This is a great professor. He teaches the right way and it should be the standard. No tests in his class. Thats right ppl, no****ass mid-term or final. Just papers. I got an A. He is the greatest and the best. I cannot wait to take him again.

Dr. Cusack is an amazing professor. He makes the classes very enjoyable with his blunt humor and wonderful stories. Aside from this, his heavy focus on case studies on managerial strategy and policy allow the students to develop their critical thinking and analytical skills from a corporate level.

Great Prof., he is not a hard grader at all. I learned fairly much in his class and got an A. I Recommend him to anyone. I wish he taught every class at SJU.

His class was too easy for a 3000 level. However if your determined to learn more, I would suggest to read and ask away, he is very caring and helpful. If you need advise for school, take advantage don't hesitate just ask. Above all classes, walking in his class was definitely stress free. He's a comedian all right. Easy A, you'll be fine!

reading the previous ratings b4 taking his class seemed unreal..after being exposed to him for 1 day i realized this was one professor that wouldnt make my life miserable..taking notes is optional b/c he answers any questions for your papers a week in advance...no tests, midterm, final, presentations etc..dont even have to show up to class!TAKE HIM

EASY A. If you don't get an A you are stupid. No tests, no final. 3 graded HW assignments. He grades them out of 120 and you need 90 points to get an A.

The single greatest professor ever. Doesn't just teach you something relates the topics to real life you learn without even realizing your learning. No test just 2 sets of questions that are graded, not graded hard. The class is fun and interactive, everyone participates not because they have to, because they want to, great class, great professor.

he is a good teacher. attendence was not mandatory at all. he gave 2 sets of questions in which he would give us all the answers on "review day". deft recommended.

Excellent professor who brings a lot of practical knowledge into the field. This man not only teaches you about management, but the important journeys you take in life. GERRY!!! Gerry is the man, he wants to be called Gerry. Anyway, he's the nicest teacher at SJU, and his class is dumb easy. 3 mandatory papers get you a B+ and if you do a book report on top of the three papers, you get an A. NO TESTS! Gerry is the man. Must take his class.

One of the best ! Incredibly interesting class discussions, great sense of humor. Believes the textbook industry is a sham so he doesn't make anyone buy a textbook. HOWEVER, don't let these reviews fool you, I thought I was a shoe-in for an "A", and I ended up getting a B+

This professor is the best professor out there for Management besides Hegarty. He only asks of you to do 6 email assignments and getting 4 of them to be check pluses. You must come to class otherwise often, if you miss too many classes you will receive a C for the course. Very Easy. No Project or Final for course. Take this professor over all other

Gerry is the man! If you ever get the opportunity, don't ever pass up on taking him. No text book/final/midterm. All grades are based on focus groups that he conducts in class and weekly papers. You definitely learn a great deal in his class with very little effort at all. Take his class and at the end of the year you will be inspired and amazed

Gerry is awesome. No textbook, no required attendance, but his class is interesting to go to. Lots of interaction, interesting topics, and even the papers are interesting to write about. Just have to write 6 short emails of 500 words, and you get an A. I highly recommend Gerry.

HE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR FOR ANY BUSINESS CLASS! Not only is he funny, but extremely intelligent and teaches his subject based on his own experiences which makes it less boring. I usually fall asleep in class but this has to be the only class I ever stayed up for. Very inspirational professor! :)

One of the best professors ive come across at St. John's. Hes one of the only professors that doesn't stand behind a podium and read PPT's all class. He tells it how it is and he does not give exams or require a textbook. Your grade is based on various topics that he gives you to write about. (Hint: Give him more pages then he asks for)

He is the man. He pays you points to write papers. That is the entire class. You need 39 points to get an A with each paper being 6-9 points (2-3pages double-spaced). He wants to know your opinion which is really nice. He is a very understanding professor and he will show you how to succeed in life. A true manager. TAKE HIM!

Very easy class. Always try to put personal experiences in your responses because then you will be a four in his mind. Attendance not mandatory, has an assistant type up the notes and emails them to everyone in the class. There is something horribly wrong with you if you don't get an A in his class.

Just show up and get an A. This guy genuinely loves what he does, takes interest in getting to know everyone in the class. Basically, you sit in a big circle and discuss theories but it turns into joking around and getting to know everyones life and personalities. Always went to this class because it was funny and enjoyable. Take Jerry!

Must take this class. He cares about his students and he cares about what you think. The class is participation based and your papers so if you do the work you get an A. He teaches you about the work world, and helps give you real life experience stories! He is really inspirational and cares about what he is teaching. This class is really great.

