. This guy is awesome. Yeah he has a different style of teaching but you LEARN a ton in his class. Anyone who drops him or "hates" him is probaly a lazy person who will go NO where in life. If you actually stay in the class, you learn lessons that will help you in your life.

The reason why he gets bad ratings is bc he tries to make you hate him on purpose in order to unite his students by giving them a "common enemy." His class is a lot of work, but you come away with a lot of interesting life lessons. I liked how he used sports and everyday life as a link to management and encouraged us to be creative in our essays.

Professor Stern is tough. He sets the tone the very first day, you will know from the get go what to expect. His teaching skill is outgoing, lively, a little egotistical, and if you stick it out, this is the one class you will feel as though you learned something. He does not eat children as I was told. He actually is a nice guy. BUT TOUGH

I had professor Stern when I was in undergrad. He is tough on you, but what you learn in his class will stay with you. He is a great motivational speaker. What you learn in his class is relevant in the business world as well as in real life. Great professor, one of the best!

He's not that bad, be prepared to read. all of his test are on the books. Makes you pay money for being late.He is funny and most of his classes are exciting and fun. He marks your own opinions wrong on test. He picks on the same kids everyday. But if you read the books you will be fine. He uses sports as examples which makes it interesting.

Highly recommend. He is a great professor. Which is rare to find on CSI. He may seem like a tough professor who just wants to fail you- but in reality he is just making an effort to get his point across. LISTEN to what he has to teach, LEARN from the tools he gives you and you will walk out at the end of the semester feeling accomplished.

He comes off real nasty, i wanted to drop his class for the 1st 3 weeks, but i'm so grateful i stayed. He teaches you how to deal and handle adversity,how to come out of your shell and to think in a way you never knew that you could. Whoever has anything bad to say about him is the one with the problem. he is the best professor in this whole school, teaches you about yourself and the reality of the business world. if you go to class participate this class is great. i wish there was more professors like him.

I can tell everyone this, you will learn, SO much with this brilliant man it just beats the system. Stern's classes aren't easy, they are challenging, reading is required to complete this approach. Lots of project and reading but I loved the class and found it inspiring.

Professor Stern is ok. I took his corporate communication class and it was a little more challenging than the other undergraduate courses I took before but I grew a lot from it.

Simply. If you want to improve as a person and better your life you will take Stern. He is profound. Sure his class is hard, get over it and do work; actually use your brain and think. Dont Be Scared of doing work TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Clarity is power. Questions maintain focus. A problem is what is between your current results and your desired results. These are some of the things you will learn in this class. This is the hardest class I have ever taken and I almost dropped it. If you take this class, do the work and reading, and not the "usual" as other classes. Good luck.
