AWESOME teacher makes all the test and quizzes you take based on your practice test and quizzes you can get up to 10 extra credit towards your test and quizzes if you do the homework very nice teacher and young as well i recommend him for prep1 and 2 teacher is great i promise you will not regret him.

I don't know what is with him, but he gets to you somehow, is like he knows exactly what you need to learn. This professor is epic. He teaches you everything you need to know, hardly uses the textbook, shows you your grades, and gives you a week or more to finish homework. He does go a little fast though, but just raise your hand if you missed something.

I first took George Theordores class (MAT0018) in the fall of 2010. I took him again for Prep 2 math in the spring of 2011. I just finished taking his Intermediate Algebra class in the spring of 2013. He is an excellent teacher in all ways!!! I can't imagine going through all of these classes without him as my teacher!!! :) TRULY THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

I would def take again!!! tests are easy as long as you study! he gives notes and example questions that will be literally similiar to the ones on the test! so as long as you study you will do great. He is a great professor. He explains the material very well, he answers any questions you might have even when taking a test, he tries to be helpful. He is funny at times. He tries to make it early to class just in case any of his students have any questions or if they would like to go over some material before a test. The tests are fairly simple and easy. He is highly intellectual and attractive.

I took his class because i had to take a lab with my math. He does not teach in the lab class unless he is going over something that we ask him to do, but you are required to show up because its a part of his grading criteria. He will show you short cuts on how to do a problem that the math teacher would not have done. which makes it easier for you

Professor Theodores is amazing. Goes at a steady pace and answers any questions. Works through problems with you and gives examples of what is on the test. Show up and do your homework and you are sure to pass. The Mathlab homework is much harder than his tests but is great preparation. Textbook isn't needed but the access code is a must.

Hes super laid back. He teaches at a really good pace and as someone who doesnt excel in math, it was nice that he took his time explaining concepts. He was always more than happy to stay after class or repeat a problem just to help you. Also he gives test reviews which really helped me study, and tells whats on the test.

Professor Theodores is amazing, he really teaches his lessons in a comprehensive way to all and he would also find alternate ways to explain it if he sees a student is struggling with something. He even gives us shortcuts that we werent aware of and makes everything easier. I don't know how he is still an adjunct, administration should upgrade him.

The textbook was not used only the access code. Homework is done online. There are no quizzes just 5 tests and the final. He explains things as if you never learned it before and he shows different methods on how to solve a problem. I took him on Fridays from 8-11:45 he doesn't lecture the entire time. He gives breaks where you can leave class.

Extremely professional, usually keeps the class entertained, however he will use most if not all of the class's time (he does not waste time). Difficulty is "average" in my opinion, maybe inclining a bit towards hard (not his fault really, he's teaching a difficult subject and he knows it).

One of the best teachers at PBSC. I didn't have any math in over 7 years & he made the math simple again. Gives out practice tests & reviews everything before the test. Homework in MyMathLab is simple and you only need 70% to pass. Explains everything clearly & takes his time if there are any questions. Would take him in any Math class if possible.

Best professor I've taken in math. He is great at what he does, I have a very hard time with math and his teaching method is just wow. Everyone is different at learning but for me he helped me a lot in feeling confident about math. Breaks it all down, answers questions, makes sure everyone gets it if not you can ask. And the worksheets are tests.

I started taking professor Theodores after failing MAT1033 the first time and honestly taking him was the best decision Ive ever made. He explains the lessons thoroughly & will be available after class for questions. If you need to take intermediate or college algebra, I highly recommend to take him.

I only gave a 3 for difficulty because it is not an EASY A. obviously if you're not a math major, then you're like me and don't really care for math but need to take this class to get to college alg. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! If you struggle with math, especially this course, i highly recommend you take this guy, he is so understanding and genuinely wants everyone to pass. He will stay after to answer questions and he teaches so well! There is only 5 tests. A final worth 2 tests grades, split that in half and replaces 1 lowest test score. Easy HW.

There was no option for MGF 1106 for liberal arts math but that is what I took. He is an awesome prof. one of the best they have at palm beach state. I would for sure take him again if I could but he doesn't teach statistics. He gives a good amount of extra credit every test. I highly recommend him for all math classes possible.

GREAT PROFESSOR! takes the time to make sure you understand the material and will let you know exactly what is on the test so you dont waste time studying material thats not needed. Gives a few extra credit points on each test which is also a plus!

Honestly, I took him for intermediate algebra and college algebra, It was things I had already known, but It was very easy and he does go a bit fast on his lectures, but I definitely recommend him. I love his class and I had took him from 6:30-9:15 and it went pretty fast since we are learning the whole time. There were also take him quizzes.

His lectures are on MML where he explains step by step how to work out the math problems. Highly recommend him and his lecture style.

TAKE HIM and you will achieve your math credits. He has a numbers brain and can explain math problems so you understand fully. Lots of math shortcuts taking the stress out of working out problems that make no sense in the beginning. His zoom lectures are straight to the point. His worksheets are excellent for the help you need.

