I loved him he was very easy!

Great teacher. Tests are a little hard, but he gives you some easy assignments to help bring up your grade. I got an A in his class and I'm no geography.

I took Mr. McNeill for every Geography class that was offered. I love him as a teacher and as a person. He kicks major ass!!!!!

I really enjoied his class...some people told me to avoid him, but i am glad i didnt...he will try to trick you on about three test questions, but the tests and papers are really easy...take him if you get a chance

his papers are very very easy. the tests aren't that bad but you do have to study. he's pretty cool!

I enjoyed him as a teacher his assignment help your grades out tremdously and if you study for the test you will come out with at least a B

I love mr. mcneil yes his test are hard if you don't study they are tricky so just take your time Projects are easy but in college you can't wait until the last minute and expect an A I thought he was a great teacher I would totally recommend him!

Very good teacher. Speaks slowly. Four tests plus a couple projects. His tests are a bit difficult. He words the questions so they are tricky. Just study and it's easy. Overall pretty good.

McNiell made a point to talk slow and repeat himself during lecture; offered quizzes, easy projects, and bonus activities to help out grades; and made the material relatable to his students and was there to help if needed.I don't see why anyone would be critical of him unless they just didn't put any effort into the class.

Online class: his tests are hard, before the test he sometimes tells you what to focus your studies on, if not feel free to email him. Know definitions do not just go by power points, maps on dest difficult to read. If you contact him for help, he will Help, take him if you are diciplined enough to study the text book and powerpoints

I liked him. Hes easy after you figure him out. He makes you think on his quizes and tests. Some questions are kinda tricky but they're all mult. choice and you can eliminate 2 immediately. You have to use your head to pich the right one from there. He gives a practice quiz on the first day of class that is a good example of how his tests are.

He gives power point for every test and 90% of the material comes from them. The rest you MUST attend class to hear. He makes the material interesting by often relating it to Louisiana. HE LOVES NEW ORLEANS! He never gets sidetracked and hes an overall nice guy. I didn't like him the first week and thought I was gonna be miserable. I was wrong tho!

Alot of people are saying he jumps off topic. THIS IS NOT TRUE! They are also saying that its too much material and they took too many notes. You will see after the first quiz how he works and you adapt to that easily. He goes over EXACTLY what will be on the test the class before and some questions come word for word from the quizes. Hes great!

I took the online class and it was pretty easy. He gave you all the notes and videos and the test came completely from the notes. Just use your notes during the test and youll do good.

Overall an outstanding professor. He gives you an overview of what to study for his test so if you study the material you'll pass the test. He is pretty easy going but he does NOT like cell phones in his class. TAKE HIM!!

Very easy!! Take him, he gives a lot of extra credit and you will have 3 papers to write but they are very easy and he grade easy,too. He reminds me of Santa Claus and he also makes this noise after he talks or laughs. Its cute! Everyone in class laughs at it everytime we have class and u really have to pay attention to it b/c u can look over it!

McNeill is one of the best teachers i've had. Test are pretty tough; However, he does a review almost identical to the test. Very easty to get along with and helps you with anything..School or personal. Highly Recommended

Great guy! I took the online class and did HORRIBLE on the first test. I went to his office and he gave me and another student weekly lectures in his office. I was able to make an A in the class after that. I would not take him online, but in a regular classroom setting he would be a great teacher!

Excelent! Most of his test and quiz questions come from the powerpoints, some comes from his lecture, and maybe 1% from the text. He is clear and consise, and always professional. He controls the classroom, and cannot stand cellphones. If I had to I would take him again without question.

Mcneil is probably the best professori have ever had. You do need to go to class, but he makes every effort to help you. I would take him again if I could

I took him online and it was not easy at all. I think I would have benefited more from in class lectures. You have to be EXTREMELY self motivated to take it online and KNOW the material. He was VERY nice and was as helpful as he could be with an online class. Once again, not really a class to be taken online, but really liked the professor.

I took this class online. He is a really good teacher, and he knows his stuff. However, you have to know the material. I have a high B right now. If you just follow what he tells you, you should be fine!

Mr. McNeill is a great teacher, and although some of his lectures are borderline boring, he's a really nice guy and genuinely wants everyone to learn something and do well. He's easy to talk to, and if you study the quizzes (he lets you take them home) and read the chapters you'll ace the exams.

His class is easy if you go to class. 95% of his test questions come straight from his lecture. I opened my textbook twice during the semester. He talks a lot about New Orleans (not exactly my favorite city). Again, if you want an A, do not skip class. It's kind of a boring class, but what freshman class isn't?

Attendance is mandatory for the lecture. Tests are mostly lecture notes. His lecture is consistent so he will always tell you info needed for the tests. Quizzes ans tests are easy if you study. Gives plenty of bonus opportunities! extremely helpful and always e-mails quickly. RECOMMEND COMPLETELY!

I took him for 103 and 322. He is very easy, however, I got C's in his classes only cause I took him online and really didn't care. I would recommend taking him in the class. It will seem to easy via internet when it really isn't.

Very nice teacher. I took 103 online, which I don't really recommend. I made an A but it was a struggle. I've been told it's much easier to take the lecture. But overall very nice guy.

