While taking this course I realized how easy/interesting it is. Powerpoint notes are given to you via c.d. in the library. Quizzes/Exams are straight from the notes. Exams have a class review with extra credit. I have taken almost all Science courses at BCC and I will tell you this course is simple and effective. Thank you for the experience Prof.

This professor is not as bad as everyone is saying. She seems new but shes catching on. If the class needs help passing, she will tell you to hand in the review for a couple extra points. takes random attendence. dont even bother buying the book everything she gives on her notes are on the tests. good professor!!!

Very nice teacher, she doesn't use the textbook at all, but give you all the notes via powerpoint. All you need to do is go to class, write down exactly what she says, and study just a little and you will be fine. She doesn't try to trick you, and will tell you "this will be on the test" The only way you fail is if you don't study/don't go to class

Great Professor highly recommended. Teaches from power point presentations and gives you a review sheet before the test. If you study the review sheet and take notes in class, you should be able to pass her test. Those students that are complaining about how hard her class is obviously do not realize that this is a college course not grade school.

This class is easy if you go. She has a review before tests, if she dosent cover it, it's not on the test. Presentation instead of final. Her class is easy to understand, access to notes via internet. You cant beat it.

She is the bomb!! Make us laugh..and we always have good times...really liker her very much..have take other classes from the Biological Sciences Department and she is by far the sweest teacher ever...I strongly recommend her

Prof. Ramdin is a great teacher. She is dedicated and wants her students to learn the material. Some students mistake her dedication and caring ways for being mean. On the contrary, she is tough on her students because she wants you to learn. At the end we all walked out of there knowing a whole lot more than the 1st day of class. I def recommend

Take her and get A+++. She was really cool, if we finish early we could leave. Test are straight from her powerpoints just study the slides. Really easy class, no stress. no homeworks. A++++++

nery understandable. kind thoughtful, and loves to teach. hw every class and quiz every class. if you plan on missing classes for a lab i wouldnt recommend it. 2-3 assignments get messed up if you do. overall perfect teacher! if you want to learn something definately take teacher she makes everything so simple and fun to learn. everything!

Very Strong Personality! but she's nice for the msot part. She's young and pretty cool trying to provide soemthing! you can get a good grade, as long as you keep up with some basic studying and make sure you do all assignments! I took her for Bio Lab. Class was pretty interesting. I didnt find her so hard. but let me tell you need to study, study... she gives you a quiz every morning b4 class starts and she gives you like 5 minutes.... her h.w is a lot but easy. if you could find someone else to take try to.. l0l

She is really interested in the environment so taking her for an environmental class was really fun. Her tests are hard but if you dont understand something she will go over it with you.

Very nice teacher but this subject is difficult. If you are going into the medical field you cannot complain about the info u need to know. Any medical field does not get easier. Yes, alot of material but to her defense she will help. The lab manual was the worst; should not be sold. Work is not easy but you have to put the time into it.

This Prof. knows her subject extremely well. Her lectures are all from Pwr Point that utilize cool pictures and You Tube videos. She certainly offers extra credit and her test reviews contain the exact material that is on a test. If you got a bad grade last term only blame yourself not the Prof. She explained evrythng Easy class, Great Professor!

I could tell that she cares about her students she knew everyone in the class by their first name! shes very nice always wants to help however, this 1 credit class was the hardest clas iv had we had a test every time we went to class alot of memorizing because she wouldnt tell us exactly whats on the test but if you try hard your guarenteed an A

Not a hard class to do well in. She is a good teacher, pretty straight forward. All you need to do is study her notes and the lab write ups and you will get an A.

This Teacher is AMAZING. She is extremely helpful and also gives extra credit if deserved. If you study for her test you are guaranteed to pass. SHE IS AWESOME!

I had to take the biology lab class. You really have to study for her tests and the lab reports (one on every class!). If you are not lazy and study hard, you can get an A. She is nice and fair.

I took her in the summer and I enjoyed her class. She's nice and very helpful, but you have to study alot for this class. I would take her again.

Amazing professor that goes out of her way to help you learn the subject. She is passionate and knowledgeable about Bio2. But WARNING Practical worth 50% of the grade. Study Study Study and fail. I would advise to take an alternate route...different teacher.

Honestly, how rude and idiotic a few of the comments are below. Prof. Ramdin does expect a lot out of her students. However, if any of you ever plan on going to a University, you better get used to it. She is an excellent teacher, and yes, you will be challenged. If you are lazy, or don't want to devote time to studying, then don't take her.

This class was interesting, you only use the text book 5 times WASTE OF $100, shes very rude, tests are easy but you need to study.

I found her to be passionate about the subject. And she was helpful if you didn't understand something. The journal exercises did take time away, but that was her way in making the information stick in your mind. You definitely need to study for the tests, but she does do a review and lets you know what the essay questions will be.

This is a class that you really have to study in .I took it for the summer and we had 4 test 1 presentation and a couple journal entries.She gives you alot of extra credit chances.If you work hard you will get an A.

