Great teacher I took his math 200 and 230 class. He never makes you feel like you are asking a stupid question (even if deep down you know it is) and if he sees that you are trying he seems to make an effort to meet you half way. I only wish he taught trig

Online math has been a big help to me. I often study late at night or early in the morning. Using the DVDs is wonderful, since I can stop and start, or watch again when I don't get something. Woodbury makes it very easy to understand and is often available in his office, on the phone or online for any help. Great Teacher! Interesting Class.

Mr. Woodbury is by far the best teacher I've had at COS! I didn't like math at all before this class, but Mr. Woodbury made math fun & very easy to understand. This teacher is so patient & truly wants his students to pass with a good grade! CRASH the class if you have to! It will be worth it at the end. I got an A & usually I'm a "C" student.

Mr. Woodbury is a dream when it comes to math. I've had him for, Math 360, 200, 230, & I'll have him for math 21. Amazing teacher, I took his class online which can be intimidating for some but I actually found it to be that much better, he has great videos you can watch and rewind as many times as needed and he also found time to throw in a few jokes making you feel like youre right in the class room ;) I highly recommend him!!

Mr. Woodbury is awesome! I really struggle with math, and I got my first ever A in a math class! You get to use MyStatLab for the majority of the class & on the final, which makes a HUGE difference! He's great because he breaks everything down into steps, which really helped me. Also, his voice is relaxing! Haha it is easy to listen to him lecture.

This class was difficult. He has the oddest grading system. In order to get full credit on a test you must pass all homework and quiz's online with A's. If you don't you get 0 points. It's more confusing then necessary. He moves kind of fast. If your not interested in math and just need it to move on, I wouldn't recommend him.

Woodbury structures his grading system to help students who are responsible in doing homework and trying to learn material. If you show effort but do badly on tests he offers extra credit opportunities. If you are diligent about his class you will end up with the grade you want, there's no way you can fail. He's an amazing teacher!

He is the best math teacher no doubt! He explains everything really well. I wish i could have him for math 230 but he isn't teaching it next semester. I really recommend students to get him. If you struggle and hate math you will not struggle and you will love math. Once i was done with my final I was sad because i love math so much more now.

I am terrible in math but with paying close attention, taking notes and doing all the mymathlab (practically daily) I got a B. It was a very difficult class but that because I have been out of practice for a very long time. He will help you any way he can. He is funny and cares about his students. Best math professor I have taken. He makes math seem like such a walk in the park. He explains in detail every step and explains it until you get it. His grading is very precise but with his teaching skills test taking is a breeze. Of course you have to be in class to grasp the concept, just like any other class, but I highly recommend him.

i suck at math big time but he is one of the best teachers at cos take him if u wanna pass his grading is weird at first but eventually get it and if u do all hw your test grade skips one letter grade ex B's turn into A's TAKE HIM

I recommend Professor Woodbury to anyone! He teaches the unteachable. Ive been out of school for a while and was very rusty when it comes to numbers but he makes it so easy to learn the material. I mean who better to teach you then the author of the text book right? Will definitely be taking him again for Math 230 and Stats!

Mr. Woodbury was an amazing Stats teacher! I loved that it was my first class of the day, and that if you didnt finish an assignment he had no problem opening it up on Mathlab so you could finish it. Dont miss project days, those can start to build up and your grade will show it.

One of the best math instructors I've ever had. The homework is totally doable, and he gives you plenty of prep materials. No work is done by hand! You use statcrunch which makes it so much quicker. Only 2 tests over the summer session, and they are very similar to the practice midterms he gives you. 4 easy projects. Nice professor!

Woodbury has to be one of the greatest math professors Ive taken. The review are all true he's a awesome dude!! Statcrunch is the program thats used in Stats which is pretty simple to use. Very accessible and wants you to get what is going on in class. Some days he has group projects but nothing too bad. HES THE GOAT!

Possibly one of the greatest professors Ive had! His class is very simple and you are guaranteed to get an A if you do ALL the work. He has no quizzes and the only tests you take is the midterm and final! He explains everything so well and tries to help everyone understand the material.

He made stats so easy. All you do is assignments on mymathlab and it really is not too much homework. You kind of learn on your own by doing the assignments due before class but it shows you step by step. He is also very understanding. Super easy class and i would definitely recommend!

Mr. Woodbury is an excellent teacher. I took stats online and felt like I was attending an actual in person class. The course was super organized and the workload was realistic so that I never felt as if I was just doing repetitive problems or busy work. The grading is very fair. Highly recommend.

He is AMAZING! I took his summer online class. First 2 weeks are really busy so try to do modules early. Gets much easier after midterm. Most well organized class I've ever taken. Emails sent out every day to guide you. Gets back to you within a few hrs if you have hw question. Testing: part takehome final, part inperson (very similar to takehome).

Professor Woodbury is great. Took his online stats class. He answered all my emails in a timely manner. I'm not good with math to begin with but as long as you do the homework and assignments you're good. A lot of homework imo and it takes time plus you have chapter projects along with them. The practice tests he gives you are helpful.

Mr Woodbury is a very caring teacher especially in times of quarantine because he understands times are tougher. Do the work and youll pass.

He's very understanding and teaches very well. While there is online homework and worksheets, learning how to do them can be easy if you watch his examples on whatever concept it is. He has plenty of recourses to help you and also does zoom calls that cover what you'll be doing for the week and if you need any help or questions. Great teacher!

Helpful understanding teacher who wants all students to succeed. Gives important feedback, lots of useful youtube video resources, great study guides. Weekly canvas assignment is helpful to succeed in class. MyMathLab required, book is not. Midterm and Final are able to be successfully passed if all worksheets completed.

I took Math005 online and I was so stressed. However Mr. Woodbury made this class so easy with his lecture videos. If I had to take another math class I would definitely take it with him! He gives you everything you need to pass his class you just have to put in the work!

Mr. Woodbury is the most effective math teacher that I've ever had. His process when teaching made what seemed to be very difficult, not so much. If you pay attention to the lectures and follow his direction, you will have a great chance of success in this class.

I remember taking Woodbury back in 2017 when I didn't like school. I missed so many classes and in the end I realized I wasn't going to pass and he helped me pass the class with a c and I was super grateful for that. One of the most caring proffesors I've ever had. I am a current student right now and have never really been great at math. Though this class has been the best math class I have ever taken. He provides a lot of help and does not make you feel dumb. There are some notes but he goes over them every class and have every step needed for the given problem.

Took math 11 with this professor during fall 2024 (online) and I really enjoyed the class. Great online lecture, and everything well explain. Pretty easy course even if you're not good in math. I totally recommend this class even if you do not like "online" courses. Just make sure to do all the homework in the beginning of the week :)

AMAZING professor i was scared by the thought of statistics but he is honestly made math so clear and easy to understand. He gives good additional feedback and additional help with videos with guidance to your assignments. 100% percent recommend.
