Dr. Ghoram is very personable and easy to work with. His tests have very little to do with his lectures, so you have to read the book to pass the tests. The lectures are repetitive and sometimes do not make sense to the chapter we are on. He grades pretty fairly and is clear on his requirements for most things. Overall not too bad.

In his lectures you need to try and participate in it. He explains everything about the course in great detail on the first day of class. Test are formatted fairly simple and include everything talked about in the classes

In Dr. Ghoram's business communication class, learning feels more like a dynamic conversation than a lecture. He's got this amazing knack for explaining tricky concepts in a way that just clicks. Plus, he's super approachable. Basically, he's not just a professor; he's like the cool mentor you wish you had in every class.

He was able to engage the class every morning. He has stated he likes to look at each student's face during the lecture to make sure no one is confused by what he is teaching, and if someone is doesn't mind explaining further to help them understand better. As long as you read the chapters and attend the lectures you'll do fine.

Material was a little difficult to learn and so not having a lot of assignments really made the tests and attendance important. Kept the lectures interesting but you do need to also read your book. He doesn't mind answering any questions you have on the material. Not hard as long as you put in the effort and ask for help if you need it.

Was very good about keeping all of the assignments on the same timeline. Would release the workload week by week. Had a few problems about him not answering emails. As long as y'all read the book and have good time management you'll be fine. I just got lazy towards the end and didn't do a few assignments.

Attendance plays a huge role in your grade. His classes were always filled with interesting topics and detailed scenarios from his experience. I had to miss a test due to military drill, but Professor Ghoram worked with my situation and allowed me to take the test a week after its original due date. Great professor, hands down!

Tests are taken straight out of the book and look like they're put together by Mcgraw Hill. Not very much homework or assignments outside of class. You won't do well if you don't attend class.

I had heard about how the professor encourages every student to interact with the class. Overall great professor. Gives one presentation based project with around 4 exams. Exam dates vary based on the flow of the class and when chapters end.

Professor Ghoram was a very good professor. I had issues at the beginning of the semester with canvas assignments showing up and he was understanding and helpful in getting the issue resolved.

Great professor! This class was Hybrid so it was online during class hours. Do your assignments and you'll be good. Smart book assignments along with reading the chapter will help you pass tests. Powerpoint lectures help alot. He uses relatable examples to help you understand the chapters. I will definitely take him again.

Overall Professor Selwyn was a great professor, we had a zoom call once a week! In the call, we would discuss work from the previous week, go over notes/slides, and talk about the upcoming work. He did an amazing job of keeping us interested with the topics, and he was very active. If given the chance, I would take one of his classes again!

Put in the time and he's an easy professor , just a lot of work specifically smart books which take a long time to complete but are a very helpful learning tool. If you get to hear him lecture, he repeats himself a lot with real life easy to understand examples making the material memorable.

This is a great professor. He meets you where you are academically and make sure you understand the knowledge given. Honestly business communication is probably one of the only courses I learned something from that I can bring in the business world later in life.

Takes a minute to get used to if you're used to more formal schooling where the teachers don't joke. Calls a lot on the front row but if too many of the same people answer, he will pick on people who don't look like they are paying attention. You need tough skin cause he jokes a lot. You need to READ the textbook and not just rely on lectures.

The class doesn't have to be hard. You just have to show up and pay attention. If you pay attention and do your at home reading, you will be set up.

Professor Ghoram is a very understanding person and willing to work with any student surrounding and situations they might be in. He always keeps class interesting and holds your attention for the full length of class, will make you get out of your comfort zone but this will be helpful later on in your career and other classes
