This lady is fabulous. She explains EVERYTHING so clearly. She gives worksheets occasionally which help boost your grade and are pretty easy because she gives questions exactly like this in your coursepack to match up. She's just wonderful!

absolutely wonderful. statistics is boring but if you have to take it, she is one of the best professors at ecu. knows all her students by name and really cares about your grade. easy A because she is so helpful.

She breaks the material down so students can understand it and is always offering her help. She has a genuine desire for her students to do well. Just go to class, listen, take notes, and understand what is being taught each day(if not ask her to clarify), and you will do good in her class.

She expects too much with homework and assignments.She also expects you to show every little detail of your work or she will count off (I'm talking about even when you're trying to find the median which is obviously the middle number you will have to show where you counted over spaces!) Very helpful though

She was wonderful! She is probably one of the best college professors you could ask for. She cares and wants each of her students to succeed with anything they choose and also in her class. She gives you the formulas and everything you need for each test. She wrote us a note on the final saying how much she loved our class and wished us the best.

If you go to class and do the worksheets (which are pretty much just like the tests) her class is very easy. The material is hard but she explains everything soooo well.

Take MacLeod over any teacher for stats. She's extremely nice, helpful, and won't leave you behind if you don't get something. I thought the class was really easy, moreso because she made it easy. She gives takehome assignments that she goes over before you hand in that will really help your grade. Easy A.

Ms. MacLeod is WONDERFUL! It was one of the easiest A's I have ever earned at ECU. My #1 suggestion is to go to class. A lot of the material will not make any sense unless you are there to see her work the problems firsthand. She is definitely the most friendly teacher I have ever had and lots of EC! Do not take this class with another teacher.

This class, if you're any good at math, is a piece of cake. Ms. MacLeod is a good teacher, but very specific. You must show ALL work, even stuff that seems unnecessary because you can do it in your head.

Mrs. MacLeod is one of the best teacher I have ever had at this university! She really cares about her students and desires for all of them to do well. She makes very clear what will be on the tests and what you need to study. She does give partial credit on problems which is helpful. She will go over each problem with you. DEFINITELY take her.

Mrs. MacLeod is the perfect example of how professors should be. I have absolutely no complaints about her or the class. She makes learning STATS easy and fun. I wish she taught every subject! Take her class if you want a good grade. Yes there is a decent amount of work involved but it's well worth it!

Best teacher ever. you use a work book packet. gives you partial credit for everything and is there for help at anytime.

One of the best math teachers I've ever had especially at ECU. Go to class, take your time on the homework and review your homework before the tests and you'll do great. Best professor I've had at ECU so far. It was my 2nd time taking stats and my lowest grade the entire semester was a 93. She is always willing to help and you can tell that she actually wants her students to succeed. I would not recommend taking stats with any other professor at ECU.

Great professor! She was very clear when teaching, was great at answering questions, and was always willing to help her students. She provides you with ample study guides and practice problems for each test. I always went to her office hours for homework problems and she was always willing to help. She usually extends deadlines for worksheets too.

Macleod is the best professor ON ECU CAMPUS. if you simply do and study the homework you will make an A in this class. She gives you guides of the exact questions that are on the test. She is the best! Get her if you can.

Mrs. MacLeod is absolutely incredible. Her setup with the coursepak helps keep things organized. She's always available to help during office hours and via email. No matter how simple the concept is, she will explain it over and over until you understand. If you want an A in stats, you NEED to take it with her. She's extremely friendly too.

Ms. Macleod has been by far the best teacher I've had so far at ECU. If you have 2 or less absences, she adds 5 whole points onto your FINAL grade. Her tests are easy if you do the worksheets she tells you to practice. She really knows her material and cares about her students learning it. Great professor! I'm terrible at math but she makes it easy and is willing to explain something if you don't understand. I didn't do well on the first test because I didn't know how to prepare. I aced the second one by doing the homework problems over and over. I would recommend her for this course.

Best prof here on campus. I was always a C student in math/stats, and I have an A. She is extremely knowledgable, wanted to help with any questions, and loves her job. Gives "extra" points on exams. Provides formula sheets for exams.

The sweetest and most helpful professor I have come across so far at ECU. Love the way she teaches, and especially the course pack. Her tests are hard but she definitely does everything she can to help you (formula sheet, study guide, etc). If you get the chance, definitely take her!!!! Best part is, you don't need the book! (she's that good).

Professor Macleod is an exceptional teacher! She is very helpful when having trouble and makes STATS very easy to understand. Makes all of her tests out of over 100 points therefore you can miss a few and still get a 100. Notes are very easy to understand and study as long as you go to class.

Best math teacher i've ever had! not a lot of homework and tests are similar to HW. it's in your best interest to go to class everyday because that's how you learn the stuff. she's so helping and great at explaining things and she's really patient. she's so sweet and funny! def. take her for STATS! theres only a course pack you have to buy also.

I am awful at math, but taking this class it was not too bad! I actually enjoyed going. She lets you email her at anytime about questions about math problems, she gives you the answers to homework worksheets (you still have to show work, but at least you know when you get it wrong to redo it) and office hours are great.

