Quite possibly the worst professor I have ever had. He is boastful, arrogant, rude, and he can't teach. I'm sure he is a smart man, but that never came across in class. I'm in bio 1407 at a major university now, and I feel totally lost because I didn't learn anything in bio 1406.

Very hard guy, arogant, and superficial too. If you want a professor that you can go and ask for help-his is not the type of professor. Don't have time or the will to help you. What ever you do, DO NOT TAKE HIM OR YOU WILL FAIL. His tests don't make any sense. He is there to collect a pay check only, and he is not professional.

I'm in his class, but I don't know what's he is teaching.He doesn't go by the book. I've had to put my nose to the book to learn or ask others in class,but they're lost too.And he doesn't care,so he said in class

If you are in his class, i would feel very bad for you because he does not go by the book, yet we use it the whole time. and he contradicts himself all the time.

This guy really, really, really sucks. He doesn't keep promises about material or exams, is very boring, non-communicative, and curves grades so he does not look bad. I WOULD not recommend this guy if you can avoid him.

Super hard and super boring! After the first test a student came to him and talked to him about the test after the second test he yelled at everyone that he is not afraid of us and we should be passing. Third test I studied and read the book everyday for a week and it was still too confusing!! Avoid at all cost!!

He didn't give aby help to students. He is so artial in grading and helping students.I don't recommend this professor to any body. He just st in the chair. He don't put any material in learning wab.Everything you have to do yourself. If you want good grade you need to more interactive with him. He is not good to all, only for some.

My gosh I can't believe he teaches at HCC and Lone Star College. In his Bio class 75% of students dropped out. We were about 36 then 9 mid semester. He is hard to understand and he just goes over powerpoints which don't really help. He doesn't like people asking questions, he makes you feel dumb and he wastes class time telling funny stories. AVOID

He is the WORST professor i've ever had.. if you have him DROP the class. it does not get any easier. he is very disrespectful and you can not understand a thing he say.The tests he gives are irrelevant to anything discussed in class and in order to do even remotely well you should memorize all 1,000 pages of the book. "Dr" Adjei (still unsure what he has a doctorate in) spent a lot of time telling stories. He did not show any interest or care towards the students and became very defensive and aggressive when something was questioned. His test questions did not reflect lectures. He refused to give feedback on the last exam before the final. Terrible experience

Basically reads off the power point slides. Very hard to understand. He is away most of the time. Do not recommend taking his class.

Professor Adjei is honestly one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my life. He goes through his information way too quickly and only reads off powerpoints. He doesn't clarify any information at all. I would not recommend him for Anatomy & Physiology

When asking for assistance expect to be ignored or confused

Stay far away from this professor. All he does is read off the slides and he goes too quickly over them! I barely made it through this class and that was because I took a form of A&P before. We started out with 25 students and ended up with about 10 at the end of the semester. He doesn't even help with labs, they are just completion grades.

The only thing this professor does is read off the slides and tell inspirational stories. If you want to do well, just ignore him during lectures and study the textbook. Also, get on his good side, because he might just give you an A. And that's really important, because if he doesn't like you, you will get the grade you deserve (B or C).

The class readings that he reads off of the slides has nothing to do with the questions on the tests. If i were a doctor and had gone through all of this once.... including all the classes after this class... I might stand a chance.... Im saddened that this teacher wishes to use the class to talk about his personal life and not whats on the tests:(

Generally not a good professor and takes things personal. He just reads of slides and tells you stories about himself that have nothing to with the class. He doesn't really care to answer your questions and he's very prideful and doesn't believe he's ever in the wrong ever. Would not suggest him as a teacher for any course.

He does NOT teach, strictly reads off slides. Exams are 70% of your grade! It's extremely boring and I would definitely say this is a very didactic class. I regret taking this professor. He is also very moody and likes to roll his eyes or huff and puff if he doesn't like what you say or you in general. Take someone else!

He is by far the most ridiculous professor I've ever had to take. He does not slow down during lecture, but when you ask he gets mad, he reads directly off the slides, doesn't explain much of what is on the slide, and doesn't provide study guides or notes online. I took this class oppose to taking my other class from my schedule due to conviencey- He reads off a slide and will not discuss things with you,if asked if he can repeat what he said he says ask others I said how about getting up teaching and explaining to where we can get a great clearer picture because we all learn different! No study guide give!

Powerpoints read throughout the whole class time. He yelled at me once for wasting his time. Hard to communicate with him because of his accent. Youll teach yourself.