Just take him. He cares about his students and tries to give you every chance to bring up your grade if necessary. However, he can also be very forgetful since he is old. He is super nice and encourages discussion in his class. You do not need to participate often to receive an A, but you should because the topics are intriguing.

I've had him for MGT 4333 and MGT 2301. Very easy A. A few papers, classes are discussions rather than lectures, but sometimes he gives classwork that's extremely vague and unorganized, but it really doesn't affect your grade too much. I don't know anyone who hasn't gotten an A in his class

Take him if you can. It is an amazing class and is alway fun to go to. He gives you short papers to write on articles you read. yo have about 1-2 weeks to do these super short papers. if you get a B+ on everything you will still get an A. By far one of my best professors

Didn't learn much in this class. He mainly just talks and has discussions. There is homework involving reading or watching videos. No tests or finals but there are several short papers. He always wants the name tag out on desk which is annoying and class can get boring

Class consisted of 6-7 papers about 1-2 pages in length; either thesis or comment papers. Grading criteria is straightforward if you hand it in on time and you read what he assigns you'll get an A. Things that annoyed me: calls on you randomly, and the name tags. Overall though, he's the man.

No tests/finals, just short papers, lets u rewrite papers, doesnt have a rubric when it comes to grading really. Lectures are interesting&he's willing to help. This class was a breeze but still learned some stuff.

If you disrespect this man or his class, the problem is you. If you are in the Tobin college of business, this is the one professor you should do everything you possibly can to take. Because the class is set up in a way that you have to actually try not to get an A, it allows you to really enjoy it. dudes awesome - take the class.

Jerry was wonderful this semester. His class consisted of around 5 papers on readings that he assigns and thats it. There is no midterm, final, or tests. He is such a caring man and he just wants to hear your opinion. Take him if you can, hes great.

No tests or quizzes, no final. Just one-page papers that you have to write and one group project. He was inconsistent with grading and assigned things randomly without a clear guideline. Would not recommend if you prefer structure and order in your classes. If you don't care, then I would recommend.

He only assigned like 5 papers this semester and one final paper. There's no exams in this class. Pretty much a guaranteed A. Take him.

Can't say enough about Jerry. The absolute goat. A real knowledgeable and respected man but his class is all papers based on readings so you don't really need to go to class. You'll want to though because his lectures are all stories and he is very funny. Easy grader and a MUST take

Jerry is such a nice guy. He is very laid back and reasonable. He understood that his students have a life outside of class. I felt like I learned a lot of valuable lessons from his lectures and the readings for our papers. The assignments would be max 2 pages. Take him! Turn your camera on during class too.

There are very few things I actually like about this school, Prof Cusack being one of them. Super nice, sweet, and funny old man. Often spent a lot of class time giving us life advice. He makes us do these panel things where he picks a few students to talk about an assignment which was annoying but fine. 6 papers as our grade but all very easy!

Professor Cusack's class is lecture and discussion based. We had 800 word papers, 2,800 word midterm and final paper. They are easy, but you have to take notes in class in order to do well on them. They are basically a summary of things we discussed in class. Although he does not provide a lot of feedback, the papers are overall easy.

Easiest A you'll get. No exams just easy reflection papers. A 3 minute group presentation which is super easy. He does require webcams to be on but you can come on and off for little breaks. Lectures were more of a discussion than a lecture and he lets you out early everyday (15 minutes). Pay attention cause he will call on you some days.

Prob one of my favorite professors here. A great professor that gives so good advice. Papers are fairly easy if you take notes throughout class. Also, a 3-5 minute group project was also fairly easy. Requires you to have your camera on. Participation IMO is key which can lead to you being a familiar face and also makes the class more enjoyable.

Be sure to participate! Will ask you to share written answers from homework assignments on a "panel." Aside from papers, expect a group presentation about a potential business idea

Gerry was a great prof, if a little boring at times. There were maybe 6 assignments over the semester and they were all easy. He expects you to share answers and participate during class, so pay attention cause he asks stuff like "what do you think of what I just said". Midterm and final paper are based on lecture so attendance matters for that.

The best professor in SJU, he loves what he is teaching, and you can feel that from him, always with a smile and willing to help, very smart guy. We had about 6 papers, one midterm paper and one final paper all around 1400 words each. Make sure to participate in class and have your CAMERA ON!! it's the least you can do

Best professor at Sju, hands down. Always put a smile on my face and never pressured me into handing things in on time or setting due dates for my late work.

Professor Cusack runs an easy-going class that focuses on short papers. With no exams, it's a breeze if you do the readings and participate. unstuck study was a big help for preparing for the writing assignments. Highly recommend taking this class!
