Where is he FROM?? that accent confuses me... His material is hard, and his tests are insane, but he's not out to screw people over. Seriously.

Good teacher with different strategies than other teachers; wants you to learn.

What are you talking about? this man is so nice! and helpful! His immunobio class is Ok and tests are pretty easy (essay).

I think the college uses him to weed people out of it's "hard curriculum programs". It is true that he purposely tries to make the tests hard and it's sometimes unfair but if you actually study you CAN do good.

Just because a teacher doesn't hand out A's, doesn't make him bad, evil, or crazy, seriously grow up,you're in college.Hes a tough teacher who wants you to know anatomy because you're going to be Health Professionals!!Study Hard, its possible to get an A!

Loved this man! Learned so much- if you think this is still high school, realize that you may want to actually EARN greades and LEARN something for your $30,000 a year! He's not there to weed out the idiots- but he will tell you if you can cut it

Im just an average C student. I took it over 2 years ago. Its hard, but it did teach me how to study. and if you think anatomy is impossible, see ya later. Cuz it gets a hell of a lot harder. Anatomy is a joke compared to what yur about to get into. ha

Very, very difficult class. Tests are tricky. No bonus. No curve. No drop tests.

From a former student, out of grad school, and now a professor: Dr. Zink is an asset to the school. He prepares you for the challenges that you WILL face in the real world. He expects you to know the material because you are ALL science majors.

If you think Zink is bad, wait till you get to p&t - Zink is a piece of cake compared to p&t.

Dr. Zink is probably one of the best teachers at this school! He is hard but fair, and goes to great lengths to get his points across.

He is a very good professor. You learn a lot of useful information. Real life info. If u don't keep up with his notes, trust me you will be lost, so don't try to cram the night before the exam. But overall his class is not so bad and he is fair.

Dr. Zink's lectures are very interesting and do pertain to your major if you are a science major. The only negative is his tests....they can be BRUTAL! Go to class, study hard, and do not just memorize back tests. You will do just fine.

Amazing professor - very interesting material once it all comes together. But his exams are VERY unfair. Know every detail humanly possible - and cross your fingers you do well on the exam . . .

Don't listen to what is on here. Dr. Zink is a great professor, excellent to listen to. Will make time for you if you need it and is always there for you. Very smart man who lays it all out for you, your job is to learn the material and know it for the exam. exams make you think, but if u cant pass these classes you have NO IDEA what ur geting into

"Now isn't that NEAT!" I love this guy! The classes were hard, but you learn a lot, and you'll never forget the Gilbert Zink quotes that everyone loves!

you will only be so lucky to get another teacher as good as zink. Hes tough but he knows exactally what he is talking about. I wish Zink could teach me every subject at this school, I might actually learn something

Dr. Zinc is like no other professor you'll ever have. He knows what he's doing and is an amazing lecturer. His exams will seriously****you, but he's the absolute best.

As long as you show up to class and study a little bit you'll be fine.

AWESOME lecturer. Never liked going to another lecture after him...he ruined it for the rest of college. Rumor has it he was a preacher, and from the captivating way he taught immuno, i believe.

Dr. Zinc is the model professor whom all others should be judged. I actually wanted to go to his class everday to learn, he's just that good.

Dr. Zink is one of the best professors I've ever had. I plan on taking more of his classes. One think i disliked about him is that he would bs his way out of any discrepency on the exam (which are hard but truly test your knowledge on the material). Other than that he's great and i highly recommend taking his classes.

Great teacher. nice guy. hard tests but fair. ppl don't like him bc, god forbid, he pushes students' ability and makes sure that you know the material. study, study, study and DONT just memorize. many ppl get A's so the class is not impossible.

You know, T.S. Eliot once said “If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?". With Gilbert Zink, you will be presented that aerial view of yourself and hopefully be able to use that as a reference point for not only your academic career, but your future. Gilbert Zink saved me. I hope he can do the same for you.