This is the worst professor I've ever had. The worst part is he actually said that he curves his tests based on his impression of you in class. He told me I was making top two grades in the class on the tests but I still got a B. You will not know what you are going to get until the end of the coarse with no explanation. His tests are also terrible

Gideon is the absolute worst professor I ever had. Imagine a professor who does nothing but sits at a desk, read the textbook to the class, does a poor job of explaining, then gives four 100 question tests worth 70% of your grade with no review. Thats Gideon. Waste of time and money. All these reviews you read are true. Do not take his class!!

If you're thinking of taking his class, don't. He is the most arrogant person I've ever met. Won't even consider the possibility he might be in the wrong or try to correct his mistakes. Doesn't care about his students learning the material or succeeding. Literally all he does is read off the slides, you'll basically have to teach yourself.

Gideon Adjei is a professor best described by the sight of a mother cockroach birthing its young. His lectures are directly from the powerpoint that comes with the textbook, he reads them verbatim. He tends to skip vital information often, then moves up test dates with a 1 to 2 day notice. Good luck learning 3 chapters back to back in 2 days!

The worst professor my class peers and I have ever experienced. Missed the first two weeks of class with no notice and came in with a weak story as to why. Professor spent the entire semester solely reading off the power points provided by the textbook. Nightmare professor. DO NOT TAKE!!!

He is the worst teacher I ever had. His lecture and test are really really heavy. In my class just few( 1 or 2) people can get the good grade. But in general is really bad. His test is 100 questions and the test review is useless. And he did not review anything for final too. He also has really bad english accent. he DOES NOT CARE about his student

Mr. Adjei is a good person but as a professor I do not recommend you take his class. The lectures are very dull and depressing as he speaks in a monotone voice and goes through a powerpoint. If that is our type of class he is your man. Hard class but if you do take him as a teacher keep up to date with your work and assignments and READ the text.

Do not take this class from this teacher. He does not care about students. He never answer the messages from students. Due to tropical storm, the technique is down. However, he doesn't sympathize with the students. Moreover, you must take attendance for this class. You will be dropped off the class if you are absent. Tests are heavy.

The worst excuse for a professor you could imagine. He's lazy, doesn't care if you pass or fail, and only does the bare minimum. He reads verbatim from the slides. Google his name and you'll find his insane evangelical ministry, a cleverly disguised tax racket. HCC is rife with corruption and incompetence, and "Dr." Adjei is the perfect example.

Not a hint or any direction of what to study for exams. Exams were randomly over anything, including stuff he had never talked about. Lectures were horribly boring. RUN

Don't do it, save yourself the time and money for another GOOD professor. PowerPoints are 100 slides on a good day. Exams SOMETIMES have the stuff you picked up in the lessons which can feel like a blur. He doesn't even spend 10 seconds before skipping 5 slides while assuming you pick up the 1200+ slides worth of PowerPoints at home.

Do not take him, save yourself the headache, even if you are desperate. He misgraded our assignments so some of our grades were brought down a whole letter, mine included. His slides are 150-300 slides long and there are 12 chapters, whatever he says was on the test in class was not there, he just does what he wants with minimal effort.

This is the worst professor at HCC. He is so rude and unhelpful. His exams are SO HARD with no study guides. There are only a few discussions and assignments, so if you do not pass his exams, you will likely fail. Do yourself a favor and pick literally any other preofessor.

Trust the reviews and not what he tell you on the first day about these reviews. They are accurate! I wish I would have not ignored them because these students are actually telling the truth. I got Covid-19 for a few weeks and when I got back, I came back during a test day which I was not informed about being sick, but I told myself it's fine, I'll make up the assignments I asked what I could do to make up the assignments and tests He then told me "I can't excuse any absence because then every student will say "my grandfather died."

This professor is worst than worst he needs to be removed. If you are a student who needs to be taught biology he is not the class for you. .He just reads very fast and asks no questions and does not acknowledge your hands up in class..Gives exams on multiple chapters at a time on nothing that he has read.He doesn't give review before test.Terrible

I took Adjei over the summer. He went through the slides without answering any questions and his exams were wild cards. He claimed they would mainly consist of what was on the slides, however, they had random questions in them that you would not know unless you went on wild expeditions on google. Do not take him if there is any alternative.

This guy Dr. Gideon Adjei... do not, and I cannot stress this enough... DO NOT TAKE. He reads word from word from his lecture slides, and doesn't really go into detail about what he's suppose to be teaching us. I didn't do great on exams, because most of the questions he would have on it, would be from a chapter he hasn't even covered yet.

I asked why an assignment received a low grade, I never received a response. The only reason I knew anything in this class was because I was taking AP Lab with an amazing professor.
