This has to be one of the smartest men I've ever met. Just listen to his stories, he even let me bring the brains back to the townhouses. not to mention we cut the head off a live rat.

Dr. Ballough is by far one of the best professors at Lasalle. He has an extensive knowledge of the subject matter. If you study and do your work, his tests are extremely easy. I would reccomend him.

His class can be very difficult, but he is a great teacher. He loves bio! He gets so excited and enthusiastic when teaching. He'll make you love it too!

I remember Dr. Ballough saying once in class that he doesn't feel that he's an expert in his field. Maybe not an expert, but I still believe he is one of the most insightful, brilliant and passionate professors I have ever had.

he is the best teacher that i have ever had- his excitement in the subject makes you interested. he knows what he is talking about and he will do anything he can to help you understand it too. he doesnt just give you papers to memorize- he teaches you

ballough is an amazing professor. he's passionate about the subject and really excites you to learn. his exams aren't easy, but he prepares you very well for them. he's just an overall great guy, i admire the hell out of him.

amazing guy, has a great passion for what he does, this is the only class i would get up for every day and stay awake in, test are hard but he had multiple review sessions that he works around the your schedules so he makes sure you can get to one- overall great guy

Awesome professor. He really gets you involved in his lectures. Make sure to study for his exams big time, they're very difficult even though he tells you exactly what will be on them.

I had him for Neuro. The subject matter was of course hard and you really need to study for his exams, but he is a decent man who has a real great personality and will help you if you ask for it! I say take him!

great teacher..doesnt take attendance but since he knows everyone personally he notices when your not there. tests are hard but he gives great analogies in class to help you understand the material. very fair grader--everyone got exactly the grade they deserved..he will also curve every test!

One of the greatest professors i've ever had. Unbelievalbly knowledgeable but humble at the same time. Will sacrifice time and energy for the benifit of his students, but also will never spoonfeed. I highly recomend taking any coarse he teaches you will learn a hell of a lot.

Teacher is smoking when it comes to teaching...hes very funny and you will enjoy his class overall. The class is not easy ..come on its what you expect its Anatomy, but he is extremely helpful in and out of class. Always have review sessions before test. Very caring person and he treat his students as if they were is own children.

I actually had him from 1998-2003. Changed majors, so I had him for BIO220 and A&P 1 and 2. Excellent teacher. I am now in masters classes pertaining to this material and can still remember concepts taught in his class. I feel better prepared than most because of it. Those taking his class now, you WILL again use this and WILL know it well!!

Probably the best teacher I've had. He is such a nice man and really knows what he is teaching. As long as you go to class and read exactly what is on the handouts you will do great in the class. He even gives plenty of chances for extra credit. Great class, definitely take any class with him!!

Great prof...though his exams are a bit tough, if u study the notes in details, u shouldnt hv a hard time making an A. Also, its to YOUR advantage to do the extra credit!

Ballough is a great professor! His tests are challenging but there aren't any surprises! Study every single bit of information from his notes. I had hundreds (def more than 300) of index cards for each exam. I learned SO much from him. Not only is he an amazing professor, but he's funny which helps when trying to write down every word he says!

the best teacher i've ever had. listen to him, take notes, go to class, and start studying for the test 4 days beforehand. some say he spoon feeds you but thanks to him i STILL know things he taught me a year ago like the back of my hand.

Dr.Ballough?s Bio 220 class was what a biology class should be. He makes slides and prints them out for the students which is extremely helpful. The tests questions come directly from his slides or class discussion. He will also point out during class things that you may need to know for MCATs/Med School. Lectures are NEVER BORIGN! <3 him.

Dr. Ballough is amazing. take his course. you will love it. hes so helpful and he wants everyone to succeed. We also went to the same high school so I love him even more for that!

