She is great ... she knows the stuff actually she worked on that for quite a long time. You can see she love teaching which she is very good at. The class is not easy but if you study you'll get an A and most important you'll be prepare for the next CHM!

The best chemistry teacher ever. I took Dr hart for CHM2210 and CHM2211. She is not easy, but I can asure you will learn chemistry. She loves her profession and threfore she wants you to learn it. She is very clear, but you really need to study a lot, otherwise you won´t pass.

She's the first teacher I spoke with at MDC. Helpful, understanding, fair testing, not easy but not too difficult either, likes teaching and does it very well, has a good sense of humor, respects students... ok, just be sure that she is THE teacher for any science class you need, if she teaches it. A+ i everything for her!

She started using a new book, and I dont understand why pervious people say she is hard? Test 1 and 5(final) are from the test bank all multiple choice, test 2,3,&4 are mult choice plus a few work out problems. It's organic chem people...it's going to be challenging! She is definetly fair and she's a great teacher!

She is a good professor. Cares a lot about students. The only thing is that she goes fast but everything will be ok once you get used to her. If you haven't taken CHM before take CHM1025 and then take 1045, so you are not lost with the content. Otherwise it is not that difficult. No multiple choice, all workout exams. Good Luck!

This professor is amazing, I took CHM1045 w/A. Pappas and got a D, he was a ****, Prof. Hart is a wonderful person in class and outside class. Her test are exactly the way she said they will be, If you do the problems in the module book and do exaclty what she says to do you'll pass her class. this class is not difficult, but she can make it difficult. She explains the concepts very well, but if you dont read before class you will be completely lost. She goes quickly and does only one problem of each. she helps you after class with questions.

This is a very competent teacher. I love her teaching style, you will definitely learn chemistry well. Her exams are harder then most in MDC but it's more because of the subject material; not her. If you study appropriately for the class, which she tells you on the first day, you will do quite well.

Took 2210 with her as well. All 5 tests are work-out problems. No multiple choice like 2210. It seemed easier then 2210. She teaches based on the hardcover book, but her tests are nothing like it. She is very tricky on the tests so watch out for that. Very nice, outgoing, smart, funny teacher. Study hard and form study groups outside of class!

Organic is no joke, so don't cram. Dr. Hart is so enthusiastic about teaching and will make you love or hate Organic. Do problems until your hands fall off and you'll be fine. She is SUPER funny, motivating and also explains clearly. You should not take Organic with anyone else if you truly want to learn it well. Challenging & good thinking class.

She is very nice and will keep you awake, but she teaches way to fast, and her exams are really hard, I think she asks for to much out of her students, A lot of us have jobs, kids, and a GPA to maintain.

Her test are unfair, they have nothingt to do with the problems in the textbook. I would study for weeks n when I got the test I was lost. She is nice and funny, but the test are close to impossible.

No matter what comments you read she IS A GOOD TEACHER. She actually explains and doesnt assume you know! She makes it click in your head. Took chm1025 before and had to drop it but was getting A'S with her. She is very straight forward, strong personality but I could care less what I care is that I pass and I did. To start off most of her students are pre med majors and should not cry about a class being hard. You have no idea what your getting yourself into if this class is too hard for you. This is very hard but she tries to make it as easy as possible. There are extra credits on all tests and the final replacest your lowest grade. She curves the range for the grades, so with an 86 u get an A and with a 76 u get a B. Take her if you want clear and funny lectures.

She is a great teacher but she gives one of the hardest tests I have ever encountered. She makes my physics test look like a walk in the park. Memorize the book and notes if you can. Otherwise I recommend Ignacio Rodon for this class, he gives reviews and actually cares if students pass.

This was a very difficult course and required alot of studying. Hart made chemistry more easier to understand and you could tell she loves what she teaching. I do suggest you buy the book and do much problems as possible. Her four exams are very diffcult and tricky. Plus is she does curve.

She's funny, she makes lot of jokes during class, she teaches well the material..BUT! her tests are very tricky and HARD, you have to study like hell to pass this class, only 4 Tests(5 including the Final)which cover the first 12 Chapters from the book. If you're a slacker, don't take her, she's a hard grader too.