SUPER EASY! I made between a 95-100 on every exam. It really doesnt get any easier than this people. Highly recommended. If you dont make an A in the class, you just plain arent trying. Nice guy also.

Very nice guy. Took him online during summer. Don't recommend taking during the summer. I got an A, but it was a strugle. He did he offer extra credit and you have two papers to write. Would take him again.

Easy class. I took this class over the summer online and it was super easy. He will pretty much tell you what to expect on all the exams. He gave two essays, but the criteria was simple. He pretty much will go out of his way to make sure you turn your work in and will give you second chances for grades. Easy class. Recommend Summer online term.

i took his online class and i have to say it is the best online class i ever took! he has everything explained to a T. you will get a email reply from him with in 24 hours. he is sweet & helpful. and generous if he can tell your trying he will help you out. he hates giving people bad grades and will sometime move dead lines.

Cool professor that is easy going & clarifies course requirements. You will cover a lot of material in this class so you should consider attending class regularly. 4 exams are straightforward from lectures, 2 essays, 3 map quizzes.

This guy really cares and takes his job seriously. He has a great sense of humor and is available to students if they need help. I learned a lot and had a good time with the material.

So helpful! He has a review before EACH quiz and test which are verrry helpful! He also gives bonus opportunities. One for 20 POINTS and the other for 10... I'd take him if you had the option. Also, if you're on his good side he is soo sweet and helpful!

Great teacher, gets irritated when class doesn't get involved though. Very willing to meet with students if needed. Extremely knowledgable and actually sat down and explained everything I was having trouble with. I would recommend him if you are willing to put in the work to get a good grade.

Mr. McNeill is a pretty good teacher for the most part. I've taken him twice. I would record him because he can skip around sometimes. He is very willing to help you as long as you attend class. Super good professor, highly recommend him! Tells very bad jokes though!

Overall, he is not a bad teacher. His first two test are hard, but last ones are fairly easy. He gives lots of extra credit, and we even went on a field trip. He is a very nice man, and you can tell that he wants the best. I just think the subject isn't fun in general, but he tries to make it better. He also laughs at himself a lot.

Textbook isn't much needed. Tests come straight from class notes/powerpoints. Take good notes, show up to class & study the notes/powerpoints, you'll be guaranteed an A.

You have to pretty much write down every single thing he says and study, study, study. A lot of his test questions will be small things he only mentioned once in the lecture. He uses powerpoints, but they aren't beneficial much when studying. Must attend class to pass. Very boring teacher, but he does give lots of bonus points.

I took him for Geo of LA and boy, was I surprised. Geography is a very diverse science, way more than I bargained for. Professor McNeill raised the bar on diversity! This class was very challenging, and exceptionally instructed. He is knowledgeable, kind and engaging. You'll work for your grade, but he's got heart. He helps those who try.

Posts a lot of the information online which is super helpful. Overall not difficult. Do the work and you'll be fine.

I took this class online and I would suggest this to anyone looking to take this class. Very easy class with only 4 tests and one paper.

Mr. McNeill is easy, but you have to study. There are 4 tests, 4 quizzes, and 1 paper. He reviewed for every test by reading questions off of previous tests. Here's a hint: study these questions because the exact same ones will appear on the test. As long as you study your notes, the maps, and the review questions you should make an A in the class.

This class was by far the easiest class i have ever taken. The people saying it was hard did not go to class. He gives a review the class before the test with 15/20 exact questions. Tests include the exact quiz questions which he gives you a copy of. If you study the material he tells you, do bonus and show up to class-EASY A with minimal effort

He gives all notes from his lecture slides and on exam review day literally reads off 10-20 questions from the exam. If you go to class its easy to make a good grade. He is a pretty high strung about phones, distraction, etc. but just respect him and hell respect you.

Easy class! Great for boosting your GPA, however, you must read and do the quizzes. There is a quiz every week worth 25 points. there's a midterm and final. There's a cultural paper as well that can be on any aspect of cultural geography that helps with the grade. Way too easy not to pass with a good grade!

I love this professor. He cares so much about his students and that they all pass his class. All powerpoints are on Moodle and are very helpful. Has quizzes before every test and has bonus opportunity. Tests are not that hard just study for them and you will be fine. Look on quizlet for help with studying. Highly recommend taking him.

TAKE HIM! All of his quizzes and exams are posted on quizlet. I wish I would of known this in the beginning of the semester or I could of ended with an A. But this professor cares about his students and also offers a bonus opportunity.

Lectures every day. Usually does not keep students over 45 minutes. The class is really easy as long as you pay attention. He gives multiple group and bonus assignments. He is super sweet and will always help if you need. If you study what he tells you, you will do fine.

He is an amazing Professor! He cares about his students and works with you. He keeps lectures short and test are easy because he does test reviews. I wish I could take him every year.

Professor Gerald always makes sure we know EXACTLY what to expect on both the quizzes and exams. He wants you to pass and the only way you could fail his class is if you never go because thats when he does all the reviews before the quizzes and tests. Highly recommend taking him.

Ok guys this professor is incredible. Hes inspirational, hes encouraging, hes an ally. His only goal is to teach you what you need to be successful. He Gives you all of the tools you need. Read the chapters he says you need to read. Do the work trust in his guidance and you will succeed. Hes a refreshing change. No trickery
