The subject itself is pretty difficult. I wouldn't reccomend taking this course online, so take it in person if possible. He explains things very well giving good examples that we can actually relate to. He makes sure you understand the concepts and is open to answering any questions. Slight accent, but it's all good. Very enjoyable teacher!

How many online Professors are so concerned you are able to complete their course successfully? Not many...I was impressed at the Professors concern. And I appreciated his questions making it clear the amount of time it would take to complete his course and thoroughly understand the material...and I highly recommend this instructor.

Very challenging instructor, if you don't go class don't expect to pass. Most of his exam questions come from his lecture and only a few of them come from the text. No need get the study guide with the text, it's useless (he doesn't use it). Just get the used version of the text, save money! Ask choke questions...he's rambles easily

The class is not easy, but if you come to class regularly and pay attention, everything will come easily to you. Everything on the exams are covered in class...there are no trick questions at all. He is very straightforward and very funny. He's from Iran and has an accent, but speaks English perfectly.

I understand clearly what on earth economics is with him, he only covers what is only needed. The book is not really needed he has helpful videos in laulima that you can study. he has an accent so you need to bare with it. he's funny too! whatever he gives on his review guide appears on the exam, not really exactly he may paraphrase it.

I really enjoyed Dr. Khalegi's class and the small study group we formed on his suggestion. His chalkboard diagrams and explanations of graphs during lectures were easy to understand and remember, and the exams were fairly easy if you put in the time to review and memorize your notes. Having a study group was fun and helped a lot. I recommend him

I forgot to mention that Khaleghi is really helpful and will go out of his way to help students, whether it's meeting with them to explain the material, or writing recommendation letters. He also shows genuine care about students and keeps up with them after the course is over. I'd definitely take one of his classes again. :)

This was my first online class. Professor was extremely helpful. Material was difficult at times. Instructor bent over backwards to assist you. Many opportunities to get an "A". It'd be hard not to get an "A" or "B" if you make an effort. I'm looking forward to taking his ECON 131 online class this Fall!

Overall he is a good teacher. He somewhat has an accent but you get used to it quickly. If you have any questions or need him to repeat something he will gladly answer and repeat things for you. Exams are easy, as long as you use the study guides and make sure you understand the topics covered. The only real homework is note taking from the book.

Took an online class from him. Homework takes hours, but is very helpful for the quizzes being that most questions on them are verbatim. No midterm or final, just hw and quizzes. Easy to pass, you just have to put in the time and effort.

I have taken ECON 130 and 131 with Mr. Khaleghi. He is my favorite teacher of all time! He is friendly, helpful, and hilarious! His lectures are clear, concise, and practical! Most of your grade will be based on four exams, which are easy because he prepares you really well with lots of review and practice exams! I would suggest him to anyone!

Best Macroeconomics ever definitely recommend. He has an accent, but just sit up front, bring your book, do your homework(which is only notes&once in a while a post on laulima), and review the practice tests and you'll be an A student! Will take his ECON 131 course.

So I took his Microeconomics course online. Hardest thing in my life! He's a great professor in person/lecture tho.I struggled so much I did everything from online searching/tutoring, LRC Tutoring, group study, etc. Don't take this course online or you'll for sure fail. The concepts are hard and not like macroeconomics. Trust me I'm an A&B Student!

Took the online class, he was there when you asked questions. The class was easy though and free will where you could do homeworks and quizzes whenever before the due date. It was great because I was 3 weeks ahead of the due date which allowed me to put more time in my other classes.

Dr. Khaleghi is very clever man. If you have the propensity to keep an open mind, you'll do well. A genius and a covenant in the underbuilding. Take this class. He is well worth the bid.

This class is very easy to pass with an A. He doesn't use the online code. It's strictly from the book. You take notes on the assigned chapter and then he marks if you completed it then lectures on the chapter. All exams are multiple choice. There was 4 exams total but only the highest three grades counted towards the final grade.

Great instructor who genuinely cares about his students, is very easy to talk to and makes class very fun! Just take notes on the chapter assigned and you will do fine on the exam. He gives practice exams that pretty much help you with the entire actual exam. If you want to learn economics and have a good time doing so, take Professor Khaleghi.