Prof Hart is a GREAT teacher. CHEM is a hard course, so you NEED to study. Her tests are hard, but if you study you'll do fine. The Final is much easier than her tests. Redo examples from the book, it helps. Google Whitten Practice Tests and use the tests from previous years to practice. If you need help, ask her during her office hours.

Hart is a great teacher I had her for Organic chemistry, she will go over everything in class. But this class requires that you study a lot!! Its orgo, its a hard topic but she makes it fun and if you really want to learn something I suggest you take her. Remember no matter who you take orgo is difficult.

Shes an amazing teacher who loves to teach and is extremely helpful. Downside is shes extremely difficult-and sarcastic- i had an auditorium filled with over a 100 students when we started and ended with less than 40 and most did not pass. Her test are tough but you'll get a good grade if you study & practice the exercises. Get ready to read chemistry EVERYDAY, slack a little & you're lost.

Hart is an amazing professor. She makes the material in class extremely easy to understand. She does move fairly quickly so make sure to not fall behind because otherwise you will be lost later. For the purposes of chm1025, I personally did not have to read the book to get an A, but I do highly recommend you do the problems she assigns to practice.

Overall chemistry is a tough subject, you cant wait til the last minute to study. Professor Hart has a nice sense of humor and great way of teaching but if you dont study or pay attention then theres no way in passing, her tests are tough and she expects you to know the material!! I felt as if she did not give many practice problems

The best chemistry professor you'll ever take. I like her since she doesn't use powerpoint, and writes every single thing on the board step by step. She's also hilarious and her tests are exactly like the problems we do in class. Some say her tests are hard, but it's not. Practice the problems done in class and the ones assigned over and over again

Talks way too fast during the lectures, it's hard to follow along. All she does is work problems out on the board but she doesn't go step by step and explain what shes doing. The tests are also extremely hard. She'll give you 25 word questions and you'll only have 50 minutes to complete them. She'll give you the hardest problems on the the test too

She is hands down the best professor I have had in Mdc, she even inspires me to do better. Of course you have to work hard and the test are not easy. But she is worth it.

Honestly she's the greatest professor you'll ever have. shes hilarious and you can tell she loves chemistry because she has a great way of teaching it.

I love this professor. I had her for 1045 lecture and lab too. She's the reason I'm so good in chemistry. She's hilarious and her lectures are awesome! Tells you exactly what to study for the exams, and she writes out every single thing on the board. You actually get to see all the calculations step by step since she doesn't use stupid power points

Shes an amazing teacher, really makes you comprehend the subject. Thank goodness for her lectures because if not I would be SO lost in chm1045. The only bad part about her is her tests were very difficult and she would not help, not even a little during the tests. ;(

professor hart made organic chemistry very simple to understand. She really tries to help students understand the material, whether it be with models, jokes, drawings, she tries anything to help students understand. I thank her a lot for the passion she shows while teaching the material. She's the best.

Dr. Georgina Hart is an amazing Organic Chemistry professor! However, her hand writing is by the far THE WORST! She is super enthusiastic about Organic Chemistry and therefore she speeds through the lecture. But if you keep up to date with your readings, her teaching method is great. 4 exams + EC, no online HW but and 87% and up is an A!

Dr. Hart is an AMAZING professor, even though chemistry is a hard subject, she makes it easy for you, but you do have to study for each test. She even tells you that if you sorta understand the subject, you are gonna sorta get a D. I got a C because i didnt study hard enough, but if you study, you are going to do well. She is also very Funny.

I took the CHM1045 Lab with her and she was so passionate about explaining things that everybody enjoyed the lab. She is a great person, funny but also knows how to teach very well. I strongly recommend taking her!

I am in Pharmacy school, third year, and I still remember Dr. Hart as the best professor I have ever had. I took her for 2 classes now and she is the best professor I've ever had. She is a GREAT teacher. I learned everything from her related to chemistry and I have A's in both the classes I took her for. I recommend her to everyone if they want to actually learn chemistry, though you have to work for your grade just like any other chem class. 87A

Very funny and tries to assure we understand the lecture and always offers help in her office. You need to study to pass. It is very helpful to do the practice exercises she assigns us. The only negative about her is her handwriting can be sometimes illegible to read. I do recommend to sit in the front. Great teacher overall.

