TERRIBLE

Gina is one of the worst instructors i have ever had at GCC. She is often late to class, passes out per class syllabus's that we never come close to finishing, SHE DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS. This class and instructor is a joke. I feel i have been robbed.

I WAS SO FRUSTRATED THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME I WAS IN THIS CLASS NO STRUCTURE NONE WHAT SO EVER MAYBE STICK TO YOUR DAY JOB

horrible! still dont know my grade, and she has students grade eachothers work. it was a waste of time. if i do not pass this class im raising hell! people that did no work or copied it are passing.

HORIBLE! Shes a nice person im sure but as a teacher so unorganized, she has another job and its pretty clear which one she cares more about. Its true she has other students grade each others homework so theres no point in doing it if you just have the other person fill it in for you. She loves to pile on the homework! if you have a job then DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! she does A LOT of group work and expects students to take time from their busy schedules to do it and WILL NOT let you do it alone. I called some of my classmates and ALL OF THEM got D's! she lovess to pile on the homework and is soo unorganized! Her stress, stresses YOU out!! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!

People in this class are complaining all the time. She is not following the schedule and alway popping up something. We were suppose to read two books in her class. But she just cut one off. I didn't like her class at all, and I tried to talk to her how to improve. But the answer was "hanging there, you will do fine." It did not meet my expections.

Sloppy. Not understanding and something is due every single day. She doesn't take the responsibility for poorly structuring her class and not having a set date for all her assignments. She says follow the rubric but her herself doesn't even follow the rubric. She's messy

Bad Commumication. I had emailed her multiple times about the final where she provides an article to read. The article was not posted on canvas so I asked what I was supposed to read about which received no response. She also lacks organizational skills. This class was all over the place and I was left constantly confused on what was expected of me

great person, horrible professor. She is extremely unorganized and assigns busy work then complains about grading. Puts assignments on canvas but locks them so no one can turn in & then gives 0s. Uploads assignments on canvas months after theyre due & deducts points for lateness when you turn in. Gives rubrics of assignmets AFTER theyre submitted

Gina is great! As a person not as an instructor. There is no organization or timeline of anything. She doesnt follow canvas so whatever is posted on there wont be do till months ahead. She forgets what she assigns and then insitits that something was assigned when it was not. I can speak for others when I say we left class SO confused.

She is extremely condesending and rude to her studnets without even knowing. She assigns tons of homework with the text book and doesnt even grade it. She will skim it and only really check it if she doesnt like you. She will literally take points off for no reason. Take her over the summer is you really have to.

She gets distracted easily while shes teaching. Gives a lot of homework. Doesnt give enough time to complete assignments and is passive aggressive. My advice is just look up the assignment that are due on canvas and turn them in.

This professor is not well organized and that is what made the class difficult to follow. I was not fond of her lectures because she was always all over the place with readings and homework. The topics discussed were interesting and the homework is easy, but the professor made the class difficult and confusing. Also, her tests were challenging.

I think as a person she's nice and attempts to care but she lets her emotions get the best of her. We worked a lot in our textbook and something was always do but she was very disorganized. She forgot about assignments and didn't grade them. The whole semester felt disorganized, I wasn't sure she knew what she was doing. I wouldn't recommend her.

She is so disorganized and doesnt grade things she makes you do, forgets whats on the agenda and just gives busy work to waste time. Most stuff you do for credit she forgets to grade or loses the papers, so you have to keep reminding her to grade things.

At first, Miss Desai is a nice person, one who cares about her students, but not as a professor. She constantly gets off topic, and when you get her back on track, she makes it the focus for 5 minutes or less, before she goes on another tangent. She is fun as a person, but she is so unorganized, and unfair in grading, especially a few minutes late.

She shows to be interested on your grades and learnings, but few week more you e-mail her for some questions and she doesn't answer you back till a month after, how come you could have good grades if they don't answer you on time and the due dates are close, Honestly this is a HORRIBLE teacher, if you want to FAIL go ahead and enroll her class.

The professor teaches critical thinking while also leading her students to her own pltc thoughts and opinions. Despite the fact that I am taking this class online and have no interactions with the professor, she spreads personal viewpoints on assignments that compel students to say what she wants.

She is very unorganized. We started with 16 students and ended with 8.

I attended Professor Desai's reading class and she was absolutely horrible! If you like clear communication, your work graded, and guidance, do not take her class. She will respond to an email within a week, grade your work very last minute, and not give clear instruction about her work posted. If you do attend her class, good luck to you!!

Her classroom was very cold every morning... So be sure you have some warm clothes... She wasn't that professional in my opinion...

She was a very slow grader, she wasn't prepared for anything. She didn't give clear directions. If you are able to take the 8 week RDG course, take it to get it over with. She didn't finish grading things until after the class ended.

This teacher would say that she wanted to have a connection with her students but never actually even tried missed class in the most crucial part of all the assignments. Her my reading lab cost 80$ for a 8 week class and the assignment she would give would be unnecessarily long and difficult for supposedly a easy class I would never recommend her

Please do not take this Professors class, she offered extra credit at the end of the semester and refused to put it in for me, she is very slow at grading and is not very good at responding to messages.

Professor Desai is very nice but incredibly unorganized. She rarely teaches and when she does it's very basic stuff. There's a lot of homework each week and she recently assigned two group projects at the same time. She's shown up late three times in a row now. Don't take her, please.

Extremely unorganized. Half of the links she used don't work and her due dates are either not changed from previous semesters or wrong entirely. Her sped up summer class is extremely difficult to follow as she doesn't modify anything to accommodate for the short semester. Coursework is easy but the professor and her canvas are extremely difficult.

I hate her class, she is terrible at everything, I dropped class because I couldn't handle her teaching and grading. First time in my whole life, I hate someone this much.

She really cares. She's kinda political too, she wants you to be on her side if not she makes faces if you disagree. She grades really last minute too, in the beginning constantly late, and still super disorganized. If you do things ahead you'll have a surprise assignment due same day or you can't even find the assignment in moments.

Easily the worst professor I have ever come into contact with. She doesn't grade anything on time, and you have to stand over her shoulder to make sure she grades your stuff. To make it worse she only has to grade two assignments per week for each student because the rest are auto-graded... She won't email you back so don't even try.

Worst grader ever takes FOREVER.. she is really nice but she seems to not care about her students but she will give you extensions, if you turned in something 2 months late she wont take late points away..

The was the worst teacher I had for my first year of school. She is always late to class, never actually teaches the class, and always terrible grader. She gives the hardest feedback four weeks after the assignment was due. Would never want to take her again.

The class is easy, it is just monotonous and boring. Coupling that with the fact that she takes forever to grade, doesn't give great feedback, organizes her Canvas poorly, and isn't great with time (determining how long things take and balancing workload). This class feels like ENG101, but without being taught anything. Wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely do NOT take her.. the class is beyond easy but there is SO much busy work. She is the worst grader on campus, she graded things from the first week a week BEFORE THE END OF THE SEMESTER!! She is so kind but doesn't teach. She reads off slides and doesn't tell you when big assignments are due.. will not take her again.

The professor was often late but expected students to be on time. Homework was excessive, grading was slow, and lectures were disorganized and off-topic. It was hard to reach her for help, and the class was grade-heavy with little guidance. Very frustrating experience overall.

This professor would lecture about things that didn't even apply to course, kinda feel like she brings her outside problems into the classroom and she takes SOOOO long to grade assignments.

She is really funny, but most of her assignments are AI generated and most of the notes aren't even correct. Also she takes a LONG time to grade
