He was great! Got me totally into Psychology. He's funny and intersting but you have to take notes and study. This class was the best I've taken at MCC! I remember things from his class better than things from classes I'm currently taking. I tell everyone to take him!

I completely adore this teacher!!! I wish there were more professors out there like him. He gets you involve with the class and entertains you also with every topic he teaches. As a returning student, I was very nervous about getting back into the classroom. Mr. Braasch really made the transition back to the classroom comfortable. High energy, knows what he is teaching, engages the class, and absolutely the teacher you should take if you have to take Psych. I will take any class he teaches. Highly recommended!!!!

Easily one of the greatest professors I've ever encountered. Even at the college level he shows genuine interest in his students and wants them to succeed. He is reasonable and understanding if you need help on any assignment and is very clear of his expectations. If you have a chance to take any of his courses I'd highly recommend you do so.

Lectures are super interesting. He tells interesting funny stories that help you remember the information needed for the tests/quizzes (there aren't many of them). He is very nice, and easy going/understanding. Love his class.

The material is difficult and complex it is a lot to know but if you go to the class you wont have a problem the text book was great but new DSM V means new book

Mr. Braasch is the man! He's hilarious when teaching! Always cracking jokes and gets students involved so your not just sitting there listening. Everything is clearly set out for you so you know when everything is due and when examsquizzes are. Not much homework at all! I think we had like 5 assignments the whole semester!

Braasch is hilarious and teaches you how to implement different studying techniques; quizzes are easy, lectures are memorable, and the tests are not intimidating. Do what little homework he gives, look over the notes, show up, and enjoy yourself. It's that simple.

Psychology has always came easy for me so I got an easy A in his class. However, everyone can get a A in his class, he is just that great!

Mr. Braasch is incredible! Although the stuff you learn is interesting as is, he makes you enjoy going to class, makes it remarkably easy to be engaged in that days lesson and is VERY funny. He doesn't want you to fail but missing multiple classes could easily make you fail because there's so much info being presented each day! Defiantly recommend

SUCH AN EASY CLASS! I took PSY151 online over the summer and it was a 4 week class. The class was over before you knew it. As long as you complete your assignments you are set. The assignments are not lengthy and seem to only be graded for completion. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. There is a PDF offered online but all answers to tests are on quizlet.

I absolutely LOVED taking psychology with Mr. Braasch! He is always very enthusiastic about what he teaches and although his class is basically lectures and copying after his notes, he makes it enjoyable with his great sense of humor and he's always willing to work with you on anything. He's all for making sure that you will succeed!

His class is kinda hard and a lot of information is provided. The test are timed and has more than 60 questions. Once I wasnt able to answer all the questions so I got a bad grade. When i spoke with him and explain i am trying he gave me the correct for the questions i missed. He is understands that students do work and have other things going on.

Highly recommend taking this class with him online because it was so simple, easy, fast, and you just had to make sure to try your best. He brakes things down so easily especially if you are not familiar with online classes. Super amazing prof, sad i never got to meet him.

Mr. Braasch is hands down the most amazing professor and person I have ever met. I never thought a lecture was something that is possible to enjoy. Makes everything interesting and relatable and will help you out anytime with class work or anything else you need. I wouldn't recommend taking any other professor except him. Get ready to laugh too.

Braasch makes his students feel engaged and outlines what will be on every test by creating study guides of terms and which chapters those terms belong to. In addition to making it easy to anticipate what you'll be tested on, he also makes himself available to answer questions during office hours and seems to really enjoy what he does. Hilarious.

Braasch knows what he's talking about and doesn't overload your online class with busy work. You're in and out and feel like you know the material each week. Just do the assigned work and you will come out just fine.

I took Psy-151 with Gerry Braasch and I fell in love with Psychology from that. After taking few semesters from psychology I really missed it and decided to take PSY-275 which is abnormal psychology. The class is not too difficult but have to study for the exams to receive a decent grade. I would for sure take his class again.

Having Mr. Braasch in my first semester at MCC made my life so easy and kept me looking forward to going to class. There wasnt one class he didnt make the entire class laugh at least 5 times. I missed one class because of a doctors appointment and when I emailed him to see what I missed, he gave me everything I needed. Awesome teacher, very fun.

Braasch is an awesome teacher. His assignments are inspirational, interesting, and fun. His assignments are simple, yet makes you learn. His assignments usually are a reflective essay on a Ted Talk (easy) and quizzes (easy). Just read the chapter throughout the week. Awesome professor!

I really liked working with Professor Braasch. My only concern was this man never reads his emails I swear. Gives great feedback, but honestly wouldnt recommend taking online if you struggle with psychology. however, I will say all of his tests are easy and usually are a cake walk. Nothing to worry about, just please make sure you read!

I took Gerry's PSY-275 class as a part of the Reel Minds Twofer, which combined abnormal psych with JRN-180. His lectures were amazing and very engaging. He's a really nice professor and has a great sense of humor. His exams are easy as long as you attend lectures and briefly read the textbook. I would definitely recommend any of his classes.

I loved this class. He gave good feedback and was not a tough grader. He seemed like he genuinely wanted you to understand the topics and would explain why things were wrong. If you do the weekly assignments and study for the tests this class is an easy A.

Mr. Braasch makes PSY 151 enjoyable, even at 8:30 AM. There's very little homework, and your grade is based mainly on four 60-question exams. His exam review sheets are a great tool for doing well in the class. Overall, a great professor with a relaxed, effective teaching style. Highly recommend!

Took online over winter. Super enjoyable class. His video lectures were simple, explained things well, and he always cracked a couple jokes throughout each of them. He's definitely able to keep things interesting, so even though the lecture videos may have been a bit long sometimes, they were still enjoyable yet to the point.

I could go on and on how much I adore Mr. Braasch! His classes were so fun and engaging even though he uses slides and lectures. He also really cares about his students, and keeps in touch even after you are out of his class. He encouraged me to go after a competitive scholarship, and has been such a standout professor at MCC!
