He really makes you understand the subject and doesn't make night class a snooze. Very worth taking and never contimplate dropping, just stick it out--you'll do FINE! He's a funny guy, doesn't count attendance, but you should be in class anyway because he gives out mini group quiz things every week (it's a night class), he explains everything really well, you just gotta put in the effort!

he goes through many examples which may be hard to understand. take notes and go to him before class to ask questions. quiz each week as a night class, but class goes by very fast, so dont fall behind. show that you are understanding and he'll notice. very good prof.

He is a great teacher who teaches only what you need to know. If you need help go to his office hours and ask he's more than willing to help you out. Plus, he tells these really lame jokes in class that make it more interesting. Would definitely recommend his class since its too the point and fun sometimes. Those who hate him don't try in his class

His stats class was so easy, I got an A+ without trying too hard. Basically as long as you pay attention you'll get an A, he goes over everything really clearly. Homework is optional, easy 10 point quiz each week + midterm + final. Plus he let us out an hour early every week, so if you have to take a night class this is the one to take.

Zazi is awesome. Funny little Greek dude. Weekly quizes are easy as long as you do the homework. His midterm and finals were very short which i'm not used to in calc classes, but once again very easy as long as you do the homework.

Take the notes, use the formula sheet you are allowed to have, and know how to do things on your calculator. If you do that the quizes won't be bad, and a the night class gets out early. Take him! He makes stats simple.

This guy makes class fun! I would recommend being attentive in class because that way you won't have to study too hard. Make sure you know how to do the things in the calculator.

Great teacher, easy class. Weekly quizes that are easy, mid term and final only take about 30 min to finish and class gets out early every time. Do the homework so you understand the quiz.

You need to attend every class since there's a quiz every week on the prior homework. Definitely a great teacher and really knows his material, was more than helpful to meet with me outside of class. I had a C- in another MAT 135, Professor Zazi is so good that I got an A- in this class

Just do the homework and u will do good on the Quiz's. U have to go to class all the time because he gives quiz's at the end of the class.

Very nice guy, but by no means is the class easy. As long as you put in a lot of outside class time to study, and keep up you will do just fine. You will be expected to know the material before showing up to class, which is a downside so you have to study outside of class and teach yourself.

Great professor! He is very clear and approachable. Great with answering questions. For this class, our grade was made up of only the weekly quizzes, the mid-term and final. He always lets his night classes out an hour or more early. Nice man, and he teaches at a great pace. Take notes, listen, and come to class. you should be fine.

Professor Zazi is a GREAT professor. He brings the difficult subject matter to students level so that its easy to understand. This was the first B I ever earned in a math class. Sometimes you have to stop him to understand whats going on, but the bottom line is he teaches..you learn end of story. WATCH for the final though, its tough!!

I could slap myself for not taking Zazi for 136 this quarter. He was SUCH a great teacher, his class is literally calc for dummies. Make sure you do the hw because the same problems show up on weekly quizes and exams--which are SO EASY if you do hw. He only teaches you what u need to know for tests, which i LOVED. DEF taking him for Stats SP Qr.

Zazi is great and funny. I took a night class w/ him & he always lets us leave an hour early which is nice. Weekly hw, only a few problems, very easy. Weekly quizzes which come directly from hw & drops the lowest grade. Midterm was easy & multiple choice. Final not cummulative since we did good on midterm.

All I have to say is take this professor. He is by far the sweetest guy and such a great teacher. I was hesitant to post on here until I was for sure signed up in his 137 class because I wanted to make sure I got my spot! I have had him for 135, 136, and 137. He makes calc fun, class is always let out very early, JUST TAKE HIM. YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Good teacher and all of his classes are very easy. I took him for MAT 135,136, and 137. He's a nice guy and is funny at times. He gives out a weekly quiz with about 5 questions and that is worth 40% of the grade. Midterm and Final are worth 30%. Concentrate on doing well on the quizzes very simple.

DO your homework that he assigns, this is the BEST and only advice I can give you. Calc. is not my strong suit, so I am not going to say it was easy, but if you take the time to do your homework and actually do it you will do fine. Very similar problems from the homework are on the quizzes. Again if you want to do well in his class do YOUR HW.

The only people who didn't do well in my class were the dumb asses who never did HW, listened in class, and then complained about the teacher. HW problems appear on the quiz. Both HW & quiz problems are on final and midterm. TAKE ZAZI! Just don't expect staying awake in class to get you an A, you need to DO HW AND STUDY! + he is HILARIOUS.

For once I actually enjoyed a math based class. It wasn't easy but he explains really well and works through problems on the board. He has a good sense of humor and appreciates interaction. Wish he had taught 137

Zazi = the BEST! He's funny too! Never enjoyed math so much! Buy mymathlab. No book. Multiple choice test, so if u don't know something u can use the answers and work backwards. He's not picky either. Exapmle:I answered .014 instead of 1.4% & he gave me 1/2 credit after I spoke with him. He really wants you to pass. Just make sure u go to class!

OMG! Prof. Zazi rocks!!! If math is not your strength you must take him! He is a first teacher who makes a difficult class easy and breezy. You must work though to achieve a grade you want, but it is an easy A if you are not afraid to spend couple of hours outside the school and practice! No surprises on midterm and final. This prof was a pretty good. i was kind of nervous of taking math cause i've had bad luck with other teachers but he really did break it down and make it easy. there's quizes everyweek on the hw due the week before so it's convinient. not to mention you get out early :D wish i could take 136/137 too

Great teacher. He thoroughly explained each and every problem in class which made the HW and Quizzes easy. The HW is online with mylabsplus. There is a quiz every week. Mid-term and final is multiple choice and some quizzes are too. You would have to be really lazy to not get a B n this class at the least. I would totally recommend to anyone.

