This is the best teacher anyone could ever have. He comes to class extremely prepared and ready to teach. He is always on his A game. He helps out everyone, and makes sure everyone understands the lesson. I hated math since high school but now i love it, i even considered getting a math degree. i recommend him to everyone.

Dr.H., is one of the B-E-S-T!!!!! Teacher a person will ever have in their lifetime I believe!(I hated freaking math, I was sick just the thought of the class.)In his class he cares,you will learn and he does not move on until every person in that class understand. everyone was telling me how hard calulas 2 is , not if u take it with mr.husseini. hes a really good teacher, he explains the examples perfectly, gives us problems to do our own in class , doesnt give you too much homework problems, and if you do the homework and study the examples , i guarantee an A.im glad i took calc 2 with him.

great teacher, He let the students solve the problems on the board, and He dosent leave the section unless everyone understad. if u do ur homework and participate;He will give u extra points at the end. very recommended professor.

Took math 183 class last spring and he was very helpful. Students solved on the board with no pressure. Gave easy quizzes and his grading was quite lenient if You'd ask me..His class is one of those that if you study and review his notes/problems then you'll have a very good shot at B+/A. He's a very outgoing teacher too and interesting.

Dr. Husseini is probably one of the nicest professors you could ask for. His tests were fair (for the most part) - but you better know your stuff on test day! He also took time during class to answer the student's questions. The one bad thing is that he won't give tests back. You can make an appointment & go see it, but he won't give them back.

Dr. H is 1 of the best PROF. that I have had He makes sure U understand what U R being taught It is not going to be EASY A, U HAVE 2 STRIVE HARD 2 OBTAIN IT. Dr. H provides us w/ a ton of EX's & demonstrat them on the board & makes sure that by the end of the HR we know the material I highly recommend 4 students who want 2 study & not play around.

Best teacher ever had! i used to hate Math, it made me sick but after the class I love it and I plan to become a math teacher.

Alright I've taken Calc 1 and 2 with Dr. H and he is an excellent professor. I don't care for math since I am prepharm. Obviously some of the comments below me come from a very angry student who probably didn't get the grade he was looking for or failed. They seem to be from the same person and I wouldn't take them into account. I recommend Dr. H!!

Dr.husseini is the greatest math teacher I ever had . when he gives you examples he goes step by step to help you understand and he will not continue unless you understand.

Hmm, I happen to be in the same class as the poster below me. This teacher certainly has a unique way of teaching, however it does not mean that it is a bad way. I've been in many classes where the teacher lectures and moves on. This teacher gives TIME in class for the students to try 3-5 examples each section independently on top of ~10 on the hw.

I am taking him now. Dr. Husseini explain well and make Calculus easy to understan. It is hard subject and you need to study to make good grade.

Last night was the night for review before the final test next week. Professor Hussaini was prepared to review and hand us out guidance. Dr. Hussaini is very knowledgeable. I recommend him highly. You have to study to pass. You are not planning to study you are not going to make grades. His tests are not easy.

I am taking his class. I am not sure if I will make a good grade. my two test result one was low and the second one was a lilttle better. I like his teaching method but I feel he can give us a hint for some of the question that will be in the test.

I am taking Dr. Husseini. During this final week he helped me and other students a lot after class. He answered my questions. He tells you have to study at home by yourself. This my second time taking this Calculus but his teaching is different but I made me enjoy class. Test is hard therefore take good note and study them .

I was beyond nervous and overwhelmed going into this class but he really helped me understand the material. I definitely had my share of difficulties, but he was flexible and there to answer my questions. Having him as my professor made the class enjoyable and I feel that I did much better than I was expecting going into the class. STUDY,STUDY!!

This is the second time I had Dr. Husseini and he is a great professor. I thought this class was going to be really hard because I took it before and got a C. I learned more in his class than I did in any other of my classes. I feel like he is truly one of the best professors HFCC has. Thank you for the great semester Dr. Husseini.

When I first went to class I was very nervous because I was scared that Dr.Husseini was not a good teacher but boy was I wrong.he is the best teacher In the world he did many examples and actually cared to make sure that we got it before he moved on. Honestly, he was absolutely amazing. Dr. Husseini cared for each student, and was fair with all of his students. He did many examples on the board so you knew what to expect for the exam. He helps you understand math and is very understanding on a personal level. I would take this class with no other than Dr. Husseini :).

