She's a great teacher. She is helpful too. Her labs don't take FOREVER like some of the others.
She's very challenging, but very helpful. You'll do well if you work hard. Don't **** up your sig figs.
Dr. Little is a wonderful teacher. She is tough, but she is very clear in lecture and if you study, you will do well in her class. Homework is a must! I hate chem, and right now I have an A! I highly recommend her!
This is a hard class, but the teacher teaches it very well and is always open to students, she also has an awesome basis for grading!
She was awesome! i do not like chemistry, but she made the material easy to understand. she is very helpful, and makes sure everyone understands the material. her grading was great too (gave bonus, let you drop a test, gives partial credit...) DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED!
i have had Dr. Little for 101, and 102. I have an A in both courses. It is important to attend class, and complete the homework (because believe me, it helps)i have not always been the best at chemistry, but she makes it easy and fun to understand and learn it. i definately reccoment her :-)
She will go out of her way to help anyone. Offers lots of study material for test. Do homework b/c it also is a lot of help. She has a real passion for the subject and it shows in her teaching.
great!
Dr. Little is a very good teacher. I am not good at Chemistry at all, but I got a B because everytime I didn't understand something she would help. I even sent her a few e-mails asking her questions on the homework and she wrote right back.
This teacher is great, she really is helpful and she take plessure in teaching. Take this lady you get an A or B no doubt. just do all extra credit and The HW and make sure you go to her when you need help for her test. Test are pretty simple (when you study) I didnt study hard b/c of her clarity and got a B. Very good teacher, NEED MORE LIKE HER
Great teacher..I have never been good in Chemistry but I did very well in her class. She is very nice and helpful.
AMAZING TEACHER. She is extremely helpful with the labs. Provides her own notes for the labs. You have to do prelabs to make sure you look over labs ahead of time but you can check your answers on excel. She drops one lab and one prelab grade. Two lab reports that cannot be dropped. She really cares. Finds goggles/shoes for you if you forget them.
shes is a good teacher. Class is enjoyable. The class concepts are sometimes hard but she tries to help as much as she can! Take her class because she doesn't care if you go to class or not. Easy to get back on track if you miss class.
This class is a class for those who enjoy chemistry, but she gives ample opportunity to do well. I do not like chemistry, but in the process she helped me understand it and I made B's on her tests (she grades any work shown). I definitely recommend Ms. Little.
I hate chemistry but she made it easy for me. I got an A in the class. If you pay attention and write down the notes you will do fine. She does Webassign which helped my grade out alot. And the tests are pretty simple.
She is an extremely helpful professor, you can email her back and forth for advice or help on your lab write ups or pre labs. She has it set up to where you can, if you like, turn everything in excel spreadsheets she makes for you. I'm not very interested in Chemistry, but she makes the class interesting and you WILL learn.
Very good teacher, though I STRONGLY suggest NOT taking chem 102 with her unless you took 101 with her or are really good in chem. Most of her references are "You know this because of 101, so I won't go over it." However, I didn't have her for 101, therefore I got lost very easily. Good teacher overall, however.
I like Dr. Little very much. She is a great teacher and I highly recommend her. She makes chemistry fun!
Her class is extremely easy, but if you don't take her for the labs, you'll be lost. So, if you take her class, be sure and take her labs.
Dr. Little is an AMAZING teacher! She really cares about her students everything about her class is designed to help you. 4 tests + final + homeworks. Drops lowest hw, drops lowest score out of the hw and tests. Multiple choice tests of 25 questions(most of the time) and she goes back and re-grades them giving partial credit. Loved her!
Dr. Little is awesome. I made a C on the midterm and failed the final and still got a B out the class. She drops one prelab and one quiz. The quizzes are not very difficult. I strongly recommend her.
is a good teacher, only have to do 2 data sheet for the semseter. She is always willing to help after class or during class. Her test is just what we learned in class so its not bad, just need to review the material. I would definitely reccomend dr little to anyone, she is a great professor.
Dr. Little is awesome! TAKE HER!! She is super helpful and nice. She's great about emailing back quickly and is willing to help in and out of class time! Best teacher I've had so far at SLU!!
Love Love Love her! She is the best teacher I have had by far. Her lectures and notes are better than the book. She goes over everything prior to lab so if you are unsure you know exactly what to do when you start working on the experiments. She talks very fast but she is always willing to help and has a great attitude. Much better than Dr Z.
Way easier than my high-school Chem class!! She is really sweet and helpful!! She really wants her students to do good! She extends homework dates sometimes!
Dr. Little is awesome! She is always very helpful and always answers your emails as soon as possible. I'm not a science person at all but I really enjoyed this class! She does not get upset with you if you miss class, as long as you learn the material...but class was fun and helped so I almost always went.