You can complete all the hw assignments within the trial period because he doesn't overload you with material. Class has 5 tests, 5 chapters, and 5 hw sections with ample time to complete everything. The professor is very calm and his lectures are straight to the point. He helps students with MML by showing them how to work out the problems. He is no easy A as others have said, but if you do your homework and ALL your written chapter tests he assigns you will pass with no problem. You can see how quickly all his classes fill up. PBSC

You MUST respond to his emails for attendance, complete all the handwritten assignments and at least 70% of the MML. Work is very hard, but his lectures are straightforward. recorded and loaded up on Bb for students to replay when trying to understand the concept. He is by far one of PbSC's best professors and an excellent teacher.

This professor is very good at simplifying difficult concepts. You can choose to log into the zoom session or watch the lecture in your own time. It makes it easier because you can decide what fits into your schedule. Very grateful that tests are on paper and not online! He is a helpful professor who genuinely wants students to succeed!

In his MAT1033C class attendance isn't mandatory, but if you need help he will be there. He's really good at making harder concepts simple. All of his lectures are recorded and posted so you can go back and watch if needed. Very easy to do well as long as you watch the recordings. He really is great, if you can take him, do it.

it is a lot of "work", but that ties into the textbook. no book is required technically but everything is on mathlab. i learned a lot. no attendance required. always there for you. fair grader. explains everything perfectly. which he could teach everything. very understanding of real life.

This teacher was great. 5 tests only! The final is optional. Only 5 hw assignments that were on mymathlab and you ONLY had to get a 75% for full credit. He provides a worksheet with all material for that chapter and goes over each problem in class. He tells you exactly what's on the test from that worksheet. He's very helpful and great at teaching!

Theodores is amazing! The quizzes are almost exactly like the reviews and he lets you know which questions will be on the test. The hwk is due on the day of the quiz (Pearson). You get full credit on hwk for 75%. He explains everything VERY well, there's almost 0 way you can fail his class.

This class was great! Professor explains things in an easy manner and his homework assignments/reviews are EXACTLY like the tests. Did not need a textbook just MyMathLab, but be sure to STUDY! The work isn't too bad I would say, but definitely needs reviewing to get the concepts down. EC on tests and overall great Algebra class I would recommend.

Even though this was a live online class, it was basically just an online class. We only used zoom the first day of class. Final exam is optional. You use MyMathLab for homework. You have to print the Quiz and Essay answer sheet, then upload those with your answers to his email. 4 units- so 4 homework, 4 quiz, and 4 test grades. Deadline heavy.

Great Professor! All the lessons are prerecorded so you can go back and watch them whenever most convenient for you. Make sure you put in the work and watch the lessons the whole way through. All the homework is done on MathLab and the 4 tests are sent through email (final is optional). Extra credit is in the form of 1 or 2 questions on the tests.

I took this professor for three different classes. All my life I have failed math over and over but not with Professor Theodores. Something about the way he explains the material just finally made sense to me. He is the best Professor I have had At PBSC and would take him for every class if I could. Professor Theodores is amazing! Attendance is optional, however he is always available to help you, and even encourages you to sign into his other classes. His class gave me so much confidence, and now, I kinda of like math. His lectures are so easy to follow, I watched the lectures and did homework at the same time. I would highly recommned him!!!

If youre very behind on math and bad at it, i dont recommend. Hes an amazing guy, and super smart and respectful but i did well at the beginning of the year and struggled a lot towards the end. Theres a lot of homework and tests but its fairly easy if youre good at math or retain info easily. Im just very behind on math so i struggled a lot.

This professor is a gem. He has one goal - to help you pass this math class needed for graduation. He posts lecture videos for each section, and explains the material so it's super easy. He also posts videos showing how to solve every question on the assignments. Unlimited attempts for assignments, and 3 attempts for tests. Highly recommended!!

He's amazing; I'm taking another class with him because I like his teaching style. His class is super interesting; he will explain things more than once so everyone can understand. In some tests, you are allowed to have notes, which Is great, and even if you are not allowed to, he will put some stuff on the board.

Mymathlab needed. Attendance was not necessary for live online classes. Very easy to access if you have a question. He doesn't 'teach,' though. Only answers questions- Don't take him if you struggled in other math classes and need another math class after this. His recordings of the HW help tremendously. Take him! If you're looking to do your work self-paced with no pressure, take his course. Just make sure the weeks that you have to do your assignments that they're completed on time. We only did five chapters. He's not big on attendance, but he's there if you need him.

I'm retaking him! Self-paced class, all tests on MyMathLab, and he didn't have an access code, so you need to buy that separately. No live meetings unless you want to; he took attendance on 1st day. Don't slack because he generously gives us one extra day to complete everything! No lockdown browser, everything on MyMathLab!

Most amazing math professor

The classes are very clear, everything is explained in detail. If you're not very good at math, it doesn't matter because everything is explained very well. Attendance is not mandatory. There are only four exams and an optional final exam. I recommend it 100%.