Dr. Husseini is great. He genuinely cares for his students. If you need help, it's there. When it comes to teaching, he gives good examples based on what his students are majoring in. His grading scale is tough but as long as you do what you need to do and express your concerns when you feel like something is unfair, you should do perfectly fine.

Dr Husseini on of the best teachers i ever have. He explain in detailed steps even if you already took in the past. His homework is not overwhelming, also he reopen all assignment before every test to give you chance to improve your grade. he do 4 tests in total and will replace the lowest, no quizzes.

I am in his class now. Dr. Husseini explain materials very well. He showed me and explain to me my grades earned through the semester up to today without the final grade. I knew exactly what I should make on final to keep my grade up to my expectation. If you study and work on my math lab you should do well.

Mr Ghassan is a good professor. He can give a lots of examples from the real world where mathematics is used. He is very kind and cares about his students. He is not a tough grader. If you do the homework on my mathlab, go to his classes and participate, you will get an A!

Dr. Hussaini lecture is enjoyable. I always liked Math but he made me like it more. Dr. Hussaini explain lesson well with many example on the board accompanied with power points. Also participation is very important in his class. I always asked him question after class and during class.

I am happy I took this class. I understand now a lot about pre calculus and when I go to calculus 1 I will be ready. Dr. Husseini explain well and make you understand the concept behind each formula and reason for studying each chapter. I advice any students to take him if you can.

Explained things so well. I personally hated math prior to taking this class. He makes sure you understand the material and you can he loves teaching. I highly recommend and I'm super sad he doesn't teach my next math class.

This professor is a legend, his homework assignments were a little bit difficult, but his quizzes/test were so much easier, great helper outside of class and really wants his students to succeed!

Took this in Summer 2022. Quizzes every week or so. Tests were overall easy (forgot amount, mb 3). He would use PowerPoints for lecture which was easy to follow. He rambled about other math courses and their connections to what we are learning which can be confusing, but ignore that. Homework could be extended. Show that you care, always a plus.

I had Professor Husseini for my online course this semester. Although this subject was not my personal favorite because I prefer basic algebra math, the class itself was nice. Professor Husseini shows that he cares about his students and wants to help them the best that he can and as long as you pay attention on zoom, you will do well in class.

took him this summer and it only was one month but It was nice, his teaching is out of slides but was good he used to make us solve problems and get up at the board to make class active. The problem I had is that some tests were different of we learn but some were easy. Our class was TWTh and he used to give us a quiz every Wednesday 10 questions

A very good instructor. I took his precalculus course and it was easy. I liked his course. I am waitlisted for his calculus course next semester and hope I get in. He curves all tests and they are all multiple-choice. Overall, he was a great teacher.

Mr. Husseini is a good guy plain and simple. He really makes an effort for all his students to succeed and makes math learnable. Besides that you will definitely laugh during a lecture and learn pre calc with a good teacher. The only downside is its a night one but it is a sacrifice that pays off. I am also taking his class next semester for Calc 1

amazing. if no one gets a 100 on a quiz or exam he will add 1 point for all the class. we don't have due dates for assignments all of them are due at the end of the semester. but we need to study well because he uses PowerPoint, and we don't solve a lot of questions in class. Always ask him to check your wrong answers, you might get an extra point!

Professor Husseini is a very caring professor, I feel he puts himself in the position of students and treats us the same way he would want to be treated. He wants everyone to pass and will help us in any way he can. His exams are from middle of the chapter exercises so if you master those you will succeed. You have to put a lot of time into it.

Amazing professor, Math is a hard subject and i don't think that it's enough to only study what we take in class because math includes a lot of rules and examples, so we have to work for it double of what we do in other courses. I am gonna take with him calc 1 next semester, cz he's a very caring professor.

homework was alot. you have to use something to speed up the process. lots of tests as well. for summer class u have a test quite literally every week. the tests themselves arent hard as long as you know how to do the math. hes really nice you can talk to him about anything and ask questions to your hearts content

Dr. Husseini is a VERY kind teacher. His lectures are very simple. If you take his courses you will be doing a LOT of independent work/studying outside of class. But it's well worth it. He's easy to talk to about any issues and will go over any examples you ask him. The slideshows are straight from the book.

Dr. Husseini is by far the best math professor at HFC, his teaching style & grading method shows he truly cares about his students. He never likes to see someone struggling & will actually go out of his way to check on students & give them all the help they need to pass his corse confidently. I am super grateful to have had him as my professor!

I didn't did my best in this class because of personal things but i would say as usual that prof Ghassan is the best. I highly recommend him.