She is amazing!! Everything is on power points and she goes slow to make sure everyone understands!! She will WAY out of her way to help you!!! I'm only okay at chemistry and I have an A in the class!!! Trust me TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!
She is an amazing teacher! I'm not a science person at all but she got me interested. She has her own way of teaching but you really start to appreciate it in the end. Take her if your able. You won't regret it!
This teacher is the best Physics teacher at SELU. She goes above and beyond to help her students. Went into the course illiterate. I wish she taught other courses. She is genuine & knows how to be honest w/you & give you the real in order to help you be successful in the class. Highly recommend her to any student not knowing about Physics.
She is a fantastic teacher! Attendance isn't exactly mandatory but everything is done in class. She is very smart, and teaches in a professional and organized way. Mrs. Little makes chemistry fun, and you will learn stuff. She goes out of her way to help students, and is very nice. Best teacher, hands down!
She is freaking awesome....cheat sheet in every test....really helpful and nice
AWESOME Professor! Very helpful! TAKE HER!
You will be blessed to have Dr. Little as your chemistry professor! Take her!
Best teacher i have ever had. VERY helpful! extremely nice and loves her job!
Dr. Little is the best! She is very prompt with emailing you back about anything that you have questions about. This is a hard course but she does her best to get you to understand. Definitely recommend her.
She was so nice! Compared to the other teachers, she is the easiest. She let you have a cheat sheet each test and gives a study guide. If you dont understand something, you can go to her and she'll be more than willing to help. TAKE HER!
good teacher but she is extremely hard up over grades. Doesn't give bonus points and will not give you one point to the next letter grade.
AMAZING PROFESSOR! I learned so much in this class. She really helps you develop great problem solving skills. If you study, put the right things on your "cheat sheet", and do your online assignments YOU WILL HAVE AN A. She's amazing, TAKE HER!
She is Super amazing. I took chemistry one semester with the worse teacher ever and took her the next. She is GREAT. Very helpful
gina Little (Chem 107) Hands down the best professor at Southeastern. TAKE HER! Take her! She is so sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. She will email you back so quickly and sometimes even at midnight. She is just awesome! She makes chemistry so easy to understand. Has homework grades and gives you partial credit on the test AND AWESOME SLIDES!!!
Dr. Little is one of the BEST teachers here! Hands down I would recommend taking her. She's so helpful & makes it easy to understand. Take her, you won't regret it!
Dr. Little is an amazing teacher. The material wasn't easy, but she explains it in a way that makes it easy to understand. Very willing to help and answer any questions. Tests are straightforward and very similar to homework problems. Come to class, do your homework, study...you'll make an A.
She is very willing to help when you need it. Her lectures are a little on the boring side, but it is chemistry so it cannot be that exciting. If you have a good background in chemistry and attend all the classes, you'll probably get an A. If you struggle in chemistry like me, you could still end up with a B. There is homework every week.
GO TO CLASS!!! DO THE HOMEWORK!!!! Super nice lady, is always there and helpful.
She is very helpful with homework and understanding the material and very understanding with absences. She loves class participation. Allows make-ups. Welcomes emails. Good teacher! Absences do hurt grades though! A lot of material is covered each class. Do not advise missing this class at all!!!
Dr. Little is a great teacher for the average student. Her tests are brutal though. Still, she's the best Chem professor you're going to get at Southeastern. She's very nice and approachable and she will help you.
She is very willing to help the student. I missed a few class periods,, and she knew I was gone due to the fact that she takes the time to get to know her students. Her power point notes are given. Go to class, and you will think the course is simplified. Gives partial credit on test which can bump your grade! Allows a reference sheet. cheat sheet
She is very nice and tries to be very clear and helpful. Do all the homework assignments cause they help and she drops the lowest test score. Also write everything you know about the question on the test because she gives you points based on what you know whether you get the answer wrong or right. Would definitely take again
Study and you will do best. Go to her office hours.
Lectures are hard to follow and she gives really hard tests. Study and show your work on tests she gives tons of partial credit!
She knows her students are non-science majors so she works hard to explain the material in a way thats easy for everyone to follow. Online homework is just a repeat of the lecture so if you need to miss class you can teach yourself easily. If you show your work on tests she gives A LOT of bonus even when wrong. I went from C to A through test bonus
So much opportunity to get an A. Take the online quizzes all 3 attempts to get a 100, make detailed cheat-sheets for tests, and do the online homework and you're guaranteed an A. Go to class and answer her questions, you'll really learn the material. She expects participation on the entire class' part
Very nice and easy going teacher. Very helpful to anyone who needs it. Likes for students to get involved and not just wait for her to answer everything. She gives partial credit on the tests for showing your work, so even if you get the answer wrong, you have a chance to still get a good amount of the points. Would definitely take her again.