I have nothing but gratitude towards her. After taking her for all my CHM classes from 1045 to 2211, she's by far my favorite prof at MDC. She will make you work really hard for your grade but that's because she truly cares about students learning the material. Lectures are clear. She's so helpful and patient. Take advantage of her office hours!

Ok, so here is what happens. This class is for the bravest. And she won't be nice to you. She will scream and scare you. If you fail she will make you think you deserved it and you will be believe her. Now, if you pass (because passing it's all that matters) something will happen inside you and you'll never be unprepared for any future exam again.

Dr. Hart is a tremendous professor, she loves what she does, I never showed up to class yet even then she was sympathetic and amicable. This is one of the hardest subjects you can take and to tell you the truth, she is literally the best possible situation that can come from such a horrid and complex class. Hard class, lots of material for exams & a ton of practice problems. The professor will tell you that problems from notes are on the departmental final however not word for word. Learn the material the first time around and heed her advice in rewriting notes, reading, and doing problems. I found youtube helpful for concepts I didn't understand.

Dr. Hart is the best chemistry professor any student will ever have. I highly reccomend students to take her class. She is very passionate about the subject and makes you as a student want to learn more, and love chemistry. The test are very fair. There's obviously lots to study, so get ready to learn! Shes honestly a great person and a great professor. She just isnt your average professor but if youre a quick learner then shes the best option for you. If you have trouble in CHM I suggest not to take her. She doesnt help you with your grade or give extra credit.

The best professor at Miami Dade, hands down. Shes not only incredibly smart and funny but she strips down the material making it more approachable. Chemistry is a VERY hard subject studying and attending class is a must but she is always available after class. I wish I had her for every chemistry. Take her you wont regret it

She is a great professor! She is super funny and her lectures are clear. Does not give extra credit and only grades test. She assigns exercises and tells you to rewrite your notes. Listen to her! Dr. Hart is the most inspirational professor I've ever taken. Her passion for chemistry (especially organic) will motivate you to learn and do better. It's true, theres no extra credit for HW, but if you READ and do the problems at the end of the chapters you will be well prepared. She is so caring and helpful! And yes, it's possible to get an A

Awesome teacher, tells you everything to the point and really wants you to succeed. Helps with anything but cant stand stupid and repetitive questions. Just pay attention and youll get an A. A 50-60 on each test gives you a B in the class if youve done all the lab reports so work enough youll end up with a good grade.

She is a really great professor. She lectures each class about the subject and the homework comes straight from the lecture. She lets you know how you did on each test and quiz the next class. Attendance is not mandatory, however, you'll fall behind if you miss a class. The final replaces the lowest test grade, so that is helpful. I recommend her.

Best chemistry professor I had. 10/10 would take again. She is a tough grader but she provides you will all the information you need to pass the tests and quizzes. Her lectures are easy to understand and she will answer any questions you have. Highly recommend taking Hart for your chemistry professor.

Best professor for chemistry. She is one of the few professors who actually knows how to teach the subject. She makes a hard class so easy. You do have to study though. Follow her instructions, rewrite your notes and do the practice problems from the book. By the way, she emails everyone a pdf of the book so you don't have to spend money.

She's a great lecturer but she doesn't really help prepare you for the tests. Her notes are deceiving in focusing on hard math questions but in the test you're thrown off by the simple/theory questions you did not review and she didn't mention. T3 was 29 in 50 min. DO NOT take CHM at MDC Kendall. Take at FIU. (3.8 GPA)

Get the book, read, repeat problem solving strategies that she teaches in class and don't cram! Don't take her if you have other time-consuming classes or if you need extra credit to pass a class. She will call you out for stupid questions but that makes you remember the right answers. Her lectures are amazing, entertaining and memorable.

Professor Hart is the best professor. If you have a chance to take a class with her, I recommend it. Now this class is not just about getting by with the notes. She recommends taking notes, rewriting notes, study guides and working out the problems at the end of each chapter to pass the tests. And shes not wrong, it helps a tremendous amount.

I graduated from pharmacy school and completed 1 year of pharmacy residency. I have gone through very challenging moments as a pharmacy student and as a resident, and I have had many different professors/preceptors who challenged me every single day. Professor Hart is a great and passionate professor of chemistry. Her lectures are guided with the history of chemistry which most professors don't use. Her class is hard so you will have to get ready to study and do a lot of practice. There are 5 tests, 4 exams and 1 final that replaces your lowest score.

