Very dull lectures, and does not inform the students about the correct textbook. Make sure to get the Lonestar edition! I wasted big money because of this issue. The tests are not hard, but the class is so boring it is hard to pay attention. She takes points off your overall grade if you miss more than 4 lectures. Forgets to tell you about homework

Although the lectures can be long and dull, Dr. B is really nice and will answer questions and explain anything that is unclear and she does try to integrate activities and discussions into her lectures so that they are more interesting. Tests are tough if you don't study the materials thoroughly, online homework is very easy.

Great teacher, she really makes sure everyone understands before moving on. Gives lots of opportunity for extra credit. Keeps the students in mind. She will answer any question you have easy to talk to. Doing homework and buying connect is a must.

Dr B is very helpful, she answers all your question and replies to emails the same day :). Need the book, test are easy as long as you study the review and homework questions. Only 3 exams and very easy homework.

TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE! All the homework is straight from the online book which has the answers, and the tests are online with plenty of time to finish them. You have time to check your answers and you make better grades. This class was short and easy.

Best professor ever. First of all she knows her stuff and comes to class very ready. Her teaching is so clear you only have yourself to blame if you don't understand the class. Her grading is generous but not free you will need to earn it. Grades and gives back work quickly. You only wount understand her grade if you don't want to. Pretty too :)

Took as an online class. Discussion almost every week, very easy, if you do them at all you will get a 100. You will need the book. Tests are long, and the time limit is short, but you can honestly find most of the answers on quizlet if you don't know it. Would definitely recommend for online.

Her lectures are heavy and can be boring but she breaks everything down to you and cares about her students before she moves on. Always asks questions, she knows her stuff really good. Keep up with the work and lectures. Study because her tests are hard and the final exam is an option depending on your grade.

I would never recommend taking Professor Bayanpour to anyone. First of all, she is hard to understand and her tests are written poorly. She seems to not really know what she is teaching making it hard to understand what you are even learning. I wish someone would've warned me before I signed up for her class because it brought my average down a lot

This teacher doesn't do a good job at teaching. I am taking her for a summer session now and her tests are extremely difficult. They're both hard to understand grammatically and hard to understand what the question is even asking. You could have all the formulas memorized and still not know the answers bc they're so hardly worded.

The usual online teacher. Gives you a clear readout of everything you'll be graded on. Everything is done through Connect, didn't open book once. Every chapter has a "learnsmart" section and a homework assignment. She's tough on the discussion posts. Study like crazy for the exams. There are 3 of them and they account for 55 percent of your grade.

This class was Online, It was hard learning all the material online so I sugest to take her in person. Their was 2 exams 1 final, weekly homework/discussions.

Super easy class. Took class as an 8 week course and made an A. Class was straight from Connect and no discussion boards. Quizlet will be your bestfriend if you get stuck on quizzes and exams.

Not a hard class based on curriculum. However, her lectures are extremely dull that its hard to keep interest the entire length of the class. She assigns homework on extremely random days so don't expect to rely on any kind of structure. Tests are nothing like the Connect homework assignments. Expect to study hard for tests.

Dr. B was a phenomenal professor. She knows the material, and explains it well. It's a little hard to stay concentrated sometimes, econ can be boring if one's not interested. She seemed dull at first but she is a really good professor. I'm an economics major and having her helped me with micro a tons. I was already familiar with the types of graphs and the vocabulary which made it an even easier class. Just show up and be open to hearing of what she has to say and if you get stuck you can ask her to help and she will.

Had this professor over the summer 2018 semester. Content was straight forward. Lectures were great and if we had any questions she was always willing to explain.

I think that if you want to take her take it online, if not be prepared to study your ass off on exams. It is 3 tests, with an optional final. Group project and some online HW. She is fair, but the content is not easy and be prepared to work for good exam grades. Although she does give extra credit.

Very clear & helpful during lectures! She does have an accent but understandable. She does reviews before the tests, so take notes! If you get lost, ask for clarification because microeconomics can a little intense. She gives abt. 1-2 weeks to do assigned hw's. There is a group project towards the end, find good partners!! Ive never had a professor give so much extra credit. Like earning up to +10 points on a test. She tries to make the class interactive so its more interesting, she grades quickly and will always answer questions. One of the most genuine profs Ive had. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best pro at this college. She does this full time and you can tell. She is very CLEAR when she lectures, she explains everything very well. She gives examples. Answers your questions. HW will help you with exams, (its nothing too hard). (TTL of 8 hw for fall 19). She gives extra credit as well. You should take her for both eco2301-02.