I am very happy that I took Econ 130 & 131 with Dr. Khaleghi. His lectures were informative, clear and details. He makes sure you understand the concepts to prepare for the exam. He gave out study guide and went over the questions with you and review graphs. So this class is an easy A.

It is easy class. Taking notes are important because he gives you credit for it. Tests are multiple choices and 25 questions each test. He will give you study guide. He does take attendance but not required to attend all class. But be ready for boring lecture, bring extra coffee. He is fair with grading

Dr. Khaleghi clearly wants his students to learn. He requires notes to be taken on each chapter. He is very clear about what he wants you to know and his study guides are the best for preparing for the 4 exams he gives. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Khaleghi for economics.

His live class is much easier than his online class. There's a lot of time between assignments and a lot of resources online but you're pretty much on your own to get it done. You actually have to read the book, because the answers aren't pulled right out. It really tests your understanding. Great teacher though!

Class is ridiculously easy. Don't buy the textbook its a waste of money. No real homework, just chapter questions (50) then chapter quiz (20) all multiple choice and you can just google the questions and almost all of them are found word or word online!!!! fricken awesome

I just finished taking this class from Professor Khaleghi and I received an A. He opens up all the homework, quizzes, and exams from the beginning of the semester, so there is no excuse for doing it last minute. But to make things better, towards the end of the semester he extends everything to the end of the semester. Easy A!

The hardest part about this class was the amount of note taking required for each chapter (but he's EXTREMELY flexible on due dates). It's pretty straightforward. You have 4 tests, 34 determine your final score. If you just pay attention to what hes saying, you'll pass EASY every time. Great teacher, fun lecture, made Economics easy to relate to.

Besides the fact that he's a little bit out there and the unbearable amount of pages needed for notes, his class pretty is easy(ish). He relies heavily on the textbook for most of the information you'll need. Some people complain about his accent. Get over it. His written English is better than most ccollege profs. HE'S DEFINITELY A PEPPER.

A lot of the content on the tests are taught through the lecture. Super flexible with homework due dates and is understanding with personal issues. Allows retakes for all tests.

STRUCTURE IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW.

All assignments are opened at the beginning of the semester; he does have different deadlines for each assignment so be sure to keep track of them! It's a straightforward schedule though so it shouldn't be hard to forget. Missed a deadline for an exam by accident and he was extremely understanding and extended it two days for me. Recommended!!!

Khaleghi knows what he's talking about! No doubt. He gives multiple chances on exams so it's hard to fail! The only homework given was to take a few pages of notes from certain chapters. His accent is a bit strong but it's easy to get past. I would recommend his class 200%!

Not much of a heavy workload for this online class -- one homework and one quiz due every week and four exams throughout the semester. The questions on everything that you will do is all multiple choice and some of the questions are repeated in the quizzes & exams. There's no need to buy the book because he posts all the modules on laulima.

Really cool. He opens everything on the day the semester start. You can go ahead finish everything early if you want. Extra credit is just substitutable other two HW and 2 Quizzes. Quizlet would be your best friends

I took him in Spring 2018. He inspired me to pursue Economics and I just graduated this past May 2020 with a BA in Economics. He is very chill and understands that we have lives outside of school. Economics is hard but I personally enjoyed it and that's why I got my degree in it.

This class was pretty straight forward. All assignments were open from day 1, so you' re able to get ahead if needed. He also gave extra credit at the end of course. I never interacted with him at all, which is fine by me. Very self-lead course. ECON was tough, but he provides lots of resources for learning the content.

Now that courses are offered autonomously online, I believe Professor Khaleghi does a great job of providing different resources to deepen your understanding on the different concepts. Yes, I took 130 and 131 in the same semester. Difficult, but doable. I would only recommend doing it that way if you are confident in managing your time or are a part time student. Both classes are structured the same. The first few chapters are exactly the same, and all assignments are available from day 1. Get ready to read. Lots of resources.

There is technically a textbook but he uploads it for u so theres no need to pay. The homework and quizzes are long, but they are manageable. He's very willing to help you just have to email.

Took the accelerated 5-week course, and the workload was very very doable! Skim through the textbook pages, watch supplemental videos, contribute to forums, and complete HW (each HW took ~1 hr). Course is set up in a way that makes it easy to grasp concepts + prepares students for weekly exams. Prof. Khaleghi was overall nice and approachable!
