easy; just study your notes. don't even have to stay in class the entire time, just show up and take your tests/quizzes, and do the assignments. ask him to put his notes online and do the review questions. easy A.

he is really nice.

He's very nice, he even gives you notes for all the chapters. The quizes are very easy, but the chapter test are a little tricky, he will drop the lowest test grade and give out bonus points and assignments to raise your grade. The class is very long and he doesn't give breaks,but you just walk out for a break if you want to.

He is a very nice teacher who listen and tries to help every student. Though he doesn't give break, you can always leave the class any time.He is very considerate, though the tests are challenging.

He is a patient teacher and really tries to make the best of a boring subject. You have to watch his exams though, they can be real tricky. Get the review questions and as a group try to beg or bully him into answering st least some of them.

Very intelligent man. He is very fair with his grading. Gives quizzes and assignments about 3 and 4 test. you'll get an A if you do your work.

I like Mr Ghias because he tries to make the class lively though this course is kinda boring.He also tries his best to answer all questions that are related to his lectures. He also has quizzes, test, assignments and projects that means u have a lot of opportunity to make an A.I will recommend him to students who are hard working.

great instructor, very helpful, and will email you back if you email him. My sister and I took the class together, and I got an A. Teaches in many campuses. knows his subject, and does not need notes to teach, although he uses some on an overhead for your benefit and has a site for you to print out notes.

If you pay attention in class, do your homework (like reading the textbook), you'll do just fine in this class. Dr. Shariff will spend time explaining whatever you don't understand. But the most thing from taking this class is applying what you learnt to your real life to stay healthy! It's more important than getting a good/passing grade!

Love this teacher, as long as you complete the reviews there is no reason you shouldn't make an A. He makes the classes fun!!

Mr. Shariff took a very boring subject and did his best to make it interesting. He will help a student in any way that he can. His test are very easy. they come straight from his review and lecture notes. If you fail it's because you're lazy.

He's a funny professor who teaching an interesting Nutrition class.

I wouldn't say he's easy cuz u have to read the book & his notes religiously. His exams r tricky but it'll pretty much tell if u really understood the concept or not. This man has a big heart-most test q's r on his reviews, drops the lowest quiz, gives extra credit & partial credits, & dismisses class early. You'll learn more than u think u will.

Jump high Jump Low, this professor is great, don't need to look anywhere, he is very fair and teaches very well. Take him for Nutrition. You are sure to pass it.

Dr. Shariff is very nice and HILARIOUS!!! You will learn alot. His class requires a little bit of extra work, but you can easily get an A. He gives alot of opportunities for you to receive extra credit. I highly recommend him!

He was easy!! just find the answers to the review questions and you have an A on the tests! For the quizes, just read over the chapter and you'll do fine, it's common knowledge! He gives plenty of extra credit! Take him and you'll be guaranteed an A!!! He is Awsome!

Very Very happy to see that my grade for Biology 1322 Nutrition is a B. At first things seemed difficult and awkward to some student but if you put the effort into the work in studying you will definitely pass with an A or B average. I like how he has assignments that replaces your lowest quiz grade. Final will replace your lowest test grade. *RAWR

This class is pretty easy if you keep up with the work. I hated going to teh 3 hour saturday class and he just went through the notes. You have to come to class but if you miss couple, you will be okay. There are 3 quizes, 3 tests, 1 writing assignment, 1 diet analysis paper, and a comprehensive paper. Not super interesting.

This professor is pretty good if you keep up with the workload and do the study guides. he is also eager to help you. Very pleasant TAKE HIM!

Great teacher. Tried his best to make lecture interesting--he was funny too. There are 3 tests, 3 quizzes, 1 diet analysis paper, and a comprehensive final. He gives a review for each test and if you study right off of it you will for sure pass with an A or B.

I gave the last review--I forgot to mention that there is 1 more paper which was about the Atkins Diet. By the way, I really enjoyed his class--I got an A:) I would take him again if I had too.

Dr Shariff was very helpful, but you will need to study very hard to be able to make good grade. Also, the class taught me about how to improve on my diet and live a better life.

