She is a really great person. Talks to us about social issues and about how the school needs to be changed. I support her in a cuny takeover lol make her the new president of this school. For math, she's ok. Just need to give notes and go slowly!

Pay attention you will definitely learn something. She's always available for tutoring. Go to tutoring with her it will make a difference. Her tests are straightforward and if you pay attention in her review sessions you can pass her tests.

Why are people so concerned that she talks about stuff besides the book? I would rather have a professor get off subject for awhile then lecturing the entire time. She teaches exactly what is on the exams. Study the review and you will get an A.

Teaches exactly what you need to know to do well on exams. Very clear, a little fast but will slow down if something is not understood.

She is a really good teacher, but she goes fast at times. If you do the homework (which she doesn't check) you will do fine. This class is a self-motivated class. You need to study outside of class to do well. She is very helpful and will explain things that you do not understand.

This professor is not a bad teacher at all. She's actually pretty good. She's an interesting, funny lady. She does go really fast tho. If you can keep up with the speed you should def take her. She is fair and gives many practice tests before the tests (that dont count for a grade).

I agree completely with the last person. Pretty good teacher. Her practice tests really help and she goes through them with the class. I guess she does go a little fast though. Her stories can be interesting and funny, and they often come outta nowhere.

She's a decent professor. Classes aren't intense, but if you don't pay attention or skip classes, you'll get lost. She's presents the material clearly, but some complain she moves on too quickly.

nice prof. but can go too quickly when going over problems. just do the homework and study the sample problems and you'll do fine. *Note: studying from the textbook and your notes are not the same as studying the sample problems that are on the test.

the easiness of this class depends on your mathmatical backround, if you sucked in algebra you have to work harder, and shell get a little annoyed at you. All you jave to do to get an a is pay attention and DONT SKIP classes. Go to the reviews (they are basically the test) Shes a good teacher

Sometimes you come across teachers that don't want you to pass. Prof. Taini is a good teacher; can be fast at times, but overall she offers plenty help it only depends if you take it or not

I like her. She keeps things simple and the tests are never hard. It just annoying sometimes because she does the math so fast and it just loses everyone.

She goes really fast and it may be tough to follow through, but she does offer help and make-up tests if you don't do well the first time. I did horribly on 2 tests, but well on the other 2, and was able to pass with a B+. That was far above my expectations. She gives additional credit if she sees improvement.

Dont listen to previous ratings. Very very very good professor! fair grader, you dont have to come to class or labs, just come on tests, but the only problem is that you won't be able to do good on tests without labs and classes lol

I absolutely loved her! She is a little crazy and moves at a fast pace, but she is very helpful and attends to all of your needs. She is flexible with the four exams that she gives, and you can take them when it is convenient for you. Provides great reviews for each test that are almost exaclty the same as the exams themselves. Wonderful professor!

She totally rocks. If you don't understand something she will see it in your face and help you out. She wont move on until everyone understands so if you don't speak out it's your fault. You don't have to go to class, but hey do I even need to say it? I hope I have her again, she's a sweetheart.

She is so bloody brilliant! her classes were wicked , absolutly loved it , her peer leader marina was great too , but too bad she graduates this year , well she is fast , but nice , will help wenu go to her , she grades extremely fair , all and all , she rocks!

My advisor at Pace (graduated 10 yrs ago); Expects students (especially math majors) to know their stuff. Very willing to help any student. Go to class, pay attention, and do the work. Is that too much to ask?

The best teacher for this course! She tries to teach us math that will be used in our everyday lives - I don't like math, but she makes the subject as enjoyable as possible - plus, most of the students are really slow, so she goes over everything several times. Also - doesn't take attendence, so you can just show up for the review and the quizes.

She is an excellenct professor. It was math that I had learned years ago. She is easy if u do some hw but pay attention to her test reviews. you can not fail if you go to class.

She was extremely helpful and taught the class very well. She explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood the material. She gives homework but never checks so its optional to do. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class.

She clearly has mood swings. Sometimes she is nice but there are times she can be a psycho! Once in a while, she has an attitude problem.

She does not know how to deal with complaints. She will go crazy even with only one little complaint. She also has an attitude problem.

In general ok teacher. can be rude w/o knowing it. goes extremely fast, so not for those who like to repeat things for more than 2 lectures. hws are killer, prob bc she teaches so fast. tests are ok. great flexibility w/ hw due dates though. will always be eating something in class, digresses easily.

She makes you work for your grade and does not give any handouts, but she only does this because she wants students to fully understand the material and actually learn, unlike most Pace classes. I did very bad on my first exam and she was very fair with me and gave me a chance to still pass the class as long as I showed her improvement by the final