Zazi is a Great teacher, He made a difficult subject more interesting and receptive. There are quizzes, don't worry if you come to class you will be fine. His accent is a little difficult to understand at times but he does a great job making sure the whole class is on the same page.

Please disregard bad reviews of him, trust me. I'm also one of those students who are not math gifted, and Zazi made it easy to understand and even fun! Attendance does not count for a grade but you NEED to attend since every lecture teaches you about everything you need to know for the tests, and there is always a small (easy quiz).

Best decision, take him. He drops the lowest quiz and re-extends homework on mymathlab before the final and midterm. Exams are multiple choice. I got a D on the midterm and a C on the final, A on every weekly quiz, I still came out with a B as a final grade. How is that even possible? He always ended night class an hour early. Don't need the book.

Take his class. Show up every week, you'll excel. Take notes. The lowest homework and quiz grades dropped. He's funny. If you don't get it, the homework teaches you what you need to know. Not a hard or strenuous class! You don't need the textbook either! Just the online code!

Quiz at the end of every class but you always get out early. Refueled my love for math and made this a very easy class. The midterm and final was 20-25 questions multiple choice. Take him before his class fills up! You can survive a night class with him trust me.

He is a pretty easy professor, but I hate that he gives out multiple choice tests and quizzes. The midterm and final was 20 multiple choice questions. If you get one question wrong then 5 points cut off. I wish he allowed to show our work in the tests to get partial points. Other than that he is a solid choice. A 75 is a B- in his class.

This is 100% the best math professor you can have. I went from being completely lost in 135 to acing every quiz getting a 100 on the midterm. Night class we get let out an hour early, the homework helps you for the quizzes, the quizzes help you for the exams. Class is set up great and he teaches the subject to make it easy to understand. Very easy class if you actually study the work he gives you. You should not get lower than a B in the course.

He is very clear and specific in his lectures. One thing is that he writes his lecture stuff in cursive on the board. I did the 3 hour night class, and he usually lets out early, but no break and a quiz every class period. He is a funny guy, but that kind of encourages some of the students to not take it seriously and ruin it for the rest of us.

By far the best calculus teacher EVER! He is clear, direct, and funny. His teaching is very straightforward. He does not only teach from the textbook, he is also throws his own flavor to the lecture. ZAZI GOAT - GREATEST. OF. ALL. TIME. Class consists of online homework worth 10% (drops lowest grade), Daily Quizzes worth 30%(drops lowest one), MIdterm 30% and final worth 30% . Zazi is a respectable guy who will do anything to make sure you are learning the material. If youre scared of taking Calc but need to pass? CHOOSE ZAZI.

If you struggle with Calculus, take Zazi. The homework is very manageable and the quizzes (5 multiple choice questions for a total of 10 points) are easy if you did the HW and/or paid attention in class.

Overall good proffesor. Theres a quiz each week on topic from previous week. Each quiz is 3-6 multiple choice questions and isnt that hard. Midterm & Final are harder then quizzes but nothing crazy. Lectures a lot so takr detailed notes. Would take again.

You have to earn his respect by showing up, taking notes, and working for your grade, and even if you fail the midterm or final you'll pass with a B. Study for the weekly quizzes, midterm and final! I have always sucked at math, but Prof. Zazi makes sure that people UNDERSTAND the material. First time having an A in math since 7th grade. Very humorous and cares about students. Don't use your phone and pay attention! EASY quizzes and gives study guides that are exactly like the midterm and final.

Zazi is an awesome teacher. I took Calc 1 two years ago, and forgot basically everything. I took his Calc 2 class and it wasn't difficult at all. He gives you formulas when necessary on the quizzes. He provides study guides that are exactly like the test. I definitely recommend! (Didn't use the book but it is required to buy mylabsplus)

THE BEST prof at DePaul! Absolutely love him! Took him for MAT 135, 136 & 137. His lectures are straight forward & easy to understand if you pay attention & take notes. He will give you practice problems for the midterm and final, easy A if you do them - they are identical to the actual exams. Always looked forward to his class & his jokes!

I had Professor Zazi for MAT 136 and 137 and he's amongst the best at DePaul. He's hilarious, but can be a stickler at times if students talk over him/are on their phones. Make sure you attend class and take good notes because he literally covers everything on the quizzes. It's certainly possible to get an A, but I bombed the final and got a B.

Pretty easy class if you show up and take good notes that will help you do the homework. The homework code comes with the textbook. He gives you study guides for quizzes that are almost exactly like the quiz. The final was easy and multiple choice while the midterm required you to study the homework more in depth. Overall, great guy!

Really good professor. Took him over the summer, and was only graded on midterm final and homework. Final was multiple choice and a lot easier than the midterm. He has a good sense of humor and always let us out early. would take again.

What a funny little guy. The material was difficult for me, so I had to try a little harder for this class. However his quizzes, midterm, final all looked very similar to the homework so as long as you know how to solve it using the calculator you'll be fine! He makes a lot of funny side comments that made my class bearable.

Zazi is a great professor who basically teaches you everything you need to know in the easiest way. In other words, he doesn't sugar coat things. Just tells you how to put it in the calculator and that's it. Pretty easy A, nice guy.

Best math professor I have ever take, I am not a math type of person but he not tough & only assigned things that were straight from his lecture, NOTHING that he did not go through. Slides get boring and I liked that he was old school and wrote everything on paper and showed it though his camera it made me feel like we were in class