Dr. Sharma is a wonderful professor. This was a hybrid 8 week course with a tremendous amount of material to absorb in a compressed time period. Dr.Sharma does a wonderful job of clearing up the most complex subjects and goes the extra mile to help his students be successful. Preparation for exams is thorough, and exams are tough but fair.

This is a HARD class, and you will get the grade you earned. He reads of his powerpoints which dont cover much, and his test cover the the entire book. Heavy accent too

Took him for a summer in-class nutrition course. Highly recommend him! He uses a lot of very funny and effective examples and analogies to help you understand and retain all the information.Very fair grading too. If one of the exam questions confuses everyone, then he'll give everyone credit for it.

Really good professor! He helps you sooo much and was very understanding!! I received a 98 in this course. You do a Diet Analysis project which you receive while purchasing the book or separately online. Do well on this and the tests! The tests were very easy if you just go over the review! One final exam and departmental as well.

Professor Shariff is awesome! He is a good speaker and is pretty funny at times. The way he lectures leaves an impact on you and you will actually retain a lot of information. Im so glad I took his class. He is a great teacher and a great person too.

Took this class during the spring semester. Two papers (he grades kind of hard on them), 3 exams, 1 comprehensive final and 1 dept final. He gives out a review before all the exams. Tests are pretty easy (you need to study though!)Do all the extra credits he gives and make sure you attend class (his lectures are interesting). Made an A.

Awesome teacher! This guy can reallyyyyy teach! If you study and go to class and take notes on everything he says, this class becomes a breeze. Science is my worst subject cause nothing sticks in my head but I understood EVERYTHING in this class because of his teaching. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for nutrition!!

One of my favorite professors. He is super nice and if you need extra help he will give it to you. All you have to do is go to class, take notes, study off the power points, reviews, and pop quiz. You will enjoy this class. There are a couple of essay assignments but they are easy.

Professor Shariff is nice and very passionate about the subject. However he tends to get off subject and rant about things (which kills classlecture time). So you gotta fall back on the textbook for his assignments. You gotta put a little effort in this class, so do the assignments and the extra credit he offers and you'll do fine.

Professor Shariff is amazing i took him for basic nutrition, a five hour course and literally he keeps the classroom alive with his jokes. Assignments are hard, tests are easy.

The thing you should study the most are his power points, the things he tells you that will be very important on the tests, and the reviews that he sends you. Do these things and you will pass as the test questions are mainly from these. There will a few HW and at least 2 projects, but you will have to put some effort on one of the projects.

If I could take him for more classes, I would. He is very smart, hilarious and cares about you learning something. He is not hard, but he is not the easiest class either. Pay attention, do your work and give him respect. He deserves it.

I really enjoyed this professor this semester. He does give out extra credit, but when he does EXPLAIN your answer in DEPTH. His tests are a bit hard if you DO NOT study you may get confused. He is a great teacher, and knows his material well! I bought the book, but I do not recommend anyone buying it, the powerpoints will definitely help!

One of the best professors I've ever had! He actually teaches, makes his own powerpoints and provides a small review sometimes. The book isn't necessary, but nice to have instead of looking on the internet when you need it for projects and deeper understanding. Read the book and the powerpoints several times and you'll make an A.

He's a good professor but very boring. I think it's because my class was 3 hours and he literally teaches from start to finish, you will not get out early even after taking a test. He explains the lecture well but I honestly preferred to read the textbook to go over everything and recap because i zone out in his class. Study and you'll pass.

Mr Ghiasz was an amazing professor, i took this class as an elective just for fun and even though im bad at science he made this interesting and easy for me. I love the way his humor makes the class more fun and keeps the class engaged. Just make sure you dont miss class and complete every assignment and then itll be an easy class.

Dr. Shariff was a great instructor, gave 2 attempts on every test. He gave out enough homework and quizzes that helped towards grading. He is understanding and allowed me to take a test 1 day late. He assigned 2 essay papers that were not that difficult, he gives out layout and deadlines at beginning of semester. Answers to emails promptly.

Professor is a great TEACHER, going to class helped a lot. All test material in his slide shows, assignments worth same amount as test which helped my grade. Two easy essays, study for test. If he sees you try, he'll provide ways for you to pass. Biology is hard for me but this professor did great at breaking down the material. He loves his job.