Dr. Little was my favorite professor this semester. She really understands that not everyone loves/understands chemistry so she makes the class as simple as possible. ALLOWS CHEAT SHEETS FOR TEST, DROPS LOWEST TEST GRADE!
One of my favorite professors at SLU! She gives a ton of partial credit, is very helpful outside of class and is very caring. I didn't know I was capable of doing so well in Chemistry until I took her. She actually helps you learn and UNDERSTAND the material. Don't skip class! Take her any chance you get!
AMAZING professor. Had Waggenspack for 3 classes and then a scheduling conflict allowed us to get her. BEST DECISISON ever!! SHOWING YOUR WORK on tests allows lots of partial credit. Homework is much harder that the actual tests. Accessible outside of class is you need help. Allows a full page of cheat sheet for each test. & front & back for final.
Dr. Little is my favorite teacher ever. She is so understanding and easy to talk to. She is willing to work with you if you work with her. Her lectures are very easy to understand is her vocabulary is hilarious. I would 20/10 totally recommend.
TAKE HER!!! Absolutely amazing teacher. Love her. She breaks everything down and makes it easy to understand. Open to questions and ensures you know the material before moving on. I struggled w chem and dreaded taking it before her.. but she made it fun & easy!! TAKE HER, you will not regret it!!!
She was a great option for CLAB She is super caring and explains material very well! I am taking her again next semester! She is very knowledgeable on the subject and is always accessible outside of class if you are ever confused. She is probably the best option for lab! Always helps in any way she can!
By far the best professor in the chemistry department. Take this woman every chance you get!
She is the best chemistry teach I've ever had. She is always available to help, whenever you need. She explains the material really well and thoroughly. She is very nice and caring. If you need help with the material, she has office hours, and she answers emails very quickly. Also, she does test reviews that are extremely helpful.
Very helpful!!! Do homeworks and youll do good!! Shes always there to help and truly wants everyone to do good.
Dr. Little is the best professer that I've ever had at Southeastern. I had her for CHEM121 and CLAB 123 and she was phenomenal. Definitely a must-take if you can get her.
Dr. Little is very clear about what she expects from you from the get-go. She'll let you know ahead of time everything you need to have prepared for lab days, and during lab she's very helpful. Online labs can get confusing if you don't have a solid grasp on the concepts already. But if you put in the work, you'll do fine.
Dr. Little is one of the best Chemistry professors that Southeastern has to offer. She is super helpful and really wants to see her students do well. She will do anything to help you out.
I think she is very great to take for a lab. She does check you for a lot of skills which helps grading. If you have a question ask she'll definitely explain it to where you understand. In the lab reports can be difficult but if you watch her videos she post on Moodle they are 10 times easier and make the lab reports seem like a piece of cake!
Ms. Little is a really good professor. Highly recommand
BEST professor Iv ever had. you can actually learn in her class, she does give a lot of hw but it really prepares you for the test and helps you learn the material and it keeps your grade up as long as you do the quizzes and homework you can do bad on the test and still pass the class but she prepares you so much for the test. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Not enough words to express how much I enjoyed Dr. Little's class. Easily learned the chapter material. Lots of homework that prepares you for the test. Creates lots of opportunities to get extra help. Learns students by their names. Grades aren't heavily affected by tests. Classmates expressed Dr. Little's class as one of their best class
Loved Dr. Littles class. There were four tests including the final, two homeworks per unit and about 15 quizzes. Quizzes were usually just one question given at the end of class. Shes defintely rooting on you to pass, if you do poorly on the quizzes you can drop them and have your exams count for more points. Id take her again 100%.
Dr. Little is a great professor. She gives out assignments to help you understand chemistry and prepare for the exams. She actually learns her students names and is such a sweet woman. 100% would take her again.
This is a super easy class! Loved Dr. Little! She drops your lowest hw and quiz grade; she also gives extra credit! TAKE HER!!!! This class is super interesting. If you like forensics, you will like this class. She posts notes and powerpoints online, and she reviews them in class. Highly recommend this class!
Dr. Little sets up this course for you to pass. For tests she allowed a sheet we could create ourselves to use; for homework she would make videos for questions we had trouble with. I highly recommend her if you arent lazy. Shes one of the best and most understanding professors in this department.
TAKE HER!!! She is the best chemistry professor i've taken at selu! She makes everything so easy! We had prelab quizzes online with multiple attempts. The lab reports were on google sheets, which made everything so much simpler than the labs in the lab notebook. She was always available to help with the labs/reports and answer any questions!
Amazing professor! Even though I'm not a criminal justice or chemistry major, I completely understand the material. She made class fun and she works with you to help you do your best. Loved this class and professor!!!
The worst part of this class was ALEKS. She explains everything pretty well, moves a little fast but I guess that's expected. You have a "class activity" at the end of every class which is basically a pop quiz. You are also allowed a cheat sheet for each test. The best option for chem!