She explains the topics very well. The only bad thing are the tests, which are really hard. For online the labs are fairly easy to do, but make sure to study a lot for the hard tests!

I had Ms. Hart and she is really good at providing you with the right tools to get a good grade; take notes, copy the examples she gives, and re-do/write them when you get home. Chemistry is HARD but as long as you take time to study what she gives you, practice and understand, you will get a good grade. Also, review your tests during office hrs.

The class is not easy and the material is not easy, regardless of that Mrs. Hart is genuinely a great teacher especially under COVID circumstances. She tries her absolute best to make you learn and her lecture videos were easily digestible and simple. You need to study above all else, but she tries her best to help no matter what.

She knows the material. Bright professor, and VERY straight forward. She sugar coats absolutely nothing. If you want to learn chemistry, take her. However, be warnedher exams are timed in a way that puts a lot of pressure on you. I had to withdraw from her class due to family matters, but shes an outstanding professor. Perfect for science!

I've taken Professor Hart for multiple classes at Dade (Chem 1, Orgo 1, Orgo 2) and I can tell you that she is an amazing teacher who cares about her students and teaches thoroughly. In person she is much easier to have. Online is very difficult because you have to go to class and watch separate lectures (very repetitive). Tests only, no homework.

Dont miss class, she gives a ton of info. She uses the book but its not required. She gives practice questions that are not due they are just for practice. If you take good notes rewrite them and do the practice questions youll do fine on the tests. Shes really good at explaining difficult concepts. Definitely take her, shes the best.

Professor Hart is a great professor to take for the 1045 Lab. The class policy and syllabus was crystal clear, and she was prompt in updating grades online, so you always knew where you stood grade-wise. She is also extremely approachable for any questions or concerns you might have and always gave clear explanations and answers.

Professor Hart truly is an amazing professor! She is extremely helpful. Before she begins the lab, she reviews practice problems that are very similar to the ones in the exam. She also allows her students to make up labs easily, doesn't make it difficult at all. Professor Hart truly cares for her students. 100% would take again.

Honestly, one of the first chem prof I've enjoyed. She knows her material, she loves to help the students understand. She is also hilarious. I would def take her for a lecture than a lab. However, I can see how the material is difficult. I struggled but she made me enjoy the class.

She was a great professor. Lectures were entertaining and well thought out. 10% of the grade was attendance and the other 90% was made up by 4 tests + the final. The final can replace your lowest test grade if you score higher on it.

Prof Hart is super funny and understanding. You can tell she is knowledgable on chemistry. Labs are long but she will work you through it. Per lab: 1 report, notebook check and lab exercises. 3 tests in total. I would take her for organic, but she no longer teaches it. Take her even if you suck at chem like me. She will make you feel worthy.

Amazing Professor, incredibly nice and makes you feel comfortable to ask her any and all questions you have. Really cares about her students and makes it a safe place to work in. 3 tests. A lab report for each lab which is the easiest thing in chem. She tells you what minimum score you should aim for in each test to assure that you pass. TAKE HER

My and my sister took her Orgo 1 and 2 back in 2011 (we both became pharmacists). This lady is amazing!So knowledgeable. She is the answer to my security question every time they ask: who was your favorite teacher. She was always available after class. I felt like we lived in her office, but it was so worthy! beyond amazing!so much respect for her

I took Dr. Hart for CHM1045 and CHM1046L, and she's amazing. She helped me understand and appreciate chemistry a lot more. As long as you consistently study and do problems in the textbook or study sheets for lecture, you're fine. For lab, show up, do your notebook and lab report correctly, then you're good! Wish she taught orgo. 10/10 recommend!

Omg I LOVED this professor. Her lectures are amazing for ADHD ppl. This class is fast and VERY heavy on studying, but very rewarding. Grades are based on 4 exams. The final exam replaces your lowest exam grade. 12 study sheets that sum up the whole class. Don't take this class if you don't want to actually learn. Attendance is crucial for notes

Professor Hart is honestly amazing. I also took her last semester for CHM1045 and so glad I did. She breaks material down in a way thats easy to understand. Shes very engaging during class and hilarious. For lab she provides videos to watch on how to do experiments to prepare you for class. Very simple: do pre and post labs and study! Shes the best