I've read negative comments, but my experience with her has been very opposite. Her class was entertaining, she helped out whenever she was asked, she's easy on the eyes, and her class, honestly not hard at all. Personally think she's a great teacher and all the kids here need to grow up, wait till u get a boss and then see if u can rate them.

I had her for BSC1010L and she was always willing to help us with what we didn't understand. The people who failed her course were dumb/didn't put any effort into it, that being said, when I had her most of the kids passed her course. In general, Professor Ramdin is a great science professor and always positive in class.

She will talk down to you if you ask a question. For everyone who said only dumb people failed her class, that is not completely true. She likes to act intimidating and is very rude, especially to high school students. I do not recommend her at all. There are many other professors who are more willing to help and are better teachers.

Im not professor ramdin im an actual student I just took environmental science summer b, she is super sweet and the class was no difficult. it was actually fun and all we had to do was show up. We did not use the textbook at all and she was CRYSTAL clear about her assigments and gave out extra credit what more do you people need ?

She was one of the BEST science teachers I ever had!! I almost didn't take her class because of some of the reviews but these students are WRONG. She was awesome! I never liked science until I took her class! She is very nice, helpful and you learn a lot! She isn't boring and we get interesting assignments and projects! Definitely take her class!!

this teacher is awesome. the only people that don't post a good review are most likely the people that failed the class. if you come to class and do all the assignments like you are sapposed to, then there is no reason not to get an A. I had her for biology, biology lab and earth science and got an A in all three classes

The best professor EVER! She is helpful, takes time to make sure you understand her class. Her powerpoint presentations are very helpful for the class. I agree with some of the previous comments, the only people complaining are the ones that did not pay attention in class or the ones that did not do any class interventions. She is the BEST!!!

EVR1009: great teacher. pretty easy. allows you to bring your lap top to class to take notes. very nice. field trips are extra credit. keeps class interesting. a few homeworks pretty easy. tests are a little hard study. if you get the chance take this teacher.

Don't listen to anyone giving this woman a bad rating! She is absolutely the sweetest and most understanding teacher I had this semester. The tests are all covered in the notes and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone understands the subject material. She's young so she's also pretty funny. EASY A.

Very nice professor. She is in school (working on her PhD) and working, so she understands what it's like to be a working student, and tries her best to make this class manageable and enjoyable, especially since this is a science class intended for non science majors. A textbook is not required, she PowerPoints from D2L. No class on days hw is due.

Best professor at Broward College. Class is super easy with 8 quiz for which you are allow to use notes. There are also 3 test and lots of extra credit chances. she is very nice and loves to help all her students. Easy A.

Had her for the summer and she went out of her way to make sure that we understood the material at the accelerated pace. Super funny and understanding but she does expect you to study and treat her course like it is a college level course! It is an easy B if you study a little. A fair A if you commit some time to the class. Loved her!

She goes the extra mile for her students to understand. Gives extra credit that helps you redeem yourself I found you mess up. 8 quizzes all open notes easy quizzes l. 3 test that are easy as well if you study what she tells you. Over all she's the best you won't regret it.

She is awesome. She cares for her students because she is still young. The class is easy and laid back. Open book quizzes on all 8 quizzes. There are 3 tests. No midterm or final. There are workdays that are easy. She gives 17 points extra credit. So there is no way you can do bad. Easy class, cool teacher, easy grade. Win-win-win.

I can start by saying you don't need the textbook at all so thats a plus. She is smart and very knowledgeable. The class consist of 8 quizzes all open notes and 3 test. She knew everything you would need to know. She is not rude actually very sweet. Take her thank me later.

Must come to every lab in order to complete the lab reports. I suggest to take with the lecture to understand the material. Quizzes at end of class on material learned in previous class. Very helpful and gives lots of extra credit including OPEN BOOK quiz at the end. ALWAYS stay entire class and she will work with you for extra points to pass!!

One of the absolute best professors I have ever had! She is fair and upfront about everything. She also will always ask for questions and answer them well. I say use this teacher for anything you can!

When it comes to tests the comments you see are somewhat true. So I suggest you study a lot for an A. The test are hard because theyre not made by her. She does give good lectures in class, we study based upon that. I still received a high b with a 60% test average. extra credit, 8 easy open note quizzes, 4 easy hw assignments. I'll take her again

Take a LOT of notes! Study before each test. But her quizzes are really easy and you can use your notes or even Google. However, she does talk extremely fast and tends to get off topic or give you random info. So write as much as possible because it might just come up on a quiz or test. She's very sweet and one of my fave science teachers.

She is awesome. She gave us extra credit, and when we asked for more, she gave us extra extra credit. The grading criteria is good. No crazy percentages; you just add the points you have. TAKE LOTSSSSS of notes, everything she says. It will be on the quiz. Open notes quizzes and multiple choice tests. She is very patient and has a great attitude.