I LOVE HER. She is super helpful and explains everything very clearly. Go to her office and she will tell you what you need to fix on the homework. She always answers homework questions in class if you can't make it to her office. Gives extra credit for attendance at end of semester and for SPOTS. all tests are out of 103 so you can miss some

Great professor, I'd recommend attending her class regularly. She is always available for students during her office hours. If you pay attention class is easily passed, and she will help you understand the material by giving examples and further explanations.

This professor is absolutely amazing. You have to go to class to understand what is going on, but she lets you go to another section if you need to. Also, she gives extra points if you miss less than 2 classes throughout the semester. She gives a few extra credit opportunities. She is the best teacher ever. TAKE HER!!

The SWEETEST lady in the world. The tests are long, because they are all hand written (around 6 pages front and back). She is more than willing to help on homework or anything you are confused on. Homework is very reasonable. Love her! I have an A as of now.

PLEASE! Do yourself a favor and take Mrs. MacLeod. Not only is she super sweet, she does literally anything to help you out she can. She provides relevant examples and applies them to everyday life. She also provides you with multiple extra credit opportunities throughout the course.

Truly the best professor I have had in my 2 years at ECU so far. So caring and will go the extra mile to help you with whatever you need! Can be diffucult if you dont pay attention, but if you go to class, pay attention, and do your HW you will easily get an A! She is so nice and knows what she is talking about! 100% recommend.

Awesome course pack that cost 10-12 bucks at UBE. No $200+ cengage garbage textbook and access. If you show that you are trying you will pass, conversely, If you act like you don't care you are not going to get any leniency when it comes to grading time. Always answer something for partial credit.

Gerry MacLeod is an amazing person and an amazing professor. I am not good at math, but ended with an A in her class. Show up to class because a lot of material is taught each class period. If you do the study guides before tests and practice worksheets given, you will be successful in her class.

I'm so glad I didn't go through four years at ECU without taking Mrs. MacLeod! SO good at her job, explains things so you can understand, and VERY helpful during office hours! First off, I just want to say that statistics is not my favorite subject. However, Mrs. MacLeod makes statistics enjoyable! She is very good explaining problems, in which she uses real-life examples to get her point across. This class does not require a textbook - she has her own coursepack that is inexpensive. Shes a very sweet lady and made the class super easy. Talks a lot an goes through material very slowly which makes the class super boring. Don't do the hw exactly her way and she will count you wrong even if you got the right answer.

Mrs. MacLeod is an incredible teacher. She made statistics easy and interesting. I took the 5-week summer class and it is a lot of work, but as long as you do it you will do well. I finished the class in 3 weeks and got an A on every test, without her I couldn't have done that. Nothing but good things to say, she is awesome.

Take this class over the summer! Failed Stats with a bum teacher the year before. Gerry was a great teacher and explained everything well. Quizzes, tests, and Worksheets are your only grades. This class was so much easier than the teacher I had before!

I took MacLeod this past semester online and I loved it! She is an amazing professor who really takes the time to make sure you understand the material. I did have 1-2 videos to watch daily and small 3 question quizzes with them. It may seem tedious but those extra grades really help. Would definitely recommend taking her class!

There were a lot of quizzes for each topic. I had to print off SO MUCH PAPER. She has you do worksheets. Worksheets help you with future tests (multi choice & written portion). Do EC! Please please make yourself a part of or make a groupme for this class. Help each other out with questions. She has MUTLI versions of the tests btw. Watch her vids.

Professor MacLeod is a great professor, i took her online and she provided everything you would need to be successful as well as worked with you when something came up. the only grades you have are 4 exams, the final, and 2-4 question quizzes on each topic. 10/10 would take her again.

I have her for 2228 over the summer, which is an entire class crammed into six weeks. But she makes very clear lectures for EVERYTHING. The quizzes, worksheets, and test guidelines all have lecture videos. On top of that, at the beginning she sends an information form where you can tell her things about you that you'd like her to know and she cares

I had her online during Covid, hands down the best math class I have ever taken. It was a lot of notes and the exams were difficult but she prepares you.

SUPER sweet professor that really wants the best for her students. She posts the lecture videos and then you do a small quiz on each video. Tests are super clear grading wise and you know what to expect. I would recommend her for anyone taking stats!!

Wonderful math professor! There's no need to make stats hard and she definitely doesn't she is a fair grader because she tells you exactly what will be on the test. If you do ALL of the practice she gives then there is no reason you shouldn't get an A.

She is amazing, sadly she is retiring after next spring semester 2023. You are aloud to have a full paper cheat sheet during exams. She helps whenever is needed, please take her when you have the chance to! I have never taken stats and was scared to but honestly, these is the easiest and nicest college course I've taken.

The only thing keeping her from a 5/5 is the fact that she is not the most clear over email sometimes and would ask for things that wouldn't go towards our grade, but still fantastic with her lectures. I took the class online and she does a great job explaining everything for it to click for us students. Easy A, highly recommend.

I would say this class was very organized. Anything you needed she would post in the designated module. She had Video lectures that your able to follow along with and if you email her with a question, she almost always replies in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend!

I love her! Sadly this is her last class at ECU :( I feel bad for people who won't ever get to take her. Literally, just take notes and practice what you learn and you are set to pass this class. Extra credit if you miss two or fewer classes which is a good deal.