He's so great! He really knows his stuff and his lectures are anything but boring. I learnt a lot in his class and I can't wait to have him again for Immuno. "NOW PUT THAT INTO PERSPECTIVE"... haha he really makes you appreciate the human body by describing it in all its glory. Great class.

Great teacher, hard grader. Tries to relate the course material to life, which is great. One problem with him, as someone else said, is that if he's wrong on test questions, he will try as hard as he can not to give points back.

The majority of people commonly equate the term "school" with the idea of "work" or "chore". I regret to admit that up until September of 2007, I fell into this majority. It was in that very September that I was taught and tested by Dr. Zink. I know fully understand the importance of academic perseverence and the pursuit of knowledge. No regrets :)

Dr Zink was cool. All the negative reviews I read were posted by people who didn't want to work. His class was hard, but no where near as hard as half the other classes I had in pharmacy school. He would help you if you asked him for it too. He was genuinely a nice person.

Dr. Zink is phenomenal. Even if you don't like his exams, he is an awesome teacher and knows it all. I wish he taught all of my classes because he actually teaches you. No lie, you have to work hard studying to earn high scores on his exams, and then you have to work hard on the exam itself.

Dr. Zink is the best. Had him a few years ago, but he definitely knows his material. I learned a lot from his class.

You really have to work hard in this class in order to not only do well on the exams, but pass! But, he is such an amazing professor and always answers your questions. During exams, he helps you figure out the answer when you ask a question rather than tell you that you should know it already. Use a recorder bc it's easy to miss important info!

Despite his engaging stories and offhand comments, this professor does not give a hoot about you or your grade for that matter. You learn a lot during the lectures but for some reason, the tests dont match up with the material. Very interesting and worthwhile class to take. Just be prepared for it to be impersonal.

I did terrible in this class, but I learned SO much! I love Zink! He is an awesome teacher and you walk out of the class knowing so much! If you review after classes and write down every word he says you can do well in this class. Also get a recorder so you can pick up on his small sidenotes and stories! they will be on the test

Great teacher and great guy! Tests are hard and tricky but as long as you study and work at it you will get a decent grade. Zink is very helpful when you have questions about the material.

Zink is a great professor and he really loves his job. He's a great adviser too. He really knows his stuff.

The gate keeper to pharmacy. First D I've ever gotten in my life. You have been warned. Learned a lot and still did bad.

He's a great teacher but an awful tester. If you think you're going to get an A on an exam you'll probably get a B, and so on.

Immunology. Very interesting, a good lecturer, very clear, didn't go too fast. Overall I learned a ton. HOWEVER. His tests are impossible. Prepare to fail, because he deliberately tries to trick you. Can be a bit inappropriate with his stories.

Very good professor. You will learn a lot. Interesting. I stopped going to class and listened to lecture capture on double speed. Exams are only tricky if you don't read the questions or if you think into it too much.

This class is not hard at all. his lecture is your bible; the book supplements his lectures. GO TO HIS OFFICE IF YOU NEED HELP. dont be an idiot. its not bad at all, I never got below a 90 on his tests. got an A in the class

His class isnt bad. His exams are basically a story and his multiple choice can trick you up sometimes. You really need to keep up with the material everyday and not try to catch up right before the exam cause you will screw yourself over if you do.

Dr. Zink is a good professor who can relay the material clearly to all his students. However, his exams are biased, ambiguous, and impossible on some occasions. Learned a lot from his course, but his exams will irk your brain.

very knowledgeable about the subject, makes it really interesting by relating it to you/everyday experiences, makes it kinda funny too. May seem a little unapproachable but when you go to him he's very nice. Exams cover LOTS of info so studying the day before a test doesn't work, STUDY AHEAD OF TIME and you'll be fine

Professor Zink does everything he can to help you ace the exam. but it is on you to study. go to class. put in 2 hours studying each week. and you will get a good grade. definety memorize. he says not to, but it is necessary to do well on exam as well as application questions