This online course is mostly through Connect. There are videos as well to further explain materials. Easy grader if you do the assignments. Deadlines are firm. She is thorough and kind.

Due to COVID-19, I wasn't employed for awhile and couldn't pay for books and she set me up with an application for emergency funding. She's easy to reach through email, and gives fast replies. I took online classes in the first session of summer 2020. No late work accepted. Dr. B is very nice and an amazing teacher! She sends out emails every week with "good reads" and weekly info. I took Professor Ghazal Bayanpourtehrani. in the fall of 2020, online first 8 week class. To be honest at first I was not really into the class or even trying that hard. But at some point mid way thru I got a clue and got going. She is a good and fair teacher. She gives the information in multiple forms ( videos, handouts, MCGraw-Connect.

I took this class 8 week in the fall. The tests were very difficult, youll need to prepare heavily, they are also ALL proctored. There is few assignments, a paper, midterm and final. Thats it. I asked for extra credit, all that was offered was an essay for 5 points. Do not recommend, she was also very abrasive and uncaring.

Dr. B so caring about her students and just gave a few assignments. The exam was not hard. Suppose you read PPT, exam reviews and go over all the homework you completed before testing, that's easy to make an A. She also gave some handouts to help you to understand this course. If you have any questions, just ask. She reply to my email very fast.

She generously curved our tests and exams. Exam is cumulative. Take GOOD notes throughout the semester. Textbook heavy. Studying past tests through Connect is super useful for the exam. Make sure to know ALL the graphs and how to do calculations. Also follow directions for discussion board bc easy 100s. She's also very responsive with her emails.

If you are striving for an A, you are going to have to spend a lot of time studying. After proctored tests she would email us saying she's giving extra credit 5 point to tests because no one passed it. Loads of work and textbook heavy, she records videos of herself doing lectures and gives a bunch of YouTube links but none of that helps on a test.

Prof. B is an amazing professor! You need to purchase ConnectED with an access code for majority of her class which is homework through the textbook, weekly discussion posts and the exams. Use the hw, her youtube videos and resources posted on her d2l page and you'll do just fine. There is also a term paper but it is doable. Highly recommend her!

If I could take this professor for every college class I have I would. She is so caring and provided tons of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. This class had 8 hw assignments, 5 discussions, two tests (final and midterm), and one paper. She grades the papers very lightly and responds to her emails incredible professor.

Nice lady but lectures were very broad and didn't explain things very well. Don't bother using the textbook, never used it once. Found it difficult to pay attention to her lectures. All the info is on the lecture PowerPoints. Easy homework, all the answers were on Quizlet. Exams were pretty tough so I'd recommend studying homework questions.

Loved this teacher!! I'm taking her again for ECON 2302. Her lectures were a little bit long but she explained things very well. Pay attention to the graphs because they definitely are on the exams. The homework and tests are in ConnectPlus and you have to pay for it but everything else I loved about this class!! Definitely take her!!

Professor is good, clear syllabus and assignments aren't too hard. 2 big test which are a bit difficult and proctored, one big term paper but she provides enough time to do it, and is helpful through the process. Only downside is she doesn't provide your grade till the very end of the semester...

I had to drop her class because you can't start any assignment unless you pass a ridiculous syllabus quiz that doesn't show you the wrong answers with 100, which is time-consuming and annoying. Also, some questions are not even related to the course. You should consider other options if you can.

Took her for May minimester. Assignments were 2 discussions, 3 homeworks (1 due each week), and a quiz/midterm and final which were both proctored. Little work and it was relatively easy. Gave a set of review questions for the final which were helpful. Most of my learning was done from the textbook as her lecture videos were not the best quality.

Only graded on 3 things; discussions and 2 protracted tests (which make up 60% of your grade). No make up tests, no exceptions. Steer clear of this professor.

TAKE HER. Easy class as long as you put the effort. 4 exams lowest grade gets dropped (you can drop final). Attendance/participation is huge, extra credit given for solving problems for class and handout almost every week. She grades quick, my one complaint would be that the wording on the exams can be confusing, but she will clarify of you ask.
