I took his online class and although I feel he is a good teacher, there are quaestions on his tests that are incorrect and some that are not discussed in the book he has chosen. Be ready to memorize the book.

One of the best teachers at GPC and I will advise everyone to take him. I am not sure what is wrong with the earlier student who says he did not like him, the ststement is not true.

Piece of cake. Lot of reading, and some of the test/quiz questions are tricky, But an Easy A since you've got the book and Google right there. Everything was online, make a post about each chapter. Not a lot to it. TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. There is no reason to go to an actual class for it.

Mr. Vargis is a very good teacher and I highly recommend him for this course. As long as you print out his chapter summaries and study guides you are sure to pass. He is precise and to the point, all the while making the class informative and fun.

Gives you tests from 2 chapters at a time with 5 questions with no guidance in studying. (He takes most of his questions from the summarys-hint, hint).

Great online Public Admin course. The course is tough but Mr. Vargis has made the online course pretty simple and easy to navigate. The tests and quizzes are simple and straightforward.

I took Mr. Vargis' class online, and it was not a slack class. The test questions are somewhat hard and he requires lengthy discussions. His tests and quizzes are only available for 24 hours, which I found highly inconvenient. He offers no study guides for tests / quizzes. However, he was responsive to emails and helpful for questions.

Great teacher, good to take. please study for the quizzes and you will do good o.k. I learned alot about government and really enjoyed his class. he will get mad if you don't attend class.

I took his online class and it was VERY HARD!!! He only gives you 9 mintues for quizzes! Thats NOT enough time! His tests are very hard and he doesn't give study guides! He doesn't give extra credit or let you retake any test/quiz! He is nice, but his online class is hard! He expects way too much!

I did not like this online class.there were discussions but no feed back on what you wrote.there was very little interaction with the class. He is very good about responding to your questions though. I took this class online and it was a hard class to keep up with. It required a lot of in-depth reading, meaning you had to read the material more than once. He tested you on 5 chapters at a time and didnt give adequate time to finish. When you tried to find answers in the book, they were so far buried you couldnt find them. I barely got a C.

Had him for online class, good teacher, I got a good grade, but not a class to slack off or pass easy breezy you HAVE to read the chapter and notes and you'll be good. However he gives lots of material to do good.

Great teacher. As long as u complete discussions, quizzes, and exams and read you should make an A. The only exceptional thing is the time to take the quizzes are ridiculous (answer 6 questions in 9 min.). I made a D in his online class this summer due to missing assign. and not enough time to complete quizzes.

Mr. Vargis is a good professor, has a good online class. We have to read but I am not sure why others commented about 9 mins to take 6 quizzes. He should give only 6 minutes to take 6 questions. In my face-to-face class we get only 5 minutes to answer 6 questions.

Mr. Vargis is a great teacher. Class requires a lot of reading and u must pay attention in class. He gives ample opportunity for extra credit. Posts study guides and reviews prior to tests. Chapter summaries are also posted. Does everything he can to help you pass this class, up to you to study and take all quizzes and tests. Loved this class!

I took Mr. Vargis Fall of 2010 & so far hes the best teacher I've ever had! Seriously, he's funny, relatable, and although he has an accent he speaks clear. I would highly recommend any student that needs to take political science to take Mr. V.He makes politics fun and intersting..All you have to do is study(Given) BEST TEACHER EVER, I PROMISE :)

Prof. Vargis class is so easy-going! He's hilarious and makes class so enjoyable. Not sure if every class is different, but he customized his lessons according to our feedback. Pop quizzes and tests are generally vocabulary based. He provided study guides which were also very helpful.