A gem in the chemistry department. Most caring professor I've ever had. Can't recommend her enough!
I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Little. She's so caring and explains things so well. She even made extra videos to put on Moodle further explaining material. I hate chemistry, but I had her at 8 am and actually enjoyed the class. 100% take her!!!
This class is no joke. She is amazing but this class is a TON of work. Be prepared to work an hr or 2 every day (7 days a wk) to keep up. There are videos to watch and quizzes to take online. There is ALOT of homework completed in Aleks which can be super frustrating at times. Not easy. Very time consuming, but she is great. She is always helpful.
Dr. Little is an amazing professor and person. She really cares and is passionate about science. Her tests are very difficult, though, and they are all application based. She understands how this may be hard for students. She gives 15 homeworks, drops 10, and gives bonus opportunities. We have 3 exams & a final. U have to really work for an a/b/c
Chemistry was not my thing. But, after taking Dr.Little's class I enjoy it. She really cares about students growth.
Chemistry is horrible imo, absolutely hate it, and I absolutely suck at it. Dr. Little is the best you can get, truly a diamond in the rough and it shows. If you struggle with math/chemistry you can expect: very hard tests, 8+ hours a week to stay on track, and you'll fight for a C/B. Lots of homework for padding, but takes a lot of time.
I absolutely adore Dr. Little. Never thought chemistry would be fun but here I am. If every teacher was like Dr. Little the world would have way more scientists
I loved having Dr. Little for chemistry this semester! Chemistry is a difficult subject for me because I'm not that great at math but her lectures definitely have helped. Even though attendance isn't required I highly recommend going to class it helps a lot. Dr. Little drops some homework grades and has two grading styles which helps your grade.
She is amazing. Don't take anyone else. Her classes fill up quickly and I see why now. She is ALWAYS willing to help. Students must work VERY hard. She expects that. Quick to answer emails. The opportunities to learn are many. If they could all be like her....Dr. Moyer, are you reading this???? She should be teaching others how to teach chemistry.
I took Dr. Little for the lecture as well, but she is great for lab as well. Can't recommend her enough. Lab is imo a little easier in some ways if you just prepare. She makes the composition notebook faster and easier. Also all the prelabs and analysis are on Excel which is amazing. It saves you so much more time when you get the hang of it.
Content of info is difficult to understand. She allows multiple attempts at pre-lab. Has students draw comic strips in notebook. Takes off for tiny issues on skills sheets and post lab analysis. Difficult to understand in terms of directions for Google Sheets. She loves a good scatter graph with a trendline. Always willing to help. Very very smart.
Lab: Harsh grading w reports. It's never good enough no matter how hard I try. Thankfully, there are other opportunities for points. I don't like feeling unsuccessful. I have given up trying to understand the material. I just do what she says and hope for the best. The really smart students are also struggling. But, she is the best option.
Professor Little was amazing. Although chemistry is difficult to grasp, she still made the class seem easy She posts online videos to help if you don't understand. Those videos can be rewatched and replayed however many times are needed. Aleks was the only terrible thing about this class. Her test was difficult too, but I averaged a C on each test.
I really like Dr. Little. She is very tech savvy, she always posts the lecture notes to canvas. I do not think we get graded on participation, but if you do not go to class, you will not pass. Also, watching her videos that she posts on canvas are very helpful.
The homework in ALEKS is the worst part about this class, it took up so much time that my grades in other classes tanked. She gives out graded activities to do in class everyday. For the honors section, there's a big project due at the end of the semester. She lets you bring a page of notes to tests and gives partial credit if you show your work.
Dr. Little's course does not suit all students' needs. While passionate about the subject matter, and possibly a great teacher for students interested in chemistry, the workload is overwhelming. For those with broader academic interests or time constraints, this course will take away from your other studies. I DO NOT recommend.
If you are taking chemistry for the first time or second time, she is the best teacher every. 10/10 would recommend every time.
I liked her but she made me feel like she hated me.
Dr. Little is probably one of the best of the best professors I've ever had. Her lectures are very good and helpful, she also does review sessions with her classes prior to a test. Their is group quizzes, lots of homework, and tests. She is very big on partial credit, if you explain your reasoning or show your work she will often give half credit.
Professor Little is a dedicated chemistry teacher. While the workload can be demanding, her engaging lectures, helpful videos, and grading flexibility make the class manageable. The use of Unstuck ai alongside the provided resources is a great way to prepare for tests.
she goes really fast during lectures and can be hard to keep up. i feel like she makes the topics seem harder than what they actually are. cheat sheet on test. gives particle credit on test. her test are pretty long and more than half the class never had enough time to finish the test. no bonus points. she does have good test reviews tho