Dr. Ballough is THE BEST PROFESSOR ON THIS CAMPUS! He is very knowledgeable & really wants to help you out to understand the subject. He gives you opportunities for extra credit. This was a difficult course with a lot of material but if you pay attention in class you should do fine. attendance is not mandatory but you'll do better if you attend

He is the best teacher in lasalle. So compassionate, wants you to do well. He gives numerous review sessions and his test are exactly what the notes say. No surprises or tricks I highly recommend him for any class he teaches. SIMPLY THE BEST !

Awesome guy. Don't bother spending $ on the textbook. He gives you notes that all you do is understand and memorize and you'll do well. Offers a lot of extra help, but sometimes its better to just read the notes yourself. Class is interesting but attendance is not mandatory.

Dr. Ballough was the best professor I've had at La Salle. He makes class both fun and knowledgeable. Although he's a fun professor, the material is tough but he gives numerous review sessions where he tells you exactly what is on the test and offeres tons of extra credit! I loved him!

Dr. Ballough is a really nice guy, and very knowledgable, but he consistantly shows up late for classes, tests, and study sessions. It takes weeks to get tests back, so you have no idea how you're doing in the class. Overall, a very interesting class, just disorganized. He is willing to help you if you need it and offers tons of extra credit.

Dr.Ballough is very intelligent and friendly. A&P1 with him was definitely easier than A&P2. He can get off point sometimes which is probably why A&P2 was more difficult. I would recommend him though. He's very nice, friendly and helpful.

Really great class. Reading the textbook will help you to better understand the material. He goes off topic every now and then but the required material is gone over. He has review sessions when a test is coming up and lets students know what to study. Overall, really helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable.

Ballough is one of the funniest down to earth professor at La Salle. The class requires much studying and if you don't get something he is always there to clarify and will spend as much time with you as long as you give effort. Amazing man, taking his class was a treat.

Dr. Ballough is a great Bio professor. Very knowledgeable and really cares about you and how you are dealing with the material. Tells you most of what questions will be on the exam before the exam, and holds special review sessions where he goes over the possible answers. 20 hrs of studying before the exam necessary for an A. Great guy.

Dr. Ballough was one of my all-time favorite professors! I took him for anatomy 1 & 2 and while his tests are far from easy, if you pay attention, study for at least 15-20 hours (I recommend starting a week prior to an exam), you should be fine. He tells you exactly what to expect. He's also really hilarious so you'll look forward to his class.

Dr. Ballough is an amazing professor. He really gets to know his students and takes the time to talk to them or help them, even if they are no longer in his class. In class he makes his lectures interesting and even at time exciting. For many of his test you have to put in the work but it really makes you feel accomplished.

Dr. B is my guy, took him for BIO 220 and did a research year with him. Hes a great guy, get to know him and allow him to get to know you if you are really interested in pursuing higher education in this field. Hes flexible, personable, and wants everyone to succeed. 10/10 would take his classes again!

super awesome guy! brought great energy to an 8am A&P. he gives you guaranteed questions/diagrams for the exams and even goes over the general outline of the rest of the test over a recorded/live review season! he gives good examples/stories to help you remember the material. the exams can be difficult so make sure to attend class regularly!

Professor Ballough was one of the best professors I had my freshman year. His exams are very difficult and you will need to put over 10 hours into studying to get a solid B on his exams. But, he makes it easy to do so, he tells you everything you need to know in his lectures and guarantees you questions on the exams. Overall he's a great guy!

HAD him for AP 101, since he was my first anatomy class it was hard at first. I got a 70 something in his exam and that was WITH the curve. If you don't feel like putting in a ton of work, don't take him. He curves good, tells you some parts of the exam, but his exams are still hard. You will have to memorize paragraphs, label & draw + graphs

best professor ever!!! he was so caring about his students and genuinely wanted us to succeed! i was definitely challenged because the course-load is difficult as a Bio course, but he was so engaging that I actually wanted to learn!

Please read this. If you EVER have the opportunity to take this professor please do. This man is so genuine and caring it makes the difficulty of his class so worth it. He cares about you and what you learn, he is one of the greatest professors at la salle. If you are struggling talk to him he is there to help.
